Muy buena atención desde la entrada, hasta los acomodadores.
El lugar y la sala de teatro muy buena, bien ambientada.
Las artistas de la obra que fui a ver super... Las felicito por todo. Espero volver a ir a una de las tantas obras.

Casa antigua de la candelaria,con un pequeño teatro muy cómodo
It's a beautiful theatre inside; the effort to maintain the original 1892 building while adapting it to the new technologies available is outstanding; However, the exterior is an affront to the La Candelaria neighborhood, because it stands out very badly against every building 4 blocks around. This is the oldest part of the city (built from the 16th to the beginning of the 18th century) and the designers didn't care at all about that, because they built a pile of modernist cubes on top of the original building.

Excelente la obra de teatro, la atención recibida, la facilidad para reservar y pagar... El inconveniente es el parqueadero, sería bueno un acuerdo para evitar que lo cierren antes de terminar la función.
Es un teatro increíble. Cuando lo visite había una feria de emprendedores llena de hermosas propuestas. El lugar es acogedor, hermoso y sobretodo agradable.
El sitio está bien cuidado y organizado.

La subida es pesada, muy empinado no es un sitio de fácil acceso x q no llegan buses ni nada. Es pequeño, no hay casi sillas y además están la mayoría reservadas. Buena la obra de teatro pero el sitio no fue muy agradable.
Me dejo muy asombrada el lugar, esta renovado, buena silleteria. Muy bonito, esta adecuado dentro de una casa colonial. Eso sí, prepárense para esa subida por que el lugar está en una zona bastante empinada.

The Colon Theater is the icon of the arts in the center of Bogotá, it was built in 1885 by the Italian architect Pietro Cantini and has been listed by the British BBC as one of the eight most amazing theaters in the world due to its architecture, describing it as a “Colombian beauty”.

Hace mucho tiempo no visitaba el teatro, me gustó el cambio de silletería que le hicieron. Está muy conservada la casa y de noche la iluminación ayuda a que se vea aún más bonita. Fui a ver "En este pueblo no hay ladrones", no me mató mucho la obra (demasiado lenta). Sugerencia, ojo con el aire en la noche, siento que estaba altísimo y me moría de frío.

A teatro libre siempre quieres volver, tenía años sin ir y lo encontre remodelado, los mismos espacios pero más agradables. De la última vez que fui no recuerdo que tuviera un bar, peroe encantó la idea. La obra del abogado súper chévere me hizo la noche y hasta me asustó el final. Vayan y disfruten de una noche diferente les dejo la programación de Marzo.
Wonderful old style elegant theater. However, the immediate area needs some visible security protocol after evening concerts. It gets rather spooky after most people leave.

I did not see access for wheelchairs because there are a lot of stairs.
Chairs were confortable and the place had enough ventilation and ilumination.
It did not have a cafeteria inside but outside you can find severl options. If you arrive with time you can visit the center of the city very beautiful

A beautiful theater nicely appointed. Casa Ensamble
Es prácticamente una casa antigua de la zona de la Candelaria con un amplio solar el cual se puede apreciar en la fotografía, una sala de estar y al final en lo que antes era el patio trasero, se encuenta actualmente un amplio teatro propiamente dicho recién acondicionado con sillas e iluminación. Llegar se ubica en una subida muy empinada, hace bastante frío adentro si se está de noche y no es del todo cómodo.

Excelente ambiente para el arte y la cultura, amplios patios coloniales que transportan la mente y apropiado para las muestras artísticas de toda clase, muy buena ubicación en el centro histórico de Bogota y buenas obras en cartelera. Hay que resaltar el esfuerzo que se realiza para mantener a los jóvenes interesados en actividades culturales
Wonderful iconic place. The theater is totally worth visiting. Located in front of the San Carlos Palace, is one of the most beautiful streets of La Candelaria Neighborhood.
The theater is 125 years old, and it has been recently renovated to all of its classic splendor.
It usually has a broad program of performances, you can buy tickets on line.
When visiting Bogota, this is a Must.
