It looks cool here
Well constructed and maintained church, Fabulous architectural value but little Old fashion traditional Church.
The best 👌
This church is good but the bad part is that I could hear the cars honking their horns on Bloor Street.
This is a lovely YmUnited Church with lots of hymns, some presented by the choir and some for the congregation to sing with the choir. When I'm in Ottawa, I visit this church with my sister, and I always feel welcome.

Attended service for my Grandson's Baptism. The Minister is wonderful. A very warm and loving environment to be in, we didn't feel like strangers. Lovely building. If we didn't live so far away I would return.

We had a fun time at the FDLSTYKS concerts
Noel was the best vocal performance I've ever heard in a church.

I also really liked the Anthem song where everybody sung. So awesome. I do got to say that it is not that bright inside as the windows are not a clear window here so it kind of drags down your mood a little (the picture just automatically brightens the photo up). The reflection meditation was too long & also, the cushion on the pews are not attached to the wood so they keep sliding off place when you sit so it gets a little annoying.

Those two songs - The Anthem & Noel really woke me up that's why I really like those two songs. The singer of Noel, her vocal range was the best I've ever heard from a church singer. Wow! I'm impressed by her a lot. 😀

A very great Church and very open to new visitors and the local community. I lived close by at a time in my early years and saw it expand in size with the current gym and extended space of the church that connects to the original structure. The church hosts many different events, dinners and child care (my own little girl has grown up going to this church with her mother.) It has an extremely super staff and volunteers! And is a beautiful church inside and out. There is also an international German School within the extended building.
My granddaughter and I are truly grateful for the wonderful people at Islington United Church, who have welcomed us with open arms! My granddaughter is so very happy to be singing in the choir, with her friends and peers!

Thank you all for your kindness and love! 🫶🙏🙌
Lovely and inclusive community which is hard to find in churches. Their children's program exists but is sparse. Most Sundays there is a light snack and social time after the service.

They have this huge yearly garage/yard sale inside. Amazing prices. Literally anything and everything. I saw a coach purse for sale excellent condition. We bought DVDs and I got a beautiful stain glass Tiffany lamp for an unbelievable $5. It was hiding under the table near the back. When I pulled it out and saw the price and the drooling looks from either side of me. I knew I hit gold :)
A small religious place.

It used to be a nice church but when you step on God's word to follow the woke narrative, shame on you! This is no longer a Church!
Very welcoming to children
Beautiful church people are friendly
I was attending a community dinner at the time. I was very well received and enjoyed a good meal and met some very nice people.
My kids used to join the musicals of the Easter and Christmas in the Church twenty six years ago when we just immigrated to Canada. Many memories are recalled. We just come here today for the special feeling. Thanks to God for the initial years that warms our hearts so much. And we are happy to know the minister is still Rev. Kathryn.
A wonderful play to worship. Interesting Sunday service. Community support oriented. They put their money where their mouth is.
oui l'endroit est très beau l'Eglise j'adore

Nice, old church with a semi-circular seating for the congregation. 2nd level balcony as well. Because it's downtown, parking is garbage.

Didn't even know Churches still rang the bells as I've never heard any other church do it aside for special occasions but this Church, without fail, rings them every Sunday morning at 10 am on mine and many other people's only day off of the week. This is a large suburb of people sleeping and living lives, not a town center of people waiting to get into church. Also for the past hundreds of years, church has regularly been on Sundays at 10 Am, the bells are not helpful to remind one of church, helpful to keep people away from it.
I had my wedding at Islington United Church. The church is beautiful as well as everyone that was involved. Rev Maya officiated our wedding, she did an amazing job. Her prayers & words were so warm, my family and friends loved listening to her. I wouldn't have chosen anyone else to officiate our wedding.

Jason Locke was the musician for the ceremony. He was amazing as he granted all my requests. He also learned the song I requested for signing the documents and played it beautifully on the piano.

Margaret, the wedding coordinator was also amazing. When we met her, she was accepting and a joy to talk to. She helped guide us through the ceremony and what to expect on the day of.

Highly recommend this church!!
Beautiful church building with what appear to be original stain glass. I attended the commissioning of a friend who will be a candidate for Ordination with the Unitrd Church of Canada after her 2 year internship there.
A nice and welcoming community
Having recently moved back to the city, Runnymede United Church has given me a sense of belonging and community. This is a welcoming congregation with strong purpose and warmth.
An active and welcoming congregation and community. The service and music is always well put together and lovely. There are many events for you to get involved, deepen your faith and support your community :).
Great social justice initiatives. Active congregation. People of all ages. Very caring place. Lots available if you want to get involved.
I have attended this church for a number of years and find it very welcoming, and very active in the community, locally and internationally. The church is involved in a number of initiatives from a local community meal to supporting the education of aids orphans in Kenya, and many more. There is a great program for kids and youth, a wonderful choir and many social events (outside of pandemic times). It provides me with a wonderful community of faith and of friends.
This is a very beautiful and welcoming church. The music is always up-lifting. The lead minister is a lovely, caring person. The music director is an extremely talented musician. The music is always a highlight.
The mission is the church is progressive and open.
It is a great place to worship!

Islington United Church has been my church home for over 30 years. It is such a welcoming place and the friendships i’ve made here while i was young still continue to this day. Our Son was baptized here recently and loves Godly Play with the other kids. The church really cares for the congregation and the community in which it is in. They offer so many programs to help others in need and there are so many great groups to join in on if you desire. It feels great to be back in person at the church after the pandemic too. A really welcoming and warm place i look forward to going every Sunday with my family.
And we should pray for Iran too 🙏
I’ve never stepped foot in this church, nor do I plan to, being a heathen and all. I love the inspirational messages they put on their bulletin board, so for that I give them 5 stars!
A great place doing wonderful work In the area.

We had just gone for the annual book sale. But the people were so so warm and welcoming. We felt like we belonged there and peaceful. We will definitely come back here to see the lovely people. ❤️
Beautiful Church which accommodates a New Canadian group as well as the Saint James Players and many other groups as well as their own congregation.
Very good Parish.
Feel really good

Belle petite église d' un temps lointain.
A beautiful church with a congregation that is warm friendly and welcoming. They have so much going on for people of all ages interested in being part of a faith-based community. From Sunday School and Youth Group right on up to Women’s Fellowship and various faith groups, there is something for everyone.

Comfortable Church. Suitable for Memorials.
The last performance ever of Cantores Celeste. Memorable indeed!
Just dropping off books for thir book sale. Such a great community outreach.
It may have a small congregation but it has a BIG heart!
I come here regularly. They need to redo the ramp leading to Bank street. It too is made of brick, which doesn't work for any type of walk way for anyone using a mobility device.

Help people in the community
This is such a warm welcoming community where everyone is accepted. Come as you are! There are so many great ways to get involved: food-bank, young adults, community garden, social justice, bible study, children's church (Godly Play), meditation groups to name a few. PS WE have fantastic ministers and a stellar choir.
Really YOU are welcome here.
Love Alice in Wonderland St. James Players puts on a good show. Thanks for the fun evening.
The program is practical and functions well
A very friendly church
Very pleasant, welcoming church. Not hard core with the religious texts, more about spirituality and doing good in the world.
Friendly and lovely group of people.
Online Service..new each Sunday

Service stays up all week. Announcements on website.
An open door to the stranger and neighbor. A small congregation with a heart to help. I have never attended a service but have gone to many meals and there is a genuineness about those I've met. From an outside perspective, their community garden boxes are a great addition on bank Street and obviously make a positive impact for those wanting inexpensive fresh produce.
Lovely church. Wonderful congratulation.
Interesting genealogical trip
This is such a beautiful place. All people from every walk of life attend worship services here and have become our family. Take a look. It's a very special place. The pipe organ and organist and the absolutely amazing choir can make you shiver. Reverend Bob has this amazing way of making you believe the sermon is meant entirely for you personally. My absolutely favorite place in Winnipeg.
I was only here to vote for the Ontario election.
From what I could see the place looks nice.
Great community Church, very open and welcoming.
nice place and know the pastor quite well
If you want to meet Jesus, come to this place, you can feel how God is guiding his people in this place.
A great old architecture in Osborn village. Its hard to believe , this building was built at 1903.

Everyone is welcomed here and they have a food bank and laundry service for the homeless. This place does amazing work within the community
My husband and I worship here every Sunday morning.

My friends go here regularly. Their kids like it and my kids enjoy the Christmas Eve service.
