2023.11.10 Chicken Pad Thai which comes with bean sprouts, eggs and tofu is just very sweet with no salty and no sour flavours; the rice noodles are soggy from too much sauce. It could be called soupy since several tablespoons of the sauce are parts of the dish.
NASTIEST PEOPLE! First thing I see coming in is the worker with her nasty socks standing where they cook the food while the place is open. Disgusting. Ended up getting a refund because they didn’t even have a cover over the open containers of food where her nasty feet were! Then the girl proceeds to tell me how harmful the chemicals are & gets defensive when I ask her why they would do that while cooking peoples food during working hours. Refused to give the mangers name or their own when wanting to file a complaint. They do wrong & try to put it on the customer when they are bringing their nasty habits from home here & expect us to be okay with it. I don’t want your feet near my food! Didn’t even wash her hands or put on gloves before cooking the food after touching stuff.

I have never eaten number 4 as poorly made as them chicken was not cooked. Got the fried rice it was like they are just of the name and nothing else rice were like as it is. Veggies were not cooked as well. And the chicken i ate was the worse chicken i have ever tried. My stomach is upset since i ate that food they barely took 2 min cook it i mean we can say not cooking just giving as it is. I would never go to this location if you don’t wanna waste your money your time your health
I don’t really do google review. But This review is for the lady standing behind the cash. No smile, no greeting, all I got was bad experiences. I do understand English is not her first language, but if you want to work and make money, you should understand your customers’ needs. Using your finger to point the food on the menu is not a great customer service. And when you don’t understand, please say something, not just looking at your customers. I don’t know how your company does training. I couldn’t understand. BTW, I visited this location 3 times, she never understood what I was talking about, and not even a smile, just miserable looking.

I am lying here at St. Michaels Hospital. My wife and daughter who are staying in Toronto close by went yesterday to see if they can find a place with some good food to substitute the hospital cuisine. They brought me back some Tom Yum soup . Wow is all I can say. My family told me about the incredible service and friendly staff. Today they went again and brought me back a small Tom Yum Soup and a super salad wrap. I had the soup earlier and saved the wrap. I just woke up and despite the somewhat intimidating size of the wrap started eating it. What happened in my mouth in terms of flavour and taste is hard to describe. I ate the whole thing because I could not stop. This by far the best wrap I have ever eaten and is quite possibly the best wrap on earth. What the Antibiotics and excellent care I receive at St.Mikes can’t do this wrap will do. I can’t wait to get heal and meet the owners myself. God this wrap made me emotional. Thank you super salad

Quality has gone downhill over the years and prices have gone up. Portions are still decent but the pad Thai chicken I got today had undercooked noodles that were hard, and sauce was lukewarm. Probably was not fried long enough on the wok. I asked for medium spicy and I didn't see any chili flakes, it was mild at best.
Love the chicken wings and fish pad thai. Bonus is the lady that cooks. Best customer service ever! 5 stars all the way
I ordered the "beef" tom yum. The meat was horrible. Very chewy that I couldn't even break it down to swallow. The taste of the meat was off. I am expecting diarrhea soon. The noodles were fine...the tom yum broth was bearable...it had more bean sprouts than noodles. I didn't finish the so called meat..just yuck. What a rip off
Tastes very different, and not in a good way. Don't know what happened to this franchise but across the board, it is no longer reliable. The sauces tastes completely wrong and there is no 'wok hey' flavour imparted from the wok. Sad...
I always order big catered lunches for work meetings from AAamazing Salads. They have the most delicious wraps, beautifully presented lunch boxes and incredible service. They are always reliable and taste delicious. It is always a crowd pleaser when I order from here!
You guys need to check the location of your restaurant!! It is either closed permanently. Nothing is there. Only starbucks. It is ruining your reputation if there was any lol
I don't know why this place has a low rating. I was there for the second time today. Ordered the fried rice with shrimp. It was amazing again🤤.
What makes this place better than any other ramen place in town is a delicious concentrated broth. Can't really say about other things, the portion (medium bowl) seemed a bit smaller than it's usually at other places with the same price tags.

I ordered food yesterday from this location and I used to go there few years ago and used to be delicious but yesterday I was surprised and very very very disappointed my friends and I didn’t like the food at all, no flavour it tasted 0 I don’t know if the change the owner or the chef but was not pleasant at all.
The best ramen experience I've had in Toronto, I am a big fan of melon soda and this is one of the fewest places that I know that offers it, definetely will come back.
Got the regular miso ramen. It was smaller than expected but it was pretty decent. The taste was rich. It was a decent temperature (ie. not scalding hot, but not cool either). There could be more meat though.
This place was recommended to me for my lunch breaks as part of a business trip in Toronto and I must say this is a fantastic place where to have a healthy and tasty lunch!
The owners always welcome you with a big smile and some nice words and it's always a pleasure to go there and to discuss with them.
I'll definitely save this place for when I come back to Toronto.

This place is seriously the best!! The people who work here might honestly be the nicest people in all of Toronto! They have become my friends and always remember my usual order. These guys work SO HARD to produce a product that is fresh, vibrant, consistent, and most important of all, delicious! As a Vegetarian I take the quality of my produce seriously and have never once had an issue with slimy or wilted greens or veg that is less than immaculate. I've told all my friends about here for good reason! They do catering too! Love love love this place! Try it out, you won't regret it!
In my opinion, this is the best salad/bowl place in the city! The ingredients are so fresh and the buddha bowl is my favourite! Not to mention the most delicious balsamic vinaigrette 🤤 that you can also purchase to take it home! I have ordered their catering services for our office multiple times and they never disappoint! Eva and her family are so kind and loving! Highly recommend this place!
So my tomyum soup was super watered down and tasted unpleasantly…. Instead of writing a silent review… I decided to complain to the cashier. She was super helpful and polite, apologized profusely and offered to get me something else…. Had to go with my regular pick… pad Thai… was much better. But much more improvements need to happen in the taste department.
I discovered this place only two months ago and since I have twice per week lunch here. They have a very good variety of salads and bowls. Everything is fresh and looks amazing. The place can get sometimes busy but if you wait a little you will not regret. The buisness is family operated and they put a lot of work, so please be kind and patient, they are really nice. I love the Cobb and the queen salad. The keto options are great too. Recently we tried a veggie wrap with Thai sauce,my husband was amazed by the flavour combinations. The mango smoothie remains my favourite.

Ordered 2 veggie bowl with basil leaves mild, i love to eat thai food once in a while but this location seemed to use more oil than other location i had this food. Except that service is good, parking is great atompshere is good.Not a huge place but it is good for a group of 4 or 6 to have a meal. I haven’t had a more worse experience at Thai Express before. I have ordered at other locations before and have never experienced such horrible customer service. Long story short, I ordered chicken fried rice for me to see after that person who took my order put through the order as veggie instead. I went to speak to the other cashier to see if anything can be done and he simply pointed at somebody else. I asked him if there is someone I could speak to or if he could help me to get it fixed. And he said because he didn’t take my order that he couldn’t help me. That is absolutely ridiculous. If something as this cannot be handle in a proper manner, I can’t imagine the other experiences. On top of this, the food is not what I was expected. No pineapple, but a ton of basil, carrots, broccoli and cabbage. The flavours were totally different than other locations. It’s like they’re trying to fusion the flavours and it’s not working. Honestly, save your money and go to any of the other places in the food court. This place is not worth the trouble.
I ordered the tofu pad see ew. The portion was very generous but the taste was disappointing . Very salty, but the gross part is the bunch of burnt ingredients I got. Burned eggs, some of the tofu was burnt. It is my first visit here, so maybe it’s just my bad luck ☹️
Judas Priest - the sweet n sour shrimp fried rice portion was absolutely tiny, with five measly shrimps and tiny debris of veggies on a few spoonful of rice. When the guy served it up, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing considering the meal cost $18 after tax. Avoid at all cost .

Had the vegetarian Pad Thai ($14) today. The taste was okay but the whole platter had literally two pieces of tofu in it. Could've given 3 stars if the price had been $8. Not worth it.
I ordered thai fried rice with battered beef terrible beef I was told it's crispy so in my mind it's like chicken strips but when served it's so hard if you have false teeth it will surely be broken. Don't ever order battered beef or chicken surely it will ruined your appetite. And it's expensive $15.00 .
I liked to eat pho here, but today's service was the worst. I asked for to go, but they seemed annoyed and just handed me a plastic bag and left without having anytime to ask for another bag. I had to carry like that all the way back home, and I also found a hair in the soup, which isn't even my hair colour. I was really disappointed today, I don't know if I'll go there anytime again.
The kara-miso ramen was so tasty! It’s not really spicy at all, but every component of the dish is to die for ^_^

Good place for healthy soups(They serve salads as well). I had their chicken soup with rice- you can tell from that taste that the food is healthy. The people there are real friendly. I saw many take out orders being prepared while I was trying their soup. Seating for twos available.
I ordered Thai Fried Rice Beef Basil. I got Fried Rice Chicken, NO BASIL NO BEEF! The lady taking my order wasn’t listening and paying attention. She just wanted to take the money I guess because it was end of the day.

We had a Bowl of Tsukemen and Karamiso in combination with a bowl of grilled salmon. Overall the ramen was good but not mind-blowing, a bit disappointed by the overcooked eggs.
For sure they have a very wide and interesting selection on their menu tho.

Paid 39 dollars and change for two chicken general Thai dishes and one spring roll. Totally not worth it at all. Like honestly fill it with veggies not just rice. I can understand limiting the protein size but 3 pieces of green pepper, 3 pieces of tomato and 3 pieces of carrots. Honestly come on! So cheap!

I replied on your form same day and no one has replied to me yet. As a restaurant owner myself this was rather disappointing.
There was hardly any veggies, the sauce tasted terrible and wasn't hot/spicy. The rice was cold and stuck together you'd need a knife to cut it. The meat was precooked, dry and tough. Zero care giving during the prep.

Disappointing.The basil rice witb shrimp that my niece ordered was not as delicious as usual. The shrimp that i tasted was not cooked.
Very colorful signage outside with vibrant looking meals. My Chicken pad Thai was a box of saucy noodles with what I would guess is about three oz of chicken. Tasted more tofu than chicken. 2 stars because the Dr. Pepper was good

Do not order from this location. The manager has absolutely no common sense! I ordered a soup, pure broth all noodles and a few shallots, she tried to tell me she added the vegetables when clearly there were none! Had I seen these comment prior, I would NEVER even considering ordering from this restaurant. I am sure they get many complaints and perhaps it may explain why the manager really could care less!
Thai Express at 7965 Mississauga Road in Husky is a must-visit restaurant! The management and staff are exceptional, providing excellent service and delicious food. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, all of which are expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The Pad Thai and Tom Yum Soup are particular standouts. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The service is fast and efficient, even during peak hours. Overall, I highly recommend Thai Express for a fantastic dining experience!

I ordered fried rice with general Thai chicken on top and they gave me fried rice with chicken nuggets. When I called to ask them the lady was so rude and was yelling and saying that’s what I ordered. I’ve ordered this many times even through Uber from a different location and has always got it right. Save your trip and go to another location because these ladies are just rude and can’t get an order right.

What I got was a pile of hard crunchy pellets mixed into the curry. If there was chicken in them it wasn't recognizable; I picked most of them out, they were so gross. Do not recommend.

Do not go here! I ordered a stir fry on a crisp salad yesterday. Only to come home and find the stir fry was placed on soggy and a very small portion of lettuce!! I paid $15.00 for fried vegetables on soggy lettuce.

I see some bad reviews here and was shocked. This is my daughter's favourite lunch place - close to her school - quick and convenient. She's a fan of cashew chicken stir fry. I gave it a go earlier this week. Delightful. So tasty. The chicken was good, ample cashews, sauce permeated into the rice below, lots of tasty perfectly cooked peppers. Couldn't finish mine - huge portions!

The wait time in the line was typical. Orders went in at a decent rate and people seemed to understand where to wait for their pick up and enjoy watching their lunch being made. From my perfect seat, I was able to witness the two men preparing all food. They were in sync, clarified orders, checked with customers on their level of spices and what I admired the most was the smiles between them and customers. It couldn't have been cool working in that fast pace environment back there serving food over a hot surface, to some customers that perhaps had a busy morning and short on patience and were hangry. These two men remained happy to be serving. During this 'lunch & a show', I witnessed a lunch goer dropped her container of lunch in front of their restaurant. While she attempted to do her best to clean up her lunch from the floor, staff from Thai Express were quick to get out there and clean it up. Not even convinced it was their food but they were quick to the rescue. Well done, Thai Express. 5/5!

Thai Express is located in the middle of the Bloor Islington Plaza food court near the A&W. As part of the food court for the plaza, it's closed on the weekend. It's conveniently accessible via Islington Station underground and an indoor pathway through the plaza.
Food is consistent with the other Thai Express chains. Their Chicken Pad Thai is flavourful, the medium spice was on point, and well-sauced. The staff member was very nice and polite. Food was cooked very quickly and makes for a quick grab-and-go option. Would recommend it if you need to fill a quick craving for Pad Thai!

It’s not a typical Thai express you would expect. Tasteless and super oily. The food there is quite expensive for the portion. I should check the review before I ordered it. General Thai beef that I couldn’t finish. I usually not like give bad review, but this location I would not recommend at all. I saw the owner was replying everyone’s review. However, I think a good restaurant should care their food first then reply people by word. Action is more important than letter.
Fast and fresh. Quick polite service. The food court is quiet with lots of seating. There is a dedicated cleaner who keeps the food court neat and tidy.
This Pad Thai is super yummy, normally it’s hit and miss for me at Thai Express but this was delicious! I did delivery to my office and they gave me utensils, condiments etc but the price is just waaayyy too much. Almost $15 for Pad Thai is very overpriced but I’m sure that’s the chain set price not this exact location. I also added extra noodles and got medium spice, it’s definitely spicy haha so if you cannot tolerate spicy get none at all and I suggest to ask for it in a bowl instead of the small containers! Overall it’s super delicious but I probably won’t go here too often based on the price because this did not even include a drink or side.
Ordered a Veg pad thai for take out today and it was terribly tasteless! It was sweet but that wraps up the taste profile. I've been ordering from Thai express since my high school days, it's the quick comfort food that always hits the mark for the price BUT these days, like most Brampton locations of Thai Express where the cooks are all starting to look like my aunt/uncle back home the quality of the food has been going down. I will never visit this location again and also seek out independent restaurants to cut out Thai express all together. The cook's wok skills looked weak and she herself looked like she couldn't care less. Managers DO BETTER and check the quality the product you're selling. Waste of money and my lunch ruined.
Super friendly service. I always call in to order the Beef pad thai and beef thai noodle soup in advance. I grew up on Thai Express and always have the thai noodle soup. This location's thai noodle soup is the best i've ever had! Its a shame they are closed on weekends.
This charming eatery is the perfect spot to grab a bite while out and about at the mall. The menu features hot, made-to-order dishes that are generously portioned and served up with lightning-fast speed. It's a fantastic little spot that's sure to satisfy your hunger cravings.
I loved the food and the green container is so cute. I visited twice- had the pad thai & thai fried rice and both were delicious. The cute container looks small but actually fills up nice; it’s a good portion. If you’re eating it immediately, beware that it may be hot! I wanted to try the pandan iced tea but unfortunately both times I went it was unavailable.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE food. I ordered pad Thai and it taste yuck. I can't even take one bite in. I order pad Thai alot but it taste different from this location. It taste/ smell more seafood than chicken. I called she said you should have asked for veg. Sauce, come on how this pad thai is different than other location. Save your money. This whole food is going to dustbin. Notice tofu in chicken pad Thai. I read reviews now, and most of people faced same problem, I don't think any action is being taken.
Honestly the worst Thai Express experience I've had. I love eatting to Thai Express when I'm at a mall but this has to be by far the worse experience. The pad thai had no flavour and was very watery. Pad thai is supposed to be a dry noodle.
I went back to complain and they told me thats how pad thai is. I've had pad thai many times and this definitely isnt how its supposed to look or taste. They would not offer to remake it properly or a refund.. horrible customer service.
This is also the only thai express that does not serve take out in the regular take out boxes. The owners instead deem to use cheaper styrofoam containers. I feel like a lot of corners are probably cut at this store.

I ordered the General Thai Chicken (like I have done dozens of times before at other Thai Express locations) but this time it was served with frozen chicken nuggets in it! I was so disgusted I returned it and ask for the beef version. That also came with frozen beef nuggets. Terribly disappointing! Not real Thai! After years of buying their food, I will never do it again!
Even though it was a straight forward order, it’s absolutely messed up and now the establishment is closed for the night so I can’t bring it back and get it fixed.

I like peanuts!! Said they could give me 4 so I thought over a cheap condiment, really? So I asked for a refund because they don't deserve my money. They refused. Finally, after me staying firm they refunded my money. So over two packs of nuts they lost a transaction and lost a customer.
Just go up the street to the location at Financial Drive. The service and food is MUCH better there.

I ordered spicy fried rice but the rice was not spicy even after reminding them twice. The behaviour of associate changed after I paid for the food, they were like now you have paid for it so you don’t matter. They will treat you good as long as you haven’t bought anything which is confusing like I paid for my order then don’t be rude. They don’t follow the instructions properly. I would not recommend this location. If you want good experience then visit st vital centre location, they make great fried rice and follow all the instructions.
They didn’t bother to put anything inside the container, I said why these pictures on the menu has nothing to do with what you give so he said: It’s almost empty, this is kale Caesar Salad with chicken! They’ve made it clear that “this is what it is and everywhere are the same!” They mentioned I can go to Mac Donald instead. I paid $12 for something worth $3. This is clearly a rubbery.
This place used to be good, but not anymore. I ordered the basil fried rice and it tasted like soup with all the oil in it. Tilting the plate creates a puddle of grease at the bottom. God knows how much oil I've eaten. Felt disgusted after eating. Picture included.
I ordered mild spicy Pad Sew, the food was delicious, and the portion was enough for two ladies. Personals have freindly behavior. Nice packing. Highly recommend it.

Contrary to other posts here, this Thai Express has a better flavour than any other Thai Express I've ever been to, in a mall or on the street.
The main reason I'm in love with Thai Food is this location specifically.

The flavours are very pronounced and not washed out like in other places I've been to, and the options you get (add any veggie specifically, or double up on protein; I go for beef and chicken) make this place a stand out.
On top of everything, plenty of other Thai Express locations have been very easy on the meat, never enough, while this place, I can have meat in every bite and then have some left over at the bottom.
Huge disclaimer, I only get the Pad-Thai and Bok-Bok Bag (basically popcorn chicken, super tasty), but these have been so good, that they have me coming back here all of 2020 and 2021 so far, and there's no stopping in sight! I get food at least once a month from here!!

I love their pineapple fried rice. Craving some spicy Thai, give this place a try. I’ve tried fried rice from many locations but this one is the best and my favourite and it worth the money. I usually go to Scarborough town centre or the one at university ave downtown. Both are great locations where town centre is usually busy.
I always get the Thai fried rice here, consistently delicious and good spice level. One of the better value options in the food court.
I love Pad Thai ❤️ I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai but there wasn’t a lot of shrimp 🍤 The flavour was good but too spicy 🌶 the noodles were very dry🍝 The price was too high a food court and for what I got 💰 I just got coupons in the mail I might go back and try something else.
Yummmm!! Ordered the VEGAN pad Thai and wow!!! It was amazing!! So flavourful and filling! I was so impressed that they had 6 items on their menu that could be made vegan. I highly recommend coming here, the staff is polite and quick. The value and deliciousness are so worth it! I will for sure be back hopefully to try some other vegan menu items!

This is the worst Thai express. Avoid at all costs!!! First of of all the guy was rubbing his nose a whole bunch of times without gloves and then back to the wok and touching the food. The pad Thai was soaked in sauce almost like a soup and the general Thai beef was disgusting it was so dry and the battered beef was hard. It tasted so old. Will never return here.
Ok for mall food. Quick. A little high on the price side. We had general thai chicken and a small soup. Soup tasted more like pho vietnamese style.
This place is HORRIBLE. Tom yum soup had no flavour. No taste. Bunch of sticky carrots stuck to the bottom of the bowl. Horrible experience. Customer service won’t help. Left the bowl at the counter. The server has no clue about cooking or customer service.
For fast food, I find Thai Express usually hits the spot. The server who took my order seemed relatively disinterested but the man who gave me my food was much more invested and friendlier. When on the move and you don't have time for "proper" Thai, this will do in a pinch.
Amazing bowls, customer service and quality of ingredients. This gem of a healthy eatery is tucked away in Kensington and definitely worth paying a visit to. The bowls we had were large and filling with a warm quinoa base. Shop owner and bowl maker were very friendly, super quick and efficient service. The place is quite small so it’s a hit-and-a-miss dining in but don’t let this deter you from checking this place out! Will not disappoint.
Disappointed with the service.. during a not so busy Sunday in the mall. I had to wait 10mins for my order because they misplaced the order tag so it was never made. My Chicken Pad Thai had no taste.. A really bad all-round experience for $10!!!

NEW REVIEW (Oct 2016): The general thai chicken I ordered was absolutely awful. The "chicken" is unedible, seems like gristle or pork perhaps? and the quality as a result has diminished. I think they've decided to serve poor quality chicken or is using pork instead. Absolutely awful; won't go back. I don't want to bite into a deep friend piece of meat that is nothing but gristle--just gross.
