Best Toll booths in Canada

It would be nice if they kept you updated on the situation you are facing when you are languishing in the lineup for 6 hours

I'm going to give it a 3 just because the staff were nice. Please explain to how this can happen, I get to the ferry ticket line at 4:00 am they're not open yet but only 3 cars in front of me waiting in the over height and over length line then the staff open the booths at 5:30 I get to the booth and the young woman asked me do I have a reservation I replied no that's why I was here at just before 4:00 am. She states that the 6:10 boat is full, How can this be possible when you can't reserve 100% of the boat don't forget only 3 vehicles there before me.Something not making sense here. I requesting compensation of the $191.00 it cost me or ticket voucher thx

Waited 8 hours in the sun, was told different things about why we wait so long, they were sending the ferry to the closer islands then the that took 45 minutes to hour. Nobody that was in line as very happy.

I arrived 1.5 hrs before my planned boat yet I missed it and the following 2 boats because this horrible crown corporation can sell up to 80% of the sailings as reserved sailing. This is nonsense, what ever happened to first come first served? This is supposed to be a continuation of the highway system. I feel , they sell the reserved spaces as a cash grab for a very poorly run enterprise. The provincial government continues to alow this business to run this way . Shameful.

Love getting here early so we can walk around the village.

For 50 years I have been using the ferry.. it seems functionality has gotten WORSE ! WE NEED BETTER FERRIES AND MORE RUNS A DAY.. UNLESS YOU ARE RICH AND WANT TO SPEND MORE OF YOUR MONEY FOR RESERVATION

The ferry corporation needs take advantage of the lower empty parking lot so people don't get stuck up on the hill before the booths with no place to go but sit and be miserable....do they not see that this is not good customer service?????

Nice location to wait for a ferry. Nice, helpful and friendly staff. Washrooms we’re out of service for maintenance and may be an issue for some. We had a 1.5 hour wait and were okay but was in the car for 3 hours before we arrived.
