Small international airport with two terminals. 1 is older than the other. As it's small no queues for passport or security control. Toilets are old and not as clean as you would expect. Good range of stores at reasonable prices.
Got delayed not much to do the border lady seem nice. Very bored. Typing this as I have still 2 hours until my plane even gets here. I’m bored. However Bulgaria seems nice would come again in a private jet
Small but fast airport. It offers enough places to sit and several small restaurants. The food is good and prices are fair. I was here six times and always had good experiences.
The airport would be better with at least some place to eat something serious. The best you have here is Costa coffee and the food isn't any good there.

Overall, it's clean, quiet and rarely crowded. And the metro station is just a few steps away, so you can get to the city for a fraction of the taxi price.
Terminal 1: Small terminal - Wizz Air departs/lands here. A couple of cafes (sandwiches, wraps, croissants etc and sometimes pizzas), small souvenir shops (fridge magnets, traditional table cloths, various rose essence condiments, Bulgarian honey, Bulgarian delight etc etc), duty free (inc. traditional Bulgarian liquor such as rekia), and gates. Fairly quick entry/Immigration and security check due to less traffic. More like a domestic terminal than an international one!
Clean but old fashioned airport and not huge. Security was quick.

You can take train from airport to city centre but it doesn't work after 12:00 midnight. Taxis are available easily, so when we arrived (our flight was late) there was no train service and we took taxi to our hotel. Very basic food options are available in departure lounge.
A small & Good airport with fast service.
Cafe and restaurants are available.
1hr is sufficient to catch the flight ✈️. Immigration officials were really cool 😎. It’s one of the good airport in Europe.
It was an okay experience. The flight was delayed a bit, no explanation as to why. The airport had decent facilities. Had to go to the check-in desk even though we had boarding cards and only carry-on luggage. I’m not certain if that was because of the airport or the airline.
Great airport. Really enjoyed my visit. Seems like a pretty new terminal. Plenty of restaurants. Easy access to the metro station. Bus stops right out in front of terminal 2. Check in and security was easy.
A pleasant experience in Sofia Airport. The airport is clean not too big. The arrival passport control was not too long and friendly officers were on duty. Some officers in another countries/airports can be quite strict and unfriendly but different experience here. The airport has some good choices of duty free choices and eateries. Connection to Sofia city center is good and reliable. Taxi is also available if you arrive late at night but make sure you ask for the price first before getting in.
Decent but very basic little airport (but with some VERY unfriendly security staff). Plenty of space and many chairs have charging points which is useful. Remote bus gates seem pointless when they have so many air bridges.
