Best Hobby stores in Germany

Came to Cologne for the Euro Cup and had to pass from the shop before leaving. Nice, spacious and clean shop with super friendly staff. She explained to us the history of the shop and the building, with fun facts and very casual enjoyable chit chatting (most talkative GW staff I’ve ever met!) made my gf build the mini of the month while I was looking for any souvenir that called me, and indeed I found two gems of rare minis that came home with me.

The best Warhammer store in Berlin. Super friendly staff, organizing a lot of events, always smiling and helpful. Keep it up guys!

Auf der Suche nach Altum- Skalaren, bin ich auf Ralf Battenberg gestossen. Nach einigen Austausch von Infos, inkl. Livevideo von den Fischen, habe ich bei Ralf 10 Altum geordert. Da wir in der Schweiz wohnen, wurden die Tier per Express am Samstag bei einem Packetzusteller in Konstanz geliefert. Alles verlief reibungslos. Die Tiere sind gesund angekommen. Das Wasser im Packet hatte noch 22 °C obwohl es zur Zeit kühl ist.
Die Tiere erfüllen genau das, was vereinbart war.
Mit 14 cm angeben, sind auch Tiere in der beschriebenen Grösse geliefert worden. Das ist bei anderen Händlern leider nicht immer so.
Hier können Sie einem Profi vertrauen.
Ich denke was bei Altum Skalaren so ist , wird bei anderen Fischen (Diskus) auch so sein.
Ich bin froh, einen verlässlichen Partner gefunden zu haben. Solche Fachgeschäfte inkl Service, gibt es leider nicht mehr so häufig.

Wirklich schön eingerichtet, die Tiere sahen alle wirklich sehr gut aus und die Beratung war auch sehr hilfreich. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Great place. The owner was very friendly and supportive. We came as newbies for the hobby, but we were approached by a nice owner, guided through the store, answered our questions, and gave his recommendations. All in friendly, atmosphere. I can easily recommend this pace to anyone who is interested in joining the Warhammer hobby.

Wir haben uns mit der freundschaftlichen, ja fast schon familiären Atmosphäre, sehr wohl gefühlt und uns in aller Seelenruhe eine schöne Gruppe ausgesucht. Kaffee (oder Kaltgetränk), in Ruhe gucken, mit anderen Diskus-Liebhabern vor Ort austauschen - hier ist Verkauf kein Muss. Es geht viel mehr um richtige Entscheidungen, welche den Halter und die Tiere auf lange Zeit glücklich machen sollen - daher wird hier jeder Kunde kompetent und ohne Zeitdruck beraten.

Auf der Suche nach Naturnahen Diskus bin ich bei Ralf gelandet. Nach einem ausgiebigen, beratenden Telefonat haben wir relativ schnell die für mich passenden Diskus gefunden. Die Tiere kamen super verpackt bei mir an und machten vom ersten Moment an einen super Eindruck.

nach inzwischen 14 Tagen wollte ich mich doch mal bei Ihnen melden und Ihnen über das Geschehen bisher berichten.
Diskus wie es sich gehört in mein Becken zugesetzt, bisher 5 Diskus Besatz, die 6 Neuen hatten sofort 80 % Farbe angenommen, verzogen sich noch in die Ecken. Nach 2 Stunden pickten sie neugierig an den Pflanzen rum und schwammen schon mal auf. Nächsten Morgen erste Fütterung, man nahm
es an, wenn auch Granulat und Flockenfutter (f.d. Beifische) nicht so ganz ihr Ding war. Sie zeigten schon soweit ihre tolle Farben, auch wenn das Licht noch im Eingewöhnungsmodus. war. Nach 3 Tagen waren sie richtig angekommen,
schwimmen munter im gesamten Becken rum, Farben wunderbar, kleine gewöhnliche Neckereien mit dem Stammbesatz, der das m.M. auch mit weiteren Diskus prima
findet. Futter alles - viel - immer sofort dran. Sie merken wie begeistert ich bin, und alle die mein Becken in den letzten 2 Wochen gesehen haben auch!
Nochmals herzlichen Dank für ihren offenen und freundlichen Empfang, für die tolle Beratung und finale Zusammenstellung der 6 Diskus!! Einfach eine Freude!
Sollte ich irgendwann mal weiteren Bedarf, einen Tipp oder auch sonstige Infos i.S. Diskus benötigen wende ich mich auf jeden Fall zuerst vertrauensvoll an Sie!

We went here just to take a look, but got greeted by a very kind shopkeeper who wanted to show us a lot and even let us paint some mini’s with tips on how to give the miniature the best look. This shopkeeper nows a lot about his ware and gladly helps you!

Great store and owner. He knows a lot about the 40K universe and is happy to explain the basics to those unfamiliar to the hobby. He even let us try painting for the first time. And let us keep the painted mini's.

Super awesome shopkeeper, very nice guy. Store is nicely put together creating cool immersion into the story. had a good time.

Its just such a joy going into that store. The guy there is the nicest person I have ever encountered. Although I live in Luxembourg, I deliberately plan trips to Germany just so I can have a detour to the store and just have fun conversations and buy some smaller items.

Last time I asked about how fun Underworlds was, because I am thinking about getting it. I kid you not, the guy whipped out the game from the back and introduced me to the basics.

I will forever be a customer there.

Friendly staff, nice place

Unfortunately, I have to adjust my review, there are really nice employees in the shop and the atmosphere is usually super inviting... Unfortunately, there are some employees who prefer profit over good advice and try to get rid of older products with false statements.
Especially if you don't know much about the game or a certain faction and buy a gift for friends, it can end up as a big and expensive disappointment.
I would not adjust a review because of a single event, unfortunately this has now happened 3 times with different people from my circle of friends.

I'm in Berlin for vacation and i've found this shop. I'm new at the Warhammer franchise but i love painting and collecting model kits. The employee (don't know if he's also the owner) helped me through advising and introducing me to Warhammer. Unfortunately i don't live here but i recommend to everyone this shop either if u are a beginner like me or not.

Incredible store. The staff walks around with a beaming smile, radiating happiness and giving thorough and proper advice. I went in to buy paint, picking up the hobby from a long time ago, and left happier then I had imagined I would.
Everyone inside the store, staff and customers, are radiating happiness.
Very special experience, would definitely advice to go here!

Arrived there half an hour before closing time but everyone there was very friendly and super helpful. I am a newbie and pretty shy but the employee was patient with me and gave me lots of good advice and what I may enjoy or need for the hobby. They offer a wide range of different articles and even provide/offer guidance when it comes to painting. I felt very well taken care of and definitely want to return. I was amazed by the passion that the employees were showing and how much fun I had while listening to them and their advice. Thank you for this great experience.

Very friendly employee, really took his time to advise me

My first time in a Warhammer shop and this was a good experience. Plenty of miniatures and paints available plus they spoke English as well which is a big plus for an ignorant englishman such as me 😁 picked up a set of miniatures and paints and happily on my way home to start. Will visit again. Keep up the good work.

This is propably The best games Workshop in Berlin. Stuff is very polite and helpfull. Ah recommend this shop for every Warhammer fan.
