How I miss my very old school where I spent my grade 7 and 8. They should not have gotten rid of old teachers. I wish to reach out. I miss my teachers Mr. Athill and Mr. Miles, Ms. Davison, Ms. Finkeldye, and more. Thanks for your time in my learning. My happiest time of life here when I was just a pre-teenager. The school is clean and is a nice build. I wish the 2 schools did not become one and they have gotten rid of j.s woodsworth yearbooks :( The idea of becoming one school makes sense though and simplifies things. I wish to go back to my time and make some better decisions but I have an irreplaceable experience here with my friends, lunchtime, schoolwork and classtime. They can do better than having trailers but it’s ok. I like this school more than my high school experience!! :)
School was ok, bridge was doo doo idea, person made that was a poo poo head
Matthew Li in grade 6 2022-2023 was the worst person ever. He legitimately terrorized me and hurt me forever. You know the phrase “who hurt you?” Well Mathew Li bullied, harassed and done unspeakable things to me within school and outside of school. Just to let you know I am in grade 8 and he knows where I live and has told me he will continue annoying and bugging me for many years if not decades right outside of my house. Please expel him. Yuming Ruo who is also in grade 6 2022-2023 knows the full story so ask him for the clear story.

The teachers here at ZHMS are phenomenal. It's so rare that we come across these absolute gems like Mrs. Cattell, Mr. Gardziejczyk, Ms. Fernandes, and many more. Please, give all of these teachers a HUGE raise.
This school isn’t the worst no is it the best, in any school you will have a few bad students and a few good ones. If you want your child to really excel in any public school I think you should be open to the possibility of enrolling them in studies outside of the school. Although this school might not be the most perfect at teaching, I do think it can teach valuable lessons to middle schoolers.

This school doesn’t discriminate towards anyone and has a wide amount of kids from everywhere, with different personalities. This can help your child understand how to interact with kids from different places and different tempers. I think this is widły the same with every public school, they teach you that even if you don’t like a person you have to work with them.

This school does have many great teacher that I enjoy learning from like Mr. Caligiri, Mr Nini, Mr tong (who is my personal favourite teacher), And some others who I’ve heard are good but haven’t had the chance to learn from. All around it’s not the worst school, it has a sense of community and everyone knows everyone.

Worst school ever I’m in grade 6 and it’s terrible there are so many gangsters and the teachers don’t care about kids swearing I don’t recommend this school
Amazing school! I've met sooo many people here and learnt lots. Teachers are very kind and helpful. There's also tons of clubs you can sign up for. My favourite part is the variety of sports the school has. Love this school!
This is school is bully place no discipline and teacher call your child lier they don’t have to talk to kids and very disrespectful. children not getting education they’re learning all slang and bad language and very races and favouritism bully place.
Worst school. Stay away from it!!
Many kids from low income families whose parents work all the time and leave their kids completely unsupervised. Kids go to the library across the street to have s.. during lunch time. And come back talking about the details of their experience at such young age.
The school has gifted program and the teachers always compare the regular program students with gifted ones and always tell the kids that you are not good enough.
Last year Mr. Singh specifically put a horror movie without getting consent from parents and then told a very scary story about the time he was working at a motel ..
My kid couldn’t sleep at nights for a while after what he said.
The exceptional teacher in that school is Mr. Tong. He was awesome.
We couldn't be happier with the education and support my children receive at Discovery Academy! The teachers are not only dedicated and passionate about their work but also go above and beyond to ensure each student thrives. The school puts emphasis on great education, strong sense of community and inclusivity, great environment overall!
One of my kids is in grade 8 and the second one is in grade 1, I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child(ren)!
My friend has a lot of trauma from the school. She got pushed off flights of stairs and is now afraid of them and I have to deal with it. She also got bullied, picked on, harassed, body shamed :(. She says the teachers and staff were so nice. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS ONLY IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILDREN TO HAVE DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY. VERY GHETTO.

Very excited for the new location!!
I can confidently recommend Discovery Academy High School.
The first and most important point is that every teacher does everything in their power to make all students feel comfortable, yet at the same time not too relaxed.
They find a special approach to everyone, so all of the learners can reveal themselves as unique individuals. Moreover, they get prepared for the big world not only from the side of grades, but also from the side of “street” knowledge. For which I thank this educational institution very much.
I graduated in 2022, but still keep in touch with certain teachers and school principals.
Discovery Academy enormously changed me as a person and prepared me for adult life, which I will never forget.
I gladly suggest it!
Four score and seven years ago, when I went to this school, a proposition that all men are created equal was not considered though, To this effect, I have been refused beer multiple times and have been denied entry to the EDM rave on Tuesdays. The beds are on par with stockade's. I left a stash of ''zingers' in a radiator. Good luck. P.S. the war or drugs never happened

I’m a student at Keystone Toronto, completing my secondary school degree. I am very excited to get my Canadian diploma and begin my Bachelor’s degree.
some kid got tools to rip the mirror out of the girls bathroom .this school is very ghetto dont send your child here. did make some good friends though
I have taken mathematics courses at Discovery Academy. I have never experienced education as good as this private school has provided me with. The teachers are incredible at their job, and encouraged me with my studies. I strongly suggest anyone to take courses in this school
Lakeshore School is 5 🌟 +. From the front end staff always accommodating and friendly, to the teachers who go above and beyond. The staff go out of their way to make learning fun and interesting for the kids. The teachers spend hours of their own time with after school extra curriculum activities that the kids love. I would recommend this school to anyone.
Discovery Academy is a commendable school that excels in its math and science focus. The young and passionate teachers and ample student support contribute to a well-rounded educational experience. I would highly recommend this school to students who have a keen interest in these subjects and are looking for an engaging and supportive learning environment.
no. its horrible here. so many people who think theyre slick running around screaming while the nicest teacher in the world is giving a lesson. atleast I got some real good friends though
Dis school is so gud i luve the eduction i coldent ask for a battar educahion
the school is amazing its like no other schools in Calgary but side note some teacher are better then others
This has been by far the best school we have had the opportunity to be part of with the CBE. The community within the school is evident by the number of smiling faces I’ve seen walking in. My daughter has gone from below average in math to above average in one year thanks to, of course, her determination but also to the massive support from her teachers and the extra time they take to offer math help. There are a huge number of clubs offered, so many that my kids have a hard time choosing because they want to be part of all of them. The admin team is on the ball. For a new school, it’s amazing how it runs like a well oiled machine already. And if you ever get Mrs Taylor in grade 7… she’s next level🙂 we are feeling very blessed to be able to have our kids part of such a great school that focuses on community and excellence. Way to go Bears!
Beautiful school, wonderful caring hard working staff. Awesome community! We love it here!
I don’t like this school I swear the teachers are so bad. They must of picked the worst teacher’s from all of Yyc. They don’t listen or help and just want a pay check. Not to mention they always pick on the boys. The principals are great but some strict and unneeded rules. If u want a good education and setting up for high school don’t go here.
This school is so cheap it’ the Dollarama version of every cbe is school. They made kids walk to a Highschool visit and lakeshore was the last to appear. This school doesn’t teach your kids anything but to vape. There is so much disrespectful and harmful students in this school, one threw a parking cone on a locker and it broke. Students steal locks and break school properties. If you want a good education and safe environment to not develop a mental illness this is not a good school.
This school is so bad because the rules are to strict and the teacher don't help you understand the subject well.
My son had to change his school in the middle of the year. Discovery Academy accepted him from non-semestered school and provided fantastic support to my son. He graduated with his classmates despite the fact he had to take 6 credits during the last semester.
The teachers of the school are highly professional and provide close to university studying environment. So, the graduates know everything about time management and independent studying.
The secondary school principal is very flexible in terms of schedule which was very helpful for my son.
The kids in the school are very approachable and friendly.
ill be completely honest. This school, gave me depression. its true, I have NEVER seen such a bad school other than this specific school. I've been bullied, picked on, bodyshamed. The kids there are the worst. They act like as if the school is their own kingdom. Kids skipping classes, kids arguing with teachers. Truely just the worse. The teachers there are amazing though, i must say. Just some of them arent quite the best teachers. They really try their best in teaching all of us so WE can succeed in life. I have my respect for them. I dont necessarily recommend sending your child to this school though. I am SO glad that im graduating this year.

Great care of the organization and high quality of education! Flexibility. Better than expected indeed. My two sons 15th and 18th had a very positive growth opportunity not only from an academic point of view but also relational Special thanks to Doa and Thalita! 👏
I think the teachers are amazing they have worked very hard to teach us well and I was also given a lot of oppurtunities. One thing I have a problem with is how students treat others. There are a lot of students with behavioural issues who would constantly make it living hell for either special needs kids or just normal anti-social kids. Otherwise, it was a great school I didnt make any new great friends unfortuately but the teachers are very considerate and caring. Some of the kids are also nice its only a minority who contribute to the behavioural issues.

As an alumnus of the school I can say that my school years there were one of the two greatest formative influences on the man I am today. If you believe you cannot afford to send your son, apply anyways, as the school maintains a generous bursary programme.
My child has been studying in this school since the second grade, and now my child is about to graduate from primary school. As a parent, I feel very happy to see my child go to school happily every day, and my child often shares some interesting things that happen in school after returning home, because I know that my child enjoys school life very much. The professionalism, patience, tolerance and responsibility of the teachers, as well as the enthusiasm, kindness, friendliness and mutual help of the classmates, let my child grow up into a caring, responsible, assertive and confident person in a happy day, and the child's ability in all aspects has been well exercised and improved, I think this should be the result that every parent expects to see. For this, my family and I are grateful! What a great school! Gratitude let us meet!

I've planned to go Keystone this September. i must say that the application procedure has been very smooth and the admission team, especially Miss. Doa Demirsu (who managed my file, and followed my application procedure), were explicitly wonderful at their job and pleasure to talk with.
I'm happy I've been accepted to such a great school, and can't wait to go there.
Excellent school for boys. Run with care and compassion combined with discipline and respect. Gives opportunities to all boys even those less academically gifted like mine...so long as he is doing his best they are there to support him. Incredible to find a progressive and modern school where our boys can be surrounded by like-minded individuals and their families who still maintain fundamental core values. Welcoming community of parents. Can't say enough good about them. Pity that there are not more schools like Loyola.

My time at Keystone has been wonderful. I made friends who come from many different countries. I love the teachers at Keystone, as well as the location of the school which is at the heart of Toronto. There are many things to do in the city so it’s nice and convenient when I hang out with my friends.
Overall, Keystone has a great location, great academics, and a very friendly environment.

As a keystone student, I sincerely want to rate 101 out of 100 for my school. This is a home-style school. All my teachers and staffs here are just like my family members. They not only just educate students, but also teach us useful skills that we can actually use in our lives. I never feel lonely when I'm here although none of my family members here.
While a lot of the teachers are wonderful people and very supportive, admin has issues spending money properly, dealing with bullying, and mental health. Once in grade 6 our guidance counsellor showed a video of why the teachers hated our grade. Oh also, the cafeteria has a 2000% markup on forks and the cafeteria itself is filthy.
Loyola calls itself a Christian school yet every year, it kicks out young teenagers who do not live up to a certain standard. An adolescent deserves patience, love and guidance especially if he is having a hard time---not a kick in the teeth. Loyola loves its flashy help the poor and save our planet projects (the ones that the boys can later put on their resumes) but it lacks in basic compassion toward its own students. They are Elitists with a catchy but meaningless "man for others" slogan. I recommend you send your son elsewhere.

I visited this place to sing for a concert with the boys. It was clean, modern looking, and spacious. Perfect learning atmosphere (although I've never attended this school)
All three of my sons had a fabulous Loyola experience. They are all 'men for others' and have bright futures ahead of them thanks to Loyola H.S.
I did Grade 12 Advanced Functions this summer, and I greatly enjoyed my time at Discovery Academy High School. The teachers are extremely helpful and do anything they can to assure that their students succeed in the course. The class size was very small, and this was very beneficial to all students as it allowed us to have more one on one time with the teachers. This allowed us to get a better understanding of the material. The online progress report was easy to understand and updated frequently. Overall, I highly recommend this school in order to assure success for your future!
My daughter has already taken two courses in Discovery Academy high school and I wanted to share our positive experience about this school. I really liked that parents are involved into the student's progress what is quite different in regular public schools. Discovery Academy online Progress Reporting System is great, you can check it in anytime and it is updated every day. The academic programs are great in this school and teachers are very knowledgeable, supportive and helpful. Management team is also very involved in students’ progress and provide support when required.
I would definitely recommend this school to all students and parents!
