Neat and friendly 🤗
Great place, safe.
Very good place to curling
The benches for spectators are very uncomfortable for the length of a swim meet. Bring something to sit on.
Wifi is unreliable in the pool area.
Clean, nice washrooms, parking is far from the door which makes for a chilly walk in the winter
My first visit here. I enjoyed watching the swimming esp of my granddaughter.
I swim with the BAC as a Masters swimmer. The facility and coaches are excellent. I encourage everyone who can swim a mile to join Masters swimming at the club.

Local boat ramp.
Nice and cozy if your having a smaller party or wedding. Staff were all polite.
This is my favourite venue for a wedding in gfw, the food for meals is always delicious, the war memorial section is always Interesting to me no matter how many times we go there. The bar area has places to sit down separate from the hall. The patio is conveniently located. The only down side is their selection of drinks is poor. They were forwarded this was a “bay” wedding with heavy drinkers and outside the typical domestic beer there was a selection of 3-4 coolers. I was told the White Russians were tasty though
Nice place and nice people

Great location and courts... not a high skill level among players though, and you have to wait for someone to die to get in.

No doorbell. Called, got no answer. Doors locked. Must be a super private, super prestigious club.
Great service and friendly people!
Très chaleureux! Belle journée!
This is a place everyone should check out.

The history on these walls is staggering.
I plan to visit next time I am through the area but here is a interior pic courtesy of reddit user hotdogmaggot.
Nice private tennis club. Good courts & clubhouse.
This is an amazing place.
A huge collection of war history detailing the significant contributions of Newfoundlanders during both World Wars.

My Dad volunteered and served in the Royal Navy in the Second World War so this was particularly relevant to me.
However, I would recommend this place to anyone as a must see.
The season has started
Great place to rent for a party or just to have some fun! Love curling.

Fantastic sports centre with multiple pools, fitness rooms hockey rinks and football field. Just went through a massive renovation in the last few years. Multiple change rooms and sitting/viewing areas. Awesome facility.
Great swim club, daughter started in swim school and working up to competitive level. She loves the coaches and progresses well every week with new skills.
I play underwater rugby at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Center every Wednesday night. The staff is friendly and the pool is typically reasonably clean. For anybody looking for a deep and big pool with diving boards and waterslides it is hard to recommend any other pool in this regard

Private tennis club with stellar courts. Gracious members. Many people on wait list to join ... for years...but courts are often empty.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff
Excellent War memobilia display in NL. Friendly staff and patrons. The welfare of veterans is the number one priority branch number 12 Grand Falls Newfoundland Labrador
Vraiment plaisant! Venez essayer le curling!
Très belle endroit pour jouer au curling.
Great caterung for events such as weddings and anniversaries!
The boat ramp is very deep.
Everything started good but after the phone rang she seemed in a rush. We agreed on a set amout based on her taking her time but she started rushing halfway through it. Not the worst but not the best either.
I went with the buytopia deal and was very impressed. Fantastic establishment. Staff were friendly and professional. Good training, proper technique. Very clean. Would go again. Would recommend.
I wish I Googled this “spa” before the purchase of a voucher.
First, it took me two months to book an appointment as they do not answer phone calls and do not return messages. Now I discovered that it was not only my experience.
They called me back only after I reported them to Buytopia where I purchased “the deal”.
As it did not work to cancel my deal altogether, co-owner (called herself Rebecca) told me that as I am too late!!!! she will not give me an appointment for weekend or closer to evening. So, I would have to take a day off to go there. After I convinced her that late booking is not my fault she “suddenly” discovered available Sunday window.
Spa looks well equipped and luxury.
Unfortunately, owners do not understand that it is not equipment that makes a spa. It’s people, skills and respect to customers.
Despite it was Sunday spa was almost empty. Few personnel, one family and myself.
They all appeared to know each other, were hugging, kissing, discussing family and other personal news and cracking all the time, making me feel like I am somebody’s party crasher. Unwelcomed.
Lady who did my facial looked like she is in disparate need of one herself. She was constantly pulling my face down, probably trying to adjust it to her own standards. Initially her hands were very cold and she politely informed me about it without an attempt to warm them up. It’s my problem. After this facial I felt 20 years older.
Manicure and pedicure were the only good part. They were performed by Azi who was very considerate and professional.
Despite my package included also massage, paraffin treatments, spa and pool, my “facial lady” rushed to inform Rebecca that I am dome and can leave! Right, it was not my party.
Definitely, Rebecca did not care to remind me that I need a swimsuit, so I did not have a chance to “enjoy” their salt water pool.
I had to manage myself the sauna operations as nobody cared to show me around.
And “20 min relaxation massage” was something else! Right of the bet, Rebecca explained that I shouldn’t even dream about massage on this deal. She told me not even take my clothes off and not lie on the stomach. For five min she jammed my neck, then told me stories about the owners of this retirement home and spa and let me go. Other reviews say she does not have a license. I didn’t ask but it did not look like she knows what she is doing or cared about her or spa reputation.
So, conclusion.
Well equipped, expensive spa continues desperately to sell their “deals” trying to get at least something from it, fill the time and avoid providing services.
Not-understanding customers do not rush back.
