Best Needlework shops in Canada

Nothing worse than driving into town to find the store closed, even though the hours say until 200pm and the online post says still open 🤦‍♀️

I’ve purchased both a Janome serger and sewing machine from this shop and I’ve had nothing but fantastic service!

Great store with knowledgeable staff! Had all the floss and Aida I needed for cross stitch.

Great shop. Their Janome sewing machines provide excellent quality. Lots of quilting materials and sewing supplies. Handy location on George St. next to No Frills. Parking behind the building provides quick access without trying to find a place to park on the busy street.
The folks here really know their stuff. Providing user tips and service if needed.

Our Kenmore sewing machine needed a repair. The reverse was not working. Spent $77 dollars on it for a repair they told me was fixed. Upon using the machine at home the reverse was not fixed. I have no doubt they did not believe me as they tried the machine in my presence confirming it didn't work. Left the machine there for the second time. Picked the machine up brought it home. I couldn't believe the reverse was still not working. The machine was taken back for the 3rd time. I was told on this occasion it could not be repaired. I asked if I could get a return on money for a repair that I paid for. The answer was "No". I will not support this business in the future.

I can't recommend this store highly enough. I've been a customer since 2011 and have only had good experiences with them. In fact, I still deal with them even though we have relocated to SW Ontario.
