Well it took a bit to warm up to the place. Mainly because it was cool in the places and if you wanted a bath instead of a shower. None of the 3 units we were in had plugs for the drains, seems petty but it was irritating. Also they lacked in blankets. We dealt with the issues at hand and we loved it here. They were rustic and quiet, the staff were very friendly and left you alone. Which made it even better, for after going through a devistating house fire and losing absolutely everything. We most definitely needed the seclusion to gather our thoughts and battle with the insurance company. We did not need any complication at our new homes.
For that, I thank the excellent and friendly staff.
Sincerely Jeff Mathers
Had a great 1 night stay. Family of 6. Suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed was perfect for us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Bedding was clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable and didn't make any noise. Microwave and mini fridge, even some cupboards. Kids enjoyed the pool; small but clean. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty. Cereals, breads, eggs and sausages, yogurt and juices. Hotel was surrounded by many places to eat, restaurants and fast food options, McDonalds, Wendys, A & W, etc. Also any shopping you may need to pick up odds and ends or groceries; such as Walmart, Metro and Dollarama. Would stay here again.
Room was clean, Caffe maker good, breakfast just perfect for us, don't forget plug the fridge, (was disconnected) front desk friendly, good location.
There was only 1 problem we hear the heater (or some kind of compressor) from the roof or home depot building was anointed during the night every half hr was running for 10 minutes. We stay at 4th floor room 409.

Place was absolutely disgusting - the sheets had not been changed still had hair from previous person staying. I had not slept a minute because I was being bite by bed bugs and got rashes everywhere - DO NOT STAY HERE
Great room for affordable price when working out of town. Owners are very friendly and helpful

Hospitality is a term they are simply not familiar with. The woman at the front desk was as cheerful as a prisoner in the Russian Gulag. No smile, no introduction to the space, no information given just a blank sullen stare followed by a visa transaction for the full amount followed by a teensy tiny paper receipt.

Room smelled badly of body odour and ended up having to buy an air freshener which actually didn't eradicate the small even after airing out for two days ( I stayed for four). Bed was good and sheets and bathroom were clean and lots of decent towels and t.p.

Had to replace batteries in the remote upon arrival which was no big deal but, as I was the only guest and had booked ahead online, I would have expected things to be checked out thoroughly in at least that one room.

There is coffee and tea, mugs, plates and cutlery and ice available in a small kitchenette near the front desk but everything looked tired and cheerless and in a state of dissarray. A great lack of care there.

I understood when booking that it was an older 1950's era hotel and I had booked it specifically for it's history and "charm" but the vibe is very depressed and depressing. They have clearly dropped the ball on investing in any upgrades or in offering anything even close to resembling a spirit of hospitality in their demeanour or availability to their guests ( re: it took fifteen minutes to locate anyone to help with anything and I am very low maintenance).

Positives are the location; It's a pleasant, tree lined walk to downtown through a lovely trail a half block away and the hotel is quiet (at least during the week).

Grounds and hotel are a beautiful piece of architectural history (Frank Lloyd Wright) and it saddens me to see it's history and value disregarded and placed up on the rubbish heap of time by people as careless and cavalier about ownership or stewardship of such a landmark.
Room and location was amazing. Very beautiful view from our balcony. Maybe if they had a fire pit it outside it would have been better but regardless we definitely enjoyed our stay.

Don’t expect telephone manners when you call this motel. Even the manager Mary is rude and abrupt.
Since I was booking 3 rooms, I called direct to see if there was a better rate, but the treatment killed any purchase decision before I stayed here.

Very nice place
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was perfect and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable. The location is amazing and the view is beautiful. We will be back. Thank you.
Very clean and very friendly staff. Indoor heated salt water pool and hot tub were so good. Breakfast was very good. Metro next door was very handy for everything we needed. Would definitely go back. Thanks again Vicki for your help on our previous reservation.

This place is nothing like the website. I don’t know where the people who wrote the good reviews stayed but our rooms were so bad. Carpets so stained with ???? Bed sheets stained with blood. Lock on door says to lock at night for safety but it is painted shut and lock goes around in circles. Bathroom floor all sticky with ? Bathroom tile and grout not finished or if it was a mouse could come through the grout. Holes in walls. No more rooms available?? For real? Wish I could give it a negative. So bad
The staff at this particular property were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The rooms were immaculately kept and maintained. The continental breakfast was well stocked and yummy. All around great experience with our stay. Would recommend 100%

I recently stayed at 2400 Motel in Vancouver, and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. I highly recommend it!
Fantastic value. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Beds are amazing!
We were pleasantly surprised when, during check in, we were told that we could expect a Continental breakfast and it turned out it was an American style breakfast with egg and sausage. We got more than we expected.

The hotel is located centrally. Nothing much to see apart from big stores and parking lots as a view, but the value trumps the lack of anything picturesque out the window. 🙂

Recommended.
Very nice staff, the hotel is not new but they keep an eye on cleanliness. They constantly clean and change towels. The breakfasts are also delicious. Thank you to Canada for giving us the opportunity to live here for the first time, this is very important for us 🇺🇦🇨🇦
A wonderful location within a short walking distance of Big Tub Lighthouse, where we watched a beautiful sunrise. The room was spacious and clean with a large balcony and a great view! We also rented a clear kayak which was a very cool experience, and the staff was amazing. In sum it was a wonderful stay I would definitely recommend staying here!

Where to start.....
If you try to make the ceiling fan go any faster than the slowest speed, it might fall out of the ceiling.
The tub didn't drain properly when i took a shower. By the end I was ankle deep in water.
When I first walked into the room, I had to go around and plug in the fridge, air conditioner and all the lamps. (It was 34 degrees C that day)

The only saving grace was that the sheets were clean.
Everything was wonderful. Rooms spacious, very clean, beds comfortable, great view, close to Big Tub lighthouse, short drive to restaurants, etc. Only improvement I can think of would be umbrellas for the second floor units. We had hoped to spend a couple of hours on our deck during a sunny afternoon, but the sun was too intense. An umbrella for some shade would have been nice--a minor detail, really. Highly recommend.

We stayed here about a dozen times before Covid and really enjoyed it. With 2 dogs most times. Last year we were booked to stay for a couple of weeks but got a phone call from the new owners a week before our vacation to say that they were no longer allowing pets. It was a disappointment but we found other accommodation. The good point is this place is close to walking and biking trails, fast food, bars, grocery stores, pretty much whatever you would like. Just no pets allowed. Don't know if the new owners keep on top of it like the old owners did.

The location of the hotel is very good as it is within a 5-minute walk from the Big Tub Harbour. The room was okay and it had a nice patio. However, the service isn't worth the money you pay. We asked for extra towels and some shampoo, and left it as a door sign for them to consider (it's how they said it works). When we came back at night, the sign was still there. When we told this to an unfriendly receptionist girl there, she wasn't even apologetic. She brought in what we requested with an attitude. Though the location is good, we aren't staying there because of the poor service.
Average rooms within the budget. U will have to carry drinking water along with you. Standard breakfast was served. Enough channels were not available for kids too.
Staff are all very friendly. Check-in and check-out was fast. Place is not old, and it's clean. Very comfortable. Breakfast gives a variety and food is not bad (I really just had bread, scrambled eggs, and sausages). Appreciate the 24-hour hot water and unlimited tea and coffee. Can have more choices on the teas. Internet was cutting in and out at times. This was my 3rd time staying in this hotel.
Very dirty. I found some dirt and hair on the bathroom floor.
The pool is very small and dirty, and the smell of chlorine is strong and can reach even to Mars!

Breakfast food is not eaten (cupcake tastes like moldy bread).

The mattress is not comfortable at all and is not sturdy. When you sit on it, it tilts, then you find yourself falling to the ground while you are sleeping.. Yes, my teenage son fell to the ground while he was sleeping..
I will never ever come back here.
We stayed at this hotel while visiting the neighbouring Wasaga beach. The hotel was beautiful. The front desk staff were very friendly. Valerie was especially helpful and kind. Our 6 year old loved the free continental breakfast and the lovely pool. The room was immaculately clean and modern. There was everything we needed for our 2 night stay and more. A very reasonable price for the level of accommodations this hotel provides. Highly recommend it…we will be back regularly.
We booked this resort for our 1st tobermory trip. The room is clean and tidy. We love the view to the water and the patio. It just i can not sleep on very soft mattress. And i am a light sleeper. The portable ac unit run every hr in the midnight and woke me up. Its not the resort problem. It is quiet a good choice to stay with this resort. Just walking distance to the light house. Highly recommended

Older Motel. Great Staff who were very accommodating. If you want the 5 star go to a Hilton and be judged about your clothing and appearance. If you are trying to impress not your accomodation. Clean, well staffed and good location.

This place is nothing like they show in the pictures. The bathroom is very tiny and whoever did the tiles, looks like he was drunk. Besides, there is not a microwave, refrigerator, or a coffeemaker. The carpet is stained, it has some old cheap furniture. the grass is all unkempt and there are cigarette butts lying everywhere. The I think that the owner should renovate this dump for pride
Big Tub Harbour Resort provided us with a wonderful weekend stay.
We stayed in room #23. Great sized room, very comfy bed, with a beautiful view of the Harbour.
Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The clear kayaks provided an amazing experience of seeing the ship-wrecks.
I highly recommend the resort and we look forward to a trip back next season!!
We stayed Aug 2023. This is a give Motel. It's older but clean. Rooms didn't smell, bed was fine, shower and bathroom were no problem at all. It's not new and modern, but served us well. Recommended!
Place needs a little freshening up. It is the little things. A lot of garbage in the flower beds, the interior main entrance needs a fresh coat of paint. The rooms need to be refurbished. But matress was comfortable. The gentleman at the front counter was very friendly and helped us a lot, he gets 5 stars.

Wonderful little motel. Nothing fancy but great location and staff are wonderful and accommodating. I believe some of the rooms have been updated, but ours was not (which we didn't mind at all). The rooms are very clean.
Hotel was kinda dirty, elevator floor needed cleaning for sure. We had the king suite with a jacuzzi, bed was comfy. Room was big. Basic cable on tv. Fridge, microwave. Breakfast was basic and super busy, we decided to skip it
This is the super worst hotel that I have been there 😔😔😔, unfortunately they charged me for breakfast, but there was not any breakfast only the coffee, 😔 with very dirty microwave, dirty kitchen, dirty hot water heater 🤮 dirty dishes YUQ !, Ho my god they just need the money and then nobody is there to help you with anything... The bedroom has bedbugs, hoooo, I had a very hard time on one night 😔😔😔😔

Disclaimer :
I have personally not stayed at this location, however recently my friends who were visiting from Ontario, booked this place and this is based on their feedback.

Awesome location, friendly staff, open setting for rooms, all on the ground level.
Rooms were clean and service staff was very helpful.

The major drawback is that each room does not necessarily have a small microwave, or fridge. So if you have kids, you need to choose the kitchenette option when booking.

Less than 15ins walk from the Nanaimo and 29th Avenue skytrain stations which is a blessing, transit bus service also available as it falls on the Major Kingsway road.

It's much cheaper than most other options but that's for a reason, the rooms are very out of date, and not exactly the most clean looking. The hot water didn't work, the bathroom tile looked quite dirty, and there were stains on the carpet.
On the positive side, the bedding was very clean, the outside of the units are very cute, convenient to get a bus down to English bay and Stanley park, some good food options close by, and all the staff were very nice.
We stayed at the Big Tub Harbour Resort for 3 nights. The staff was friendly and informative upon arrival. Our room was clean and spacious. The view from the upper balcony is beautiful, there is some obstruction due to trees but if you stay in the rooms at either end of the balcony, your view would be perfect. We rented kayaks twice to take in the scenic beauty and the experience was easy and well organized. The resort is a 3 minute walk from the lighthouse which is beautiful to watch the sun go down in the evenings. This resort is a bit out of town but my family enjoyed being on the water so it was worth it to see the sun rise and boats sail by us throughout the day. I 100% recommend staying at the Big Tub Harbour Resort next time you're visiting Tobermory.

My grandparents stayed here about 3 years ago during peak COVID when they came back for quarantine. I know I'm late on this review but my grandparents loved the place. The rooms were spacious, clean, and friendly, It also includes a kitchen so that's a bonus. Excellent place

We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean, beds were amazingly comfortable, bathroom was clean and spacious, tv had great cable. Great location!! walking distance to tim hortons and all restaurants. Mary at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. We will definitely go back very soon.
This is an older hotel but my room was impeccably clean and the comfortable bed made for a great sleep. One of the best things about this hotel is the ten minute walk to bustling downtown Collingwood. Five star value.

Mold in rooms, rats running around. All around dirty. The window on my door broke because the door swings shut by itself and as it did smashed into my elbow cutting it. Instead of being concerned about their guests and fixing it right away, they put some really thin 1/8 inch thick wood across in place of window. It stayed like that for the duration of my stay about 1 month, on top of that charged me 200 for a small thin piece of single pain glass and didn't even bother to fix it. Abdoloutly horrific place to stay. My laundry was taken out of the dryer and given to another room by the front desk lady. The cleaning ladies are very polite and courteous but thats about all I have to say good about this dive! Oh and it is far too expensive for whst you get there. Better off with an air b&b or a tent
Like eating in a museum! I felt like I stepped back in time. They have memorabilia dating all the way back to the early 1900s. Our waitress was very kind and quick to serve us. We had breakfast and were not disappointed. Worth a try!
The staff at the reception was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, and they kindly allowed me to extend my stay by an hour. However, I have to rate it lower due to the condition of the carpet in the room, which was in need of improvement. Additionally, there was a slight uncomfortable odor in the room, and walking on the carpet resulted in our feet becoming dirty.
Dirty, dark, grimly outdated hotel as a whole. The rooms had wallpaper peeling off the walls, fixtures and fittings which weren’t secured, stained carpets and nasty smells throughout!
This hotel needs new management/owners and a serious remodel as it is currently disgusting and no reputable holiday firm should be using them.
On top of that they had the cheek to take a $100 security deposit at the start of the stay! They should have been paying us that as an apology for staying there!
Please do not book this hotel!
1) Upon checking out our room, there was a pile of dirty towels in the closet, and when asked to sanitize the area, the woman looked at me and walked out.
2) When I was showering the next day, I found a cockroach in the bathroom.
3) Lastly, when we were packing up to leave, there was a used condom wrapper under the edge of the bed.
I was quite displeased with those issues. And would probably not be returning to that location.
Beds were comfortable, and the managers' hospitality was very friendly. However, since we have stayed there 3 times previously, I would not be returning to that location. The housekeeping staff needs to do a better job and/or be fired. It's not difficult to spend an extra 5 minutes per room, making sure it's clean. Especially when I have 2 tween girls.
Dirty Rooms, dirty bathroom, rooms are smelly as not ventilated properly, Air con noise like a busted truck engine. Insects and cockroaches in the room.
Bath towels smell like frying oil.

Some of the receptionists have a vulgar attitude and some of them are nice... The young guys especially have a great attitude.

The whole experience in this hotel was terrible. With their rates you can find a better place especially in downtown Toronto.

I don't recommend this hotel for anyone at all.

Breakfast is bad and the coffee tastes like colored water

No closet for clothes. No laundry on site.

Better stay in a motel than this hotel.
Wanted to thank Benny for finding us alternative accomodation after our booking was cancelled, and our travel agent did not inform us. We were so relieved to have Benny help us at such short notice. Thank you Benny. Shane and Kath

About 4 years ago, my family and I ended up with a room with a broken window because we made a reservation at 9 o'clock at night, there was nowhere else for us to go, because the other when we tried to go to was already booked and full, so we literally had nowhere to go other than here. So we went here, we got in there, there was 5 of us, but only 2 beds, so we had to make that work, somehow.

I'm giving it 2 stars because it was useable.
Very good food 👌
Wish the sheets and room was cleaner, didn't feel super comfortable here. Also took a bit of time to contact the desk due to some issues connecting to the satellite from my room for some reason due to some interference.
It's exactly what it looks like in the pictures. Run down and dated, but it is clean. It was a comfortable stay.
A good conversation piece to compliment your trip, Elvis and Priscilla stayed there, Chris Hadfield too!
The snow was not removed off the steps and sidewalk so not very accessible.
I give this review 1 star because the front staff we’re friendly and organized.
First it’s the odour of the room, than entering the bathroom the room looked clean but when looking up the paint was peeling from the ceiling and a large hole just outside the bathtub on the wall, I wish I’d taken a picture. We were given two half rolls of toilet paper, that was odd. The room looked clean but it was so dark and smelt, who knows when the rug, bedspread or curtains were last cleaned, I only say this because the Venetian blinds were filthy so I have to wonder.
The decor is 1970’s and the price was $213 a night. I know it’s Blue Mountain and it’s time to ski and have fun but for that price and the conditions of the room it was nothing but robbery. No I will never stay here again.

After reading reviews was a bit skeptical but it seemed that most of them were regarding rude staff. I personally spend little to no time talking to anyone when traveling for work so did not mind. The rooms were much cleaner than expected, I felt they did a great job of setting it up. Everything that was needed was there, though I could've used an iron. Location was great and easy to find.
I stopped here to grab a bite but they were closed. I head back to my truck and about 20 mins later the gentleman comes out with soup and sandwich. So awesome 👌 thank you so much.
Dinner-style restaurant with good food and a great decor.
The worst customer service I have ever come across. The lady should have just yelled hurry up and pay' because after you walk in you're 100% not wanted after a few seconds if you ask to use the washroom before buying something. The man was actively aggressive in a physical sense. I will never go back. You can cry poor me all you want about being a small business. The fact is customer service goes a long way. As well as word of mouth. So if you're struggling theres very good evident reason. Someone please get Gordon Ramsay here to call them donkeys.
Had lunch here - Oh my gosh! Home made bread, in house made iced tea and hand cut fries. Topped off with friendly service. Makes me wish I lived here so I could come back tomorrow.
Norci at the front made my trip. All smiles, good service and went out of her way to accommodate me. No shuttle but she called and paid for the cab 😀. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. It was one of best cleaned rooms I’ve been in. The hotel is a bit dated and tired in some ways, but the staff makes up for it.
Ramada hotel is good place to stay with your family after long trip. Located near Richmond's malls and restaurants, you'll always find something to do. From the hotel, there is a skytrain within walking distance that will help you get to almost anywhere in Vancouver.
The rooms are nice and quite clean, each room has a mini fridge and a shower room with a bathtub. Also, some rooms have a balcony, those that do not have a balcony have floor air conditioning. It is recommended to turn it on a couple of times a day to blow the room to keep it fresh.
In the morning on the first floor you will be greeted by a modest and lovely breakfast. Coffee, fried toast, Philadelphia, jams, juices and delicious pastries, everything you need for a good breakfast. In the evening you can visit restaurants nearby.
Just stopped for lunch...delicious! Homemade and full flavourful. We ate here before years ago. They haven't lost their touch...so glad they made it through covid.
I struggled with this review as they were nice but they were busier than the staff could handle we struggled to get the gas pumps turned on after we provided our cards and wanted to get some food and they said it would be over a half hour wait as the cook was swamped with a party of 8. We ended up not getting food and a gas stop which took nearly 45 minutes
I was on a flight that was canceled at midnight and I was able to call and speak to the night desk manager who was able to accommodate my stay. When I arrived, checkin was quick and the clerk was very pleasant. I was in room 308 which is behind a strange first door along with 309 butonce insidevit was very clean, the furniture was cozy and comfortable and I appreciated that a lot of coffee was provided, considering my long delays. My room faced a green belt which had construction but at 7:30 so not very disturbing. He bed was extremely comfortable and I happy all the bathroom samples were supplied for my shower including a working hairdryer. Even though I only stayed one night, I was pleasantly surprised by this property and would definitely recommend to anyone else who needs a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay and freshen up.

Booked this room through Pleasant Manor Motel. Retrieved the key at the pleasant manor location before going to the Collingwood motel location for the room. The room was very clean and seemed newly renovated.

Due to reasons, we had to check in very late and had to call the the owner of pleasant manor motel if they could accommodate us. He allowed us to delay our check in from 2:00pm to 10:30pm which was after their closing. He was very polite, welcoming, and accommodating. He also provided us with extra towels for our room.
Wouldn't recommend if you're staying in Vancouver for holidays, but it's a quick and easy place to stay if you have an early morning flight. They will arrange a taxi for you if required.
We ended up staying in 202, which was extremely loud- you can hear everyone walking or driving down the street. We were thankful to only have to stay there 1 night because if this.
I've worked at hotels, so I understand that it's a necessity to put someone in these noisy rooms when the hotel is at full occupancy however, I would have thought they could choose a quieter room on a Monday night. Oh well.
I had a 2 night stay in a room last week and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I think I got a great deal with the pricing, considering the area the hotel is in. The room and building were also very clean. However, there was somewhat of a funky, musty smell in the room, and the key cards didn't always work, but no biggie for the price I paid and it wasn't anything major that a little air freshener couldn't solve. Overall, I'm very satisfied with its simplicity and would stay there again.

Pretty good experience overall. Stayed for one night during a weekend trip to the city. The building is a bit outdated but equipment worked fine and things were clean overall. The only issue I encountered was my room key not working shortly after checking in. The staff mentioned the keys demagnetize easily and quickly resolved my issue
first time visit today, excellent food, nice variety, very good service and no delays at all.
Absolute dump. Way over charged. Found pizza pockets in fridge after it was apparently cleaned and sanitized. Was told it was a very nice room even though that's the most trashiest dumpiest motel I've ever stayed in. And I get a trashy room after telling them I'm a repeat customer because they were nice people. DO NOT GO HERE
I understand that this is a 2 star hotel but basic necessities like wifi and clean sanitation is not part of the package.

The bathroom was filthy. The hair dryer had dust all over it, and the tub had black marks?

The wifi did not work. Period.

Why advertise something that is not there?

The building is so old and rundown.

The staff were friendly but my checkout was 11am and I had a knock on my door at 1030am.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

On top of that, nobody works at reception after midnight and I was trying to enter the lobby but my card did not work. Luckily a tenant was there to open it for me and had he not be there I would’ve been locked out.

Whoever owns this place, get your stuff together and stop being stingy. It’s pathetic.
Not worth over $100/night 😒😒
First issue, majority of those staying were unsavy people. Broke down vehicles all over the property. Pool IS NOT operational and definitely not kept up. My room was disgusting and also unkept... Crumbling walls, peeling paint on balcony ceiling, no fitted sheet on the bed, dirty doors, and a disgusting inoperable coffee machine. BS cable-lile almost no channels. See pictures...
Went for lunch and ordered the BLTC with fries. Homemade bread for the sandwich, and homemade fries. This was definitely the best BLT I've had. So much flavour and made to perfection. Will be returning for sure.
Also very friendly staff, great service.
We love the Alamo! They have amazing food, and I love that the menu is really simple. Service is great, and its overall an awesome experience. Definitely give it a go if you're heading that way!

Terrible experience. We booked by phone and were given a rate for the Pleasant Manor Motel. Upon arrival we were told our room was actually at this motel., The Collingwood Motel. Owner owns both locations. It was disgusting, holes in the ceiling, open wires in the wall, mattress on 2nd bed wasn't a mattress, it was 2 ft short of a real mattress, not sure what it was. We returned to the office and owner was hostile, extremely rude and refused to give us our money back saying we used the room. Then he called the cops on us!!! We couldn't believe it. Our little family is pretty chill and doesn't need anything fancy and we haven't had a weekend off together since March. We were just looking for a weekend away with our son. Do not stay here. Do not stay at the Pleasant Manor Motel either, unless you are looking to get ripped off.
The room we stayed in was a 2 queen bedroom. It was big enough room. but we found the towels had visible stains. The blankets had dirty and ever washed stains. It was disgusting. We did not use those blankets luckily the sheets were clean so we used them. The AC was keep tripping so the temperature control was bad. The washroom window had no blind and it was open in a non-fenced backyard. so it was not appropriate at all. The room has big windows but none of them had locks. It was not safe at all and easy to break in the room. I think they can improve quality by being serious about their business. I will not come back to this motel and will not recommend if you are going to stay with family.
A no frills motel which was better than what I expected. Very clean room which seemed to have been renovated recently. The bathroom was spotless and the mattress was perfectly firm. I recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable room to stay for the night after a day of skiing at Blue Mountain.
Things that can be improved/added: a rack for hanging clothes, a night stand by the bed, an additional hook in the bathroom to hang clothes/wet towel, and maybe a more visible sign for the main office door (hard to find at night).

Absolutely fantastic place, great food and service. Loved their breakfast, too
The rooms smell like weed, as well as the bed sheets. The whole hotel is very outdated and not clean. I would definitely not recommend sleeping in this hotel because it just isn’t pleasant. I also noticed that the walls had mold on them. The carpet was old with an odor and the furniture was very old and falling apart. Everything seemed to be discolored. To whoever runs this apartment you need to renovate and clean these rooms very soon because they are in need of it.
So i usually review hotels very properly. This hotel is disgusting. It smells like weed and smoke (even tho it's non smoking room, clearly isn't. There's so many stains on the carpet (which seems very old). If you see carefully there's mold around everywhere and i also found a condom on the floor. They don't clean the place. The hotel itself is broken and damaged and old. You can get another hotel room worth the same price that's way better. I will add pictures soon. The bathroom is just super ghetto and old. Even the drawer, couch, beds, tv, lamp, etc. everything is in bad condition. Don't go here cause this is in fact a one star hotel in reality. Good luck with your stay in Toronto :)
Our room was nice, had a jacuzzi tub👍🏻
The room was clean and bed comfortable. Decent price, stayed for two nights.
Only issue was the AC unit didn't work the greatest, could have been cooler. The patio door a little hard to open. Staff very friendly, would come again🙂
I love this hotel, they are the only hotel out there with smocking rooms so if you book here, take that into account, there will be some smoke smells. I won't lie, the hotel is dated, but it has a nice vintage vibe to it. Keep in mind this is not a 5 star hotel, it is clean, the rooms are big, you can smoke, they have a pool, continental breakfast is included and the price is decent, I will definetly return. Just as an observation: if you are going to have smoking rooms try to split them in half instead of mixing them with the non smoking rooms so that non smokers doesn't complain because of the smells (smokers won't complain believe me). Also id like to give kudos to the staff specially the cleaning ladies, they were very kind and did a great job.
Stopped at the cafe while driving through and had a great experience! Servers were very nice and attentive and the food was beyond what we expected, very good. Regular diner style burgers and chicken and things but it was all made well. Multiple vegetarian and vegan options which I really liked
The restaurant was well decoreted for Halloween. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
Terrible place for the price! Extremely dirty, common areas such as hallways, stairs, walkways, etc are absolutely filthy. Hallways and room had a weird smell, shower had no proper water pressure whatsoever, room wasn't up to standard and it was a dump. There were stains all over the carpet, chairs and all over. Definitely not appropriate for a family with kids or even a couple. Most of the staff is not very courteous or helpful and they need some training in customer service and should learn how to be more hospitable and accommodating. Overall a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
DO NOT STAY HERE
Large pee (& other) stains on sheets. Many hairs on bedsheets & towels. So many spiders & cobwebs outside room. Bugs and cobwebs in the room as well. The bathtub was full of bugs.
Where air conditioner was installed, there was no sealing and we could see outside the room.
Air conditioner kept turning off and the room was boiling.
There was Only 1 screen for 3 windows, we could not air our room without MANY more bugs coming in. No curtains on bathroom windows. No bedside table to put anything down on, and no counter in bathroom.
The Kitchenette had no supplies in it whatsoever.
Tiny garbage provided, but no recycling.
The bed was so firm we debated sleeping on the floor. The lady who checked us in was nice, but she did not actually work there.
Only 2 towels provided to 2 people for 2 nights.
Wish I could give no stars.
Only went there to eat brunch. Great classics, and the owner puts his heart and soul in the business.
