Good flavours and kind service. The food servings are large, so be prepared to share or take home leftovers. The price is affordable given quality and quantity. The ambience was nice, quiet, and overall quaint. Good for a family dinner.

If you want authentic southern Chinese food, I think this place you'll enjoy. The hofan noodles are great, the fish dishes were amazing and everything we ordered was really, really good. It gets crowded so show up early and the only bad thing about this place is that they only accept cash! yup, you heard it right. They don't want to pay taxes or high interest credit card charges so they only accept mula. But the food is really good.

Tourist trap!
We went for a late lunch. Service was a bit slow and the food took a long time to arrive. Kids’ dishes arrived at the end, which is never ideal. Food quality was decent, and wide ranges of choices from the menu.
Food is average with generous portions, service is bad, the time I went the ordering system was down and took an hour to serve.

Good food at a very reasonable price.
They allow bringing your own wine and don't charge service or any extras (including tip)
Food wasn’t great and the service is super slow and not attentive at all . Also you can’t pay with credit cards only by pix . But the problem is you have to connect to Wi-Fi to pay because of no signal inside . Unpleasant experience

Honestly, I don't leave many places I visit, but this one I did. You might have a much better experience at the one in Liberdade** The chairs were super moldy/dusty and, even though we left quickly, they made our legs swell and itch. The menu was ancient, had a bunch of old polaroids made it worse. Every dish was like R$50-60+, muito rico/expensive. They only accept cash or maybe debit as well!! This place seems outdated as hell and I believe the stories about the cockroaches.
A great chinese restaurant, with awesome prices!

The food's really good, the prices are great, and the portions serve (WELL!) 2 or 3 people.

Personally I love their gyozas and yakisoba, I recommend it.

The place is simple, but it's big, and they stay open till a bit later, compared to other restaurants in the area.

Usually you'll have to wait to be served, since there's usually lines, but if you get there when they open, or on less busy days, you won't have to wait a lot (I never waited more than ~30 minutes on line).

Amazing fried chicken, wonton soup, everything delicious and very friendly staff.
This restaurant only accepts debit card, no credit card accepted.

The food is good, with large portion, best to come with friend. It is a little salty for my taste so I will ask the waiter to prepare the dish that is less salty next time.

The service is a little slow even though there were many staff but they are quite busy so expect to wait

One of the best options for Chinese food in São Paulo. The service is pretty good, the chef even came to the table to explain us about the dishes. Most of the dishes serve 2-3 people. If you like Chinese food you must visit the place.

Perfeito! 1.000 estrelas!

An awesome place. Recently renovated and is well maintained. I loved the menu written in Traditional Chinese.
Great dishes with nice portion and is very delicious.
Professional sealed packing that reflects the quality of this restaurant.
I will revisit this place as it's one of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Brazil.
Good food but the review is made with a full experience and in this subject the customer service in Chi Fu is the worst I have experienced in my life, the stars are for the food only.
Nice fresh salmon, tuna and white fish were not so fresh.
On the hot dishes some of them looked kinda rushed, maybe because the restaurant was full.

Not much to say average nice sushi 👍
(Little bit price, but it's in the average price on that neighborhood)
Amazing! The line is huge (and somewhat disorganised and confusing), the menu is a confusing mess, but the food is outstanding. The restaurant was packed - at 3 PM. Waiters run non-stop, and the service will be slow… but it is worth it. The portions are huge - enough to feed 3 people. I ate with a friend with a big appetite, and we took a doggy bag home.
We ordered the guioza and the seafood bifum with curry - both were amazing. The pork guioza was crispy juicy and the skin was super thin. The seafood bifum was outstanding. Seafood was super soft - not rubbery at all. The curry is slightly spicy, but not overwhelming, and the noodles are cooked to perfection.

We paid 130 BRL for our meal - and had leftovers to take home. I wish the portions weee actually smaller so we could sample more of the food!

I got the Yakisoba special on Sunday on Uber eats which was buy one get one free. The amount/quantity of the food was plentiful but the taste/quality was bad. I had throw most of the food away because the vegetable the meats turn into jelly with no flavor. I'm sorry but there are Yakisoba in the area the quality and taste are much better. I have not tried anything else on the menu but I know that the Yakisoba special 2 for 1 its bad.

First time at this restaurant. I went on a sunday and it was pretty crowded, had to wait a little bit for a table and it was reasonable. As my first time I ended up getting the rodizio all you can eat sushi (limited) which it was fresh and good but like I said the place was crowded so to order a second round of food was stressing and took forever. I would definitely go again but to try a la carte dishes.

Ordered food from this place and was impressed with the taste of Chinese food in Sao Paulo
Recommend this place to try for good Chinese food
Only take out.
Incredible good food restaurant in Liberdade neighborhood in SP. The menu is impressively big, more than 100 dishes. The flavor of the food is good, the place is clean, and service is fast. The dishes are huge so that for some options, one dish feeds 4. This makes the restaurant very cheap because you will split one dish in three/four people. The steam made dumpling is amazing.

Value 4/5: good food with ok prices

Service 4/5: the sao paulo curse service is ok, like in most places in the city where service is mediocre at best.

the place is a tipical Chinese restaurant. the food is great, cheap and well served. the bad points are: you smell like frying and they doesn't accept credit card, only debit or money.
Excellent ambience and very attentive waiters. Food is really authentic - especially recommended is their Japanese Curry

Typical Chinese restaurant with a long list of dishes well and not-so-well known, but all of them very tasty (at least the ones I've tried in the 20, 25 times I've been there). Huge portions, fair prices. Staff mood goes from grumpy to rude, they won't talk to you beyond the menu and orders, so don't ask about any of the statues or paintings in the decor. They clam up, then.
They put on the door they accept credit card, but when we went to pay they said they only accept debit card. They tried to tell me I could go to a bank but I told them (In portuguese) we went because the door said they accept credit card. After that she said ok ok, but with 5% extra. I was tired of arguing and agreed. Terrible experience. The food is average, service is terrible.
Great food. Day specials are affordable. Regular portions are big and good for two.

Tasty Japanese food. Just a la carte. Good service. The portions are for 2 people.
Traditional food and dim sum on weekends are excellent!! Just not a fancy restaurant
This is not your everyday Japanese restaurant. The dishes are traditional and delicious. Table service is great. Try the special teishoku and the Yakisoba.

I simply love this place. It has the best Chinese food in the whole of SP. Period. The variety, the option, the taste, the pricing, the staff, everything is so beautiful. I love this place especially cause it offers me a variety to my regular meals. I would recommend this place for groups but I would suggest you go in a minimum group of 4,anything less will be a waste cause of the sheer quantity they serve per dish. Try everything, it is that good. If you want to know what to order the first time then msg me
Awesome tradicional chinese food restaurant, great price, good servings and options. The place is not fancy but it's a true experience
All-you-can eat high-quality hotpot (火锅) is the house strength. Xiao long bao is also very good. Extremely authentic place with mostly Chinese customers. Service is not fantastic.
Good place to eat dumplings. Cash or debit only. Fair prices and good taste. Chinese service is ok. I would go there again for those dumplings.

YOU CAN'T PAY WITH CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS, BRING CASH (they also take checks)!! This is a good restaurant with a very ornate, plush decor and efficient if somewhat brusque staff. They serve your food onto a Lazy Susan in the center of the table, but be forewarned you may be seated at a table with strangers, so you might want to try somewhere else if you're not in the mood for making friends. The menu is pretty extensive and the food was great.

Excellent Chinese restaurant !
The attendants are nice and kind, and the food was delivered very quickly !
The portions are huge so, dont go there if you are alone !
My preferred dish is Mapo Tofu, very spicy and tasty !
Great staff, big portions, unfortunately the place is small at Caramuru.
It is a typical Chinese Restaurant in Liberdade. As a typical Chinese restaurant it is crowded, sometimes loud and almost always alive! The menu is rather confusing because it does not show dishes separated by variety. Rather it's a confusing randomness. However your waiter is your savior and you shall ask him for his advice. There is also a live demonstration of "noodle making" at the back. PS. The bathrooms can be much better, much cleaner.
Authentic Chinese food with typical chiense restaurant service. Don’t forget to bring cash as they doesn’t accept card.

They make their noodles fresh in the back! Amazing to watch them make it. The dumplings are a must as is the Yakisoba (make it better with their fresh chili oil)

No host or employees to greet customers as you walk in. The server seemed very impatient and uninterested in serving me and my guest (we are North American and Brazilian, respectively), however it was plainly obvious that the customers speaking in Chinese received far more friendly service. The food was good and the servings generous and reasonably priced. They charge you for go-to boxes. Maybe I'll go back for takeout, but I won't subject myself to that dine-in service again.
Great food! One of the best dim sum i ever had (including places in the states).the service is kindda slow, but its really not that big of a deal, and there was also a language barrier(i speak portuguese and the staff mandarin) still could order my food though without big set backs, but if you don’t even speak portuguese its gonna be a huge issue
Not bad! Reasonable price
Traditional japanese restaurant that serves tasty dishes. Try the Teishoku, you won't regret it! They also serve delicious tuna and salmon sashimi!
Typical westernized Chinese. A good test is always sweet & sour pork. They nail it
Great restaurant for Sushi.
We were in Sao Paulo in January 2017 and ended up visiting the Liberdade District during the celebration of the Chinese New Year. The neighborhood was crowded and we could barely walk the streets, especially near where there was food.
So we started to look for a restaurant and we found the Banri, which was like an Oasis in the middle of so much confusion.
The restaurant has 2 floors and we went to the second floor after wait for while because it was full. The Asian decor is simple but very cozy. We ordered hot dish (Beef fried rice) and a sushi boat and everything was very yummy. The service was a little slow, but we understood that it was because it was a special occasion and the restaurant was packed. The price was reasonable and we ate very well.
Grade: Eli = 4, Serge = 4
Recommend: Yes, overall it was a really cool experience.
Good Opportunity to know that not all Japanese food is sushi.

Banri is a find of my fiancé and I in the Liberdade area. We couldn't find any better place for the overpriced sushi rodizios around there. We've been to Banri at least 3 times. Every time we go to São Paulo, that place is a stop. We normally order the 33 pieces of sushis and sashimi selection. It's pretty well served and it's good for 2 piggies eating. I recommend it a lot! Oh, after you finish eating either your sushi's or the Chinese food. You can end up buying their imported asian grocery products in front of the restaurant. It's a lovely experience.
