Fantastic tomatoes - Bellarine hydroponics. Flavour... from last weekend.
This is a lovely, fresh little market with lots of potential. I attend most Saturdays. I would like to see the seating/table format change a bit though, especially for people without children and/or dogs. Most of the seating and tables seem to be always occupied by kids and family's belongings with no-one there. Lots of unsupervised toddlers running around with semi-supervised dogs. Recently, l couldn't find a table to eat my yummy but messy meal, so I sat on the grass. My food shopping (including pies) was promptly trodden on by some 2-3 year olds chasing each other. We also saw an older gentleman intervene when a toddler threw a toy at a very annoyed dog when no adults were in sight
Good place to get a fresh veggies and local food
No parking anywhere. We parked behind a long line of cars on a side street, went into the market for an hour, came out and every car had a parking ticket on the windscreen. There's no reason to have no parking on Sunday 9-12 unless you are targeting market patrons. $93 fine for that, it's not like we were blocking a driveway. If you hold a community event, you do not target said community. Spent over a hundred dollars today but I will never be back, due to how the council treats market goers.
Edit; it's not your responsibility, however it IS a facet of attending your market. You do not provide anywhere near enough parking and as such, the ticket inspectors prowl the streets while the markets are on. Therefore it is a valid review.

We arrived quite late so there wasn't much available, but the things that we did get were all good quality
It was our first time coming here, we really loved the atmosphere knowing we are helping farmers etc... are getting great produce. I'm really enjoying my honey 🍯 that I hot from 3 🐝 bees. Too die for... 😋
We decided to head to this market for a Sunday outing. Entry to the market is by donation. It turned out to be pretty good as there were quite a few vendors selling their own produces. I must say the stuffs are not that cheap but given its organic nature probably worth the extra bucks. There are fresh veggies, pickles, sauces, pasta, bread, eggs, flowers and even meats for sale. Also, quite a few food trucks are selling snacks too. A pleasant outing indeed.
The markets glory days are well and truly over but a small bargain could be found.
The WillowZen open pasture eggs are unbelievable. You can taste the difference and they are so fresh - laid yesterday.

Although it’s only a small produce market, it always has a fantastic selection of super-friendly vendors. It’s well worth the stroll down on a Sunday. Although they are not there every week, the Pastrami Croissants from To Be Frank are the best!

I was very happy to be able to eat Okinawan food on the Gold Coast, having traveled to OKINAWA a few years ago. The food tasted great and I would definitely repeat the experience. I would definitely recommend Okinawa Taco Brothers to everyone.
This is the quintessential Sydney neighbourhood market. Good times to be had for snack enthusiasts, great for the weekly f&v shop, decent coffee & a great patch of unmanicured grass for deprived inner city littles who mostly have concrete postage stamps for backyards. This isn't a craft/fashion market, though there is a small but good second hand clothing stall, a great second hand book stall & some speciality products like small batch honey, olive oil, etc. Oh and an ethical butcher.
Nice markets with some nice stalls. Reason for my rating was for the negative experience I had with the arrogant jumping castle stall holder, his unhygienic inflatable and for his rules of not letting parents on the inflatable. I feel if a child starts crying then it should be okay for their parent to at least get on and get them to stop being upset or get them off. Would definitely not recommend. Other then that wonderful time and experienced great customer service from the other stall holders.

Fantastic monthly farmers market, everything the family needs for the week, life music fresh coffee, all sorts of fresh and prepared produce food, snacks, cleaning detergents, pet treats and knife sharpening...
The market is a lot smaller than I anticipated. However, it's obvious plenty of locals visit here especially for the fresh fruit and vegies. If you become a member, which costs about $65 a year, I believe you get 10% discount off everything.

Best Agadashi Tofu from Healthy Pulse!! Love the activated seeds and nuts stall (Can anyone tell me the name of this business?), and the Buchi kombucha is amazing!
It was as very hard to access into the car park as so many one way roads there. It was extremely hot day and I worry about the food and safety of prepared food on the tables in stalls. I bought a pineapple which was totally off when I cut at home. My bag was leaking with pineapple juice. Watermelon was so soft and no taste at all. I tried to support local market but unfortunately there were not eatable. There were many vegetable shops. I wanted to see more variety of shops.
More a food market than a fruit and vegetable market. Fruit and vegetable prices are too high. Hard to find any good deals unless its close to closing time, and some vendors will discount their stock. Will not go back in any hurry. Pity it used to be a much better market.
As a regular market goer , I attended my last ever market at Brighton last year , after 21 years sadly I will never be returning. The decision to keep the market in the carpark, has drastically reduced the number of stores down to 85, when there were often 200 stalls and has reduced the variety of goods for sale. This used to be a very large second hand market with a large vatiety of clothing, books, household items, plants records cds and dvds etc, but now it is focused mainly on food. A large number of the reduced amount of stalls as can be seen by photos included on the website are food related.
It is no longer worth the time the money or the effort to be a buyeror seller. A full morning of browsing at used goods and talking to stall holders has now been reduced to about hour then everything is looked at.
This is a very sad end to what used to be a great morning of buying and selling. Last year the lions food truck left, many regular buyers and sellers are refusing to return , soon the only .market if this sort left in Adelaide will be the christies beach market, which has greatly improved in size and variety as people are finding some wher other than Brighton.
This is not having a go at the volunteers, they fo a great job in reduced circumstances with what they are know allowed to do, this is just an honest opinion to let people know, that if you are looking for a mornings entertainment , browsing through used goods at a market, this is no longer the place to go, and the reason the oval is closed to the market does not matter, I am talking about thesad and unnecessary decline and deterioration of the market. Don't waste your time, find somewhere else to go, or sell online , it is obvious that this school no longer requires the funds raised by the market. They have happily cut their profits in half at most markets.

I love all the fresh farmers food you can buy here, and there is also a great arts and craft section there as well.

Great place for the kids too, given it is located at the Burleigh primary school. Lots of play equipment for the kids to make a morning of it.

Would good if there were more stall holders and variety. You’re asked for a “voluntary donation” which isn’t worth it for the market or the evil eyes I saw one lady get for it donating. Wouldn’t waste your time here.

The North Essendon Farmer’s Market is a must-visit for a lively Sunday outing. The market is huge with an awesome crowd and offers delicious bakeries, hot foods, fresh fruits, and gorgeous flowers. Unique vendors like Bug Weather stall sell hand-crafted flowers and soaps, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Perfect for locals and visitors alike.
Do not buy a chai latte at the coffee shop after a long wait it tasted very bland I had to hand it back , waste of money I do not recommend . However the fruit and veg is very nice .
It is a small market but lovely selection of fresh produce and a lovely seating area under the trees. We had the Indonesian food which was absolutely amazing. The beef rendang was outstanding. Lovely to see it was dog friendly.

First time there Saturday 16.9 and was very disappointed only about 15 stall holders - vegetables, olive oil, jams, Gin, pies, pate, gozlemes, flowers, nuts, juice, and that's about it. No coffee cart! I know a Melbourne market without coffee (or that other perennial favourite - donuts). So yes great to support local producers and yes great its there but just for me, lacked something.
Nothing to tell much, you guys should go and feel it.

Overall, I'd call this a small but very well-formed market. It's definitely worth a visit. It reminds me a bit of Orange Grove market in Sydney, just a lot smaller. I think that's because it's on the school grounds.

Wow! I'd never been to the Bayside Farmers Market but so glad I did - I sampled heaps and brought so much, in fact enough food for next 3 days for husband and myself. Pretzels, (3 cheese and jalapeno and cheese), jam donuts, mandarins, olive bread, brownies, baklava, and peanut brittle. And I brought for others, cookies, condiment gift pack and a box of crostoli. I also enjoyed there a decaf soy latte and a delicious light and fluffy scone with jam and cream. You can also buy eggs, honey, peanut butter and assorted vegetables. So if you haven't been definitely check it out, but bring an empty shopping bag and an empty stomach! Note it's not just food you can buy natural skin items, candles, wooden serving trays, flowers and if I saw correctly, a van where you can get your tools sharpened.
bought a bunch of super sweet and tasty organic grapes here fr only $4! this is a rather small farmers market in the neighbourhood which is nice to visit and hang around if you’re in the area but might not worth the trip if you’re travelling from a distance since there are heaps of other bigger markets in town.
One of the best fresh food markets on the Gold Coast. Ampule parking close to market and so much space to set up a picnic or just sit by the water and enjoy some tasty market food! Dogs are allowed but not in the market area.
I love going to these markets every Sunday. Fresh fruit & veg. Freshly baked bread selections. The coffee from the three sons coffee cartel is the best. Plus, the options for breakfast are many & hard to choose from.

Love the market on a Saturday morn. Start with the parkrun around the corner at 8am and then head to the markets after for a delicious Brother Bear coffee, a Melbourne dim sim, sourdough and apples. Best way to start the weekend sitting in the sun and enjoying the live music.
Lunchtime at the Hota Markets with the family. We had authentic German sausage with sauerkraut in a hotdog bun and Dutch donuts.

My first time at this market, and I am very impressed with the number of stalls/sellers. The selection is huge. A big thanks to the organisers. I will be back, even though it's a little out of the way for me. But it's worth it.
Great little farmers market. Friendly people and a gold coin donation for entry going to charity. Not just fruit and veg. Gluten free and vegan options too. And the bakers stall looks amazing! I did buy some vegan GF biscotti biscuits. Which are bloody amazing. Also a kiwiberry stall which I didn’t know this fruit existed and they were so yummy. Will be back

Google maps shows it opens Sunday 9:00-13:00. But when I comes (19 Feb 2023, 10:30 am), nothing at all.
Lovely Market but direct Fresh veggies , cereals , bakery, honey, strawberries so much to buy and stock up on. Great atmosphere to walk around with our dog and fabulous talented sings with music echoing through the market. Run by the awesome people from Rotary of Sandringham. Definitely a lovely farmers market to visit.

My favourite market on the coast. Produce is always the most delicious & healthiest on the Gold Coast and I love the fact everything is Certified Organic. It's the one place I can eat and when I get home I feel nourished rather than with a pain in my stomach. I miss this place when I travel

And it appears that other reviewers have encountered angry people there so suggest that a sensible person would find another place to shop. This is not a real growers market like the ones in country towns. It's just a business on school ground trying to give the idea that its a community market, its not that in my opinion. It was dangerous for me when I went there.

This is a small farm market, very warm and friendly, there is also a group concert that day, the atmosphere is really great, I like people who are so focused on doing things!
Great place for local foods. Opens at 6am Sunday in the HOTA carpark in Gold Coast. Good variety of local veges, fruits, fresh meat, fish, oysters, processed meat, bread, jams, ice-cream, flowers even gin and other local produce. Also has a sizeable choice of cooked food from different countries eg pizza, Moroccan, , Hungarian, Filipino, French dishes, smoked salmon, Asian plates, etc. In particular, check out the fresh produce large stall as you enter the market (see photo) where most of the veges and fruits are grown by My and her family. The pie / sausage roll shop (see photo) near the seating area and newspaper stand sells the best meat pies there, and there is a stand that sells only blueberries and raspberries - amazing blueberries. Good to walk around and have a look and if you want to rest or eat the food, the Art centre has plenty of park area, benches. Best to go bright and early as it does get pretty busy, things get sold out and the weather gets quite hot later on in the day.

Nice little market. Not as big as my favourite market (Stirling) but still a nice selection of sellers including fresh produce, food and drinks for lunch/breakfast, plants, clothes, crafts, other food. They also had an aboriginal dance and presentation which was quite good. Nice location with plenty of parking around, grass area with shade, chairs and tables for sitting (limited).

Great little Sunday hangout for the Inner West foodies. Under some spectacular tree shade with narrow road space, there are plenty of fresh food and veggies stalls. Also bread and spice stalls but love the variety of hot food stalls that makes this a great spot to munch and feast at. It can get busy and the stalls snakes up the back of the carpark but they have plenty of space and young family friendly.

This should be a dog market that people also attend. So many great pooches and some brilliant produce. Maybe some more food options for breakfast but I had some of the nicest calamari I've ever had. Yum! 😋

Lots and lots of unhappy people today, they parked for hours and didn't get in, one poor couple came from Mount Barker at 4am. These stall holders and buyers who have been coming for years have funded the music students with big $$$ for their programs. At least give more notice that the ovals are unavailable 😠 if your using the back for cricket why can you open the front oval?

I had my SP stall at Brighton Sunday Market. The Brighton Sunday Market is a great place to have a stall and to spend your Sunday shopping-open-air and relaxed atmosphere.

It’s nice local farmers market! Very peaceful and happy place! There is always have some event! One day I joined Miso workshop, it was really fun and class teacher Saeko was so professional! She has Miso stall in the market sometimes and it’s very healthy and delicious! I love her Miso! Today there is Chef Gerry Mai and cooking Banh mi! It was soooo delicious!

Great range of fresh produce!
My favourite stall is the Uplands Farm stall. The honey is out of this world delicious. It’s biodynamic not just organic. When in season their blueberry are awesome too. They sell bees wax candles, root vegetables and a selection of other seasonal vegetables and fruits. The farmers are a beautiful couple who are outstanding Aussie farmers. They are friendly and are a wealth of wisdom.
There are also plenty of other great stalls where you can get fresh eggs, fragrant herbs, vegetables, fruit, sourdough bread, coffee, and spring water.
Parking is always a breeze. It’s a great way to start a Sunday morning and get food for the week ahead.

Small but interesting farmers market with a wide range of goods including veges, potatoes,mushrooms, meat and poultry, dairies, garlic, eggs, gin and flowers. We go every month to stock up on fresh produce.

Good options and its all organic whoch is why the prices can be more expensive. I love the vegan almond croissant SOL breads has though
Great range of food, everyone is super chilled. $3 parking but its pretty hectic! Highly recommend Brooklyn Bagel Boys! We got poppy seed + garlic scallion cream cheese! Mister Toastie was a great one too! Proper grilled cheeses! Natas were warm and flaky! Quite a pricey market but you are getting what you pay for!

Hands down the best farmers market in Melbourne. Everything you could ever want or desire is there. Sweet, savory or sour, perfection. Fantastic bayside location, couldn't ask for more!

Small market but lots of friendly stall holders. Parking in the street adjacent is a challenge but if the weather is nice there is no reason why you couldn't enjoy the walk and park a bit further.

Great Farmers Market. Easy parking. Loads of stalls. Amazing bread from Elwood
Awesome little local market for bric-a-brac and produce combined. Less fancy than the ones in the CBD and more focused on second hand goods. Having said that- I do see quite a lot of kitchenware still in original packaging for sale, and sale items such as those you'd see from liquidation sales at grey's online.
