Sehr interessante Ausstellung.

I took part in the intensive figure sculpting workshop and it was one of the best courses I ever had the pleasure to attend to. Alexandra is a incredible teacher with a deep understanding of her craft. Besides the sculpting we also visited the Bode-Museum and a foundry together, which rounded of the entire experience. I will definitely come back again and can everybody who has a interest in traditional sculpting recommend her courses!

I always return to this place with a smile on my face :) This is where my adventure with ceramics actually began. I wholeheartedly recommend workshops in this place. It doesn't matter whether you want to connect your life with ceramics or not. It's worth a try ;)

I had my first ceramic lesson there with a great teacher, Ilaria, we worked on 1 ceramic technique and I loved it , I was able to make 2 objects. The owner is super friendly and the other members are also very nice, they share the space without drama. I'm so looking forward to go back and do my second lesson.

We had a private ceramics class for two here. Such a lovely studio and a great beginner session, wonderful location. Highly recommend!

We had our company event for 17 people. It was the best decision ever! We got a master class in pottery and then the instructor taught us how to start molding and the pinching technique to end up with some bowls or cute plates. We used some tools to give shapes, trim, decorate and sign our creations. It was also a stress relief activity!

Ambitionierte und gut geführte Galerie mit dem Fokus aus Künstler:innen mit Bezug zu Dresden, Leipzig und Halle. Hervorragende Grafikauswahl. Lohnt sich immer wieder mal vorbeizuschauen.

This place is great and the owners are lovely to work with. I bought take home clay, which I've been slowing using to hand build items at home. Each time I take a new batch in and pick some up, it's a pleasant experience.

Ganz ordentliche Ausstellungen , selbst diverse Kunst dort präsentiert. Immer wieder gerne dort und sehr freundliche Besatzung die ihr Bestes gibt. Leider etwas zuviel Klüngel aber geht wohl nicht anders.
Für mich allerdings einer der bedeutendsten Ausstellungshallen in Köln. Weiter so...

An absolute dream!
After taking the four-weeks beginner course with Tiziana and enjoying it a ton, I decided to try out the newly available drop-in sessions for a month shortly after.
The classes are comfortably sized (up to 5 students) and I got a very in-depth yet beginner-friendly insight into ceramics. Tiziana was patient, flexible and genuinely interested in and curious about my questions and my work.
The atmosphere in the studio was energetic and inspiring, the other members were always helpful and supporting. You really got a feeling of community, which felt amazing.
The course is an absolute must if you ever thought about trying ceramics and also if you're experienced, this studio is wonderful!

Love this studio, love the community. First came for a workshop and ended up staying as a member. Flexible and accommodating member policies especially given the competition in Berlin for ceramics studios

Alexandra is an incredibly talented artist and educator. Her courses offer in depth understanding of how to model a figurative sculpture from its basic principles, and the techniques to which one works with clay. Additionally she includes shorter lectures on anatomy and historical context. I have gained invaluable experience from the guidance of Alexandra, and I highly recommend her courses for anyone even remotely intruiged by figurative sculpting.

I always wanted to learn sculpting, so I took the torso sculpting class as a complete beginner, it was super fun and informative 🫡.

Sasha is a very special, warm and extremely inspiring person who is passionate about her art and contagious in her work. You feel very comfortable in the studio and her way to teach is unique in Berlin.

I signed up with Berlin Sculpture Atelier with my husband in the beginning of the year for an evening torso class and was very happy with it. We were total beginners but Alexandra helped us based on our level and there were other students with different levels. This really helped us to not only enjoy the class but also to be motivated to sign up for the next classes.

Alexandra is truly exceptional. Her passion for sculpting is contagious, and she has a talent for breaking down complex techniques into manageable steps that even beginners can understand.
In my experience, Alexandra is always patient, encouraging, and willing to offer feedback and guidance to help her students achieve their goals. She has an incredible eye for detail and a deep understanding of the human form, which makes her the best teacher for anyone who wants to create lifelike sculptures.

As someone who has taken part in the intensive full figure workshop and the torso workshop, I can confidently say that both classes were absolutely amazing.
During the intensive full figure workshop, I was impressed by how much I learned in just a short amount of time. Alexandra's teaching style was clear and concise, and she was always on hand to offer helpful tips and advice as I worked. Similarly, the 10 weeks torso workshop was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The end result was a stunning torso sculpture that I am still proud of to this day.

Overall, I can't recommend Berlin Sculpture Atelier highly enough. If you're looking for a place to learn, create, and be inspired, this is the place for you. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sculptor, I have no doubt that you'll benefit from Alexandra's expertise and guidance. She is truly an amazing teacher, and one of the many reasons why the Berlin Sculpture Atelier is such a special place to learn and create.

Ich liebe den Schmuck, diese filigrane Arbeit ist erstaunlich in meinen Augen und beinahe alle Farbwünsche setzt sie um, problemlos und mit Leidenschaft arbeitet sie diese gerne in ihre Stücke ein. Ausnahmslos JEDER der den Schmuck in meinem Umfeld sieht, findet die Gestaltung wunderbar; jedes Stück ein echter Hingucker 🤩😍 und hier und da ist das auch n small-talk-opener 😅❤️

Der Schmuck ist wunderschön, mit so viel Liebe zum Detail, sodass man direkt merkt, dass Jana diese Arbeit mit viel Freude und Hingabe ausführt. Außerdem habe ich meine Bestellung schnell und umkompliziert erhalten und bin total glücklich nun ein wunderbares Geschenk für meine Schwester zu Weihnachten zu haben, über das sie sich sicher freuen wird! :)

A holistic experience unique in Berlin. The perfect place to be inspired and learn the craftsmanship of figurative sculpture while being immersed into the creative process of fine arts. The artist dedication to teach the artistic approach and care for the students work has no equivalent in the field. Indeed not only a place but a whole experience to recommend.

This place is all what you are looking for to start learning how to throw. Tiz was absolutely the best teacher. Before coming there I was not super enthusiastic after taking another beginner level throwing workshop that I barely learnt anything during.

So I kept my expectations low, or nearly dropped out but I am happy that I didn’t give up and I took this workshop with Tiz.

I absolutely recommend this place.

Best pottery class in town! Tiziana is a great teacher and super talented artist. I highly recommend the 6 weeks course if you are a beginner. The small class size and friendly atmosphere makes it a very fun and safe space to unleash your creativity! And you'll get to keep your creations at the end of it :)

BAI was incredibly helpful in introducing me to the Berlin art scene. I'm in my late 30's, shifting my performance career to focus more on visual art, and have 2 young kids at home. As a new immigrant to Germany, my 3 months at BAI gave me instant community, access to mentorship and guidance, and insider knowledge on galleries, project spaces and other art institutions. Even outside the structured lectures and studio visits, I received regular emails from Stephanie and Ralf with additional exhibit recommendations. There is a lot of space and time to chart your own experience, and I appreciated the many uninterrupted days of studio work time.

It is 6 out of 5 stars. BEAUTIFUL, very well done and high quality creations of Elizaveta - this is one aspect. The other one is the overall experience I had - attention, support, consistent and reliable communication regarding the parcel delivery. Sending huge virtual hug - I am extremely happy with my purchase and two amazing extras I found in the package <3 Now I have my drinks not because I am thirsty but because I want to use the cups :)

Amazing place, program and people! I totally recommend it .... best way to learn about art and grow as an artist.

The working spaces are large and the interaction with other participants is what makes this residency so valuable. I will definitely be back!

BAI program is absolutely the best. Do work, get amazing crits, take time for serious discourse, have encounters and lectures/seminar’s with experienced and fascinating people from the art world. THe studios are great, the concept of the program works, and above all, the leaders (Steffi & Ralf) Know the entire artworld and continue to bring their personal energy as well as their endless connections to the art world into the program. I was there on and off for nearly a year. Hope to attend again. I’m not alone in my praise — this concept works.

I had the luck to work with Elizaveta this winter during an Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program. I've been her assistant and her trainee at the same time. I have to admit that it was a life time experience!!!! Elizaveta is more a creature than a human being. In a spiritual way, she can be the air, the fire and the ground at the same time. She is the air when she smoothly moves around, she is the fire when she sings (she has an incredible voice and a great taste in music), she is the ground when she works or teaches. She takes care of the atmosphere inside the room and she has always a hiden chocolate in her bag for the dull days. Elizaveta has also something that I really admire in a person. She is very loyal in her art. First of all, she respects the elements of the Earth and the origin of the raw materials. Secondly, she owns a deep knowledge about the art of the ceramics, the history, the techniques. Finally she has a unique ability to transfer this knowledge to her students like a fairy tale. She respects the clay, the person that holds the clay and the time that this person needs to connect with the clay. Every workshop was such a pleausure!!! I learned a lot working next to her. I actually managed to make some really cool pots withing a few days!!! Using both handcrafted technique and the wheel. That was really fast for a beginner! As I said...I really feel lucky meeting Elizaveta.There is some magic inside that russian girl!!! Really there is.

100% the perfect art place, it’s a great environment so you can see and interact with another artists from different background and the most important thing the BAI team is very very helpful. I highly recommend it as I will repeat it again.

Die sehr gut besuchte Vernissage des Künstlers Johannes Heisig hat sich wieder einmal gelohnt.

I've just finished my one month stay at Bai, and I'm really satisfied with how the school works. The experience was rich and well articulated, I had the possibility to listen and interact with experienced artists, curators and gallerists. The directors of Bai, Stephanie and Ralph, are just amazing, they put a lot of attention on everybody's needs and they give suggestions to help you grow as an artist. I totally recommend this school where you can have dialogues with interesting people and time for experimentation. The school also gives you the tools to understand and learn more about Berlin's art scene.

Good art

So most likely this area was going to be a five star. Unfortunately the review did not have any hours listed on it. The reason why there’s no hours listed on it is because I believe the changes per event.

So the time that we went, there was an event but not for the hours that we drop by. I would suggest checking their website to see what events happening and what hours those things are.

Also it is not labeled as the bunker museum. I think that could also change, like photo museum.

Leuke expositie in een unieke locatie. Als je niet van kunst houdt is de locatie alleen al de moeite waard... De sfeer van een oude atoombunker blijft uniek

A pleasant art gallery, with an excellent selection of graphic prints for sale, and frequently rotating, well-curated thematic displays--well worth an in-person visit. Staff and owner are always pleasant, competent and exceptionally professional. Always a pleasure to do business with, both in-person and online.

Update, October 2019: again, a very pleasant and accommodating visit. Stock focuses on works of Dresden modernists, german expressionism, and 20th century central european modernism; they have an extensive range of drawings, paintings, etchings, woodblock prints and lithos.

The focus on constructive and critical discourse, while still providing a studio space for individual practice, makes the BAI a unique and rare residency program. For me, it was the perfect mix between theory and practice. Moreover, the multidisciplinary model of the program organically facilitated intense open dialogues, small and large group discussions, experimentations, and collaborations (and late-night drinking sessions). On a more personal note, Ralf and Stephanie are personally invested in every participate. They generously put endless time into supporting, inspiring, mentoring, talking, laughing, and sharing with everyone involved. Oh, and the pasta salads are delectable! Thanks for hosting me!

Nice little open air cinema events and concerts, good place to mingle and enjoy a summer evening.

Nice and unique place in Berlin, but balloon inside the building used as podium it was very bad idea during spring and summer.

Als event location für Veranstaltungen, Essen, Film schauen, Diskussionen ganz super.
Als party location eher schlecht. Im coworking space kommt schlecht feierlaune auf. Stickig und schlechter Sound. Generell kahl. Dafür höchstens 3 Sterne. Im Mittel dann vier.

Tolle räumlichkeiten für vorträge und vieles mehr mit schönem außenbereich direkt an der alten brauerei. PLUS garten im herzen berlins! Und es wächst alles noch weiter..;)

Very stylish location. Cold industrial atmosphere - what else would you expect from a concrete dugout. Perfect for certain art or music events.

Eine vom Inhaber mit Sachkenntnis und Leidenschaft geführte Galerie , mit interessanter Vielfalt aus vielen Epochen der Kunst . Besonders gefallen mir die Skulpturen in der Ausstellung.

Interesting place. We went to see a movie here, of course the sound wasn't great, the screen was small but the vibe and the ambiance made up for it. Curious about other events.... Will go back.
