Parker Pets (West Hill) has been absolutely exceptional in caring for my boxer, Charlie. From the moment you walk in, their genuine love for animals is evident. The staff remembers Charlie's name and her playful personality, always greeting her with enthusiasm and treats.

What truly sets them apart is their understanding of boxer-specific needs. They accommodate Charlie's high energy levels with appropriate exercise and play sessions, while also ensuring she gets proper rest periods. They always keep me updated on her well-being.

Highly recommend to any pet owner, especially fellow boxer parents looking for trustworthy, professional, and loving care for their four-legged family members!

My only complaint - Charlie should be their mastcot and her cute face all over Instagram (just kidding!).

I can’t say enough great things about Parker Pet Care ! From the moment I walked in, I knew my furry friend would be in excellent hands. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and it’s clear they truly care about the animals they look after. The facility is spotless, and they have spacious, comfortable accommodations for the pets, with plenty of room for playtime and relaxation.

What really stood out to me was the personalized care. Before I dropped my dog off, they took the time to learn about his preferences, his daily routine, and any special needs he might have. I appreciated that extra attention to detail. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years!

Our Canusa is a rescue pup who was abandoned so she has severe attachment issues towards our Family. She is a pretty shy girl too. We needed day care and one overnight stay. Parker Pet Care made her feel right at home. They were super attentive to our Canusa and made sure to send us sweet photos and a report card throughout the day. They were very accommodating. One of our friends recommended PPC and we now know why. Canusa will be back again. Thank you Parker Pet Care for taking such good care of our sweet girl.

My 3 puppies Tiburon Lebron and Negrita came back home so happy. Parkers Pet Care left a big happy and positive impact on my 3 furbabies. This facility and the staffs are exceptional! Our Dog Charlie is a regular here. Have been going for the last 3 yrs and it's a great place for your dog to enjoy, socialize and have fun with other dogs. Customer Service is top notch, staff are very friendly and always helpful. Highly recommended.

Our 4 year old Golden (Harper) has been attending Parkers Pet daycare and kennels for 3 years now. She gets great treatment everytime and always excited to go. She knows the words: daycare and friends.

Can’t speak more highly of Parker’s pet care. This is the best place I will continually drop of my dog for day care and overnight stays. He’s goes in with his tail wagging and jumping on all the staff (sorry) and leaves the same way and comes home and crashes after his fun stay 😴 it’s a fully outdoor facility unlike other places which are all indoor. All the staff know him by name soon as we walk in. Also to mention they send you awesome photos while on their stay.

Petopia has been a great experience for both of our dogs. Outdoor play, nice indoor play area and friendly staff. The cameras are a great feature of this place so we can see how the dogs are doing when they are boarding. Being able to schedule grooming and receiving report cards to get info on how they visit was is a nice touch as well.

We along with the dogs are very happy here!

I can't say enough how happy I am to have found Petopia. We have a rescue dog who is extremely anxious and generally afraid of everyone and everything. It was very hard to find a daycare/boarder that was willing to take him on for boarding during our upcoming vacation this summer. After talking to Pat and following her guidance to start with daycare, we were shocked to find that our scaredy dog not only did well but he now happily hops out the car and rushes inside to be with his friends! Pat and the staff have been wonderful. They've all been very helpful and understanding of his temperment/challenges and have worked with him to get him comfortable. The socialization he's been recieving at Petopia has helped more in his every day life then we ever thought possible. We will definitely be continuing beyond our vacation. Cannot thank Pat and the staff enough.

Our puppy Lexie has had such a great time at Petopia. As a pet parent, there is nothing more we could be grateful for that to have a second home for our fur babies. We feel comfortable and at ease everytime Lexie is at Petopia especially being able to tour the place and having access to their live Webcam stream during play time. We get to see her play with other dogs in such a big outdoor and indoor option. We also love that the facility is cage free and can tailor your dog's schedule and preferences to the way they sleep and eat. Another plus is getting a report card at the end of their stay. We couldn't have been happier to have Petopia and the staff be there for our Lexie when we need it most. Whether it's for day care or overnight stay.

Our Golden Retriever Journey has been visiting Petopia for the past month and always has a blast! He loves the big open space to run around and play, and we appreciate the option to check on him periodically throughout the day on the webcams. We also noticed that since visiting Petopia, he has gained a lot of confidence socializing with other dogs too. We would absolutely recommend Petopia as a daycare!

My dog absolutely loves Petopia! The staff are great and always make sure he has the best time. I never worry when I drop him off and booking is always very quick and easy. I would highly recommend them to any dog parent.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff and care my very anxious rescue (and I) have received at Petopia. I was in need of boarding for a vacation and with Petopia was able to come up with a plan to make boarding a success. The staff were wonderful with Winston- very caring and really took the extra time to help him adjust and feel safe. And Pat was so patient, understanding and accommodating of my situation. They truly care and go above and beyond to help dogs adjust and have fun. Winston has come a long way and has adjusted well at Petopia. I will defintkey keep using their services and would recommend them. Thank you Petopia!!!

Oh my God. What a amazing place for the dog day care. We have full day care for Adonis for one full month. He is 3 Years old German Sheppard. Petopia is like home away from home. The staff is so caring for Adonis. They are taking care of our Adonis just like he is their own dog. The owner Pat is so active and supporting for making our one month package convenient for us.

Before we were so worried for Adonis's day care in Scarborough.
But since Adonis is going to Petopia, we become 100 % worriless and now we can plan for a longer family trip as Petopia also provides overnight boarding.
Also, they provide camera access in the play area so We can see that all the staff members are really a dog lover people and they play many games with the dogs and keep all the dogs engaged whole day.They keep an eye on each dog every single second.
So the dog safety is 100 % guaranteed.

Our dog is always exited to go to Petopia.

My dog has been going here for just under 4 years. Excellent staff! We have also completed a few training classes. Such a great fun place for the dogs!

Was very disappointed with this facility as a first time client. We took our dog in for the first time. The interaction with the front desk was not very welcoming or communicative to say the least. We filled out all the paperwork and trusted them with our 1 year old boarder collie. When we came back after 6 hours we received her assessment report and it was not what we know as our dog to be. None the less we asked if we could take this report with us and the girl at the front said No and that we would have to take a picture of it. We were not told anything else. We were told that the person who did the assessment had gone home and we would receive a call. So we took our pup home as she was very eager to leave. Within 10 min of us arriving at home she projectile vomited to the point where it was coming out of her nose. It was a yellow liquid and what looked like raw chicken. We called to ask what they had given her . We were unable to get an hold of anyone and we have yet to receive a call from anyone regarding the report let alone what they fed her. She threw up the next morning as well but seems to be doing better now. We definitely will not be coming back to this facility.

I cannot express enough how amazing this dog grooming shop is, particularly Veronica! She has been grooming my highly energetic mini Labradoodle puppy for the past two years, and every visit has been great. I trust Veronica implicitly with my precious doggy, and each time, I'm left more than happy with the results. Thank you!

I had a reactive rescue dog who wasn’t too keen on strangers or other dogs and needed a bit more special care and attention which a lot of other day cares can’t provide. Jessie and team have worked with our pup building her confidence up slowly and we’re delighted to say at this point that she’s overcome a lot of her people issues and has been happily accepting pets and attention from friends and visitors that come to our house. Her doggy skills are a work in progress but she’s much less reactive and getting curious to make friends. My only regret was not finding this day care sooner!

Humane society is actually quite evil. Due to the cost of medical for pets, when your animals are sick many people have to surrender their animals. We have to surrender are pets as a last choice but yet consider an bad pet parent. The reason you are surrendering them is to give them a chance at life. So how is it fair that they can decide to euthanize them and not tell you or give you the chance to get the animal back to euthanize them themselves seeing how it is the only option. If a person is willing to bear the cost they should be given that option to take that last step and share that moment with them. At least the cost of euthanization is certain but initial uncertain kind of medical treatment is scary for anyone. They will now not let me getting back my dogs body to even though he is not with us. Who care what was sign where is the humanity in that. Why are they so bend on fulfilling their contract when there is a willing person that would cover cremations. Rules should be broken in these circumstances.

Repeat boarding customer but never going back. We had an extremely distressing experience with boarding our dog last week. I will do this business the courtesy of not going into the details of our boarding, but be advised you wouldn't want to be put through it. We were offered a discount and a free grooming for "the hassle" we went through. The invoice lacks a detailed explanation showing this discount. I would urge pet parents to stay on top of reviews of businesses that they trust to care for their pets. I can't speak to the other services offered here but I would strongly urge caution regarding boarding in this facility.
POST NOTE: Since this posted review we were contacted by the management. We have been refunded the offered discount and have received an apology.
Post Post note: The owners have replied. I hope they have the good sense to remove my location from their response. This is a violation of PIPEDA and carries heavy penalties. That being said,
the reply reflects the level of professionalism you will encounter when dealing with this business.
The facts are:
-When we dropped our dog around 3 pm, we asked if we could use a private space for a bit when we picked up our dog as our son would be with us and they have been apart for a year due to his CAF service. This request was granted, there was no mention of a fee for use of the room or that this was a hardship to the business to accommodate.
-We received a call late in the evening around 7:30, to come pick up our dog because they found he had fleas. At this time they said they had bathed our dog in Dawn dish detergent and was isolated. As we were travelling it was agreed that he would remain isolated for the night and we would pick him up first thing in the morning to see a vet.
-With in the hour, while commuting back to our hotel, Chasin' Tails left a voice mail stating that we didn't need to pick up our dog.
-We called back and were told that it was only a couple of live fleas and a few dead ones found and that he was administered a fast acting flea medication and he would continue to be isolated until morning and then be allowed to be with the other dogs. The person on the phone offered to call with an update the following day.
-We did receive the follow up call and told that our dog was doing great. On this call we were offered the military discount for 'our hassle' and we were asked if we would like our dog groomed prior to our pick up which we agreed with, however, we did expect to pay for this service and we expected to pay for the medication.
- When we picked our dog up we were met by a person who identified them-self as the manager. They told us that our dog was infested and covered in dried blood spots. We replied that this isn't what we were initially told over the phone, the manager changed the subject. I mentioned my intense anxiety regarding the horrible stories I've heard about flea medications and that this is why our dog wasn't on a preventative. He minimized and explained away my concerns. We were not interested in a confrontation we just wanted to get on with our long day ahead of us.
-We used the room for a few minutes and left. While at the desk paying there was no explanation of what we were paying for however, we did ask for a invoice/receipt to be emailed to us.
OUR DOG WAS ADMINISTERED MEDICATION and bathed in harsh detergent without our consent.
They utterly mishandled communication and put us through a very distressful evening.
We did not ask for a free grooming or a discount. These were offered as compensation for “the hassle”.
None of the complementary items were listed on the invoice nor was the medication.
We were very level headed at all times when speaking with the employees. When my spouse returned the manager's phone call, after the initial review, the manager was rather argumentative and spoke in circles, he did apologize and did offer a complete refund which my spouse did not take as we do not feel that was required however, we did accept the refund of the difference for the military discount.

I would sincerely like to thank the staff in the intake dept at HS. They were so very kind, considerate, empathetic and compassionate. My son had to surrender his beloved Emotional Support Dog (Shepard) Mika due to severe illness and her level of pain along with her age (12) Extenuating financial hardship didn't allow him to be able to take her to a private vet. This was an excruciating experience for us both and the staff we dealt with were amazing and helped to make things possible for us and a little less stressful. Thank you so much for your support in our time of difficulty. Your sincerity and empathy didn't go unnoticed. God bless you a for the incredible work you do there. The recent pictures I have of her is when she had had a cancerous growth removed from her leg. See you over the rainbow bridge my girl. We miss you already🌈 🙏💔😘

Lots of parking, building has lots of staff and seems to be taken care really well. There’s a Timmie’s super close if you’re needed human snacks. We sighed our puppy up for some classes here. On Saturdays they have a puppy play time. You pay 15$ and your pup has to have all its shots but once that’s done your pup gets to run around in a controlled environment with other puppies of its general age. They have water and some treats available and a couple puppy specialists that talk about the pros and cons of your particular dog while they have their interaction with other pups. On Sundays they have a puppy manners class which is just teaching your dog basic tricks and have to do the puppy basics while having other puppies around. They give you puppy notes as well so that you can practice with your pup at home. Staff are super friendly and are all dog lovers. Our pup is always excited to be there!

Day care is great. Training not so much. We tried over the whole summer to contact their trainers. Voicemails and emails went unreturned for weeks. Even mentioned it to the person at the desk when I dropped my dog off for daycare. Finally got an in-home consult and was given a rough outline for a training plan and have hear nothing since and that was back in August. Too bad their training isn't up to par with their daycare.

** The owner reached out to me and everything has been resolved. Impressed with response to my issues.

I don’t even know where to begin telling everyone how fantastic Petopia is. From day one they have exceeded any expectation we had, and frankly, I think our dog Milo considers Petopia his home away from home.

The owner Pat and all of the staff are fantastic. They communicate with us every day, and have been very patient with our puppy as he learns his manners and how to integrate with the other dogs. The excitement Milo shows each day is great to see, and the exhaustion at the end of the day shows just how much fun he has. Any issues that arise are communicated daily, and the regular report cards with daily updates are awesome. Some of them include pictures which makes you smile.

We can’t recommend Petopia enough! We tell all of our friends, family, and colleagues about this place and will continue to. Five stars is not enough!

I’ve taken L.I.F.E class, Pet first Aid, my reactive girl (a halo husky I adopted from Chasin’ Tails) has done Day School & LIFE school & gets groomed & dyed & loves it!
The “SkyBox” is an amazing idea to be able to see the entire building all at once, and the staff go up with you to answer any questions you might have.
The communication from the staff about how my girl was in whatever program she was in is amazing.
Everyone is very accommodating. We will definitely be life long clients!

We took r cats to vet clinic there. And the staff there were very polite, nice. They did an excellent job on sprayed and neutered on the cats. No problems with them after the surgery for r family animals. Ty for love and care of Peter and Piper. ❤️.

~1 year ago I adopted my man who was in rough shape after living on the streets for a couple years. The humane society did an incredible job rehabilitating him after sustaining multiple injuries that had become infected.

He now lives a life of abundance, comfort, and security; the sweetest, chattiest boy who has made our lives so much better! Thank you humane society for helping our guy!

I purchasef a ladybug fabric harness for my pug on sale. It was cute and very suited for him. Nancy is really kind and helpful and helped me purchase a leather and turquoise collar for him before that looks and fits amazing on him. They sell everything, including essentials for him like baked cookies and cooling handkerchiefs. They sell great outfits too in all sizes.

My 1 year old puppy is a lot at times, so I put him into the EDUplay program and let me tell you I see the difference in him. He listens better and I can bring him down from being amped up a lot easier. I would recommend the program to anyone with a puppy who can be a bit much. The photo is him staring back towards the building after leaving.. He didn't want to leave. He never does.

You can find everything you want in Barking babies! Nancy is super experienced with dogs and very helpful. Veronica is Vino’s groomer and makes Vino even more cute every time he goes there!

I had to bring my dog Millie here for the first time for boarding, really last minute. They were so accommodating despite her not having had a meet and greet yet. They kept her in a private kennel until the following morning when they were able to do her assessment. The report that we received was so detailed and insightful. After that, she was cleared for free play. They understood her very well. Gave her the rests she needed. Loved that there is a hospital next door. Loved that they thoroughly checked her vaccinations. This is the first daycare/boarding place I’ve been to where Millie is excited to arrive and came out super happy (oh and perfectly exhausted). Only thing I would have liked to have seen are some photos of Millie during her stay as they don’t have webcams for us to see her in real-time. Thank you for taking such great care of her. We will be back and highly recommend.

Such a wonderful organization! The folks working here are friendly and extremely helpful. Was able to get a kitten that I found, spayed and vaxxed so that we can curb the stray cat population! Yay!

Super cute store and lovely experience. Staff was very helpful (both owner and another lady…maybe Grace? My apologies for not remembering). Anyhoo, they let us try on various slings and little dresses. Nice selection of sale items too. Thank you!

Puppy class is in a very large room. Kept very clean. I have only done a few classes, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else we learn. Nice paths outside with benches.

Great place to volunteer!

My mom took her dog to get groomed at this place and her dog had a bleeding nail, burn on her belly and butchered hair job as the photos show. The ladies attitude when my mom complained was very arrogant. She did reimburse my mom.. but wasnt happy about it and made the comment "oh well if that makes you feel better ill reimburse you"... i get things can happen during a dogs time at a groomers.. but at least let your client know what has happened and show some compassion for the animal.

They have many fancy clothes and items for dogs but it can use for cats too. They allow us to try on the clothes. Highly recommend for shopping for your pet!
