Best Kindergartens in Switzerland

Do not recommend at all! I did not see nearly any development on my american speaking 3yo son that was there for 3 months. He has been attending Globegarden now for 3 weeks and he comes back home singing and counting. Tandem has a big hype because of the location, it's true that they go to the park or lake almost everyday (spring/summer) but every time we would pick him up there was a diferent, young, assistant teacher that looked less motivated. The main teacher was a darling and dedicated, but in a class with 8-10 little kids, no one can do miracle. Their class room was astonishing small and was a walkthrough area to the other rooms, with an absurd amount of left over Lego toys that is what they seemed to be doing every day. Few books in a corner and mixed kids of 2 years apart (some are crawling and some are looking extremely bored because they are nearly 3yo. The windows are tinted because they face the tram tracks that are loud, therefore not much natural light. We signed a contract with them because they promised us the hours and days we needed, only to say that the solution would take a year, after we signed the contract (hence we lost 6k having to break a contract) Administration took close to 6 weeks to respond to our emails and several phone calls were left unresponsive. Also, when we CC'd the CEO because we were having problems with a bullish financial admnistator he did not bother to respond or try to understand our case. My opinion is that the school grew too big and they don't hire enough people and have a lot of apprenticeship helping out. -Yet still, the way you decided to treat us when we decided to leave the school was the opposite of the well written kindness you refer to us in this reply post. The school first avoided us for weeks , then disrespect us and even threatened to lawyer up right away. To someone whom have just had a continental move. I have never experienced this in the USA and I lived there for 19years. Regardless, Theo is growing a lot at Globegarden and I am happy indeed with the change. When I pick him him there, he is usually singing or reading, or doting a theater play with an instrustor or assistant (this, after the class is finish) instead of the usual being alone with the other kids at the Lego's corner, how it was at Tandem. Thankfully I belong to a lot of Expats groups in Zurich that Swiss-Re has gotten me in contact with when I arrived and have been vocally sharing my experience with a lot of parents whom are searching the best option for their little ones after arriveing from abroad. I'm happy I can help that this will not happen to the people I have gotten in contact with that have just arrived from another country and is looking for the best solution for their little ones.

Today is the last day for us and we were very glad to be part of this Kita since 6 years already. Our both child were very happy here, they are super friendly with the kids, they go out everyday, they do a lot of activities and they go in the forest every Friday when kids reached 2 years old. Again, thanks for everything, we will miss you !

We have been using Kiddieland for over 3 years with our children and have been delighted with the high levels of care and the quality of the curriculum. The team are brilliant and I would have no hesitation in recommending Kiddieland. Sadly we have left the city and the location doesn’t work for us anymore I so wish it did. We will miss the support we have had.

Kiddieland is easily the best daycare that Zürich has to offer. My son was there enrolled and absolutely enjoyed it. The head of the daycare ensures that every need of the child is met, from food to care to development. It is multilingual so new parents look no further. Your child will be safe and will absolutely love it !

Sehr positive Erfahrung, unser Sohn hat dort wirklich eine wundervolle Zeit verbracht! Die Zimmer sind sehr luxuriös und ordentlich, das Essen abwechslungsreich, das ganze Programm von Kiddieland ist auch super, sowie das Team! Sie können auch vorbeikommen, wenn Sie sich vergewissern möchten, dass mit Ihrem Kind alles in Ordnung ist! Ich bin auch dankbar für all die Fotos und Videos, die dort gemacht wurden und die meinem Kind in Erinnerung geblieben sind!

Unsere beiden Söhne sind seit ihrem 4. Lebensmonat in der Kita Tandem und wir sind sehr zufrieden. Gute Betreuung, viele Aktivitäten an der frischen Luft, ein schöner Bewegungsraum im unteren Stock, abwechslungsreiche und frisch gekochte Mahlzeiten, Bastelarbeiten u.v.m.

Wir hatten beide Kinder dort und haben nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Sehr liebe KITA Leiter, gutes Kita Konzept, keine Wertungen, toller Waldtag (immer Freitags). Sie machen jeden Tag Ausflüge.

Our son has been at Tandem Kita since he was 4.5 months old. They have been extremely supportive and caring to our needs. He has developed a strong bond with the care givers as well as other kids in his group. The set up combines 0-18 month old group with the older group. This has been helpful to learn new skills faster. We would recommend the Kita to other parents.

Ich empfehle die KiTA Tandem sehr: sie sind professionelle, zufällesig, die Kinder wären sehr liebevoll behandelt, spielerisch und listog haben sie! Mein sohn will nie heim gehen. Bio, nachhaltigkeit und ecologie wird eingehalten (natürlich und frisch zubereitees essen was für mich ebenfalls sehr wichtig ist). Die Leute sin sehr sympatisch und man sieht dass sie lieben was sie tun. TOP!

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Betreuung unserer Tochter. Liebevoll, altersgerecht und kreativ. Das 2. Kind ist schon angemeldet:-).

Our daughter spent 5.5 years in Kiddieland, first in daycare and later in Kindergarten. We are happy with everything what we got for our daughter. Our daughter is now going to primary school and she definitively doesn't want to leave Kiddieland! Very healthy food, freshly prepared. I have not seen anywhere else using an App for the communication about the daily activities and food etc. We will surely miss it! Thank you so much Adriana, Bogdan and Mandy!

We visited Kiddieland while searching for daycare for our daughter! We did not choose it at the end as we found an apartment quite far from there. However, we really liked the premises and the people who run the place-very friendly and eager to help us! The kita itself was very spacious and clean. It seemed to be very well taken care of and organised!

The Kiddieland team cares for the kids and they take very well care of every single one. I've never seen such a good structure in a daycare as in this one. The staff is well educated with a childfriendy approach and the security concept of the daycare is very solid. A big thanks to the whole team.

I highly recommend KiddieLand! The teachers are great and my daughter is very happy there! Excellent care in a very well organized environment! Plenty of space for the kids, fresh and tasty meals and they run a lot of different activities every day! Thank you KiddieLand!!!!!

KiddieLand was by far the most welcoming and clean day care among all 15 which I visited. Almost a year after my kid started, I can only recommend this place. From the teachers (who are plenty of energy and care for the kids) through the chef (whose cuisine is not only organic but also delicious, judging based on my kid’s appetite :-)) to the management, this place is totally worth it. I observe that my kid has been doing a lot of progress with them (physically and emotionally wise). They have an external garden and a huge indoor playground so kids can play at every time of the year. The information flow between teachers/management and parents is very good, through meetings and this wonderful app that they have.

Sehr gute Atmosphäre, die Kinder werden hier optimal betreut, mit vielen unterschiedlichen Aktivitäten und Projekten wird viel Originelles geboten, der Waldtag jeden Freitag mit selber Kochen im Wald ist jedesmal ein Ereignis für unser Kind. Der Waldtag wird auch monatlich für alle Kinder einmal durchgeführt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, persönlich und verbindlich. Die Kinder fühlen sich sichtlich sehr wohl hier.
