Best Medical diagnostic imaging centers in Canada

This clinic treats all their patients with importance. All the staff are very personable, friendly and helpfull. I highly recommend booking at this location. Receptionists Guneet and Krystal are helpful in person or over the phone.

Even though my externship to this site was only for one week, I learned so much at this diagnostic center. Thanks to Guneet😊 who made sure I was involved in a variety of tasks, from interacting with patients to observing diagnostic procedures. The hands-on experience was invaluable, and I left with a better understanding of how a diagnostic center operates.

"I went to a center to have an ultrasound done, but the personnel who performed it did not treat me well at all.The sonographer was very nervous , especially on my hand. I was in pain and felt nervous. I was very unhappy with the experience and won't be going back for any further tests."Only the secretary was nice, but the man who did the ultrasound did not behave well and made me feel bad

A few days ago I went for my first pregnancy ultrasound and the attention was very good from the reception girls and the technique, they let my husband pass the last 5 minutes

The only thing I didn’t like was that the technique told me that I had a wrong number of weeks, I want to imagine the calculation he gave me was based on the information I gave to my midwives, which I was not sure, I thought I would take the measurements of my baby which did not happen.

He told me that I was 8 weeks old when I was actually 9 almost 10, so I had to go somewhere else to get a good diagnosis.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Ontario Diagnostic. The facility was clean and well-organized, and the staff were incredibly professional and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt well cared for and informed throughout the ultrasound process. Devika, the ultrasound technician, were skilled and took the time to explain each step, ensuring I felt comfortable and at ease. The results were delivered promptly and with thorough explanations. I highly recommend Ontario Diagnostic for anyone in need of reliable and efficient diagnostic services. 💯👌🏻

Staff is understanding, helpful, accommodating and polite. Service is quick. Facilities are very clean. I’ve used this imaging centre 3 times and each time I have had a great experience. I will continue using them for all my imaging needs. Excellent place!!!

I used to go to this facility for pelvic ultrasound. Not very pleasant procedure but Vera is the best specialist I've ever met. Always very gentle and careful. All other stuff I interacted with was friendly and ready to help.

I recently visited the clinic and was thoroughly impressed with their service. Despite not having an appointment, their front desk staff accommodated me promptly and with a welcoming attitude. The ultrasound staff were exceptionally skilled and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend my friends for their efficient and friendly service.

I had a very pleasant experience at the clinic. I got accepted right away as a walk in patient instead of waiting for a couple of weeks in another clinic, thanks to a very well organized process and professional staff, especially a male ultrasound technician.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the clinic. Very professional and polite staff, friendly and caring. The receptionist is very welcoming and smiley. Clean and tidy office, washroom and rooms. My 84 yo father was taken to the test room the same minute his appointment was scheduled for. I really recommend this clinic. I've been in this clinic in the past for myself and other family members, many years ago, and happy to see that the quality of care for their patients has not changed a bit.

I was there for my ultrasound, and the woman who was in charge of performing ultrasound, was very unprofessional. Upon my arrival, I verbally gave my consent for TVs if needed to get better scan.
Upon learning my name, we mutually learned that we are from same country . She started small talks which was fine until, she asked me if “I am married”, and i said no. The next second she said oh then i can’t perform TVs. This is soo backward typical mindset and she was willing to jeopardize my scans. I am 34 years old and i know what is TVs when i already told her to do so if needed IN THE BEGINNING. She proceed to ask me some really unnecessary uncomfortable questions which made me furious . Those questions was none of her concern when I am already telling her to proceed for the scan. she presumed things which she should never have in the first place.
If that was not enough, she again asked me about some unrelated to scans, personal life question, which i said i don’t want to answer. And she again try to clarify of i am just asking about your “…..”
I had to tell her again, that i don’t want to answer anymore personal question. If you are Indian, don’t put your foot in there
She dropped her professionalism as soon as she learned I am from her same country which was totally unacceptable.

Been here twice for my ultrasound and the other lady whose name I don’t know has always been very nice and kind. I came in today June 21st 2024 ay 9am and that lady wasn’t there. I felt so sad because I already became used to her. And the lady who was there today was not helpful at all. She wasn’t very careful with the transvaginal device and used it forcefully on me. She told me I was 15weeks pregnant where as I’m 18 weeks. She was very unprofessional and I can’t believe her reading or whatever she puts in my result. She was very rude and the most unprofessional technologist I have ever encountered. I am never returning to this place. God bless the other lady.

Plz plz plz don’t take ur kids there. The person who did my baby’s ultrasound was a miserable woman, black hair woman who didn’t even try to connect with my baby before start. She was so unprofessional and low class person. Don’t take ur kids there for ultrasound

Janna - what a smile and very welcoming - helped me get booked in really quick! Busy morning at the clinic but a very short wait. Mattie did my xray and Igor my ultrasound and both provided compassion, knowledge and patience ❤️ overall a really nice experience and i know i’ll be back.

I had an appointment for a mammogram on Wednesday, May 15th @ 10 AM that I booked 2-months in advance & confirmed 2-days before. When I got there, there were 3-lazy receptionists sitting there doing nothing ! One of them told me that my appointment had been cancelled because an employee called in sick, no one called me at all, yet these 3-nimrods sitting at the front desk doing nothing could have all got on the phones & called everyone to notify all, go figure ! I now have to wait until June 19th because of their lazy incompetance ! The girl (Gunert) told me that someone in back was calling everyone, yet when I got home there were no messages on my answering machine !!!

I personally had an awful experience here, went in for an ultrasound. This is the first ultrasound practice I’ve went to that pretty much told me everything before my dr can. I personally wish they didn’t because this pregnancy ended in a loss and my ultrasound tech at the end told me and even turned the screen for me to hear no heartbeat and to see my baby on the screen not moving. I ended up rushing out sobbing to my husband.

My wife is 32 weeks pregnant, and we visited this place with her three times for an obstetrical ultrasound. The first two visits were really good. I think the technician's name was Natalina, who even showed us the baby's fingers and we are thankful for her. However, today when we went, there was a different technician, whom I believe is named Igor. He checked three patients in 15 to 20 minutes. He didn't show our baby to us properly, he just said he will take some measurements and did not let us see the screen, just at the end he said to us, here is the baby, (5 seconds). When we asked him how the baby looks like, he started to avoid answering our question. We asked him again and he rudely said that we would hear from the doctor. The previous technician explained everything to us and was so kind. Igor's suspicious answers scared my wife and made our day miserable. My wife is supposed to stay away from stress, especially now. He made her feel worried because of his behavior. It is normal that as parents, you wanted to know if everything seems fine. If you are looking for a place with more human sense and consideration, Please reconsider going to this place.

I was at the clinic for my annual mammogram. Not my first. I wanted to validate the last persons review as I too had the exact same experience on January 5th. 2024. Same technician , same experience. No privacy to change, I found the whole experience quite upsetting to be honest. I do not leave negative reviews and it takes a lot for me to complain . With the excellent experience I have had in the past here at the clinic I felt compelled to speak up because this has been a very different experience
this time. Considering the type of appointment it is , a littlebitt of bed side manor goes a long way. The technician pushed and pulled my body to the point that I was experiencing pain .I was bruised the next day. Please find a new technician to keep the standard of this clinic as it has been for many years . Thank you for your excellent clinic. I trust you will follow up to deal with this current situation .

Reception was kind and friendly. I arrived earlier than my schedule and they did my procedure right away. No wait time. Technician was gentle and helpful. She explained to me how she will take the images and how I should position myself. I highly recommend this screening center.

I have had many mammograms, I know they can be uncomfortable but today my mammograms was horrific! I was brought into the room by an Asian woman who could hardly speak English - I didn’t understand a word with the mask and the speed of her speech - I had to change in front of her. She was rough, the actual mammogram was painful because she was very careless of placing my breast in the device. She was not friendly, I felt upset when I left, she did not treat me like a person!

I have been seeing this ultrasound clinic for many years and it has prevented several illnesses. This clinic employs absolute professionals of the highest category. For many years and many times, the examination was carried out by ultrasound specialist Vera, who is always very attentive and responsible. I recommend this clinic to everyone.

Ultrasound technician was rude and had no manners. She was an old lady who didn't even say hi although I greeted and asked her how her day was going, she ignored me and told me to lay down.
You don't get a copy of baby's Ultrasound printed or have access to digital pictures taken either. Whereas other places they do both.
Took forever and constant calling for them to send my results to my doctor. Not returning here.

It’s my first time here in this clinic and it was a great experience because I don’t have an appointment but they checked me in on time. I love their services. The staff are very nice and friendly.

Walked in late for an x ray as the website says the places open to 8 Pm. Also called numerous times before arriving but no one picked up. Was told by the reception the lab person left at 2:30PM that day?! Wished the info was published on website or communicated better!

I recently visited the X-Ray and Diagnostic clinic as I was recommended this clinic by many of my friends and family. The clinic is also only a 5 minute drive from my house, I love the convenience! It was my first time visiting this clinic and when I was greeted by the staff at the front desk, everyone was super nice and friendly.

I did my dating ultrasound and did not need an appointment, I just walked in. I only waited about 15 minutes! My ultrasound technician was awesome! She made me feel very comfortable and while she was doing the ultrasound, she turned the screen to face me and she was explaining everything that was on the screen.

The ultrasound was thorough and quick! She even allowed my husband to come into the room at the end of the ultrasound and she explained everything again; where the yolk sac is, the baby’s heart beat, the baby’s measurements, etc.

I had such a great experience here and I will be coming back. Now I know why many of my friends and family recommended this place to me. I will definitely recommend this clinic to anyone to have an ultrasound or diagnostic services.

This place is awesome. Had to do a repeat US here for a follow up OB dating US I had done elsewhere last week. Front desk staff are polite and respectful with smiles on their faces. Efficient and time-bounded. My ultrasound tech was Ban and she was very thorough, transparent and detailed. She made me feel less anxious about my experience today. Ultra sound place is nice and plan

This is hands down the best walk in ultrasound and x ray lab in Mississauga. I travel 15 kms to get my ultrasounds done here as opposed to a lab 5 minutes away from my house.

The staff take their job serious and ensure they do not miss anything.

I hope the owner of the lab consider doing some renovations as the office looks a little out dated and could use re designing.

To many clinics in Mississauga with an appointment and had to wait longer then I waited at this diagnostic center. Farrah was polite kind and respectful. She was very compassionate and treated me very nicely. I would definitely go there again if I have to do any sort of diagnostic work.

Walk-in for most tests. They are fast and efficient. Wait time depends on the place traffic so allow yourself extra time (I find it better than other places where even if you book weeks in advance they may cancel on you the day before). I did ultrasound twice. Took 1:30 hour first time and 1:00 hour second time from walking in to leaving out the door. Two different technicians in each visit and I had no issues with either. Test Report takes 3 days to get to the ordering physicians. In all, it is the best option if you want test done same week. Some tests however must be scheduled ahead. The receptionist on the phone asks about the test and then advise if walk-in or by appointment.

My technician was wonderful. Explained everything well, very knowledgeable and kind. Convenient location and well set up. Reception could be better, impatient and unfriendly is how I would describe the clerk when I was there. I was surprised based on the very high rating of this clinic.

I did my first trimester screening here. Technician Samia is a great lady. She gives u very informative talk and let u feel not worried. She is also really kind. Me and my husband really appreciated her service and will continue come here for future tests. The ladies in the front desk are also very nice and friendly. Thank you guys for your great service

The people that work at the front desk are some of the most professional and nicest people I've come across. It's refreshing to see such people work at these medical places. Always a smile when you walk in, and when you call, it's just as great. The technicians are also really wonderful, tells you what they are doing, walks you through it, and overall, just really friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!

I had to do ultrasounds during My pregnancy for the whole 9 months. Technican Kawnain did a wonderful job my baby was a bit stubborn at times but she took her time and did everything possible to complete the ultrasound each time even if it took longer than it should. I definitely recommend going to this clinic to do ultrasounds. I had a great experience she was very nice and always asking if I was okay and told me each time when she needed to put pressure.

Place is a COMPLETE JOKE. They lose requests after waiting 3 weeks and they also have the tenacity to tell me they pick and chose when a MRI or CT scan must be done by how serious the case is. Go to GNMI in Mississauga. Got an MRI appointment in 2 weeks and they're open 24 hours.

Was referred for an MRI and received an appointment at 2:10am. When I called to ask for a daytime appointment, I was advised that they don't do MRIs without contrast during the day. I tried to explain that I'm over 1 hr away, I'm unable to drive, have no way to get there and have a small child. I was told they couldn't accommodate me regardless of reason. Ottawa Hospital has some of the worst service. I now have to take a train 2 hours our of town to a city where daytime appointments are the norm. I don't suggest going to the Ottawa hospital. Stay away. When they can't help someone who desperately needs this diagnostic tool and insist on ridiculous hours, you know that patient care isn't the priority. I'm appaled and will be moving forward with complaints.

Booked an appointment here and they called me in to come at 4:00PM. Ended up waiting for 2 hours until 6:00PM and I had to leave to go for work. Complete waste of time. Lady at the receptionist was extremely rude and insensitive as well.

I had a Great first experience at this facility.
First there is lots of free parking.
Secondly the facility is very spacious, and the front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.
The technologist that performed my mammogram (Natalie) was super friendly and very experienced. She explained everything in detail and made sure I was comfortable during the process and it was not at all as uncomfortable as I remember from my previous one a year ago at a different facility.
Finally the results were available on MyChart that very evening - although the technologist did explain it might take a few days.
All in all a five star service. I will definitely be returning here for any future mammograms.

Amazing experience! The pandemic was a trying time. My surgery was postponed twice. I was also moved from my surgeon to Dr. Seligman. He called and explained everything to me. I had a double knee replacement which required me to go into a rehab facility. Dr. Seligman checked in on me a couple of times. I felt he had a decent bedside manner but more importantly he answered my questions and I felt confident I was in the right hands. Thank you!

Post surgery I hiked in Banff/Lake Louise, travelled all around Spain for a couple of months and just came back from Norway. I wouldn’t have been able to do any this without the surgery and the excellent team that supported me. Thanks you!

Patients If you book an appointment to see doctor Apple B just know your appointment times are useless I had an appointment at 12:10 and now 12:42 and there’s apparently 4 more people ahead of me. They book you with an appointment and you end up sitting around to see the doctors for about 2-4 hours. The lady at the reception is extremely rude and insensitive

Very unsupportive staff. I was nervous for my transvaginal ultrasound as I occasionally faint for medical procedures. The first technician was ok, she wasn’t very patient but became better after I was able to relax. She did most of the ultrasound except was my right ovary was “not showing clearly” I did everything she asked me to do (apply pressure etc) but it wasn’t working so she called her “superior” for help. When the superior came in to do my ultrasound she was very rude and said I have to help (even though I was) and was very unsympathetic. How is it my fault if the technician is having difficulty seeing something when I am doing everything that I am asked to do? I will definitely not be back here for any future appointments

I just had the worst experience ever having and ultrasound to see my baby. The technician was awful. I never experienced so much pain . I’m in tears as I write this. I had so much anxiety and pain through the processes. She was having difficulty taking picture because of the babies position, but I would ask her questions such as, ”is it there? Can you see it at least ? My partner needs to go to work is he able to come in at all?” She would answer me , nothing ! As if I was speaking to a wall. Until I told her, “ you are scaring me !” She was giggling, while hurting me. I had a technician on the past would suggest me to do things such as cough, move around, walk for a bit to see if baby would move and , was successful. This woman was so rough and wouldn’t listen to anything I had to say nor me being in pain. Someone had told me this was a good place. Is definitely Not! Made me feel so scared for me and my unborn baby.

I have nothing but positives to say about this place. Parking is ample, accessible, and free. I had a short wait when I got to the clinic and the receptionist Tracy was friendly and helpful. My excellent technician, Jenn, clearly explained every step of the process as we went through it, and made sure I was okay at every step. A mammogram is an uncomfortable experience by nature - there's no getting around that - but Jenn made me feel a lot more at ease. My appointment went perfectly smoothly.

First time I went here for an abdomen ultrasound and it was an absolute nightmare because the Philippino trainee guy used too much pressure on my stomach even tho I told him it hurts. It triggered my severe ulcer pain and I had to take 2 days off from work staying at home dying.
Second time I went for a pelvic ultrasound and it was so much better. The female technician was gentle and did her job precisely.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience except for the first time.

Had a not great experience at another clinic for pregnancy ultrasound. Switched to this clinic for my second ultrasound and had a wonderful experience! Technician was lovely & professional. Highly recommend.

I did some research into medical facilities near my home and with all of the different services offered, I thought that this one would be the best fit for me as, in theory, it's all convenient. There was a walk in clinic, testing laboratory, and OBGYN services offered in that same building. I am currently pregnant so this was a huge draw.

I came in on a Saturday at 11AM for walk in services and was told by the clerk at the front desk that walk ins are only on Wednesdays since I was not a patient. This was to be found nowhere on the website, no where on the notices inside, nothing. The website only notes that walk in clinic is open from Monday to Saturday at such and such time, which I arrived within.

I did try to call beforehand to ask about the hours and specific requirements, as I understand that during COVID protocols for each office are different. No one picked up both times I called, though when in as arrived, there were at least 2 receptionists behind the desk and about 5 people in the waiting room.

Suffice to say I was incredibly disappointed and disheartened as I did not want to travel far and also wait a long time at other clinics further clinics with less amenities. I am even more disappointed that walk in services which were advertised as available were in fact not available. I believe that this should be made apparent from the get-go and posted on the website or as an automated message through the switchboard, not as a revelation when someone just arrives there.

I was at the facility earlier today. Waiting area is spacious and relax. Staff are professional and friendly. It was my first time there and I will have absolutely no reservation at recommending it to anyone who needs the service.

I tried to go to the walk-in clinic yesterday, turned out that it was closed for some reason. I called the office but no one answered, and I asked people in the 2nd floor but they had no clue. If there were some sort of emergency and they had to close the clinic, I would understand. But there was no information either on their door or on the website. I find it quite disturbing. Never going nor recommending their walk-in clinic.

Love this place. The technician is very friendly and professional,she always let me take a video of the ultrasound and give me good baby ultrasound picture. The staff are friendly too and its easy to ask them for appointments,they will call you the day before your appointment so you wont forget. I highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend this to all potential patients/clients. The service is efficient, the receptionist is kind, and the staff are so comforting during the procedures. They offer walk ins and appointments. It’s in a little hidden spot next to Cash Money. Go there everyone.

I normally do not write reviews, this clinic is worth visiting! It was my second visit in 2 years to this location. The receptionist was very friendly. No waiting! No line ups and no one in the waiting room. The technician that performs the test is the best I have ever seen. Friendly, helpful and makes an uncomfortable visit not so uncomfortable. Julie's bedside manner was excellent. She was patient, attentive and empathetic. We had a great conversation and I learned a lot. That is how the relationship with every medical professional and patient should be. For the first time didn't seem like talking to a robot.
