Love this place! 1Very polite and friendly staff here. Tried the surf and turf option for the first time was the best $18 I spent on food takeout. Mandarin orange added a nice element of sweetness in the bowl. Sauces was also very delicious. Everything tasted fresh and overall fantastic option for a healthy, quick meal! Will definitely be back here!

Great poke place. The proteins and veggies are fresh. The flavors are good.
You won't have a dry poke ball.
It's a go to lunch place for an office bite.

- Waited pretty long even though I went there on weekday. So recommend to make reservations in advance especially are you a big party.

- So satisfying food!! There was nothing disappointed out of my orders.

Highly recommend!!

The food was good and the service was fantastic. Very friendly staff.
On a regular basis, I find myself patronizing this establishment for the exquisite crab in savory sauce and the invigorating cold seafood sashimi noodles they offer. The taste of both dishes consistently exceeds expectations, although I must admit that the grilled meat option tends to be rather mediocre in comparison. The quality of service, on the other hand, is noteworthy, and it's worth mentioning that the recent experience is a testament to that. Nevertheless, it appears that in recent times, there has been a discernible decrease in portion sizes—a change that could potentially be attributed to the ongoing phenomenon of inflation.

marinated raw crab was great! bbq platter for 3-4 and a pair of crabs was plenty for 5 people. Had to wait 45 minutes to sit down though, even later at 9pm

I had the marinated raw crab combo and it was sooo good, however you shouldn't order if it's your 1st date or if you're not comfortable to eat with your hand and suck the meat off the shell 😅 can be kinda messy. The crab came with rice & tofu soup.

My husband had beef short rib stew, it was well cooked, very tender, easy to get off the bone but the taste was a bit too sweet for me.

Servers were okay but you will need to ring the bell for their attention. What prevents me from rating 5 stars is they only give you 90 mins to dine in. Overall, it was a good experience, we will come back.

Customizable poke bowl sizes, reasonable prices, lots of topping options.

For some reason the person behind the counter spoke really quiet so I couldn't hear. There is very limited seating inside, this is more of a takeout spot.

They are very generous with the sauce here so you may want to ask for it on the side. Overall not bad

The BBQ-prime beef boneless short rib was really fresh and delicious with well marbled. And the salad was also fresh and well seasoned. The servers were so kind to help us cook the BBQ whole time. Other soup and meal were good and the soy sauce marinated raw crabs were good just I ate in Korea.
I would like to come back again to enjoy wonderful Korean BBQ and meals.

Been coming here for years, but just started writing yelp reviews.

The best poke bowl in Toronto, in my opinion, and one of the best in the world (I’ve been to Hawaii, where it originated from, and still think this is amazing).

Food: 5/5 - I get the lava blaze every Monday or Tuesday and it is fantastic. My personal spin on it is having it with grain blend, take out the orange fish eggs and replace it with seaweed salad, as well as take out the fried onions and replace with green onions. It is fantastic and I never get sick of it.

Service: 5/5 - The workers are nice and very efficient, because the place gets super busy. Awesome folks!

Ambiance: 5/5 - It’s a take out spot, so there isn’t really an ambiance, but it is a nice vibe of a place! Feels like a poke food truck but that’s in a small store.

Overall: 4.5/5 - I give it a 4.5/5 only because it is a bit pricey. $18 for a bowl after-tax, however, they really do use good quality ingredients.

We ordered BBQ, raw beef and raw crab during our visit yesterday. It was a lot of work to eat the crab so the BBQ griller just kept burning however the waitress was so kind to help us cook the BBQ meat the whole time while greeting other customers. We would definitely come back again!

Big Umami - A great first impression of poke bowls for me, a good combination of ingredients that feel healthy and light, yet filling at the same time. The salmon tasted quite fresh and was marinated in a soya based umami sauce.

Mahalo iā 'oe !!
An awesome experience and super yummy experience with solid quality poké scoops, natural, fresh and quirky ingredients. I hauled a lunchtime Large Build Your Own Bowl Shrimp and Tofu which was delicious, wholesome and delightfully colorful. The TPB Hot sauce was yummy, but not truly spicy.
I must admit, the poké scoops are seriously stingy and service isn't truly welcoming but it's a solid feast.

One thing for sure this spicy pork bone soup was DELICIOUS. The soup was packed with flavor and the meat was the most tender thing and wasn’t too spicy at all! Would 10/10 come back for this dish.
Spicy rice cake with cheese was decent too. Wish they added more cheese because that little amount is not worth 3$. Texture of rice cake was perfect though and the sauce was mild in spice and not too overpowering in flavor.
In the special menu we got the spicy braised monkfish and the seafood was so fresh and delicious. Once you’re done with the seafood they mix rice in with seaweed green onion and black pepper I believe which makes a nice crispy fried rice.
Overall experience was great and the staff helped us make the food and had great smiles!
I would come back 😌
The place is quite spacious. In general, the foods were good, though the bbq meats were bit though for some reason. The service was fast and good. However, they only let you eat in for 1.5 hours only, no matter how much you order, so you must eat in the hurry and save the conversation.

I’ve been here twice. They are always packed so I would recommend booking a reservation. The staff were hospitable and attentive. One of the few Korean barbecue restaurants (that I’ve been to) that offer to help cook the meat for you. The pricey for the portions, but everything was very tasty and fresh.

I had the large "Little Island" plant based bowl with tofu which was a very hefty portion that I couldn't finish. It was fresh and delicious.

Doesn't seem you can sit inside. But there are now 4 colourful Muskoka chairs outside, now that the weather is warmer.

Note: This place is not accessible. There are steep steps leading up to the entrance.
