The service is excellent, and the staff are very friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The only drawback is that it can occasionally become too warm inside, somewhat resembling the conditions of a sauna. 😅

I booked two "comfort" double rooms with King sized bed. The corridor outside the room smelled rather unpleasant. When we opened the door to the room we were shocked to find a large white empty room, with one king-sized bed in the corner next to the window. There was no sofa / table for lounging, there was not desk, there was no chair -- not even a telephone in the room. It looked very unpleasant, like a hospital room. There were also no towels in the bathroom. We immediately cancelled. Don't waste your money on the Dormero - there are better options nearby.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and spacious. Loved the views from the room.

Sehr gemütliche irische Kneipe. An einem Samstag war es zwar sehr voll, aber sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienung war trotz voller Räumlichkeiten ziemlich schnell. Gute Live Musik.
Air and TV were not working, besides I told them 2 times if they can fix them. Room and bath were cleand and nice

It was a busy rainy night, everyone was inside everything was packed, because of the game , so the pub was packed, but we found a seat upstairs, the server was very fast to take the order and the food came out quickly and considering how busy and how crowded I have to say they did a very good job! The Mojito was very good, the chicken wings perfectly cooked, with fresh chips/fries great start to the evening 😃

Fantastic pub we visited today as we wanted to watch a particular English Premier League football game. Carol was incredibly helpful and found the soccer game for us. Great drink selection and great service. Really nice pub.

Very authentic Irish Pub in Munich. Been going since the early 2000s and have always had a very pleasant experience!
Apparently you can't order a drink here without having a seat. You can't get a seat without seemingly booking months in advance. I'd been trying to ring the pub all week to try and book a table for a rugby game, but nobody picked up. I saw lots of disappointed customers having the same problem and having to leave. Whether this is a local regulation or a pub policy, it'd be nice to know in advance. Shame really, as it looks like a nice pub, but I suppose I'll never find out...
Nice pub, personally not a fan of basement bars but it was very cosy or what the dutch call gezellig. Friendly staff.

Authentic atmosphere. The staff is very good and attentive. The service is friendly and there's also the occasional joke. A visit is definitely worth it.
We should have known when all the surrounding restaurants were full and this place had open seating on the platz. The service was average at best. The menu had Indian dishes that were not remotely Indian. The salvage were the beer and cocktails were actually pretty good. Have drinks here, enjoy the platz, and leave. Do not eat here!

Seriously, the best fish and chips I've ever had. Drinks were fantastic as well. Service could have been better, but I'd go back in a heartbeat.
As many others have mentioned, it's not a genuine Irish pub. The location is really good, and there is a TV outside to watch the football on.
The signal on the TV's would constantly go out, and you would need to chase down a member of staff to get it working again.

Far better for a pint than the other Irish pubs in Munich since it’s not overcrowded with tourists, has reasonable prices for drinks and is not located in some dungeon-like basement. No idea about the food though.
Very Nice Shepherd's pie and excellent conversation with staff. After many days of German food this is a solid spot to grab a pint and chill. Just go, Fish and chips was good as well!

The location and the interior is great and since it’s a bit hidden you don’t have your usual tourist around. The service is nice and attentive. The beer is cool and great, but for me to give five stars you need to use either fresh potatoes or a different brand of frozen fries and fresh minced meat to make your burger patties instead of frozen ones. In general, use less convenience in the kitchen, your guests will appreciate it!
We went there for a good time and Guinness. We had it. Typical irish pub. With a few People in the pub quite loud. We didn't eat so I can't say something to that.
Onur (Manager) and his team are doing a great job. The hotel is clean and well appointed.

Great atmosphere, but it is crowded, especially on weekends. The best part about this place is they have a separate area for the people who want to sit alone. All the waitresses are helpful and quick.

Stopped in Munich for the night and came here for dinner. Very nice place. I had a cheese burger with fries. I think the burger was perfection, only needing some improvements in the bun. The seats were sticky but that's just how all Irish pubs are. The fries were decent but I feel they were slightly overcooked. Went there on the same day as the Zandoorvt GP and PL games. Was packed but I don't blame them. Nice atmosphere, great staff and overall a nice place.
A three part pour with a little swirl about in the middle for good measure, dirt....... and not the good kind. 🍻
Had a decent time. The service was a bit slow but we wouldn't blame the staff as I thought they were a bit outnumbered by the guests on a Sunday football evening. The ambience for watching football is great. The fish and chips was fine and the dessert too.

It's a nice enough Irish pub. The food is a bit pricey and the Irish Stew was absolutely dismal. Basically some stock with some lumps of grey meat, carrots and potatoes in. Honestly, it was a cheek to serve it. One of the worst plates of 'food' I've been served for a long, long time. Truly shocking.
I’m not stopping myself for drink so very next place was just next to another corner. Nice small Irish pub. Plenty of seats out there so we enjoyed hot weather with table service. What I really like the interior of windows.
Came here to watch f1 and f1 we watched! They had a wide beer selection, they were a bit pricey but that is to be expected from an Irish pub. The place was clean and we had a very nice waitress who was there at our every request. Definitely recommend coming here to watch some sports or to just have a drink with your mates (or both)!
Went to their Monday karaoke night. Got pretty packed by 10 PM, but it was very quiet before that. Overall it was quite a fun night. There were people from all ages, so I would recommend it to anyone. But beware: they don't wait at all for you to get on stage before your song starts, which I thought was a little odd.They also had a few technical issues and wouldn't even start over the songs from the beginning when it happened. But overall, there was a still good ambience and good songs.
It's also a good place if you happen to be gluten free: there are some allergen notes on the menu, and for drinks, they had many apple ciders.

The service was so excellent, the restaurant was full but that was no exception for an excellent service, food was ready super fast, quantity is a lot, the prices were very fine and the quality was superb, we had a great time there on our last night here in Munich.

Had a night there with WestendComedy witch was pretty much good,the guys are funny.
Ill give 3 stars because of the service ,where beeing the only one at that time ordering both of the personal just ignore'd me walking from one side of the bar to the other side of the bar acting like they work ,but sadly was not the case .So 10 min waiting for a beer(loosing seeing the half of the second part of the show) where maybe 20 pers. where inside and only me ordering at that time. Very weak guys ,especially the old guy with the beard giving you les change from what you buy.

I've stayed here multiple times in the past, but this most recent one left me feeling like the hotel is losing its luster. I got in late and had to change rooms twice because my first two rooms didn't have working air. The staff was very helpful with getting me a new room. One of the elevators didn't work, and another one didn't have a working button for my floor.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, and there are multiple restaurants on the premises and within walking distance. All in all, it's a great location at a great price, but this stay just felt like the hotel wasn't at its peak anymore.

This is such a fun place to go on Karaoke nights (Friday). Everyone is on a great mood, really friendly staff, and an incredible vibe in general.

Amazing ambience & thoroughly enjoyed. Met a person who has family in Buenos Aires & who stay nearby to the localities I stayed back when I’s in BsAs. We tried beer, beer with lemonade & shots.
Stopped by this place to rest on a sunny afternoon. There is a nice sized patio with plenty of seating. Later I discovered the entire pub is underground! Very cool! The decor is awesome and makes you feel transported to Dublin. It's a great place to spend hours. I tried the apple pie as I had already had lunch. It was great, way better than I was expecting for a pub with the presentation being gourmet level. The menu is pub food with some German classics so it has more variety than most biergartens in the city. Highly recommended for a visit while you're in Munich.
Awesome underground bar! The theme is famous scholars/writers with quotes on the walls. There are so many nooks to drink in, around the space, even a library room. The staff are great and make everyone feel welcome. This is not a velvet rope and list spot. Come as you are and be prepared to mingle! The bar was quiet when we arrived but got rowdier as the evening went on. The bar staff will take song requests and at one point all the patrons were singing along in an impromptu karaoke session. This place is open until 4am and we shut it down on a Monday night. I can't even imagine how fun it is on a weekend...highly recommended!

Das Ein oder Andere Guinness hier getrunken und es war immer köstlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich auch wenn es am Abend voller wird. Es gibt Burger, Sandwiches und kleine Snacks... Einiges probiert und nie was auszusetzen gehabt. Wenn dann noch Live Musik gespielt wird ist der Abend perfekt:)
One of the best pubs in Munich! In a great and popular neighborhood but somewhat of a hidden gem, which means it doesn't get overcrowded. Saturdays are karaoke night and thats ALWAYS a great time!!!
Great karaoke place, with excellent vibes! We went on a Friday night and there were many people and good songs. The only downside is the wait time. It took about a 2-hour wait to get to sing on stage. But there are screens everywhere, so everyone can sing together even when not on stage.
Arrived, no information or phone in the room regarding the hotel. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. No internet working. Asked at reception regarding internet and was told they knew it wasn’t working and offered me the business code but was told it also wouldn’t work, and they were right, it didn’t work. There was a bath in the room but no bath plug…why? 2 of 3 elevators were working sometimes just one and at one point none of them were working with no way of accessing the rooms without them. Breakfast was very bad for a vegan unless you want tired fruit salad and some bread. On the grand scheme of things these are all first world worries but if money is being paid for a service and a person is in a hotel for work purposes the 19th/20th/21stCentury basics would help.

Very central pub with spacious room in the centre of Munich. There maybe be more charming pubs as the size makes it a bit commercial, nonetheless it is recommended to go there for some live band and good evening.

Cute and very lively Irish bar in the center of Munich. We only had some beers as for foodstuffs it's apparently a really good idea to reserve a table. It looked delicious though. We'll be back!

Great spot for foreigners to come. Bartenders understood and spoke English. I had this alkoholfrei beer that was delicious (picture). The setting was chill and I can see it getting packed on a busy night. I was there on a weekday past midnight so I enjoyed a table to myself. Cheers
Visited here while in Munich to watch the Formula 1 season opener. Great atmosphere and very cosy, with plenty of screens throughout the pub showing different sports. Beers were reasonably priced and service was prompt. Perfect location to watch any sports fixtures, and just a short walk from Marienplatz.
Nice place to go with friends, beautiful decoration style and good drinks. We ordered beers and nachos, and took a look in some interesting books (that were in English). It is better to go not so late or you won't fine place.

Irish Folk Pub gehört zu den besten (für mich der beste) Pubs in München. Mit seinem urigen Stil fühlt es sich sehr gemütlich an. Die Barkeeper sind immer freundlich und schnell. Das Essen ist genau das richtige für einen Pub.

Sind die Flüge nach Dublin grade mal wieder zu teuer? Dann auf ins Irish Folk Pub. Originale Irish Pub Atmosphäre, einmaliger Flair und dazu passend abgestimmte Einrichtung. Vielfältige Auswahl an Getränken. Preise - wie für irisches Bier üblich - gehoben, aber nicht abgehoben trotz Lage im teuren Viertel. Mein Tipp: Ein, vom sehr freundlichen Wirt, frisch gezapftes Hop House 13 am Tresen genießen. Montag & Dienstag geschlossen. Mülltrennung auf der Herrentoilette beachten.

Cool, laid back place with great service and vast variety of beers. Very friendly with non-German speaking guests, the waitress was very patient and very cooperative. The kitchen closes early so if you want to try the food also you better go there a little bit earlier. All in all great experience, definitely visiting again!

Got into a fight with the staff after trying to order a cheese sandwich from their food menu, as they supposedly don't serve food or even snacks. Their website clearly indicates that they serve food and a respective menu was even handed out. Never have I received such a rude response to asking for a serving. Do not recommend, unless you only want to drink some beer in a toxic environment.
Awesome atmosphere!. There is a quiet room where you can sit if you have a kid. They gave coloring activity books for children and also had a kids menu ! So awesome. The food was delicious! Loved it and would go again !

The pub has a couple of smaller rooms, you can get tables that are quite private, but also can sit at the big hall and enjoy some football matches. Fresh Guinnes - always delicious. Way to go!

Wenn man in Oldenburg ist sollte man hier unbedingt vorbei schauen, es lohnt sich immer. Allerdings sollte man sich rechtzeitig auf dem Weg machen, weil es auch sehr voll werden kann. In den meisten Fällen kann man auch Livemusik genießen

I think there's no better place to be in Germany on a Thursday night, seeing as yo the usual suspects of the perfect pint of Guinness and some delicious Irish pub food we're being treated to the Irish folk music session. If there ever was a small part of Ireland in Germany - it's here in Hannover.
The only draw that the Piano Bar has is the Karaoke Night, given that there are better bars in the vicinity. Given this, it's uncomprehensible that they treat a large group of paying customers, which had reserved a table and paid for drinks and food, so poorly.
From complete dismisal of karaoke orders, to putting people in front of the queue and even disrespect when it was someone from that group singing, in particular disrespect coming from the owner of the bar.
I guess large, rowdy groups are only acceptable if they're german. Had similar experiences before in this same bar and I would not recommend it for large group of foreign tourists/students/workpeople looking for a fun karaoke night out.

We went for the karaoke night for a birthday. They put the music down and don't include all the songs you ask for. The pizza is ok, but they don't really put alcohol in the cocktail so you have to stick to beer. I was a dissapointed.

Delightful place, very intimate and welcoming. It's an Irish pub but unlike pubs in Ireland this one has very cozy and warm atmosphere - it feels like being invited to a friend's living room. It's a small place but fits plenty of good people.

Don't be deterred by the rather shady exterior. This is exactly the kind of authentic Irish pub you dream about having down the block. (Seriously, it's like opening a portal to the Emerald Isle.) The bartenders are gentleman, the Guinness is on point, the whiskey selection is stellar, and the small menu will keep you fueled for another round. Tip: The place is cozy but you can reserve the larger tables in advance for groups.
Live music on Tuesdays. Great service. Place is a little cozy but there's a small upstairs area that a bit removed from loud music and conversations downstairs.
The live music was some university students. They played well, and the bar was lively that night.
