The worst zoo / animal encounter I've ever been to. You'd see more animals in a pet shop. Long walk from car park to them feels like 2 ks. Once you get there some negative old ladies run the place where bitching about a staff member outside taking to long while they sat on there ass. Poorly laid out with no clear path or track that tells a story. Kinda open but nothing in it and small. Literally only had 2 ducks, a kangaroo and 7 thousand koralas. Should reduce the koralas space by 80% and get some other animals. Food looked not inviting. A lady opened a fence on a horse as a show and we walked out. I was negative driving to it because there websites got nothing to show you they got because they don't have anything. Needs way more variates of animals. Arrows on ground to show you how to see the whole park. I come from a hobby farm and wasn't impressed. Get some capybaras. Do not go. Don't waste your day time or money. Worst hour of my life. I think it's just an add on to the sea world pass to chardge more and cash grab with no thought or effort or passion. Needs a good million or 5 spend on it to make it the best in Australia but it's the worst. If the parent company dosent want to invest in It or make it exciting just shut it down. Could make it way more flashy. Why not make the world's biggest sign on the hill behind the parks showing it off so it's got a wow factor like sea world movie world dream world has etc.

You want to probly move the walk in building 1k up the road to car park and fill that area in with some excitement. There could be potential but to me the place is on life support. The entire experience needs to be overhauled. Driving in. Everything and leaving. Nearly everywhere could use improvement.

Great buffet dinner on Friday night. Really good spot for kids, plenty of room and easy seating at large tables. Fantastic value.
Absolute cracker of a joint for the kids, great camping out back, staff out in the park are wonderful, animals are super friendly and there's plenty to do for the kids

Only negative, staff on duty during breakfast need to cheer up, super short and rude in the way they deal with people, hot topic around the camp ground, clearly not morning people. Wasn't a once off, every morning was the same,

I highly recommend a visit to this venue. It's wonderful to interact with and pet the kangaroos. The shows were enjoyable for the children, and they also offered a delightful tractor ride around the farm.

This place is a tourist trap. Save your money.

Long walk from the car park to the entrance

An eye-watering $54 entry fee for adults

Many attractions, gift shops, and cafes that aren't free and placed strategically to ensure maximum pester-power from children

Cheap tie-in with Shaun the Sheep from Wallace and Grommit

Overall the park is quite small for what you're getting. There are much cheaper places to visit where you can see Australian animals.

I feel like it's set up to wring every last possible cent from gullible international visitors

A shady drive to the back of Movie World/Wet and Wild, poor parking facilities with uneven gravel and rope dividers, and then a small hike to arrive at Paradise Country. The farm animal nursery was good our son loved the goats, chickens, and water play area but that was kind of it. The tractor carriage ride was very underwhelming, less than 2 minutes round trip. You have to pay extra to do gold mining, opal mining, and ride a pony. No dingos or marmosets at this time. There was also only a few kangaroos to pat as most were in the resting area so everyone was competing for them which meant you didn't get long to see them, and it was not very busy. The Shaun the Sheep show was good but only ran for around 10 minutes, didn't get an opportunity to catch other shows today. Koalas are koalas, meerkats are always energetic and entertaining for the kids, a few sad cows, sheep, horse and donkey to be seen from a distance. Aside from that, zero else to do. We would be super disappointed if we had just paid for a day visit here. Plenty of potential.. must be time for improvements.

1st time there today & we all had a Fantastic time. Restaurant had delicious food at very reasonable prices for the size of the meals. Animals were so cute.

Especially enjoyed the free shuttle bus between paradise country & movie world wanted to share a pic of driver and bus but can't seem to be able to add a pic.

The experience we had here was fantastic, the animals are amazing and the shows are engaging and fun. Children are clearly the focus of this place, and adults are well catered for as well. We will definitely be returning and staying a couple of nights with friends. Thanks to the team of amazing people who run this place.
Stayed on a powered site with caravan. Found the powered sites to be a bit close together considering it is a station stay and would probably choose unpowered next time as more space. Ablutions clean and tidy and great condition, good camp kitchen. Hosts Kelly and Garry were great and enjoyed the painted desert tour

My partner and I had an awesome stay at Nambung Station Stay. The Pinnacles tour is an absolute must. Very peaceful out there. A real highlight was Brian playing music by the campfire.
Will definitely be back!

Gary and Kelly are one of the best hosts we have come across, the place is 10 out of 10 just what you need to get out of the rat race , clean amenities, water , power , camp fire when weather permits. Kids running freely and playing not on the tablets or gaming doing what kids should be doing. Animal feeding for the young ones and the tour Gary and Kelly takes you on in the painted desert is the bomb will be back great job guys . Neil and Sharon ,NSW

Katie and Max are fantastic hosts, the Nature Lodge was clean and well maintained. It’s close enough to both Colac and Apollo Bay, and has its very own bush trail to the nearby Creek (it’s a steep walk, but worth the exercise to explore). Will definitely be visiting again.
My husband and I went to this amazing place this holiday, camping for two days with our tent and the experience was incredible.

There are great toilets with hot shower, separate from female and male. There is a common kitchen with microwave, freezer and barbecue. Sheep, cows and many other animals are there and they are lovely. The landscape is breathtaking during the sunset!

At night you can see the stars and if you are with your tent, maybe you can feel more the wind, so just bring your blankets and you'll be fine. Usually tents are without cover and are further away from trees. There is a hay protection that helps against the wind. The terrain is grassy, which is perfect for setting the tent on the ground.

The place is a little far from the tourist attractions and the road to the station is dirt, but we have a regular car and everything went well.

It was much more than we were expecting, we really recommend!!! Some photos that we took.

We enjoyed staying at the camping ground because it's so quiet, the animals are lovely and the owners are very friendly.
The tour they offer is simply amazing! It's a private pinnacles tour to the painted desert with no public access. We saw emus, kangaroos, turtles and of course a lot of cows. Really recommendable!

A fantastic place with amazing views. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Open fireplace, balcony. Close to Lake Elizabeth and Apollo Bay.
Fantastic place, very clean amenities and accomodation.

We stayed in an on-site van but the camping sites looked great too. We would definitely love to return with the camper trailer one day!

Amazing hosts, friendly, down to earth and nothing was too much trouble.

The Painted Desert tour was well worth the time and is highly recommended!

If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful and fair dinkum station farm experience, this place is well worth travelling to!

Don’t forget the marshmallows for the kids to roast by the campfire 🔥

Thank you Vera and Paul for taking the time to make our overnight stay a 5 star experience!

What an incredible place! Whether for a quiet solo getaway, or a weekend away with mates, this is the spot! The view as you drive around the bend is just breathtaking. The gardens are gorgeous, the walking tracks and the waterfalls close by. Max is the most generous of hosts! Can't wait to come back!

This place is lit, has such a sweet vibe. There’s heaps of kookaburras and ferns and stuff around if you like that sort of thing. The accommodation is very homely and relaxing. Great views and walking tracks. Would recommend.

Top Of The Otways is a perfect escape. Set amongst lush green forrest and rolling hills, you’ll enjoy peace and quiet with the option to venture out and visit local waterfalls and restaurants, or stay in and keep cosy. The hosts are beautiful and there’s chickens and goats to feed! Dog friendly. Highly recommend.
