The place had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, the food menu catered to all tastes and eating capacities. The service was good and staff were warm and friendly.
Me and my husband were served by an amazing waiter named Rick. The experience was fantastic, he was bubbly, very accommodating and the food as absolutely fantastic !! We are leaving very full and very happy.
Got to 10th to find 8 guys teeing off. They promised they were playing in two groups. Watching them on 11 and 12 we rang the golf shop. They sent a guy out to talk to them. This photo is 13th green with 8 golfers. Fat lot of good the discussion did. This is a Sunday at Parkwood. Lol.
Food was great.. the staff on duty were less than friendly. Simple requests such as "could we get some cutlery with our main meal" seemed to much and we ended up getting it ourselves.. we left feeling like a burden on them for spending just under $90 on lunch and drinks... Based on that, (sorry Lingy) I would not go back.
We enjoyed two fantastic meal here and we are likely to come back while we are visiting. Lots of vegan options and great prices, I will warn you though you may need a mobility scooter when you're finished with your meal!. Really nice ambience, I feel like all round our visit to the Cornish was a very well rounded experience and we highly recommend this establishment.
The vegan Xmas in July lunch by Zacchary Bird was incredible value and he is a delight - shoutout to Tully too 4 excellent drinks
We had an amazing meal here today!! My porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection, just as I had ordered it medium rare 🙏🏻 the only criticism we might have is that my partner's salmon dish where the only vegetable that he had was onions, so that was disappointing. I always order my meals without onions so I guess I would have had no vegetables if I ordered that dish 😏
Service was friendly and the wine was lovely, so hence we are not going to mark you down for the poor vegetable serving on the salmon, but please reconsider the vegetables you serve with this dish.

Awesome pub with pro-vegan feel 😊🌱… ample serving sizes, great service and menu options for non-vegans as well. Snack menu was the highlight and would love to see expanded dessert options.

I cannot thank The Bower Estate enough for our absolutely perfect day! Everything ran so smoothly from the morning getting ready, through the whole ceremony and well into the night. The staff were professional and lovely and made sure everyone had more than enough food and drinks. Such a beautiful part of the world!

Monday night out with the girls was perfect at The Club. I've lunched here before, but the food was particularly good this night. Maybe because it was nice and quiet. The service was brilliant. We all decided to do it there again next month.
A lovely evening out. Service was very good….shout out to Chloe for her care and attention…sat in a great spot with a view of the bay. Drinks were quick…cocktails well made (bartender on the night was friendly and generous with his time…thanks). Food came out quickly and was tasty. Atmosphere was mellow and pleasant. A decent outing…with great views. Worth going for a night out.
Recently joined as a social member. All things considered it’s excellent value in a place with a very pleasant ambience and good restaurants. So far have dined in Boulders (lunch) and dinner in The Dining Room, both very good experiences.

Unreliable customer service. Was very interested in this location to get married, as all photos are stunning. But have been in contact with them since the end of May, and am still yet to receive appropriate package prices. Even received a “courtesy email to see if there is any other information you require” (on 19/6/24), to which I responded the following day, and asked again for appropriate price packages. And am still yet to receive a reply. Won’t be trusting a company with such an important day when they can’t even take the time to respond accurately to enquiries.
The Bower Estate is such a special venue, nestled up in the Numinbah Valley and bordering on Springbook national park. We really wanted a place that fit with our connection to the natural environment and I feel there is nowhere else that compares. The venue, team and the catering were all absolutely amazing - thank you!

I did a Google maps search to find a place en route to Melbourne CBD to stop in the Uber whilst I awaited my hotel details being sent.
The Cornish Arms looked the best thing between the Iroirt and the city from about 20 Odd pubs I looked at in the back of the Uber.

They have some good beers on.

They have some good vegan and GF options too.
I got the lamb. I'm not even joking, it's one of the best things I've ever eaten. It's basically a pulled lamb version of a Donner kebab and chips. Absolutely amazing flavour.
It came in under 10 mins.
I eat a lot and I'm stuffed so it's good portion.
All the other food looks great.
The guy serving siad the chicken is amazing too.
All the food is mainly under $30 apart from the steaks, so it's really reasonably priced for Melbourne.
Beers are mostly circa $15 a pint.
But they also have a $10 craft beer if the month which I'm going to try when I finish this current beer, which is the Cosmic Microwave, which is a lovely IPA.

Absolutely wonderful eels home ground. Beautiful modern stadium. Pretty easy to get around. Handles a big crowd very well. Not much Parking but that doesn't take anything away from a great experience at the stadium. My mate and i have great half way seats a little high up but gives a fantastic view. So do yourselves a favour as i always say and get down there to check out a game. I'm an eels season ticket member so I'm down there for all home games. I recommend getting there a little early and getting street parking then walking to the stadium. There are fantastic local places to eat before and after the game. Good value. Check it out
Previous to breakfast this morning we had only attended for various evening events. We were pleasantly surprised by the value and quality of our breakfast foods. We arrived early and had a choice of tables. Following our order we were asked to pay upfront at the table which I thought was a little unusual, though staff were friendly and accomodating throughout our visit.
Cool atmosphere, very ‘inclusive’ vibes with all walks of life there. Not too busy when we went around 6pm, took a wee while for our drinks to come but to be fair we kept turning the waitress away as we weren’t ready lol.

I was pretty not happy with the table booking right next to the door as it was a cold night. Anyways I ordered Atlantic salmon and it was cooked perfectly. I loved everything that was on the plate. Only negative thing I would say is that it is over priced for this meal and the salmon could be a little bigger and more vegetables. Also it was served in a bowl instead of a flat plate and was a little difficult to eat. Service was great and friendly. I would dine here again.

Came here to meet up with a friend for a late lunch the owner was so welcoming and lovely, the kind of service that is so hard to come by these days, but they absolutely nailed it. We had our wedding on the 26th of April 2024, and it was so magical! The Bowers Estate was everything I ever dreamt of, all the staff at Bowers Estate was so amazing! they were professional and friendly and made sure we had all our questions answered. Special Thanks to Kate, Liv and Lexi for making the impossible possible, and made our wedding planning journey so easy and stress free. We had so much compliments from our guests and families on how beautiful our venue was. Thank you for making our dream wedding come true!
Was so looking forward to Mothers Day family lunch. Arrived to a lovely looking place, very few people at the restaurant and this was surprising for a traditionally busy day for lunch venues. Our table of 13 people had been asked to pre order the day before to avoid waiting on the day. The meals came out in dribs and drabs over about 10 mins. My steak sandwich was horrid. A large thick hunk of meat much like a porterhouse steak complete with a huge strip of fat and numerous inedible chunks of gristle and other fatty chunks. A small bit of meat that I tried to slice thinly and eat within the bread and meagre other fillings. The meat was stringy, tough and a cheap product that a steak knife would have struggled to make headway. It was impossible to eat and it was not the right cut or type of meat to use in a sandwich. I persevered for a while but gave up in disgust after my whole table of people agreed it was horrid. A lovely lady had cleared some plates from the other end of the table but did not come near me.. pretty sure she knew what was coming. I discreetly took my plate to the counter and told her that I could not eat my meal and I would not be paying…. Calm, quiet but factual. She said she would have to speak to the manager (could have been owner or other title). A male appears with my plate in hand asking who had a problem with the meal… me…. He storms over, argues with me about the meal so all his other customers could hear! I was told if I wanted softer meat I should have ordered a burger with mince meat. I was told I have ordered a steak sandwich and that’s what I got. He was so rude and arrogant….. such embarrassment for me and all at our table. He repeatedly asked me if I was going to pay….. nope not paying. The food was bad, but his behaviour was worse being so incredibly rude for a person in a leadership role. I did not pay for my meal. The other meals were ok, but I would say mediocre, another steak sandwich with chunks of gristle, eggs Benedict with hard boiled eggs etc. The other staff seemed lovely, the venue was really gorgeous, such a disappointment to have this man and his attitude at the helm. I hope he is not a new staff member from the recent position vacant. Time for a career change regardless of who he is.
Booked for 12 on Mothers day. 2 ordered Steak Sandwiches. 1 was 50% Grissel and fat, the other 30%. When a quiet complaint was made, the Manager (I assume) came over and said that is what you get when you order a Steak Sandwich. They buy premium steaks. If you don’t want the grissel, order a hamburger.
No apology, no consideration for charging $27 for such inedible sandwiches.

Food variety is adequate - the usual fish and chips, roast beef, etc. Dessert selection isn't extensive. The receptionist isn't friendly, and at the 1.5 hour mark, he begins to rush us out. The person at the table is informative about the whereabouts of the cutleries and drinks.
Just finished lunch @ the Kitchen Workshop. Our son booked a table online for our family of 6 adults & 1 toddler. We were seated promptly on our arrival @ a table close to the buffet, but not in the way of people approaching the buffet for food. The drinks station was also close by on our other side. (Soft drinks are included in the cost.) There were two soups to choose from, with a variety of breads. There was also a choice of Asian, Indian, roasts, seafood & salads for entrees & mains. A good range of condiments was easily accessible. The hot food was hot & enjoyable to eat. The buffet could have had more salad options, but it didn't impact what was a reasonable choice of dishes. Our toddler enjoyed the fresh fruit. The dessert choices were plentiful. The pavlova looked delicious, but my allergy to kiwi fruit meant that I had to abstain. Even though it was quite busy, the queue moved quickly. Guests were polite, as were the staff. All in all, a very pleasant lunch in a restaurant where all ages are made welcome. For those looking to park a car, we used the Trade Centre Carpark @ a flat rate of $13. The walk was quite a reasonable one.
Having our wedding day at The Bower Estate was truly a fairytale. The stunning backdrops of the hills, forests and natural landscapes are beyond anything we had seen before. From the beginning, the staff were kind, considerate, professional and incredibly helpful & accommodating. The team at New Romantics & Ridgeway Catering are also to be commended for the delicious food & beautiful styling. During the wedding day, the team check in with you and keep you updated, while taking care of all the behind-the-scenes task. They went above and beyond when some things didn't go to plan and we are very grateful. It rained after the ceremony on our wedding day but on the Bower Estate, rain truly makes the day even more magical. The forest and clear marquee look picturesque in the rain and the photos are elevated even further. Our guests still haven't stopped talking about the estate and how beautiful everything was. There is nowhere else we would've chosen for our special day & we highly recommend the Bower Estate to anyone. Cameron, Ally and Caroline are the best and are always available to answer any questions and keep you updated about the whole process from start to finish. Recently hosted my 50th birthday in the Eden room at the club and was very very happy! Staff were fabulous - very organised, food (platters) was really good quality, plenty of platter choices available. A really great place to host a significant birthday or wedding. Thankyou Mel and the team.
Our daughter's wedding was beautiful at Glenrock Farm and we really appreciated the wonderful service we received. The location was gorgeous (providing an excellent back drop for photos) and the facilities were great.

Fantastic, authentic Italian cuisine. Only one wait staff due to a no show and this member did a great job. Food was wonderful 2x mains, bread, salad, wine and coffee $126, this was a late lunch but did not need any more. First time diner’s and will be back.
Best buffet for value, though I would like to see more variety in the hot food section, I can see that they focus a lot on CARBS obviously they want you to be full and intake 10000 calories before digging in to anything else.

We came in just on the dot of 9pm just before the kitchen was closing, the staff (Ella) was super attentive and had a can do attitude as opposed to saying she couldn’t help which one might expect near closing time. The food was very quick and very tasty, steak dish was a big portion tasty
and vegetarian options were good (compliments to the chefs). Dog friendly venue was a plus for us. Given the variety of places to eat and drink in the area. This is a safe bet. Thanks Ella!

Very well maintained historical church-like building.
Cam, Ally and Jayden were wonderful to work with and very compassionate with myself and my siblings when we organised our mother’s funeral. They were very professional and supportive in executing all of our mothers wishes from beginning to end and performed a wonderful service honouring our mother in her farewell.
I cannot speak any more highly of the amazing team. They not only cared and respected my mother but also the family she left behind.

We recently got married at MacKenzie Quarters. So pleased with our choice venue! Mercie, our coordinator, didn’t skip a beat. Her professionalism and attention to detail with all that we wanted was exceptional. The menu and service from staff was top shelf, with our guests all raving about the meal and service. Our weekend at the beautiful Residence with little extras of evening liquers in the suite & croissants delivered for breakfast a special extra touch. This cafe is just delightful! It has such a beautiful feel to it. The decor and ambience is so inviting. I had the French toast and it was delicious. It is the best breakfast I’ve had for a long time. Our friends also really enjoyed their breakfast and the coffee is very good. Thank you!

The organisation of the event was fantastic- a prompt response to e-mails, great customer service, terms clearly stated. Customer service at the start of the event could have been improved- there was no sense of welcome or friendliness from the bar staff, which was disappointing. The food was excellent, however there was a 15-minute delay on when we ordered it for. Service during the meal was great- extremely attentive. Staff however began packing up the event before we had left the venue, while we were still sitting at the table; considering we had paid until 4pm, this was again, an unappreciated occurrence.
Really amazing state of the art stadium that hosts football and soccer games. Attended an A league game and was impressed by how quickly you are able to enter the stadium with the security checks and ticket gates. The place just feels new and purpose built. There are plenty of food venues and drinks service and adequate toilets that are clean. The steep design of the stadium allows good views of the pitch whilst not feeling too far from the action. Definitely a world class stadium.
I highly recommend Meadow Park not only as a fun golf course for all but a great experience to higher out the clubhouse for your next event. Jason and Georgie helped make my event stress free and easy. Thank you to the amazing team!

As the website suggests, The Residence was built in 1870 and is an historic reminder of a bygone era. That said, it very comfortably slept our party of nine. The three double rooms are huge and very spacious.
There is a fully functioning kitchen with a massive fridge to cater for all your needs. The description on the website about The Residence's inhouse facilities and sleeping configurations are accurate. This along with The Residence's central location makes it a fabulous place to decamp for an escape to Bendigo.

Attended the 50 birthday lunch, food was nice and atmosphere too. Perfect for budget party like Christmas lunch or birthdays lunch.you can choose whatever you want so no one will judge you so guest can really enjoy as much they want.
We are just around the corner at exhibition centre and found the buffet the easiest choice to cater for 7 of us.

Our wedding was 14/10/2023 and we had the most amazing time. The venue looked absolutely perfect, and Lena and the staff were wonderful. I could not have picked a better venue for our perfect day. The absolute highlight of the day was feeding the cows.
Lena’s experience was paramount in us achieving a relaxed atmosphere for our event. Our guests kept commenting on the friendliness of the catering staff and quality of the food.

Service so good!! Paid $40 for 4 little pieces of meat, so not satisfied, waited over an hour for our food, not happy was not worth the money ! $9 for water ridiculous
Good variety of food from entrees to deserts. Great service. A little bit more expensive on Friday and Saturday nights. Well worth to try out. Excellent location.
I had a great experience at the Cornish Arms Hotel. The food was delicious, especially the Mexican parma and the vegan burrito bowl. The atmosphere was lively and cozy, with a typical pub vibe. The trivia was a lot of fun, and the winners got free jugs of beer. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was fast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal and a good time.
We didn't end up using Glenrock as our venue but I can't compliment this venue enough. Lena was so informative and thorough with her walkthrough of the property. Excellent communication and an overall gorgeous venue.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning and photos simply do not do it justice. The food and service from Ridgeway Catering was also incredible (I am running out of superlatives to use - trust me, they all fit the bill here) and all night we had people telling us just how amazing the venue and the food was.
We had the best day possible and would do it all again at the Bower Estate in a heartbeat if we could.
The included bus is a bonus and super convenient for guests so they can enjoy their evening without worrying about transport.
Do not look at other venues - if you're after an all-inclusive hinterland wedding venue, the Bower Estate is perfect. Would give them 1000 stars if we could.

Amazing stadium and well worth visiting, have been here for many sporting events and there is no bad position to sit. Great viewing angle from any position. Ammenities are clean and plentiful, food and drink availability is great and minimal lines. Ingress and egress has never been difficult before and after an event
Great 9 hole course with mainly par 3s and a few par 4s. Suitable for all abilities. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The practice putting green is well maintained and flat. The greens on the course are more challenging. Golf cart and club hire are available. Lots of bird life to see as you walk around.
Fabulous place to have breakfast or supper! Good hospitality is shown by the staff! The interior designs are eye-catching! Really enjoyed my jaffle and coffee today.

It is not really a fine dine place, but it is a good experience to eat out. It is a buffet system where you can have your own choice of food out of so much variety. There are so many desserts and at a good price. So overall we had a good time there, because later you can walk around in the city, at Yarra River. Parking was found easy. We went on the weekend the car park was $7 for first 5hour.
I recently held my wedding at Glenrock Farm and couldn't have been happier with the venue, and support from Lena (venue coordinator). Lena helped so much in the lead up to the wedding, in coordinating with vendors and myself, and on the day was on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful, with a rustic shed and old gums throughout. Being able to hold both reception and ceremony on site, plus having everything needed on site made the day so easy. Thank you for making my day so special x

Rhianwen, Mercie, Hannah and all the team at MacKenzie Quarters were amazing on and in the lead up to our wedding day. They were responsive, calm and reassuring. The attention to detail was fantastic and they were so invested in making our day perfect. The photos looks nice in here so I decided to give a try.
After I walk in to the backyard,the atmosphere is lovely, such a nice relaxing place to be.
For the food I ordered chili scramble egg with chorizo, my friend got steak sandwiches.
I have to say I’m disappointed for my meal. I noticed that chorizo was burnt straight away but I didn’t want to point out, then after I ate half way through, I found the eggshells on the plate.
Of course it’s not the big issue , but it’s just not nice.
Also the plate have few chips on it,

To die for food. I’m visiting Perth from Sydney and this is one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to. The coffee is beautiful and smooth, food is cooked perfectly. Eggs are fried amazingly, bacon is soft yet crispy, mushroom is beautiful, hash brown is tender and cooked just right. Cafe interior is beautifully designed and makes the atmosphere so comfy.
It's been a few weeks and we are only now coming off the high that was our wedding at MacKenzie Quaters! The team went above and beyond to ensure that the day went smoothly. Mercie was so accommodating, patient and professional with an amazing attention to detail. Our guests raved about the food, in particular the apple tarte tartin, the pork belly canapes and the wagu beef with truffle mayonnaise. The service all round was outstanding and I would highly recommend MacKenzie Quaters to anyone. I'll definitely be coming back for my next wedding!

They had a very large, incredibly noisy group in the general dining area next to us preventing any form of conversation between my husband and myself.
They have a function room, they should have used that.
We did use Martini’s as our special quiet reliable go to restaurant, but no longer.
I can’t speak for other diners, but we all looked very unhappy.

Went to the swing suite, very nice. 6x players in our group playing teams. We'll catered, easy to understand. Check website for pricing. Can recommend it as an office team building or just some lads having a laugh. There are different games you can choose from, golf being a favourite. The whole venue us geared around family involvement. We will be returning. The suites have their own sticks and balls. You welcome to bring your own. To add, we had a kids birthday party outside. Had a good time.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The most perfect venue for our wedding. The rustic appeal of the barn, the beautiful views of ceremony area, and of course the photos with the cows! The food was amazing and plentiful, the staff were exceptional and Lena was so supportive and helpful in the planning of the event.

Had one of Larry’s ( owner and chef) pasta specials and it was amazing.
Big serve and plenty of the good stuff in it so every mouthful was flavour explosion.

Delicious meal for Our 35th wedding anniversary on Valentines day. Chef went above and beyond for me due to my garlic allergy. Service was magnificent.

Your course is in fantastic condition, when other courses are closed you are open due to the upgrade of drainage system.
I'd highly recommend this course for your short game and for those looking to take up the game, as Scott will always be happy to give you a few lessons.

I would 100% recommend Glenrock Farm as the perfect venue to host your special event. We just got married there and Lena and her staff were so accommodating to us and our guests. Lena was very responsive in answering any questions we had and nothing was too hard. The food was totally melt in your mouth amazing and the kids got a kick out of being able to feed the cows.
This was our first Italian meal for a while, but I really wanted something a bit special, and hopefully a bit authentic (like ‘Nonna used to make’). Very pleased to find an excellent menu with a few long-forgotten favourites. The staff were very friendly (personable), which contributed to a very pleasant evening overall.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff and good food. Quite expensive for what you get but it was very tasty. It was a bit loud in there and while they had specials for the evening, there was no specials board so it was only rattled off by the staff. For reference, the T bone pictured was $45 and the squid $32.
I have played here twice now and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I like that they have 2 practice nets and the practice putting green matches the speeds of the greens on the course. There's no rush which is fantastic, you can lazily plod through your round. It's not a very tricky course, hardly any water which makes it perfect for beginners. The layout is neat, you are never in the way of people in front or behind you even if you hit a stray shot. If you're in the area, it's a good little place to play.
The fenced off “future development” site next door between the large plaza & Leagues Club is an eyesore as is the mish mash of temporary fences / barricades just left all over the place on non event days near the stadium entrances they can easily be put out of the way to make the stadium plaza look a bit tidier 👎
1st visit in a long time for me, dined with 3 others all enjoyed our chosen meals. Excellent service, a little noisy, surprising given wooden floors. Overall very good
