It's small & lovely, it has lovely community gardens and views
It's a membership club where you can have a small veggie garden. in a shed, there are basic tools, and wheel barrows for use by every member. You can also make a coffee or tea there. Members are very friendly and support each other with their knowledge and help. Fantastic environment and excellent atmosphere.
Check the weekly playgroups, they are lovely. Big kuddos to Heidi that runs the Tuesdays one! She’s amazing and the kids love to play and get dirty. Beautiful excuse to be around nature and lovely environment. Highly recommend it.
What a beautiful atmosphere.

Great group of people. Loved the garden.
Much more than a community garden. Next craft event is the 28th of October starting at 10am - $5 all equipment and training provided. Bring your kids and make a fun ornament! 😃
A warm and welcoming community! I felt right at home!
Amazing community of people, most beautiful culture. Meet at 9am till afternoon every Friday. So glad I came along :)
If you love gardening and want to join a community garden this place is wonderful. Is open and accepting and a great place to be in touch with nature. You do need to register to become a member as it's not open to walk in public.
Well organised garden and friendly community.
Very cute and a welcome addition to the gardens
I had long toes
One of the friendliest places on the GC
Good for family gardening. I love 💘 that
Great people and space to do all things garden and social
This place is welcoming and relaxing. The members are friendly and they have interesting projects on the go. First appearance is overgrown but a few more members helping would sort that out.
Unusual to see this in a park.

Part of it converted to a public gardening patch with a chicken coop included. Tended purely by local residents.

I'm a member of this delightful community garden which meets every Sunday. We just got chickens in March which are a big draw. Unfortunately the public toilets aren't kept clean so I wouldn't recommend using them.
Access from Brady drive, the sign says open 7am to 10am Sundays
Excellent gardening group. Knowledgeable and helpful.
Friendly community garden.
I saw the sunflowers on the corner while driving past and had to stop to take photos. When I discovered this was a community garden my heart soared. This is a beautiful place with wonderful energy. Community at its finest.
Secluded spot
Loved coming here for wonderous activities all involving growing something! Totally worth the visit.
A great community garden, well maintained and organised. Lots of veggies growing.
Very good community garden facility. Plots available to rent. Healthy plants. Good quality soil. Aquaponic set-up.
Great place for a picnic and also great photo taking opportunity
I was here for a car show and it is a great venue. It also appears to have lots of activities for kids and a variety of small shops
Pleasant surprise. Hidden away. Great community garden.
A beautiful place with many of our winged friends. Certainly a place to reflect on what is life, and our purpose here on earth
I think it's a little untidy up the front. I wouldn't like to live across from there. Caretaker is a nice lady.
awesome place to go walking
I admire, the history of this place it is amazing how you can even have the determination to go and fly a plane when you have never before it's a great thing to do even though I haven't seen it but that picture with the plane and seeing it it just looked amazing so just be nice and high not that high you know what I'm saying great place though enjoy yourself I recommend it give it a shot
One of pure delight and peace this place beings every time I'm there and cannot wait til I get my veggie bed 🥕🍓🥒🍅🍆
peacefull place of serenity:)
Do not visit this place! I went to this park one day with some friends. I wasn't down at the community garden section of the park (which as far as I am aware is public), I was up the top of the hill (public park). Some crazy old woman called the police and council on me and my friends for apparently 'trespassing on private property' which was a public park. The police thank goodness rectified the situation and it was established that the old woman was senile and demented. Don't visit this place unless you want to hang out with cranky, senile people which like calling the police on a few kids.
Great place to go to spend time and relax and enjoy the outdoors
I had a lovely relaxing time here with my family while we all had a bbq.
Had a lovely timr
Great place to relax, socialise and garden
Absolutely love this place. I became a social member because my kids enjoyed it so much and wanted to help with the gardens. All the people are friendly and include my 9 and 2 year old gladly. No place better.
Great location at the Piney Lakes reserve at Winthrop suburb. Very friendly & helpful for all the gardeners. Learning the gardening skills and sharing the knowledge to me.

They are growing most organic produces in individual plot or communal area such as Silverbeet, pumpkin, sweet potato... and eat healthy. A few fruit trees such as banana, citrus, apple, lemon, peach...
Well worth the visit. Nice helpful people and an interesting aquaponic setup. They get together for morning tea on Saturdays.
Wish I could get plot here
