Really loved this place! The room is spacious and it’s easily accessible to downtown via train. The breakfast is great ( extra charge) and the gym is amazing! Fitness is part of my daily life so it’s nice to be able to utilize a facility that is an actual public gym that’s sub attached to the hotel.
Great location if you plan to stay in Prague.
Excellent hotel with a sumptuous breakfast and clean rooms.
The bar on the 14th floor has a gorgeous view of Prague while you sip your drink and enjoy the great company.
Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Kitchen is awsome, I really enjoyed it. But. Some stuff needs to be improved, but its not a reason to not choose this hotel. It's an old hotel with its own characteristic things. 😊
We especially liked the beautiful view from the bar on the 14th floor. The biggest thanks goes to the staff member MAXIM, who has welcome us on his very first day at the hotel. His demeanour was unbelievably pleasant, was very helpful and highly professional :) thank You and cheers!
Good Lobby.
Nice staff.

Average rooms (weird connections for chargers )
Tv doesn’t allow chrome caste.
Bathroom can be better.
Driers available.
They didn’t change towels which also can be improved.

BEST BREAKFAST.

Good terrace view. Could be better. Not very good for non alcoholics.

Dinner items were limited, but quality and quantity looks just right for price.

Especially staff were really helpful, funny and energetic.

Reception was initially not so good, but the next day staff was pretty helpful.

Location wise it might not be perfect, but it is 15 mins away from all major attractions.
We arrived at 22:00, parked in the hotel parking, and entered the hotel lobby, which was beautiful but unfortunately had someone playing an uncomfortably loud concert piano in the lounge.
The room we were given initially had someone else's belongings in it. The staff at the reception desk, who seemed stressed, overworked and understaffed, helped to resolve this issue and moved us to another room, which however was not set up for 3 people as I had booked.
The reception and housekeeping staff brought additional bedding and towels, but it was a poor start to our stay.
We received cards for complementary drinks at the rooftop bar when we checked in initially but by the time we had sorted the rooming situation out the bar had already closed (23:00).
The rooms and halls were clearly outdated, and the elevators were very small. In the second room, the bathroom lighting kept flickering, and the fixtures in the bathtub were coming loose from the wall and also difficult to switch between the shower and bath settings. The windows were similarly difficult to open.
The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the room's cleanliness was lacking - one of the windowsills had a melted hard candy on it, and the room service/hotel information card was sticky and greasy to the touch.
The TV was disappointingly small (the size of a computer monitor).
The room door would not close properly (required a lot of force to close), and the bathroom door would not stay closed or lock at all.
The hotel breakfast was easily the best part of the stay, but did not make up for the rest of the disappointment.
Very romantic and quiet place, in the middle of the nature, surrounded by woods, with a great poll and spa.
This has been the best Race Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are Amazing. The manager is so helpful. I can’t wait to come back.
Nice hotel, 8 mins walk from the centre of town. The rooms are clean but there's no air con. Fairly basic but functional.
The hotel is conveniently located, easily accessible by public transport from the center, near cafes, restaurants, gas station, trains. The hotel is beautiful, not new, but it has some kind of warm atmosphere, in the evenings they play the piano in the lobby, you can drink cocktails and hot drinks, there are no children!!!! and that's fine!!!! The staff is polite, smiling, there are a lot of fresh flowers at the reception, breakfast until 11 am!!! this is also very cool, since I work late, sometimes it's hard to wake up in the morning. In the dining room, the staff is also friendly, neat and not intrusive, you are not kicked out with a piece in your mouth, just because they close breakfast at 11. The breakfast is hearty, several types of sausage, cheese, fruits, juices, bread, vegetables, I was very pleased. I lived in room 418, unfortunately the cleaning in this room was not of high quality in one day, the bathroom mirror was not wiped, there was also a dirty table, but these are all small things, compared to what terrible hotels I had to stay in. It's a little hot in the room if there is no air conditioning. If there is an opportunity, I will come here again.😊
Beautiful situation and a beautiful building, set in forested hills. The chateaubriand an old style but doesn't seem very old.

Rooms are nice, (although black out curtains would have been nice). No tea or coffee making facilities.

The Spa was too busy as they only had one member of staff working so we couldn't get a massage at all whilst we were staying.

We had to ask 3 times to get extra pillows.

So could be improved but still a lovelybplace to stay.
Great hotel. 600 m from old town, free parking, excellent breakfast. Clean and comfortable beds
A very nice hotel in a perfectly quiet location. Good offer of Spa and very friendly staff

I am giving stars for food which was nice, location brilliant, people working in the restaurant very nice but that is all I can say.

Room very noisy, this was ridiculous how we could hear people in the next door, above us and under us plus people walking in the corridors.

And room service, I have never ever experienced a room service like this one.
Very nice resort with various rooms, helpful and nice staff, rich breakfasts and fair dinners. Spa was bit overcrowded, with lack of resting places after sauna. Overall very good spot for a few days hideaway.

A magical place for a superb vacation. The hotel is a beautiful renovated castle ( i suposse), the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has many facilities, from a swimming pool, sauna... to a bar with excellent beer. A place where you can really feel like a king for a moment!
Rooms are very nice. Breakfast bar was very impressive! Location is central. Unfortunately, the wifi in the rooms is all shared on a single, open network which was really awfully slow and unreliable. It would work for 20 seconds of each minute and constantly required me to reconnect or wait for it to improve. The reception wifi was much better. Quite disappointing as otherwise this was one of the better hotels I've stayed at.
GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT Structure not managed according to the standards of a European 4-star hotel
First night (of 2) was a nightmare. We wake up around 3 o'clock due to a strange noise: a BAT was flying around the chandelier, over our heads! We run away from the room and the only intervention of the hotel staff was a terrified receptionist armed with a fly swatter who, together with my husband, tried to put away the animal. After more than an hour, MY HUSBAND, climbing on the desk, with a towel manages to capture the animal, leaving everything out of the window. Obviously, we haven't slept anymore. Could have been a misadventure, we are in the middle of a wood (!) But, considering that the temperature, we had not opened the windows, so that animal was there from a long time (!!!) in these covid times the accident SHOULD NOT happen. Furthermore none of the staff said absolutely nothing anymore. Unacceptable and NOT PROFESSIONAL. This behavior is caring of the customer? No excuses, no interest about our state of mind, no proposal to change the room, NO SPECIAL CLEANING: the next day we found the room not yet cleaned and we had to wait (only 10 min ) for it to be cleaned. DISAPPOINTMENT. Other pronlems: almost none of the staff speaks English, the restaurant closes at 7pm, the breakfast is abundant but there is very little of sweets, the bathrooms are obsolete and encrusted with limestone, last but not least ... the spa (open until 9pm) at 6pm suddenly closed all the engines, because we were left in 3, and then reopened after half an hour when a group of about ten people arrived, obviously without excuses or explanations.
The structure is nice, the place magnificent, but the staff don't have idea of customer management.
PROS:
The location is great. Situated close to a nice park area. Just need to cross the park to reach the old town. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Our room 303 was brand new. Spacious wit 2 bedrooms and a kitchen corner. Each bedroom with flat TV. Bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Nice and stylish. The breakfast was great. You can park for free. The staff at the desk was kind.

CONS:
Although there was air-condition in each bedroom, it was out of order. The receptionist does know about it, but she
haven´t told us anything in forward. She was probably waiting for our reaction. We have been given 10% rabat which is great. I was OK with the price actually, not okay wit the heat in the room however. We found towels for 2 persons only in the room, instead of 3. The pillows were not comfortable.Found lots of dust under the furniture. Looks like they don´t check the rooms properly before letting guests inside. The restaurant and wellness was closed on Sunday and public holiday.
If you are ok with Soviet customer service and their only restaurant closing at 8pm then this is your place. Keep your expectations low and dont mind the fungus in the `spa` area.

We were placed in a lower category room then the one we booked. The concierge response was shrugging his shoulders and informing us that they are full so they cannot place us in the room that we had actually booked. Unreal..

It really is a sub-par Eastern European standard hotel with sub-par Eastern European style service.

Dont go if you are looking for Wellness, good food and service.

Never again.
Castle Luzec is something quite unique! The hotel really tries to resemble a medieval castle. The rooms themselves look unique and have some very cool beds and decor! The castle is located in the middle of the woods and feels isolated from the rest of the world. The pool and spa area are solid as well. I got a 30 min massage and felt really refreshed and rejuvenated afterwards!
We were greeted warmly at the reception and given all the necessary information. Also asked for a place to eat and were recommended to a really nice restaurant. The room is big and equipped with some things i haven't seen in hotels before- for example paper tissues. The breakfast buffet is with rich and tasty selection. And you also notice how clean everything is. 10/10 recommended!
Room service "miserable" (I was even accused that my dog had "devastated" the bed! But I always cover the bed in hotels with my own blankets to protect it.)

Complaint management: "Zero"

Friendliness of the staff at the reception at departure: "not available"

The staff is simply not interested in finding out whether the guest was satisfied or whether there are any suggestions for improvement.
In addition, I speak Czech and have lived in Olomouc for more than 16 years.

Only the hotel kitchen is really recommendable.

Resume:
It was my 3rd stay at this hotel and by far the worst ever at a hotel.

This is unworthy to hotel "Flora".
What a pity!

Next stay will be 10./11.05.2022 in your hotel. We will see what happens.

I hope something has changed in the service…
