A really lovely spot to come for a walk. Very good parking and toilet facilities. It’s also Wheelchair accessible. The views of the water can’t be beat and it was a sunny day today but not too hot, a beautiful breeze off the water. There’s some cafes etc that you can stop to eat. I would definitely recommend this for a nice outdoor with family and friends

It's certainly pleasant walking or bike riding here... there's so much to take in! Be it the Baddu Mangroves dreaming board walk. The various elevated lookout towers dotted around the bay. The bird hides among the tidal lakes. The old brick pit is an interesting discovery walk. There's so much to explore here. BBQ areas have lots of families enjoying a fun cookout.
Won't be long now till north and south are connected and you will be able to walk along the waterfront all the way to the bridge
This is a great spot by the water. We joined at the Armoury Wharf and then ran around the river. It is a great spot for a run, walk, or bike ride. It is located close to cafes and the old Armoury. There is also a large playground nearby and picnic facilities.
One of the best yet isolated place to sit and enjoy the arena especially in late evening, by hanging your lega freely down towards the river bay.
廢棄的船不知道晚上看了會不會有點可怕 其他是還好 很美的風景
It's a lovely promenade to see things and be seen. I normally enter from Amalfi Drive or from Bennelong Parkway near the Archery Centre to access the promenade. It's sundrenched and can get hot but there's a nice breeze from the Parramatta River. You have unimpeded views of Rhodes from across the river and also the shipwrecks that are visible in this area. I think it's a place to use early morning or late afternoon and evening to appreciate the lights sparkling on the river as there are no shaded structures to escape the sun. I was surprised that the promenade doesn't go all the way through as it ends abruptly at a construction site!

This is my idea of a stunning river walk promenade. It starts from the Newington Armory gate at the corner of Louise Savage Pathway and River Walk. I adore this walk because the promenade is framed by the Newington Nature Reserve and the Parramatta River. This takes me to pass the Murama Healing Site, the Newington Armory wharf area, the Armory Ferry Wharf and Armory Café, the Ferris Pavilion barbecue area, the Adventure Playground and Blaxland Riverside Park, and I finish up on top of the River Marker at Blaxland Riverside Park.
