Great spot to start any number of awesome xc ski loops ranging from 13-30km. Access to some great easy terrain between P8 and P9 also. VERY busy though... Often full by 9am on weekends
Easy access, well lit, close to everything.

Parked here in Oct 2023 and the entrance was blocked off unless of course drivers are expected to break the glaring "do no enter" sign. Spent way too much time driving around to find a way to access this parking lot. Missed 30 mins of a concert. Parking cost is affordable but traffic rerouting needs work.
Convenient and reasonably priced for downtown parking
Great place for sunsets, ocean views, a beautiful thought spot 🙏

Great location. Nothing out of the ordinary here. The parking lot is clean and spacious and well situated for commuters. I don't know if there's anything more to say about this paved lot. The one note is that when exiting, Google maps may get confused as there are now multiple ways out of the parkade.

Great parking lot. I parked my car.
Overpriced flat rate no matter if your popping in for 10 minutes or 10 hours.
Another great beach and one of the best spots for capturing sunsets 📸
This beach is one of my favorites. When the tide is out it looks like a long walk to the water but it is actually not too far. It's a beautiful place.

Lots of parking but fills up quickly during festivals and sunny days in summer.
Very easy to find and get in and out. Felt like vehicle was safe there.
The beach is great. Good luck with parking. It costs to park and is always full. No good alternatives. Just keep trying.
A bit pricey. But plenty of parking spaces. Close enough to the falls.
Very nice beac
I only park here in the off season when the beach is dog off leash and parking is free. Very busy in summer, for good reason as beach is popular.
Small secluded beach area, safe for swimming, and your dogs can join you!
We love coming here to watch our daughter play ball…..It’s a nice place, I think that they could use a lot more parking though
Another place you can sit by the Oceanside and not have to get out.

Conveniently located by the Danforth. It's a parking lot.

Someone broke into my car and stole the airbag during day time.
Always a beautiful place to stop and look at the scenery.
The prime time place to be with a burger at lunch, lettin the car play your favorite bits.

Really lets the head clear staring off into the watery sky'd expanse- gives you time to think.
Had an hour to kill before meeting friends for a birthday drink or two
Sat there watching and listening to the geese, very relaxing
I enjoy coming back time and time again I like to walk the beach front, via board walk... then I will ride the rocks spit out by last tide on my e-bike fat tire at about 20mph bouncing and bounding over the rock ledge spewed out by Nature's tides...then I will find a quiet place at the end of the path just to relax...
This is a very nice park.
I have not camped here before, just day visit.
It is a good place with campfires, children's park, lots of trails and places to play or walk. It also has a nice beach.

One of the most beautiful parks I’ve ever been to. Gatineau park is definitely a must visit, especially during the fall season. The colours of nature, one would get to see are just mind blowing.
Love this beach, very well maintained and spectacular sunsets
Killarney lake is beautiful, ideal place for a picnic and enjoy the view. A bit of a walk from the ferry beth but doable. Public toilets available also there is a bus stop nearby
This business is not honest at all. They scam people. They are not clear on their parking prices. When u get to the entrance, their is three signs. The first one indicates a price between 10$ and 20$ (depending on the time that you park your car) ALL DAY (clearly says all day). The second one only indicates a price. The third one says that u can only pay cash.

Once you are ready to leave the parking you have to exit by another portal and they will charge you the max price which is 20$ (or more depending on how they want to scam you). I personally parked my car at 9am and the first sign at the entrance was indicating me 10$ ALL DAY. When i exited the parking they charged me 10 more dollars.the employees started giving me information on why i was charged more what they were telling me was not indicated anywhere (not even on the receipt).

Overall very unclear, scketchy and dishonest.
A really nice spot to stop and have some food if you're cycling. Also some really nice trails around here and a convenient toilet and trash cans are located just off the parking area.
the elderly here are full of sob stories, can't do anything but make you feel bad and let them have thier way. if you spend your day there, just ignore the elderly sob request and enjoy your day. don't make and interactions with them and you will be fine
They should create open parking at recreation places and not make it about making money by charging for parking. The beach is beautiful done. There is a walking path created at the periphery of the beach and nice to take a stroll here.
Parking a little challenge.. there washroom (just 1).. The Lake not far from park.. also have a picnic tables... and we can walk (little hike ☺️) around the lake

This hike around Killarney lake was simply magical! Takes about 40-60 minutes, with some up and downs, overall a pretty easy hike, but small amount of steps, so not very accessible. Beautiful views, lots of old growth forest. Walking distance from the ferry, or a quick 15 minutes drive. Some limited parking at trailhead, with plenty of picnic tables by the lake. Really pretty place:)
Outstanding Vista gr8 for morning sunrise for the early riser.
Its clean!!! Big lake. Nice easy long walk

Convenient. Decent amount of spots. Personally, no issues for me when parking here for a carpool.
No problem finding a parking spot. Summer might be a different story.
The best place on Vancouver Island. Love to visit when the tide is low. Lots of wildlife and great trails to walk. Beautiful trees everywhere.

Of all the parking lots in Gatineau Park, P5 is the parking lottiest. Big gravel lot with lots of spots right beside Parkway. Great spot starting a ride or a ski.
Recently upgraded parking lot that has been paved. Beach access and trails access. Garbage and washrooms close by. Room for large RVs and trailers. Excellent location with in easy walking distance to camp site, picnic areas, playground and more. Tons of bunny's on surrounding grass and vegetation areas. Free parking
Really cute park. You can see Deerfoot. Quiet park. There is the occasional ball game.
Small parking lot next to the Killarney loop trail in the Crippen regional park. Not that many parking spots. It was half full on a early October Saturday afternoon. Bathroom was low on toilet paper but clean.
Very beautiful and peaceful. Nice playground for the kids with a splash park

Expansive and breathtaking! Part of our Ottawa trip from. Toronto. You'll forget you just entered Quebec as once you leave the city portion, you are surrounded by beautiful nature here. Took a drive past many public and private lakes, and even the MacKenzie King Estate. Do not miss this if visiting Ottawa!
Plenty of parking spots during the day Monday to Friday.

Be sure to pay for parking if car is staying later than 5pm on a weekday. There was a parking officer on standby.
A little gem. The lake is beautiful and quiet, with convenient picnic tables nearby.
Parking lot is right next to beach. Bathrooms close by. Bunnies abound!!!
Lovely place for sports and picnic
Really large parking lot. It is mostly gravel so you just have to drive a bit slower. The beach also has wheelchair access mats for anyone requiring that. Connects to a nice area with a nice beach and trail area with a mountain view. This area has a lot of bunnies for some reason (information on signs) and you aren’t supposed to feed them. There’s rabbit poop and rabbit holes in the ground everywhere and I saw about 10 on my visit. There is also a wheelchair access ramp to the beach which is really thoughtful. There is also a playground for kids. You can’t walk in the vegetation areas. Lots of seashells.
On a summer afternoon this parking lot is absolute chaos. I cannot exaggerate how many cars, trucks and trailer just parked anywhere and people have no courtesy to other drivers. On more than one occasion, it took us an hour to get our boat out of the parking lot due to the number of cars blocking the route and others trying to find somewhere to park (on the grass, sidewalk, laneway or wherever they felt like). The only route out/out of the lot had cars parked along the side, turning it into a one way road. With a constant flow of traffic in, we had to walk out and stop traffic coming in so that us and another boater could get out. Some form of parking attendant to close the lot when it is full is required.
Tide was way out. Sandy beach and tide pools. Great place.
Its my 15th favorite parking lot.
Beautiful access point for cross country skiing in winter.

The Carpool Parking Lot at Mavis Road and Hwy. 401 in Mississauga, Ontario is convenient, and while small, have never had an issue with parking spaces.

The issue I do have is that it primarily unlit, and situated out of sight. Hence why my driver's tags were stolen sometime during the day - not night!

Signage "Park At Your Own Risk" are unfortunately very true!

Always find a place. But the problem to get 401 west you will have to drive around to get to entrance.

Worked out well on the return home (east). Going west requires making a left out of the lot. Follow the signs mounted on the light poles after that. Factor in a few minute get back on the 401.

A fine place to park a car. Lots of gravel. Outhouses nearby. In winter it’s close to Penguin, Gatineau Park’s toughest hill.

No lights at night
Snow is not cleaned regularly... no easy way to exit 401 W from this car pool....
