My son did a week of summer camp here and he loved it. He tried many camps this past summer and this one was one of his favourites. The staff make music fun.
Capstone Music is fantastic! My daughter has been working with Ciaran since she was four, learning to play piano, guitar, ukulele, and more. Ciaran's patience, skill, and passion for teaching have been incredible. He has nurtured her love for music and helped her grow as a young musician. We are so grateful for the positive impact Ciaran has had on her musical journey. Highly recommend Capstone Music and Ciaran for anyone looking for top-notch music lessons!
My daughter has been learning piano from Jason for two years now. Jason is an awesome teacher. He teaches kids with a lot of patience and we are so happy to have him teach my daughter!
My daughter and son enjoy Graham’s voice and piano lessons. They have lots of fun in the class and keep showing obvious improvements. Definitely will recommend Graham to our friends and families.
Maddy is the best teacher, she's super nice, she has a good voice and my daughter has only had a few lessons but she's playing the piano like a rock star already. And she's always looking forward to her next lesson. I'd recommend this school for your kids
My son is now nine and a half years old and has studied piano with Mr. Graham for over two and a half years. Teacher Graham is very serious in class, and their communication is equal and smooth. He influenced my son to fall in love with the piano, and he is like a big brother to my son. Thanks for meeting, thanks for Graham, and thanks for the Oakville Academy of Music.
We have Devi as our Piano instructor. She is very patient, kind and fun and engaging! We have had her since the beginning for the 1st ever piano lesson ^_^ If I could, I would give her 10 stars! :)
Our experience with Eric has been great. He has been able to get my child to actually enjoy guitar lessons. We are very happy with him.

Not happy with their policies as far as discontinuing the lessons for my daughter. I found out i have to pay for a full month even though my daughter will not be attending. I feel this is a money grab, 2 weeks i can understand because the teacher should be able to fill the spot in that time. I think having to pay a full month is ridiculous and I know I should have read the fine print better however i will not be returning and I will not recommend. P.S this after being there from Feb 2022.
I’ve been taking piano lessons at Hanway Music, and it’s been awesome! The teachers are super friendly and really know their stuff. They make the lessons fun and easy to follow, which has really helped me get better at playing. If you’re thinking about learning music, I definitely recommend checking out Hanway Music!

My daughter studied piano at Hanway Music for the past 3 years. She love the teacher and have made great improvement in her piano skills. I’m happy with the service and definitely recommend this school to those who want to learn music.
This is the third year of my son learning piano... I am grateful for a piano teacher like him who goes above and beyond for my son, ensuring he not only understands the notes but also enjoys playing the piano. His enthusiasm is contagious, and I'm glad my son has such a passionate teacher!
My two daughters have been learning in Hanway Music for close to a year and have made great progress in learning how to read music, different styles of music, and how to play music. I recommend learning here as my eldest daughter hadn't gotten a chance to learn when she was young but Hanway has a strong opportunity for all. The teachers are all super sweet and understanding.
I've been studying at Hanway since before the pandemic. Prior to here, I've studied at other music schools in the area.
What made me stick with them all throughout this time is their professionalism. Henry, the manager is very prompt with replies. With my schedule sometimes I need to make changes on the fly and I can just send them a text message and expect a response within 5 minutes usually.
They will also try their best to accommodate a makeup time as well. I can really tell they try to offer their students the best customer support as they can.
During covid they also did a good job of converting my classes to online which helped me continue my studies. Without them I probably would've stopped practicing piano a few years ago.
I would definitely recommend this school and thank you to Henry and the teachers here who supported me throughout!

My daughter has been taking piano lessons here since she was 3. She started with the toddler program with Ms. Li and I can tell she enjoyed it just as much as her other after school activities. We have since moved on to 1 to 1 classes and also picked up the drum lessons too. Booking was easy and they are very fast with responding to calls and texts. They are also flexible in helping us reschedule our classes. A+ for the admin team and the teachers at Hanway
Both my son and daughter take piano and guitar lesson here. With our busy schedule, Hanway Music of Richmond Hill did a really good job of helping us co-ordinate the time for their lessons. They were able to schedule them at the same time with different teachers and making the wait time much more shorter. Would definitely recommend this school!
Hanway Music School has been an incredible find for my children’s musical journey. The studio is basic but has grand pianos and uprights on the second floor. There are many teachers you can learn from, we are with one who has RCM qualifications and a master's degree in music. I like that they can electronically send bills now and there are biannual recitals that are well organized and they can showcase their music with medals provided when they participate.
0 stars. I would not send your child here. My 8-year old daughter attended vocal lessons. Less than one week before their Christmas recital I was told that my daughter didn’t seem to be engaged and that the instructor did not want to teach her anymore. This meant having to tell my child that she could not participate in the recital and sing the song she had been practicing and looking forward to performing. Never in my life have I come across such a heartless action to a child. I would steer clear of here.

If your offer is to reimburse me for one week of classes you need to consider the intent of your business, and how students are treated. What was my daughter doing from Sept to December if it wasn’t preparing for a recital in which her instructor decided not to support her with 5 days in advance of the recital. Let’s also not forget my daughter is 8years old!!!!

WORST PIANO PLACE EVER!!!
Coming from a student that HAS to go there this is by far the WORST place to learn piano I’d rather go to my previous piano teacher then this one. The piano teacher makes your kids cry and doesn’t even care about them, shouts at your kids, doesn’t even teach them properly and he has major anger issues. If you want your kids to have childhood trauma from this piano teacher then go here. If I could I would’ve rated this a 0 star.

I've been taking piano classes at La Majeur School of Music, and it's been an absolute delight! The instructors are skilled and patient, creating a positive learning environment. We had a wonderful experience at La Majour's piano class. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and supportive. My son and I had a bad experience in his 1st piano class. Thankfully, through a recommendation from a friend I met Sevan. I am very thankful because she was not hesitant to accept my 4-year-old son. Sevan is very good with children. My son is always looking forward to his piano classes, seeing his teachers, Julia, and Sevan, and learning new piano lessons.
My son is learning the piano at La Majeur School, and he has had experiences with different teachers due to our busy schedule. I can say that all of them are well-experienced and have been very helpful in accommodating our rescheduling needs. I am thankful to Sevan, the manager, and the other teachers there, as my little son has made progress in Piano and I can see that. Thank you
La Majeur school of music is a great place to learn music for any age group in Scarborough with very experienced and friendly Staff and pretty reasonable fees . They are very accommodating in providing additional slots incase someone misses any lessons , it just you need to inform bit earlier so that they can plan. Sevan is very friendly and manages the place very well . My 5 year is learning Piano and taking Voice lessons from La Majeur and we are very happy with the progress she made so far .
Its a great school. Great teachers and staff members. They are very helpful, caring, and dedicated. I'd recommend La Majuer School Of Music to anyone who wants to learn piano, guitar, drums, violin and/or singing regardless of age or skill level.
Ryan is a great teacher. My kid is always excited to attend his piano lessons and has learn a lot since he started.
My 5 year old daughter has been attending piano lessons for about three months now and has developed a real passion for music. Amazing music studio, great atmosphere and wonderful teachers. My son gave up piano for three years and was reluctant to resume. We decided to give Capstone a try and he absolutely loves it. He looks forward to each lesson with Ciaran and no longer needs to be reminded to practice. I would highly recommend Capstone to anyone interested in music lessons.
We have had such an amazing experience here. Maddy is so great with my 5 year old - he looks forward to piano class every week. Highly recommend Academy of Music for young kids who want to learn piano!
I have started in pandemic with a good note as all expectations were virtual teaching. But now when everything is opening up. They charged us extra money for the in person classes but mostly classes are still virtual. It does affect the teaching. On top of it, I believe every year their fee is increasing by some amount but quality is not improving. I would rather go somewhere else where the classes are more in person and teaching is more affective that the kids does not lose interest.
Ryan is a great piano teacher. He is a gentle person with positive attitude. My daughter has learned alot since starting in September 2022. I highly recommend this music school.

Both my girls go here. Ty and Kevin are THE BEST! They care a lot about their students. My girls never actually WANTED to continue any music lessons for longer than 2 weeks until we met Ty and Kevin. They love coming here every week!

I started taking adult piano lessons with Ryan in November. I continue to enjoy learning and practicing every week. He is a patient, knowledgeable teacher who makes each lesson fun.

My children have been to a few music studios over the years as they learned different instruments. This year my 15 year old with high anxiety wanted to start piano lessons. I chose Capstone purely because it had a good reputation and was close enough for my son to walk from school. But wow! It was easy to communicate and arrange lessons with the owner. The studio is lovely. And the best part is my son's instructor immediately was able to build a connection with my son who came out of his first lesson saying "that's the best lesson and the best instructor I've ever had!" It's been 3 months of lessons now and he still loves going, practices without being reminded and is consistently given music that he can relate to and challenges him while maintaining his interest. Way to go Capstone music! And a big shout out to Corey who has connected with my anxious son and made a transition to a new activity pain-free!

My kid loves Capstone and has been going for years. He never misses a lesson. They recently put in a lot of effort to arrange a band so my son good reach the next level with his drumming.

My daughter started violin lessons last year at the start of our lockdown. The Academy of Music were great at helping us start and even dropped off a violin rental at our house! Throughout this year, she has shown great progress all thanks to her teacher Jonas. We also love the virtual recitals and the Musical Ladder System, they really go a long way in encouraging her and setting goals!

This is great place to take music lessons! I have known the owner of this incredible music school for over 5 years and can personally vouch for his commitment to excellence in every aspect of his business. Coming from a student's perspective I personally have enjoyed learning from this studio because the teachers are HIGHLY educated in their field of study. Before studying under my teacher I knew very little when it came to performance techniques because the teachers prior were only teaching piano with limited music knowledge. Since then I have also been given opportunities to perform occasionally at student recitals as well as compete at music festivals/competitions! My teacher was able to help me succeed in many events and still continues to create a fun and supportive environment. Highly recommend if you want to obtain a valuable music education!!!
My four kids all started with Suzuki piano at around 4 years old. The atmosphere is very positive and the teachers are encouraging. When they were younger, they enjoyed the group lessons with other piano students their age in addition to their private lessons
My children have been a part of Suzuki for many years. It has grown their confidence, sense of responsibility and improved their concentration. The teachers are all so wonderful and there is a real sense of community. The children make so many friends and look forward to seeing one another at group lessons and recitals. Life long memories friends and musical talent comes from Burlington Suzuki. I can’t recomment it enough
My 9 & 7 yo have taken violin and piano for 5 years. The teachers are very skilled and the Suzuki method is a wonderful way to learn music- "she's a teacher that's good for the whole time, not like the teachers who are nice until the parents leave. " - 9yo piano student

Suzuki has been a life changing experience for my son and has been part of his life since he was just shy of 4 years old. The teachers are inspirational, patient and really know how to keep their students motivated and tailored to the style of learning for your child. I would recommend Suzuki method for any age.
I have enjoyed teaching piano at the Burlington Suzuki School of Music for 15 years and now have my son in lessons there with a colleague. As a parent I enrolled my son in the Early Start Program for 3 years and he loved it! The Burlington Suzuki School of Music is a wonderful and encouraging environment with a true sense of community for every child and family.

As a graduating piano student of BSA, I can proudly say that this a music school I would recommend to anyone looking to enrol their children in music lessons! The teachers are amazing and extremely supportive in helping their students achieve their performance and theory goals. The Suzuki method is especially great for those looking to get their children an early start in music, as my parents did with me. I am so lucky to have continued lessons for 13 year here, thank you to all the teachers and parents that made it possible!
