People there are so nice and kind. Negin is the one handling me, it was very nice talking to her. Will be back there again on my next appointment.

March 17th used the ID program for 16 year old niece kicked out.
Have called daily for weeks begging for a return call, no answers, no ID just run around between inner community

This place let me down and its entirety and feel to accomplish anything.
All of the programs left absolutely nothing and now they have my stuff on record for seven years, which is just ridiculous to say the least that you can’t have it removed.
They did nothing to help me find meaningful employment, and their job development team did absolutely nothing.
The manager in charge was very rude and unprofessional when I called out their lack of effort and ended up closing my file because they knew they were wrong and can do anything.
These programs seem to help immigrants over Canadians and it doesn’t matter what level of experience or education you have they just have no balance in what they can do.
The advertisement that you see on the sky train her completely false when it says that “we put you you in front of employers.” You would think they would call the BC government and have this changed but no if they insist on false advertising.
Stay away from these places, and the job finding system in this province and country is a complete joke and quite sick of you asked me.

Denies access to support, funding, and training. All lies. All the good staff I worked with always quit within less than 6 months. The ones remaining always treat me poorly and rejects help. Laughs when I am stressed out about money. Ghosts me when I need help and at scheduled appointments. Hatethisplace

Majid Ghobadi, my employment consultant at Burnaby-Brentwood WorkBC Centre was so helpful. He supported me trough the whole entire process to find a job for me and I am very thankful for the mock interview that he has done so I felt confident on my interviews. Working on line with him made the whole entire process much easier.
I wish all the best to Dionne Chan for her support as well and to Leah Goodwin for helping me with my resume!

I mostly contacted the WorkBC program via emails though, I could feel that all the staff were friendly and willing to support their customers. My Employment Consultant is Majid who replied to me back with great services and Withana is the Financial Supports Clerk who always processes for the funding program I needed promptly. Tina was the only person I met in person when I visited WorkBC to get help to complete my resume and cover letter, she was such a kind and cheerful person. I think WorkBC has a lot of great programs to support people who want to get a new job or upgrade their career, so don't hesitate to visit them.

I am so grateful and happy to have this opportunity, during my career journey, to get help from WorkBC Brentwood Burnaby branch. It has very friendly and helpful staff and receptionist. They are wonderful team. I appreciate my Employment counselor, Mr. Majid Ghobadi who informs me for all job tools, I need for career planning and Tina Hatch who helped me to build my resume and my cover letter. Both Majid and Tina are very professional, knowledgeable and resourceful, so working with them is very pleasant moment for me. I highly recommend WorkBC Brentwood Center if you are looking for a career. It is great place to get good assistant.

I am very happy that Brentwood WorkBC helped me with employment services. The whole team: Shifana my case manager, Neville, Rene, Alvaro all very professional. My self-confidence improved, my resume was polished, and many opportunities opened up. I got a job after 3 days I finished my course.

I have to say that Youth Opportunities Unlimited is an incredible company because of how they give such fantastic guidance to the people that are going through the many programs that are offered at YOU. The people in the programs are given the opportunity to be able to turn their lives around and give them such hope and confidence in themselves.

I have had the pleasure of working with Shifana Zaver-Jamal and Tina Hatch from the Burnaby Brentwood WorkBC location. Shifana has provided me with some excellent employment opportunities along with some websites to watch for new opportunities as they arise. Tina is great with her resume writing skills. She assisted me in updating my resume to make it more presentable to the employer. They both showed continued support and encouragement throughout the process. I am happy to say I will be starting my new job in September.

I took my first course at Victoria back in 2008! And 12 years later, I am taking "Online Marketing" course taught by Oliver Gu. I got my money worth the first day literally.
Victoria provides various courses which are usually value-packed, just check it out yourself. You have nothing to lose.

Victoria Education provides lots of training sessions for over 20 years. Now they have entrepreneur college to help Canadian entrepreneurs to start and develop their business. I attended several courses, and feel they are tremendously helpful! For example, Jenny’s online marketing course offers a lot of practical skills to use the social media and video advertising to help promote business growth. Very helpful!

I have known Maria Sun, the founder of Victoria College for 12 years, she is such a dedicated person to education, she and her school have helped so many new immigrants to better settle down and get success in Canada. I have learned many of the courses Victoria College provides and they are so helpful!

I was blown away with Victoria International College. The atmosphere was lively, exciting, and very inviting. The facilities are very clean and tidy. Teachers there are always willing to help you with any questions or concerns that you might have. They were patient, kind, and most importantly, humble. I'm very glad to have chosen to learn at this place, and would definitely recommend people to come here.

All they care about is your money, they would literally do anything to lure you to pay for their courses. Once you make the payment, their attitude turns 180. I took their SQL fundamental online course in Montreal and was so disappointed by their lack of course planning and irresponsible attitude towards students. The teacher was ok, but the management and teaching assistance team is completely useless! They get paid for doing nothing! Avoid this terrible company, save your money and time to obtain real knowledge!
