A must visit place for the food lovers. If you are a person who loves to try food with lots of flavours. The food open all the taste buds and the place can have all the stars for sure.

We waited for 45min-1h to get a seat. But truly worth the wait. The service was super fast. This is not a place you can go out and enjoy the time hanging out with your loved ones. This is a place you just go for the good food.

Servers were really nice and helped us to get the best items from the menu. We tried the Delhi Masala Momo, Pork Chili and Himalayan Kitchen Special Chow Mein. The pork chili comes with white rice as well. All the dishes were top notch. We were 2 people and we had more than enough food. The portion sizes were great. I think the Momo and the Pork chili would have been more than enough for 2 of us.

I would definitely visit them again with friends and family as i want everyone to try this place.

I spotted Himalayan Kitchen on Google Maps while visiting Toronto. After loving my first experience eating momos earlier this year and seeing how good the reviews were for this place, I knew I had to pay a visit. They have a variety of momos, including steamed, fried, and even specialty ones like the Delhi Masala Momo. Personally, I still prefer the traditional steamed momos, but they were all excellent.
To be fair Quality of food was overhyped or may be it was weekend so they didn't put much efforts. Ordered Mango Lassi but it was more like Mango buttermilk. There were various variations of momos which tastes almost similar.
(4 people - 3 momos plate, 1 honey chilly potato - 64$)

Attentive service. Excellent recommendations.
The flavours and spices made this meal very satisfying. We had appetizer chicken lollipops,
Manchurian fish and sizzling Tandoori beef momos with rice. If you want a delicious meal, come try it!

Mixed review.

The food was just awesome. Really tasty and mouth-watering and spicy for sure. There was good area parking available on the meter right outside the restaurant. Quantity of the food is just right.

The atmosphere was a little too crowded. Lineups are huge we had a 45-minute wait time on a Saturday. They don't take reservations. A little too small for a restaurant.

The service was fast they would bring food out very quickly but the only thing odd we found as soon as you finish your plate they would come to say "Would you like a bill" basically like get out of here if you're done eating. And we observed that we 3 different tables. It's like they want people to enjoy the food and time they just want them to eat and get the H out of there.

I would recommend the food but not the service or dining in.

We heard alot about this place and the famous $8 breakfast. Finally gave it a try along with some veggie Momos. This meal was amazing! The food came out fresh, the portions are very generous and the service was amazing. We asked to exclude the egg and they even offered more of the chickpea curry. We'll definitely be coming back!

Had to wait 40 minutes since we had a party of 6, but all the food was so delicious! We were stuffed and the flavors were so strong too. I think the honey chili fries were my favorite!
Must try the awesome fish fry and brocolli., steamed momos, chilly fries. Great value for the taste. Light on your pocket. Amazing staff, fast and courteous service.

Start of the day with this delicious chicken momo at a Nepalese restaurant... What a taste 😋😋❤❤😍😍

A must visit place. Highly recommended... The owner is polite... You will love being here 🙂
I was very excited to try momos and thupka in this restaurant as shown in their menu but when it was served it was not even close to the taste. The momos layering was so thick and chicken was very very less and thenthuk there was no vegetables. It was total waste of money. From personal experience I would not recommend anyone going here and it’s it was not worth money and experience. I have attached photos also. They didn’t have courtesy to not charge us less.

I tried the beef curry , it was the best curry I have ever taste in Toronto, it was excellent amount of spices and curry . It s fast services and amazing environment all around . Definitely going back for that delicious curry …
Got the garlic ginger chicken (left) and mixed momo. Very good, simple, tasty food, but nothing particularly special or different (especially the chicken dish). Excellent value for the price which hovered around the $10 mark per dish before tax. Service could be more attentive and without the attitude. I kept asking for hot sauce on the side and the person kept repeating it as "hot sauce" so I was concerned they would put it right on the food. When I asked for clarification that they understood the hot sauce was to be put on the side, he raised his voice and hung up the phone.

Went to Little Tibet and ended up here for a quick bite. Ordered fried momo, Laphing, and the thenthuk. Really liked the laphing and thenthuk. Momo were just ok. The server was nice but the food took a long time to come. I’d say try the laphing for sure.

Really enjoyed going there for momo and food there! We order only 2 main+deep fried bread and a yummy drink, was still a lot left at the end!
Really good 😊 quantity of food, need to go back to try more flavours for sure!

Good spot for momos! We got the steamed chicken one and enjoyed it. Heads up, you'll have to wait 10-15 minutes for the meal so feel free to walk around and come back when it's ready.

Delightfully unassuming spot for momos, with a few available seats outdoors and indoors. Tried the steamed beef momos here and enjoyed them. Very friendly staff as well. Would recommend for smaller groups if dining there, at most 4 people.

Best momo in town. Must visit.
Thay have the authentic Tibetan taste
Delicious!
We've ordered twice from here so far, and have loved every dish.

I first ordered the chili momos, which were fantastic and yes, VERY spicy! Clears out the sinuses :P
I then ordered the fried beef momos and they're wonderful as well! Can't wait to try more things!
The momos were delicious. Pork fried momos were the best. Manchurian momos were in Gravy but the momo itself was cold. Shap-Ta (beef) was good.

Our first visit to this Cute Cafe and we were not disappointed. My 6 years old daughter and 3 years old son loved the momos here.
Food, Service and atmosphere was all excellent. We’ll definitely bring my kids back here after their swimming class every Sunday!

Thank you 😊

Amazing experience! Great cost/benefit, the staff is extremely nice and polite, and the food is delicious. I asked the gentleman at the counter what should I order, and he suggested the fried dumplings. Geez, the portion size is huge! Their hot sauce is also extremely tasty. Probably two people would be able to share it.

Fast service and beautiful tranquil atmosphere. Loved the Tibetan music playing in the background! We ordered momos, shapta (beef dish), chilli fish, and chilli chicken and everything was delicious! Bathrooms were also very clean which is always a bonus! Lovely owners too. They’re very kind and hospitable!

The pictures speak for themselves but let me add my 2 cents anyways. The staff is very friendly and the food here is absolutely delicious. Many other dishes should be pictured here but they were eaten before the thought of pics crossed my mind. The momos are some of the, if not the best in the city. Make sure you try the chow mein, ask for a fried egg on top of if you really want to kick it up another level. The house tea is also delicious, don't forget to ask for a cup. Will be going back to try the Kotthu roti next!
Such a hidden gem! Very unassuming, but the atmosphere was so nice and the food was delicious. Staff were kind and had great recommendations. We enjoyed Tibetan tea, mutton curry, and veggie momos. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting good food!
Delicious Tibetan food that hit the spot.

My personal favourites were the chilli potatoes and the laphing, which both came out spicy and bold with flavours.

We got the chilli veggie momos which were done fresh and the momo pieces were generous in size and stuffings.

As usual, by pairing the spicy food with the Tibetan butter tea in the wintry weather, we knew our Tibetan gastronomic experience was completed well at Little Tibet.

For all the dishes that we had including 3 cups of Tibetan tea, we paid a total of $48 including taxes and tips which I must add that in today’s inflationary environment in downtown Toronto, the price was very reasonable for the big portions served here.

I am definitely returning to try their other dishes.

Overall, i found the place good. I had heard a lot about the food here, so maybe my expectations were very high.

Pros:
1. Tibetan owned place so the food and flavours seemed authentic. This is a small place with 5 small tables, and a kitchen at the back
2. Price is good
3. Food is alright: while I have had better Tibetan food and momos, the food was decent. I had the momo platter, and thupka here.
4. Good location in little Tibet in Parkdale
The food looks and tastes nothing like advertised. No idea where all the good reviews come from. The chow mein was basically boiled noodles and the fried dumplings were soggy, pale and plain. Save your money and do not order a takeout from this place. Gross.

Was my first ever time eating Tibetan food in Toronto and I knew Norling would not disappoint, especially since it’s located in the Little Tibet neighbourhood.

Although the restaurant serves other Indian based dishes, we decided to stick the Tibetan food. As such, we got the la phing which was my personal favourite as someone who loves spicy food. The vegetable momos were done fresh and flavourful, although the chilli option did not really elevate the flavour profile apart from adding some sweetness to the momos.

We had a vegetable dish that had an eggplant based patty looking dish which accompanied well with rice and even better with the Tingmo (steamed buns). The freshness of the Tingmo was one of the highlights of our evening, if only they had more spicy Tibetan dishes to pair with it.

Nevertheless, I will return here to try out the more Indian seeming dishes and definitely again for the La Phing.

I love their momos! Generous portion and size = big momos x 10 = $9.50 (as of Nov2022). They seem to be doing only takeout now with steamed momos (beef, pork, chicken, and veggies) only, but I like steamed ones. Very nice garlic flavour and they come with nice chilli sauce etc. They steam momos upon order so you'll need 15 min to wait - grab some butter tea and I love chatting with them while waiting. Yeah there are other good places in this neighbourhood but I like their momos here so I'll keep coming back.

Don't let the exterior fool you. Very nice cozy place with lots of Tibetan, Indian, Hakka options. Food was good, bit different (for ex. Manchurian preparation had tomatoes in it) with a Tibetan twist. Service was also good.

Small mom and pop shop. Heads up that there usually is a 10 minute wait but it is worth it. I have gotten the Tibetan Momo and Tamang Momo. Everything always comes out piping hot. 4.5/5 would recommend. Honestly you get so much for $8

I ordered via Uber eats hoping to get authentic Tibetan Momo’s and dish’s. unfortunately it turned out to be a major disappointment. The momos are the worst that I have eaten in my life . The wrapper was very think and the meat was dry and uninspiring. Other dishes, noodles, also tasted stale. It is a disgrace to the wonderful Tibetan cuisine

Amazing incredible food full of flavours !! Very authentic and original , fish pakora was cooked to perfection , the curry chicken and the chicken momos r one of the best things to order , great prices as well definitely recommend!
This place was AMAZING and I'll 100% be going back. The food was DELICIOUS.
We ordered even more after this round and everything was spiced to perfection. The Momo's were excellent but honestly, those have to be the best noodles (garlic chilli) I've ever had in my life. Wish I could give them 11 stars.

Saw some good reviews so I decided to try it. My friend got the curry chicken and we shared some beef momos and I got a vegetarian chow mein.
The beef momos were my least favorite. They seem dried out on the outside. So I must’ve gotten bad ones because reviews were positive on their momos.
There was some people we knew there and she had bought the deep fried paley. There was also these massive pan fried ones there to purchase as well. She got us to sample the deep-fried ones and they were very soft and the texture was really nice. I would’ve bought some if I didn’t already have bread at home.
My friend liked the curry chicken. It was a curry chicken with bones so if you don’t like dealing with bones you won’t like that.
The vegetarian chow mein had tofu in it and a bit of bok choy mushroom and scallions. I liked it.
I would definitely go back to buy the bread(paley)
Prices were reasonable considering prices post Covid.

Update:
I went back a week later and tried the momos again. This time beef & veggie plus a thali with chicken (you can choose between chicken, beef & veggie).
My momos were the same. Dry almost hard wrapping. So definitely my least favourite beef momo in parkdale and I’ve eaten at lots of places in parkdale. I’m new posting here but if you look elsewhere I’ve made lots of reviews you can read about.
The thali was decent. Dhal was alright, veggies nothing special.chicken was good but I would likely just order the curry chicken stand alone next time. It was better than the thali.
I was gonna buy one of those giant palay breads but they only make them in the morning and once they sell out, they are gone.
Will have to stop by at lunch to get one

Good place to have Tibetan food. We ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles (Spicy) and found them not very spicy as per Indian liking.
Chilli Garlic Noodles were actually sweet and pink in color for some reason.
Shrimp Sizzler was good although the quantity of shrimps could have been more.
Nonetheless we enjoyed the food. Will visit again.

I’ve been to all the Tibetan restaurants in the area and this one is for sure up there in my favourites!

I ordered pork chilly with gravy (mild),
Egg fried rice, spicy chicken wings (mild) and a mango lassi.

The pork chilly dry with more spice would’ve tasted better in my opinion. Egg fried rice was really good. And the chicken wings were reallly good!! The mango lassi was one of the best lassis have had!

This place used to be great, but we just ordered take out and had a horrible experience. After reading some of the other reviews, I see that the management has changed and that makes a lot of sense. The quality of the momos has gone way down hill. They are filled very loosely and they were all squished. The filling itself was bland. We ordered the two vegan options. One of the momos had beef in it and my boyfriend didn't realize until he bit into it, as it was mixed in with the tofu momos. Unfortunately we won't order from here again.

This was my first time ordering from Songtsen, and I’m relatively happy with my pickup order. I’m not familiar with Tibetan foods, so I didn’t know quite how spicy it would be - I order it to be mild, but it was still a bit too spicy for me (I just can’t handle spice). The portion sizes were huge and the prices were super affordable. The flavours were great, but the potatoes in my soup were undercooked, so my soup ended up being a bit crunchy. I’ll definitely go back to try some of their other vegetarian options.

Norling Tibetan Restaurant is one of my favourite place for dining Tibetan authentic food. I strongly recommend Vegetable Manchurian for Vegetarian. One rice bowl is served with it. Chilly potato is highly recommended as a starter for vegetarians. Beef Amdoe Momo (Tibetan dumplings) is strongly to Non-vegetarian. The customer service is excellent and they serve very freshly cooked dishes. You wouldn’t be disappointed if you visited Norling Tibetan Restaurant.

The veg Momo's are great (spinache + paneer).

The beef Momo's are good.

I also liked the laping (spicy cold noodles)
It is undoubtedly the best momos in Toronto. The place is small but the food is really good. They have amazing pork chilly, served with rice or roti. The owner is friendly. And it’s not pricey at all. The Tibetan tea is also soooo good. I would go back to this place again and again had I lived in Toronto.

The food here, specially the momos, is so damn good and for a great deal! It’s a small joint next to TD Bank in Queen St W and I would suggest paying with cash. The service is delightful and they always are happy to see you come back.
Momos, my love, with the wholesome curry or achar is mind blowing here. I usually call them ahead of arrival so that I don’t have to wait and they always happily oblige. The servers there are very friendly and they’ll tell you if you can handle some of the spices or not. They have a good selection of food and it’s always freshly served! Go in with your friends or with your family, you’ll no doubt like the food.
