DO NOT BOOK THE STELLA BOREALIS I WAS ASSAULTED BY A STAFF MEMBER AND TOLD IT WAS MY FAULT.

Came for an event June 15th 2024 and was having a good time until things took a turn for the worst. I was with a group of 5 people including my girlfriend. After some time she began feeling sick like she needed to throw up and was sent to the main floor to throw up off the side of the boat. I was with her when our friend hosting the event told her to go to the washroom to throw up. As she needed to go down some more stairs my friend said I should go as well and make sure she was good which I did. Just in case she was to trip or fall down the stairs I helped her into the bathroom and then to the stall where there was an out of service toilet in the middle. As the two other stalls were occupied it was the only option and I moved the trash bin out of the way for her and held her as she was vomiting. While doing this a woman grabbed me out of the stall and told me to “GET OUT” aggressively. I dismissed her by telling her I don’t care (after being ambushed without knowing who she is, while being grabbed forcibly) and was only focused on my girlfriend. The female then placed herself between us and began forcing me out of the bathroom by walking into me. Once we got to the stairs my girlfriend was trying to hold this female and tell her to stop. She decided to put her hand around my throat and choke me while I was trying to grab my girlfriend's hand. As this is happening a security guard came down the stairs and grabbed my hair pulling my whole head back. I stood my ground for about 10 seconds before turning around and realizing it was security where I then stopped resisting and was escorted upstairs. In the end I was told I was being aggressive to the female who was A STAFF MEMBER the whole time. After the event a random girl even said that I put hands on the other woman (she wasn't even there). Another staff member as well as the girls in the washroom stalls said I was being aggressive with her even though they were in the stalls the whole time. My hands never went up once but because I am a man I was told that I was the one who was being threatening. There were a million ways this could have been handled better and the fact that I was choked and had my head pulled without consequences for those involved because the other females defended the staff member is DISGRACEFUL. She is still on the boat go at your own risk.

Love going cruising. Princess is to board from SF and go down the coast or wherever. Nice casino.
Most photos submitted were early first day before most had boarded. Only crowded picture posted is the horrible disembarkment process.

We booked this cruise 8 months in advance. Due to emailed discounted excursions we booked a couple. Just weeks before the trip we got the RC app and tried to book onboard complimentary RipCord, WiveRider and Puzzle (escape room) all spots were booked. 2nd day on cruise more slots opened for sale at $50 for 2 min.

In Seattle check in went fast. We boarded and tried to get food but WindJammer had already closed so we went to our room. Very clean and well appointed.

Continued to explore the very crowded ship. We tried the SeaPlex (activities) area. Super crowded with long lines for everything. Thought maybe sit in a jacuzzi. All crowded and people wanting to get in.

I lead this part about dinning with the staff was amazing everywhere. Buffet was PACKED always. Seating difficult if available all meals. Specialty restaurants cost more $$ but you can get in for average food. Main dinning room and service was good. Food was OK. Not much flavor and appetizers were better than meals.

Again staff everywhere was great but food was subpar and everywhere is super crowded.

Since we can’t get to any activities tried the gym. Lots of cardio but a little difficult to get on machines and get the few weights.

The most disappointing part of the trip was getting off the boat in Vancouver. They give you a schedule and gathering point to wait for your time. We had breakfast and arrived at our gathering point at scheduled exit time. No announcements are being made. I went to ask at the exit gangway and stairs are blocked and we were told to go back. It felt like the episode on Titanic where they locked those not worthy downstairs.

I returned to our gathering point with our group. An hour past our exit time and no instructions we decided to line up to exit. We got off and and into the luggage pick up area. Super crowded. They were on 17 exit baggage and were supposed to be on 33. Again we were roped off and YELLED at by several staff. This was so disorganized. Some people’s luggage would arrive, they would move for it then more YELLING to get back and unable to get you luggage that is right there. Another hour later they release our corralled area. Most of our group got there luggage but some luggage was missing amongst our group. We asked and got no help. We took it upon ourselves to walk through other group numbers. We found our properly labeled missing luggage in other numbered group areas.

Now that we have our luggage 2 hours after the scheduled time we try to follow the signs for Uber pick up. Signs say one way staff instructed to go another way. Ultimately another guest showed us the way about a half mile away from the port down the street and over two blocks in the rain.

Overall i think the only way to see Alaska is on a cruise. Expect to have great service on boat but subpar food. Crowds everywhere with the the inability to participate in most activities. Lots of specialty restaurants available at an additional cost that they have people out trying to sell you. They were empty the first few days but more busy as people get frustrated with the inabilities to find seating at the included WindJammer buffet, Two70 and the Solarium cafe. We asked staff if it’s always this crowded and they said the next scheduled cruise had an additional 400 on it. I can’t even imagine.

****over an hour wait in a long long lineup to get off the ship for immigration… over 2 hour wait to get back on the ship in a big room telling us everyone has to come off the ship for immigration reasons! Was awful!! We missed our dinner time at 5:30 which was disappointing to my Nephew.****they blamed it on immigration but rumour had it that they didn’t send in the manifest there was another princess cruise in port from Vancouver that had no issues with immigration…..My first cruise … went with my mom, sister & my sisters challenged son. Check in was at a plastic table with crew standing around confused took me 40 min to check in as they were confused as my Ship mate already checked in. They made a tag for my luggage I put it on … but it never showed up, i finally called guest services and finally found my suitcase they wanted me to go pick it up and I refused and asked they bring it to me. I did get it at 9 pm and was offered a day for myself and my shipmates in the spa.
Everyone is so confused so much staff wandering around really not knowing what to do… I order coffee with cream each morning they forget the cream every time …. At the pool they just walk around no one asking if anyone would like anything they don’t know how to serve I blame this on management. My sister has cruised often with princess and this has been the worst. Cruising is a luxury to enjoy if you can’t keep the service up maybe your not luxury your just a ship. My daughter did a cruise and it was seamless with another provider

This review is for the beautiful Majestic Princess. I’ve been on other Princess ships and this one is by far the loveliest.
Ottawa Boat Cruise is extraordinary experience of travelling along one of Canada's Grand Emblems : The Ottawa River and Rideau Canal. Our guide was very nice and interactive..I don’t remember her name but she was awesome 👍

We did the 15-day Hawaiian cruise from Vancouver aboard the Star Princess for our 25th anniversary, and it exceeded all of our expectations!! The entire ship was pure luxury from top to bottom. Our balcony suite was very open and spacious - and much needed. Even with all those days spent at sea there was no shortage of things to do. Lei making classes, hula dancing lessons, and live music on every deck. 3 swimming pools to choose from and an indoor and outdoor hot tub. The Grand Casino and Skywalker Lounge were great places to hang out at night and the meals and drinks served at the main buffet and restaurants were so delicious and plentiful! The perfect anniversary getaway ❤️
Have cruised now 36 times several with royal Caribbean, However this last one from Vancouver to Alaska was the worst ever it was the brilliance of the seas. The ship is old rooms are old dated and bathrooms falling apart. The food was so disappointing - tasteless and with no creativity. The only thing I'll say was good was our servers in the dinning room- it was not their fault the food was horrible. There is one specialty restaurant that was really good - Izumi. The steak restaurant- chops was nothing special we could cook a better steak. You could tell there is no pride of food on this boat. This has turned us off of Royal Caribbean. When we go on our next cruise it won't be with this line.
This boat ride is a must do in Ottawa. It’s like the first introductory thing, like a handshake with the history and culture of the city. Ben, the tour guide was absolutely delightful! He will tell you the history of the canal, thereby of the city itself. He will also give you headsup to lovely photo points during the ride!

I would recommend to go for the last ride, which is the 6.30pm slot, because then you see the day time view as well as sunset and night view. I’ve shared all photos and videos below so you know what I’m talking about 😊😊
Great experience for our whole family. Chloe, Courtney and Captain Joel were very informative, friendly and passionate about their work. Boat had a nice top viewing deck, and a closed in area below to keep everyone warm and dry. We saw Minke whales, harbour porpoises and seals, well worth the money.

Went on a cruise to Alaska and it was amazing! Not only were they professional, they were ultra friendly. No fakes on this ship, really felt like we were all family. That goes for the other passengers as well. Food was abundant and delicious, Entertainment fantastic, and the Hospitality / Room / Cabin Service was above and beyond. Definitely looking into more more cruises with these guys. Special shout out to Crown Princess Staff members Greg, Jona and Sandra who hosted the Boticelli Dining Room. Honourable mention to Chetan Naik the Asst. F&B Manager who went out of way many times to connect with me and be sure everything was going well.
Easy to navigate and very clean. Lots of people helping to direct flow.
Nice tour of the river but they charge you around $45 promising they'll give you a 1.5hr tour. The tour itself lasts less than 45mins. We stopped at the Gatineau deck for a good half hour for other people to embark the boat. We were also back at the starting point after an hour 15mins. That means stealing 15mins from our tour + 30mins wasting our time stopping at the Gatineau deck to get money from other people. Don't waste your money/time.

Had an amazing trip on the sky princess. Staff ate all so helpful, every care is attended too. Food is amazing, only problem is not eating too much! Ship is lovingly cared for.
Excellent way to see the world and will definitely be back.

We went on an Alaskan cruise with a balcony. It was definitely the right decision. Plenty of great sites and great service. The people working on the ship were fantastic!
Onboard the Radiance of the Seas for 7 days for their Alaska cruise. Here are the most important parts: The food was abysmal, usually outright bland, often times dry (particularly the cake and other baked items), with only one of maybe 30 items being actually good. Add to this an hour long wait with overly lagging service if you ever choose to dine at Cascades, even with a my-time-dining reservation. The common-area items were always broken, in disrepair, or not available (for example, we tried playing ping pong at 8:30 PM to find that all 4 of the available balls were either cracked or dented and completely unusable. After reporting this to guest services, we were told they already were made aware of the situation, and someone would be up in 15 min to resolve. We waited 35+ minutes, with no resolution, before talking to guest services a second time, after which another promise to fix the issue was made), the puzzles were all missing pieces, the "game" selection was non-existent (if I had known only playing cards, chess, scrabble and puzzles would be available I would have brought my own boardgames onboard). The guest lecture was a complete embarrassment and waste of time (unprofessional, boring, uninformative, unhelpful). The night time shows were no better (total waste of time). The cabins were clean, but the beds were dreadfully hard. Also, at times when one would be sleeping you can hear the loudest, most disturbing metal clanging through the walls of the cabin. The Solarium is marked as being an adults-only space, but it is actually just a warm indoor area on the top decks that everyone, including screaming infants, congregate to on the Alaskan cruise. The space in the Solarium is used very poorly: there is only 1 hot tub, into which you can only reasonably fit 4-5 adults before peoples legs start awkwardly brushing one another. They don't regulate children going into the Solarium either, so it is never a peaceful or quiet space. Also, it closes at 8PM?! That's absurd. An adult never has time to go to all of their daily events, tours, excursions, meals, and such and still make it to the Solarium before 8PM. Also, the amount for a drink package is absurd; on top of this whether I pay an outrageous $16.52 per cocktail, or $90 a day before gratuity, it is highly inconsistent what I get even when ordering the exact same cocktail. One bartender is fantastic and makes the drink exactly to the recipe as stated on the menu, while another skips ingredients on the menu, doesn't measure the alcohol and then just tops everything with a cherry. This was incredibly frustrating, as there was no consistency or regularity to the drinks, all while being charged a top premium price. The only highlight of our cruise was our cabin attendant: he was a delight, and kept our room clean each day, with cute animal towels to top off the experience. A couple of the other crew members were pleasant/friendly but all around all of the service was extremely hit-or-miss. The ports chosen for stops were half amazing, half lack-luster. Ketchikan was great, as was Skagway and Sitka. Icy Straight Point (Hoonah) is a fabricated tourist town, with the real town hidden away from the cruise ships. Would be more worthwhile to make a stop in Juneau.
Had a great time on our cruise and at the chef's table dinner!
Sigh, where do I begin? The cruise itself was great. When I say that, I mean the stops and ports. The people were also great up to a point. I will say the shining beacon was the wait staff in the main dining room they were wonderful throughout. Beyond that point was when I caught Covid from another passenger that they had on board. I have never caught it before, so it caught me off guard that I even got it. Then I got stuck on their medical bay for several hours, trying to see why I was sick. As soon as they diagnosed, I had Covid everything changed. I suddenly became a nuisance to be tolerated. They stopped trying to see if we needed towels or trash pickup. They made us quarantine in the room and allowed us to get room service for free. Although, that menu is quite limited. They hurried us off the ship as early and fast as they could, even though they literally brought us breakfast about 5 minutes before they came to the door to get us to leave. Not only this, but the guy who was working in the center of the store area told me that they would have the same sale on watches that I was looking at would be available for the rest of the cruise. When I sent someone to go back for me to buy them for me and my son, he told them they had all got put away and only offered two that he had. Which would have been fine, except I literally say the ones we wanted on display as we walked past on the way off the ship. So it's kinda hard to believe that he couldn't find them one day, and the next, it was all on display. The casino needs better smoke ventilation and air cleaning. I wasn't even in the casino, I was in the atrium, and I was choking on smoke from people smoking in the casino. When I walked through there, it was pure smoke. I wish I had a gas mask. to top it off, I purchased 2 new suitcases for this trip. When they got to my room, one had a small hole in the back, and the other had a broke off a wheel. They did replace the one with the broken wheel, but advised they could do nothing for the one with a hole in it. I actually took a Royal Caribbean cruise for my honeymoon. It was truly the best at that time. I feel like they haven't been able to keep up with this. Now, they just don't seem to be as customer service oriented as they used to be. I literally felt like I was being treated like a stowaway or something. I hope they can do better in the future if we decide to give them another chance. My inlaws cruise at least once a year, and now they want us to go with them. I am not sure I will be recommending Royal Caribbean as my top pick anymore. They really didn't make me or my family feel welcome. If it wasn't for the first cruise we had on our honeymoon. I wouldn't want to even try to give them another chance.
What an amazing experience!! Those words don't even do the trip justice. Whales, a shark, porpoises, and more seals than we could count. The amazing marine biologists they had for their crew were amazing!! Very informative and ready for any question. We will definitely be going again. Thank you to Joel the captain and the 2 young ladies on board, I'm so sad i can't remember their names but if they're reading this, you were on with us on July 28th at 1:30pm. You guys were amazing!! You certainly can tell how much you love your jobs.
We were visiting Ottawa from Montreal just for a couple of days and took both Ottawa canal and river cruises. It was a good experience, the canal one was an excellent and relaxing way to spend 1.5 hours on the water. Ana, Johnathan, and Logan did a great job! Narration was excellent, bar prices - reasonable, and the all electric boat was just a perfection. We too a 7.30pm cruise and there was not many people, which made us feel like it’s a private cruise! I recommend.
Whistler mountain!! Spectacular!
The cruise was amazing I did not appreciate being on land three days and having to have three separate hotels rush rush rush no time to enjoy any of the hotels or the area around them. It would have been nice just to stay at one hotel for the most amountif time....to enjoy the area....
Learned so many interesting details about the history of Ottawa... Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Had some difficulty locating the start of the tour - went to the wrong side of the canal but found our way & didn't miss the tour!Loved learning about the city!
Great whale watching tour boat! 2 Marine biologists on board boat was clean, seats cushioned. Washrooms on board. Enough life jackets and life boats for everyone. I felt very safe. The captain was professional friendly and a great tour guide. We saw whales, a great white shark cruising around the sea lions….He did have a snack too. Dolphins, Bald Eagles, crabs to see and hold for those who wanted to. It was a great day!
Our family recently moved to Ottawa and this was the perfect introduction. Wonderful staff and such a smooth great ride along the canal on this electric boat. The staff were welcoming and our tour guide Madison was phenomenal. I highly recommend!
US TSA FTW (12000 people trying to board, they have no idea what they are doing)
I took the Ottawa boat tour.

Overall, this was an enjoyable experience. There are a lot of wonderful and educational landmarks along the Ottawa and Gatineau rivers. Gliding août the Ottawa river was relaxing. It could have been an hour longer and I would have enjoyed it just the same.
I appreciated the information shared by our wonderful tour guide, Andi. She was engaging and kind, and truly seemed to enjoy her job and sharing Ottawa with her guests.
A star has been reduced due to limited seating available. It is not the number of seats, but rather the type. I feel as though the seating could use an upgrade.
I must admit we were underwhelmed with our Ekeau tour. While being a great concept (emissions free tourism!), the canal cruise itself felt really impersonal.

The seating was cafe style chairs placed around the boat. We had a stack of chairs right in front of us which impeded our view. One of the crew could see us struggling to gain visibility and made no effort to help or move the chairs. We eventually moved.

The most jarring part of the experience was that some guests were discourteous (talking loudly, rushing to get on and off the boat, walking around with shoes off). There was little effort from the team to guide guests through house rules to make it a more pleasant experience for all on board.

The tour guide did a great job and shared lots of fun canal facts. There was also a small bar on board which could be used throughout the journey.

In hindsight, I would have much preferred to ride a bike along the canal instead. It’s a flat, dedicated bike path. It’s still emissions free, you can hire it from the same spot as the cruise, and you can do it at your own pace.

First boarded from this cruise pier October 2022. An absolute nightmare. No organization, poor logistics and signage. Took 2 hours to get through . Chalked it up to post-pandemic reset. Then we cruised out of here again in May 2023. I didn't think it was possible, because we were prepared, but it was worse. Whoever manages this port should be fired. We will NEVER cruise out of Vancouver again.
We are just returning from a 21 day Cambodia and Vietnam. It was an amazing trip. The best part was the boats on the Mekong and Halong Bay. Both our guides were wonderful and knowledgeable. Bros in Cambodia and Nghia in Vietnam. One of our Discover More trips was cancelled and we received a refund within a week of getting home. The "One Night in Saigon" - Discover More excursion was NOT as Advertised!! It was definitely NOT worth the extra money paid. Our guide to the airport, Minh, was very helpful and he was well educated.
He helped us check in and accompanied us to the security gate.
Cool place to visit. Some good restaurants in the area to eat at as well. Great place to go for a nice walk. There can be some security concerns when visiting the area. There is a lack of security presence as well.
Night life here is great. It is a great spot to hang out with some friends and you will enjoy the time. Do not forget to take an umbrella or know about the weathet before you head out. Highly recommended for a walk with a coffee.
I have paid for my September 2022 cruise twice and Royal Caribbean is not cooperating. They say they've refunded one payment. It has not been applied to my credit card. Bank has verified. They're so difficult to deal with on basically a simple bookkeeping error. My sister and I cruised together, she was charged 2ce too but refunded immediately. So frustrating.
Emerald canceled my Rhine river cruise (August 2022) and have yet to process my refund. I had my agent call at the 4 week mark and was told “they are processing it and will mail a refund”. Initially I was told that the refund would be processed within 2 weeks. Not acceptable to hold my $8000+ hostage for weeks and weeks. At this point they should be wiring funds or sending by Fed Ex but they won’t. In what world is it acceptable to wait this long for money that a large corporation has no right to hold onto.

Sept 28 I spoke with the company as I still haven’t received any money back and they have not responded to this review or to my email to them. They have 0 customer quality. I was told that the “small print” states they have up to 180 days to return my money. I first paid my deposit Feb 11, 2022 so those funds they have held for 7.5 months without me having access to them and they say they can hold for up to 180 days which means an entire year that I won’t have access to funds FROM A CRUISE THEY CANCELLED. Not to mention other funds I am out of pocket for cancelling the trip. And with all of this they feel no obligation to call to apologize, respond to an email or send back any funds. Really unacceptable for a large corporation to hold hostage our funds like this.

The terminal is clean and attractive, but it is not very wheelchair user friendly. My wife and I found the building to be a labyrinth of floors with inadequate signage informing us of the location of elevators.
We just finished a seven day cruise on Radiance of the Seas from Seward to Vancouver. This was by far the most enjoyable cruise we've taken. Royal Caribbean gets high marks for their crew. These people offer a level of service and attentiveness that is unmatched at any hotel or restaurant we've been too.

The two items that need improvement are the bed (which was fairly uncomfortable) and the tiny shower in their balcony suites. But I can't take away a star because their crew is so freaking awesome.

For example, a young lady named Hannah stopped by our table to offer a discounted dining package. Normally we would have declined but her enthusiasm was infectious. It turned out that the upgraded dining was one of the highlights of our cruise.

Between the on board activities, entertainment and port excursions we had the time of our life.
Enjoyed a lot fun trip I had with this amazing friendly, experienced and knowledgable crew, beautiful sceneries, and most importantly visiting lots of whale friends swimming around our boat!!!
The boat also was comfortable and the right size. I Definitely recommend them.

My boyfriend and I purchased tickets from WagJag on the Aurora Borealis in August 2022 for a dinner/dance cruise. There was an additional charge once we went to place the booking but the total for WagJag and booking fees came to about $85 per person so we still went ahead and did it. And I'm glad we did! We had a fantastic time. We got there a half hour before boarding to make sure we got a seat on the upper deck as it has a better view and that's where the DJ, dancing and bar are located. Like other reviews have said, the boat was old - but not in bad shape at all. The setup and food was nothing fancy but I wasn't there for a gourmet meal or fancy linens. I was there to have a few drinks, enjoy some delicious food, meet some new people, cruise on the water, wave at the other boats, listen to some awesome music, dance up a storm, and watch the sunset over the lake - and that's what I got! The crew were excellent: super friendly and accommodating. I would soooo do this again! Parking was only $12 in the adjacent lot, which was a really nice surprise. They even brought out some free shots while we waited in line to board. Not sure if they do that all the time but it was a really nice bonus and got the party started! :D
Wonderful whale watching experience! We have gone twice and have seen numerous whales, seals, porpoises, and bald eagles. Great opportunities for photography and a chance to learn about the area with the marine biologists on board.
What an EPIC experience …. This deserves 10 stars! EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT WORKS HERE DESERVES A SHOUT OUT! From the moment you check in you have this welcoming feeling and you know this trip will be awesome. They have 2 super knowledgeable marine biologists on the boat who explain everything and teach you so much about the whales you will see on your trip and all the surrounding islands you will see. The captain is also friendly and knowledgeable. This is a worthwhile trip for everyone travelling here. Highly recommend. They guarantee a 96% rate of seeing marine life! You will see whales and seals and dolphins. Everyone is happy and welcoming.
This was our first time going on a cruise and although the booking process was a bit challenging, the actual experience on the cruise was amazing.
The booking experience: They had the kids sail free promo going on but when I tried to book for my toddler, she was charged the full amount. I was able to book with a representative over the phone but later realized that the cruise price they offered was more than the one I was originally booking for. But I ended up getting a $100 credit so that helped.
The cruise experience: We were on Serenade of the Seas. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Our balcony stateroom was nice and spacious. The port destinations were great. The shows and activities were great and we were never bored. Food at the Windjammer buffet was alright but at least you can pick and chooose what you want. Food at the main dining room was amazing every night. I would totally recommend cruising with Royal Caribbean!
What a great experience.. have never done whale watching but was a great time.. started out foggy then after it lifted the games began! Lots of seals to start, then a few porpoise then on the main attractions! Lol. A few minky whales and a Fin to end the day.. Super knowledgeable and friendly on board staff and approachable to ask lots of questions.. Will definitely definitely be back again! My vote for best boat attraction in the area..
Our Dec. 2022 river cruise was cancelled by Emerald without any explanation.
I requested a refund and have now waited weeks with no refund or apology .I would stay away from this company
A really great crew and very knowledgeable. Our first time whale watching and it was a very enjoyable day. We saw whales, porpoise and seals.

The crew answered any questions we had and they described the area we were in and gave information of all areas we visited.

Definitely will be back next time with Island Quest Marine.
Loved the cruise from Budapest to Nuremberg last August. The Panorama suite was lovely and staffs kind and attentive. Food and wine deliciou6.Plan to do Bucharest to Budapest in September 2021, covid permitting.
Awesome place to join a cruise as it is right in the middle of downtown. I love my city
My spouse and I booked a 19 day excursion to Cambodia and Vietnam back in May 2017. Our tour was for September 28 until October 16, 2018. We actually booked 3 extra days at the beginning of the trip so that we'd be well rested. We've just returned home after the most incredible experience of our lives. This is a glowing testimonial that Emerald Waterways is a first class travel agent! Every tiny detail was thoroughly thought out and adhered to and our expectations were exceeded beyond our imagination. We certainly would not hesitate to book with Emerald Waterways again and we'll be recommending their service to anyone who inquires. Thank you Emerald Waterways for the best vacation we've ever had!

Excellent experience! We've taken 2 cruises with them and love it. Cuisine is top notch.
DO NOT BOOK! Aurora Borealis

The food is sub par. You get 3 things served cold on a paper plate. The boat is disgusting. There is holes in the walls everywhere, spider webs and spiders on every inch of the walls. The women's washroom has 4 stalls. One of which has no door, the other that has no toilet seat and the other 2 which don't lock. There was spiders dangling all over the food and when we pointed one out to the staff she brushed it onto the floor. To top it all off, we caught a staff member secretly video taping a couple who was showing affection. Very inappropriate and disturbing.

Do not waste the money on this cruise.
We purchased a dinner cruise on Groupon for us and our friends. For $39 (plus tax and tip), this isn't a terrible deal. No, it isn't a spectacular meal but it was as expected, and the experience of haing dinner and a few drinks while cruising around the Toronto Harbour was nice. Scenery was great. Staff was friendly. Music was good (80s music) and we had fun dancing. Everything was on time. I think if you're expecting much more, you're going to be disappointed. All around, for the money we had fun.
Stay away. Terrible experience. The Aurora Borealis cruise is a trap. Will never use that again and I do not recommend this cruise. The boat is old and stinky. We were a party of 4 people on 3 hrs dinner cruise with groupon. The food is basic, beverages are not included. Upper deck sitting with music, bar and nice open air view was all reserved for non groupon buyers. With groupon we got sitting on lower deck, with no music, no bar and no view. But with the huge line of people from upper deck standing to get the food plates. Yes the food distribution is on the lower deck. They have double charged me for the tax and service. The charge for the tax was based on higher groupon rate than I paid to groupon. The service is awful, could not reach anybody to ask for the refund of double charge.
If I could give this no stars I would.

We purchased 2 Groupons for this in May. We booked it online on May 21 for an August 6 cruise. However, we didn't get a reservation email in the 7 days that was supposed to happen. I emailed in June, and early July asking about it, I called twice to ask about when the reservation is to be expected ...all they said was... we're back logged, don't worry, you'll get the email soon. I called a third time the day before the cruise and the guy was old and rude saying..."You'll get your reservation!"

5 hours before the actual cruise, I receive an email telling me that there was a technical error on their end and my reservation is now cancelled.
Why in the world did they not tell me this during the times I called and emailed?

We have 4 kids and plans over the summer. Which is the reason why I booked it 3 months in advance. They decide a few hours before the cruise to cancel and think it's okay to simply send an email??

I called him within an hour of getting the cancelation and he asked me this "You reserved with a Groupon right?" "I can't help you".

OMG!! Terrible terrible TERRIBLE biased decision. My husband and I will be sure to voice our opinions in every location that we possibly can.
Do not waste your money....it's a poor example of a business. Take the other tours!
We had a fantastic time on our Dinner Cruise with Toronto Harbour Cruises, the staff were so helpful and guided us to our seats when we boarded. The dinner was outstanding, make sure you check out the BBQ Chicken it was heavenly and the little desert tarts afterwards were too. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a romantic dinner with their significant other or even a group of friends, you won't be disappointed!
