Free Rock climbing access for experts as the rock site is quite steep and very high.
Be safe while taking photographs as there is no handrails to hold. It is a very good workout as the trails aren't sealed pathways, just bush tracks so I'd advise you to have appropriate footwear and take water with you too. Great city views across Perth from the airport to the coast. You should watch the sunset with some music and some snacks. Just take a look at the photo and you willknow what iam talking about. Its a beautiful view. Single lane windy road all the way down Zig Zag road. A few places to stop at the top before you start the windy drive. Take the chance to stop here and take your pics or just enjoy . There isn't a barbecue space or similar to enjoy a day with the family or friends. This park so far is good just for a couple hours driving with the car.

Nice steep hills, a bit dry. We saw lots of birds and some roos.

A must-visit! It’s really beautiful, with many trails for various walks. I recommend taking the one that leads to the top of the mountain for a breathtaking view! You also have the chance to see many animals, including lots of kangaroos (especially in the morning). It’s truly exciting to see koalas as well.

Only a 45-mins drive from Canberra. Went here for the Tidbinbilla Open Day and had a great time. There were lots of activities and useful information, we got to learn about first aid, nature conservation, and cultural experiences. Overall, a good fair and we had a blast.

Great mtb trails. Well maintained and fun.
A fair bit of climbing to reach the better trails but there are a few green runs down low for beginners or the less confident.

Spent an afternoon here in September. Fantastic experience, wandering around among Wallabies and Kangaroos. Also Koalas up close. Worth every bit of the very modest entrance cost

Exactly what you're expecting;
A Nature Reserve with an eye towards animal care. They have a number of sectioned Animal Sanctuary areas, a Veterinary Team on-site, and more than a dozen separate walking trails.
Their team members are very knowledgeable, and were extremely happy to answer the questions that my USAmerican guest was asking.
I'm really glad I took the day off to go here.

Beautiful and unforgettable tour yesterday with National Park ranger Andrew! Such an incredible island with such rich history. Highly recommend visiting here and the lighthouse if you get the opportunity.

Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is an absolute gem, deserving of 5 stars. Nestled in the Canberra wilderness, it offers breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. The hiking trails are well-maintained and showcase the natural beauty of the area. The sanctuary's commitment to conservation and education is commendable, making it a perfect destination for families and nature lovers alike.

Lovely nature reserve, I was able to see Wallabies in the wild, Koalas in a protected area and did a couple of short enjoyable walks. Worth visiting.

The massages are consistently good and leave you feeling refreshed. The staff are friendly and professional. A great choice for massage therapy.

A beautiful place to go to disconnect and enjoy nature. It is easy to get around the nature reserve by car, if you are lucky you will be able to see various animals such as emus, koalas, kangaroos and different birds. It also has areas for picnics and barbecues, and different paths for hiking.

Statham's Quarry. A great place for all types of abseiling levels and there's a few climbs as well. Been jumping down these rocks for over 30 years

Gooseberry Hill National Park is very beautiful to look at. If anyone drives along the hill pathway from the bottom, the feelings become awesome. Climbing up the hill is always adventurous. After lifting in the hill, drive the zig zag drive along with the sight seeing of the horizon, forest view & beauty of Perth city.

Incredibly beautiful and peaceful area with fantastic hike options. I did the Gibraltar Peak hike, which took me about 4 hours with lots of time to hang out at the top and stopping often to take pictures. I saw lots of wildlife, including kangaroos, mountain dragons, skinks, and a lot of interesting birds. I enjoyed reading about the history of the area and the significance it has to native Australians on the many informative plaques. It was a Sunday with beautiful weather but it was not crowded. The building was closed when I was there. Note that there were not bathrooms since the building was closed. I would have loved to spend more time there!

No natural feel,no connection to nature. No walking through narrow paths in the bush, listening to birds or enjoying the wildlife. A huge dirt patch dedicated to mountain bikes. Loud big egos. No sharing the path. Nothing for those of us that want to walk in nature. A shame. Had so much to offer regarding wildlife enjoyment...

Absolutely beautiful, close access and easy reconnection to the road. I did however slip and injure myself badly on the gravelly steep slope so be careful of that!

Honestly ridiculously beautiful, one of my favourite ever walks 🫶

Great trails with a good range of different tracks that have different levels of difficulty

Also called Perth Hills.Super views of Perth skyline.Beautiful houses among serene atmosphere.Chances of spotting wildlife too.

We only did the 4.5km beginning track but i am looking forward to going back for longer tracks and getting a little lost in nature! There's a good mixture of hills, flats, rocky and dirt trails. I recommend hiking shoes to protect your ankles.

Lovely place. Have to get helicopter flights from Coffs Harbour. The island is a national park

Beautiful driving experience and lots of curve and narrow road. Be safe to drive.
Safe for cycling and beautiful walk alongside the bush.
Free Rock climbing access for experts as the rock site is quite steep and very high.
Be safe while taking photographs as there is no handrails to hold.
Enjoy the scene of the Perth city and so many smaller rocks to climb if you are looking to take TikTok or YouTube videos.

Amazing sweeping sweeping views of the areas below. The zig zag makes for a good drive on a day out, stopping along the way and you can get a good workout walking the trails. It is a very good workout as the trails aren't sealed pathways, just bush tracks so I'd advise you to have appropriate footwear and take water with you too. The native bush lands are full of wonder so take it slow or you could miss something. Be respectful of these ancient lands too, the beauty they have to offer is special and unlike any other places on earth.

A fisherman’s paradise as long as your fishing 🎣 in the allowed area of the island, read the weather before you head out. I’m informed that you’re not allowed to step onto the island.

We wanted a quick morning hike that was close to our location so we went on All Trails and found an awesome 10km rim walk, we didn’t even know this National Park was here . It was surprisingly a lovely hike that was well maintained and moderate, excellent views in some locations with the view of the city, would definitely do this again. It also had some hard hills which made for a good workout.

We thought this would be ok for walking trails. But really it's setup for off road bike use. Most of the trails seem to be too rough for safe walking and hiking. Plus you need to watch out for very fast bikes. Not too good for views either. Saw one Kangaroo.

Great diving spot

Great little reserve of parkland. Adjoining a playground for the kids as well.

Great place for a little bush walk. Quiet and peaceful. We can go in from the next park, Keith Dudman Park.

Some old trees with hollows providing shelter for Native animals, cool and pleasurable walk

Also known as the Zig Zag (closed to vehicles u til end of June 2020), is another spectacular opportunity to view the Perth city skyline and watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean. Take a picnic dinner and get there early to find the perfect spot.

Great place to walk your dog

Beautiful area, with around 8 different trails and difficulty levels, worth the trip but be warned that traffic and parking is difficult, you will likely have to search around for a spot away from the main parking areas unless you luck out. I wandered around pretty aimlessly and didn’t follow standard trails and found it peaceful and relaxing.

Have never been there as helicopter is the only way apparently. But I can see the island from my kitchen window and the light of the lighthouse at night is a comfort.

Really good position next to national park and has beautiful garden. Very well appionted for such an old style cozy place. Will be returning because of the beautiful ambience and very good value. Owner very helpful supplying many food necessities as well. Springbrook has a lot to offer for the nature lover and cool mountain streams. Plenty of eateries to choose from. Flat ground and all on one level ideal for senior people(wheely walkers)

Fantastic location to snorkel or dive. Jetty Dive is the best option to access the great marine park.

An amazing place to go diving. Check out my video from my recent dive there on their fb page. So diverse from big to small.
