We had an amazing time on our Kayak Island explorer tour this morning with Jack, where we saw eagles, seals and sea stars 🦭 He was a brilliant guide and made our experience all the more special!
I’ve been going to this spot for years and I’m always so stoked to have it open up each summer. I rent the paddle boards and the staff are always so lovely and so helpful! They have a good selection of beginner friendly equipment while also having a handful of more advanced board options. If you’re looking to hang out on the beach and maybe get out on the water for a couple hours this is literally the spot you wanna go! Thanks for coming back to kits every year guys!
Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful views. The seals in the distance were pretty cool to see.. probably need the full 3 hours to do the full view of everything.
I took a Level 1 Paddle Canada weekend course at the Cates Park location. The staff were very accommodating when booking, and the weekend itself was great. Lauren was an excellent, knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructor, and the course was incredibly helpful for gaining confidence to plan and go on longer kayak trips. I'd recommend it to anyone.
On weekends its always full, so i recommend to make a reservation online beforehand, the staff is helpful , there are no lockers with keys or safety locks so take that in mind, 2 hours of kayaking or paddling is 49 cad, they give you life vest and show you some tips if its your first time.

Tldr - worth the views!
I came here first in 2021 for a night tour to see bioluminescence algae, it was such a great experience that I had to take the wife back here during our vacay. We did the regular day explorer tour this time around - we were lucky and the tour ended up having just the two of us. Our guide/instructor Liam has a deep knowledge of the history, local animals, and landmarks in the area. He took us around Deep Cove, Raccoon Island, and more. We saw lots of seals, an eagle, and loads of purple starfish. We also got a honey donut from the local shop (extremely dense and delicious!!). 10/10 would come visit again for another tour around the Deep Cove!

Great Place to rent your equipment for kayak, Paddleboarding and others. They also have courses, I took the kayak 1 and it was so much fun. I learned a lot and had the best time at the water. There are lockers and bathrooms and coffee shops steps within. Great way to spend your time and money to explore deep cove.
I came in for some technique ideas, plus help reading conditions for safety. My guide was very helpful with both. We did a bit of work on shore, then headed out for a very nice paddle, with lots of tips along the way. He also gave me plenty of resources to work with on my own in the future.
Had the most beautiful day, especially helped by the good weather! We had such clear views of the mountains and even saw three seals and some jellyfish. The boat is very stable but takes some getting used to if you haven’t tried kayaking before. Once you get comfortable with the slight rock of the boat, you will be able to go faster. My partner and I found this to be a special bonding experience as we chose to go out in a double boat. Highly recommend kayaking at Deep Cove.
Great location for kayaking. Unfortunately they were so popular that we had to reserve a place in line and wait 3 hours. Friendly customer service though.
There weren't any good places to beach, since the few public locations they marked on the map were extremely rocky with no sand.
The main highlight was the seals. Not too far out from the dock we were able to see a whole pack of seals laying out on logs in the sun. They were very cute, and some of them even followed us out into the water, popping up every now and then.

Had a great time exploring canoe lake with Algonquin Adventure Tours.
They were hospitable and accommodating for our group of Muslims who came with Islamic Relief Canada.
Our tour guide Andrew was a delight and was really engaging with his historical stories about Algonquin.
Definitely a great and safe place to explore the park! And Islamic Relief Canada will definitely continue using their services for years to come!

I came to Algonquin park yesterday for the first time with Islamic Relief Canada and I had a great experience. I want to thank Andrew for being the best guide ever through his courtesy, professionalism, kindness, and great story telling!!
We did a six hour tour with Liam, and we had a wonderful time. The tour through the park was incredibly calming. There were cool spots we stopped at. We had a picnic with sandwiches from Henrietta's pine bakery and did cliff jumping. It was definitely worth it!
It was unbelievable that I was kayaking. Felt jitters at the start but Katie the instructor is calm and informative … just lovely! A seal popped now and then on our way back. Great to be one with the ocean! Beautiful Vancouver and Kitsilano from sea. The experience was AMAZZzzzzing!!!
Closed early without updates. No call back from my voicemail and no update to their webpage. If you are going to use these guys, call days in advance and make sure they are working. Manpower seems to be the issue.
This was such a random.and spontaneous plan that I made just by myself and I swear it was the best thing I could do that Saturday. Staff is super polite friendly and helpful. There is cubby to store your duffel bag or any belonging that you don't wanna take with you. If you go mid August then take the last 630 to 830 slot and enjoy sunset 🌇 plus it was super affordable, 45 plus TX for 2 hours and then 6 bucks for renting the waterproof safe bag which I would def recommend 💯

Awesome experience with Spencer and Kate, our tour guides. We spent 3 hrs kayaking around the cove, and Spencer told us some history of the area and some of the prime spots. They took us to an awesome spot for a rest and some snacks before heading back to shore. My team and I had a wonderful afternoon team building, and big thanks to Spencer and Kate as well as Deep Cove Kayaing

We had a great time on our 3 hour kayak tour with Deep Cove kayak centre. You definitely don’t need to do a tour but if you’re not from the west coast and are unfamiliar with kayaking in the ocean (we are use to Lake Ontario) it was comforting to go with a tour guide. We went further out than most kayak and paddle boards and got to see some seals pop up and cool jelly fish and starfish along the rocks. It is a bit pricey but I think renting a kayak isn’t that much cheaper on its own for that duration. There are a lot of boats, yachts and jet skis and not everyone out on the water are boat smart; that’s one thing I appreciated going with Spencer our tour guide!

First time at deep cove. We were with a group. The leaders for our group were amazing. Some people were late. And no sweat. No stress. Highly recommend a guided adventure if you haven’t been before. My friends and I signed up for the 3 hr deep cove explorer tour and it was such a phenomenal experience. Mind you, most of us had no prior kayaking experience but Fabio, our tour guide/instructor, helped us navigate the beautiful waters of Deep Cove. Oh Fabio Fabio Fabio. We could not have been more fortunate to have him by our side at all times. Halfway through the trip, he even gave us honey donuts to power us through the rest of our journey. When we got tired and couldn’t paddle anymore through the channels, he tugged us along his kayak. Fabio saved my life. Thoroughly enjoyed my adventure with him and would have stayed longer to kayak more but alas I had to return home to my WOMAN who was my true love. In another life I would have been following that European accented man with his luscious locks until the end of the world. 10/10 would come back to deep cove kayak and specifically ask for my man Fabio.
I wish to acknowledge how tremendous the employee Katie was at WOW tonight. It was my first time and I was really struggling with direction. She ended up towing me and I paddled. It was not an ideal situation and she helped me learn new skills and catch up to the group. She assisted me in feeling included and valued as a customer. I definitely will recommend your business to others. Katie was outstanding!

I booked a private tour as it fit my availability. I have quite a bit of kayaking experience, but it's been a long time since I've been on the ocean. My instructor, Hannah was awesome! She was great at answering all my questions, and the pace matched my abilities. It's a great place to visit, and to kayak. Highly recommended!
We had such a great adventure. My daughter who is 8 years old and I enjoyed this tour so much that we booked it again and we had a fantastic time canoeing with Stew. Thank you so much. That was the first time for us being on a canoe and we felt very safe when the weather became harsh the first time.

It's a brilliant way to spend a day - lovely scenery, plenty of wildlife around and our guide Blake is a great bloke and very knowledgeable.
You'll be tired at the end of the day and leave with some great memories!

We did a 3 days Canoe Trip with Bryen Hobbs Last Weekend and the only thing i can say is AWESOME! We learned a lot about the animals living here, saw many of them and enjoyed ourselves more than You could so anywhere else. Just the nature and you. Simply amazing.
So awesome that we've been on the 3 Day Safari with this company for two years in a row! This trip meets every expectation for a 'Real Canadian' Algonquin Canoe Adventure 1) extremely well organized 2) everything is included (tent, canoe, sleeping bag etc.) 3) delicious meals and snacks 4) wildlife (moose, beaver, mink, loons, mergansers, many different song birds, frogs, butterflies, turtles and more), 5) campfires, smores, beautiful starry night skies, and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets 7) swimming and cliff jumping, and so much more! What put this trip over the top for me was the attention to detail, attention to cleanliness and covid protocols, and the comfort of being with a trained guide who happens to be an excellent cook! The peace of mind that comes with being with a professional guide who could teach us and who knew what to do if there was an accident, bear encounter or other incident is priceless. The cost of the trip is a tiny fraction of what it would cost to purchase all of the equipment and we will definitely be back. At first I was hesitant to go camping with a group of 'strangers' but both trips were made so much more fun and interesting with great people. I highly recommend this company and this trip!

Absolutely perfect day with Stuart on Canoe Lake. Our tour was well organized with efficient use of time. Stuart is a perfect host patiently explaining the history, secrets and stories of Canoe Lake. Saw magnificent fora and fauna with ample time to take photos. Our complementary lunch was delicious and we stopped by the bakery to purchase items to take home. It was my birthday present to myself and it exceeded all my expectations. Going back again next year. Stuart’s passion and respect for Algonquin Park is displayed throughout. Thank you Stuart!!!!
This is one of the best places to go in Vancouver. Customer care was excellent. Very easy to book. All your valuables are stored safely and changing and bathroom facilities available. Instructors are great. They even push you off. Probably the most beautiful scenery in Vancouver to look at while on the water. Top tip, book early evening to see the sunset.
Had a wonderful evening on the water celebrating a wedding anniversary. Alex our tour guide was fantastic, super friendly and did a phenomenal job captaining the zodiac all the while offering up a history of Vancouver at the same time! We signed up for the Bowen Island dinner which I highly recommend! Dinner at Rustique Bistro was delicious as well!
