Exellent acceuil, bien situé, gratuit pour ceux qui on la carte raiffeisen, grand musée impressionnant sur 4 étages principalement dans des vitrines.

a wonderful exposition and unforgettable impressions and emotions that bring back the memory of childhood in Basel. You must visit this museum, you will not regret it for a moment. The museum is located right next to Barfüsslerplatz.
The kids playing room is awesome and always staffed with a lovely person. Accessible with the standard ticket for an adult (CHF 5) and provides hours of fun from games and books to crawling a tunnel and crafting animal paper masks.
A must visit while in Basel. Suitable for all ages. Exciting. Fine art of toys. Shows a history of how toys are made through the years. Me and the kids loved it. It's highly highly recommended

Dieses Museum bestätigt einmal mehr, dass die kleineren Naturmuseen (wie z.B. auch Solothurn und Liestal) der Schweiz super sind. Tolle Sonder- und Dauerausstellung, die Kinder (7 und 10jährig) happy, die Eltern auch. Das Ferienbasteln haben wir per Zufall erlebt und hat den ganzen Besuch noch gekrönt. Wir kommen wieder!
A vast array of toys and collectibles awaits you! Allocate at least 2 hours to fully appreciate every item on display. During our visit, we spent 2.5 hours exploring but only had time to skim through the first floor before the museum closed. This place caters to adult toy enthusiasts and history aficionados alike. On Sunday afternoon it was relatively quiet, but it's worth noting that due to the nature of the interactive tablet tour could become noisy if crowded. Having the option to connect headphones would enhance the experience.
Musée agréable regroupant les jouets de l'époque, avec beaucoup d'objets de collection. Les jouets sont parfois mobiles, un petit plus pour un musée.
Le travail était très minutieux, c'était bien d'avoir des photos à l'appui montrant les propriétaires de ces jouets.
Le système de la tablette est pas mal pour être immergé dans l'ambiance de l'époque et comprendre comment ce domaine s'est formé. Il y a un petit jeu de balle à prendre en main qui est sympa à faire.
Juste dommage qu'il n'y ait pas une continuité avec des jouets de notre époque pour voir vraiment l'évolution jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
Il faut laisser les poussettes à la réception mais il y a un ascenseur disponible permettant d'aller sur les différents étages du musée.
Sinon très bien, je recommande.

Tolles Museum, liebevoll gestaltet und insbesondere mit Kindern ein kurzweiliges und lehrreiches Erlebnis. Freundliches Personal und kurze Wartezeit.

Dort erinnern zahlreiche Hinweistafeln im typischen Zeitgeistduktus an die Verbrechen des Kolonialismus. Weltentdecker werden durch die Texte generell in ein Licht einer unterstellten Menschenfeindlichkeit gerückt - eine sehr eindimensionale und fragwürdige Darstellung.

Nice place to explore human body. Upstairs floor is great fun!
So nice for kiddos, teenagers and even adults! The staff is nice, though you nearly never meet them because the tour is conducted through an iPad. We went an hour before closing, so we had the whole place to ourselves, I recommend you do the same if you hate crowded spaces.
I do not know the tickets price, as we entered using the Swiss travel pass, however I image it to not be to expensive.

Wir besuchten heute zum ersten Mal das Naturmuseum Winterthur und waren begeistert, wie kinderfreundlich die Ausstellung aufgebaut ist. Immer wieder gibt es Stellen, wo man Felle der Tiere anfassen kann. Überraschende Highlights: die Abteilung Mineralien und die kritische Ausstellung über Kolonialismus und Exponate. Sehr freundliche Dame am Empfang!
Mich persönlich hätte noch wundergenommen, wie alt die jeweiligen Exponate sind. Das Naturmuseum Chur schreibt diese mit Datum an.

Wir haben mit unserer Klasse die Ausstellung Erde am Limit besucht.
Mit dem unterstützten Teil und der Ausstellung sind wir soweit zufrieden, dass unsere Lernenden sich geleitet mit dem Thema auseinander setzten konnten.

I recommend to viisit it often, during different exhibitions. It turned out that even an exhibition of stones was so interesting for kid!

Sehr Schönes Modernes Naturkunde Museum auch für Kinder geeignet mit Bastel Ecke. Kunstmuseum ist auch im Hause muss aber extra bezahlt werden. Café mit Kleinigkeiten. Behindertengerecht (Eingang vom Parhaus aus). Eintritts Preise normal. Immer wieder gerne.
Interessantes, gut gemachtes Museum über die Entstehung des Lebens und dessen Weiterentwicklung seit der Entstehung der Erde vor ca. 4600 Millionen Jahren. Es gibt auch einen "Entdecker-Pfad" wo Kinder auch viele Sachen berühren und ausprobieren können.
Since the Zurich card offered discount on some museums and particularly 50 percent off for this one we decided to visit it.
The museum is quite informative but more suitable for children. It has a lot of fun activities to do which might be interesting for adults as well to try but since we had a very short stay in Zurich and wanted to visit one of its many interesting museums, I felt this museum wasn't really worth it.
Some sections are only in German but a printed guide was given.

Kulturama - klein und fein. Auf kleinem Raum wird einem die Evolution spannend erklärt. Ergänzt wird das Ganze noch durch Sonderausstellungen. Viele Möglichkeiten sich aktiv an Experimenten zu beteiligen. Auch für Kinder ist ein Besuch absolut lohnenswert.
Excellent little exhibition space about our place, through time, in the animal kingdom. Well worth a visit. Great for the kids too.
Sehr Kinderfreundliches Naturmuseum. Heute Sonntag hatte es einen betreuten Raum in dem man diverses Basteln konnte. Für die Kleinen hatte es Bücher und Instrumente. Die Ausstellung selber ist nicht so gross,aber sehenswert und interessant. Der Hammer ist der nachgebaute Laderaum eines Segelschiffes, man fühlt sich an Bord desselbigen, hört Wellengeräusche und spürt Bewegungen. In diversen Kisten befinden sich Gegenstände aus aller Welt, Z.b eine Mumie....!!!
Wir waren gute 3 Stunden ausgezeichnet beschäftig.....!!! Sehr empfehlenswert.
