Never know what you are going to find here! It's like a treasure hunt every time.

Items are not bad. Staff was not helpful when it can to the exchange policy. When trying to understand how the policy worked the manager I was speaking to was yelling and not giving solutions. Overall I have had better experiences at other locations.

I went a couple weeks ago to this value village location and not only could I barely find anything that wasn’t overpriced, but when I thought the workers could help me out, I just received lots of passive aggressive behaviour and impatience from Julie which already added to my rough day. It is a disorganized cesspool of garbage and the begrudging teen staff don’t make your life any easier.
Save your money.

Selection is okay but the prices are getting ridiculous, as everyone knows. Practically all the jewelry is kept in cases now, even the really cheap stuff that no one wants. And of course there’s no one there to bring the jewelry out if you’d like to see or purchase it because they cut all the staff since they have self checkout machines now.

I found one clothing item on my visit and was satisfied with it. I'm shocked however to see Value Village selling individual women's underwear (why can't they donate it to a women's shelter!?) And my other point of concern is that the prices are generally too high.

One of the best selections in the city. Thanks, middle-class Orleansers. Four stars because Value Village is for-profit and prices are way too high for a thrift shop whose inventory is acquired for free.

Such great variety, and so much choice! The store gets busy and the lineup is hard to manage sometimes. Prepare to be in line on the weekends.

An employee named Amanda helped my wife, son, and I out at Self Checkout. Her kindness was wonderful. I wanted to thank her more in person but we had to leave.

This store was clean, had big selection, and the staff were well helpful. If I'm in the neighborhood I'll try to come back.

My mom who is a senior citizen enjoys purchasing clothing & bedding items to send to less fortunate in our country & I dont mind driving her to & from this store each time. Yesterday, after scanning the items, we needed help on how to proceed to pay, I kindly (excused me can you please help us here?) asked one of the sales clerks (Grace) to show us how we could proceed with the self service payment (my mom always paid in a cash register with a sales clerk but this day there was a long line). Grace came very angry & rough pointing buttons so hard on us, making us felt so stupid & ignorant. She also stated that we should not be calling her like a taxi catering us, she acted so mean to me & my mother & this was a shame on our part being treated like that. Grace words and actions was a very poor customer service that should not be tolerated especially dealing with a 64 year old & a 91 year old ladies. We went to see the manager to inform her about this incident, the manager gave us a 20% coupon to use next time as an apology gratitude. This is not what we need, the management of this store should train their people to act with kindness, courtesy & professionalism. Grace is not a right person to work in a customer service environment like Value Village.

Do not believe if you see “it works”. My son wanted to buy an reader on March 17 at 5:00 pm 2024 at the VV branch in Barrhaven; The sticker said “works.” We bought it and the Seller told us that we could return it and get other things, but not the money. She said it works. And it actually turns on, but you can’t use it, because it’s broken inside, there were errors and it’s impossible to fix it. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO USE THIS AS A READER THAT WAS SOLD TO US AS WORKING! I tried to return it on Tuesday March 19, 2024 because we are trying to figure out if we are stupid or if we are really being scammed... But it was both... On Tuesday night the manager told me there should be a sticker "because you can" bring your device." My son took it off because HE BELIEVED it worked. that they are not lying. I asked to call the seller who sold it to us, since it was a “working” one, but the manager told me that it was not working today. So I asked the manager to watch the video because we were there and it was 2 days ago. She told us: “No, I’m not going to do this and I don’t want to talk to you anymore.” We left. So, they are deceiving you by writing “it works”, but this is not true. In general, they deceived not me, but the child, and we, of course, will not come to them again.

Pretty decent selection but I’ve never been a fan of places like Value Village. Go to the Salvation Army or to other non profits. Value Village is not a non profit so they will charge more to try and make more. If you are genuinely looking for clothes and stuff for cheap as many of us are nowadays look for other thrift stores. As for their selection for you out there thrifting for fun there was a huge selection here and so many cool items that I wish I could snatch up. Keep in mind that this place was pretty busy so come quick if you want the good stuff.

Overpriced and substandard merchandise leaves this chain a must miss in your thrift store hunt and itinerary. Keep searching right past any of their locations. Recent news reports and employee testimonials are absolutely valid about their pricing structure!

A worker kindly stated "we prefer you donate a bags worth of items to get a coupon" when I brought in an article of clothing for a coupon. I'm giving you something for free and in turn you sell it for profit. God forbid you give a coupon to buy something you also received for free. Ever since then I go out of my way to donate one thing for a coupon. Your prices are becoming ridiculous and VV made half a billion dollars in profit from items you got for free last year. Be gratefull I donated at all.

Store could definitely be in better shape. Items feel abit thrown in place but overall an ok experience. Prices have continued to climb on products over the years so hard to find a deal worth buying that isn't on a sell forum for less

Prices keep going up (to the point the cheapest pair of jeans is 20$?). However, staff is friendly and do their best to keep an organised and clean interior.

no change rooms, can’t get a refund if you buy something to try it on at home and it doesn’t fit.

Security guard feels like an overkill, but love the self checkout. Prices kind of high for second hand store

Had the item I wanted, but I'm taking stars away for only having self-checkouts open. If I don't get a staff discount, then don't expect me to want to check myself out.

Choice is important to me and that's what Value Village offers. This store was organized and clean. Fitting rooms available which helps me make wise choices.

Prices are so high that it is cheaper to buy brand new at Walmart. They are supposed to be a helping business but no, they are all about money and dont care about the poor and homeless. They are heartless anad crooks.

The experience was in line with my expectations for a Value Village - a well arranged array of items and most of what I usually seek was readily accessible. During my visit, I had a pleasant conversation with a courteous staff member at the checkout. If circumstances allowed, I would frequent this store more often for clothing.

Went looking for a chair... The price is okay, better than the Restore ($25 vs $70) but still didn't find what I was looking for. Plenty of items to look at though! No complaints. I'll check back another day!

Spacious, clean store with great staff. I always find more than what I'm looking for. You have to know your prices as some are an incredible deal whereas others are over priced but it all balances out. Always happy with my purchases! Its too bad they're not bringing back the change rooms.

I love having the option to recycle or provide more life to products I no longer need or use. Being able to drop off just about anything while helping my community is fantastic. I've purchased some used books in the past. The only issue is you have to take the time to really look it over to make sure items are not damaged or smell terrible. You'll always find some very random stuff and possible gems. This location is very busy but seems to be well managed. Some items are pretty rough or dirty though and the price doesn't always make sense. Plenty of parking available in multiple lots. Very convenient business hours.
