Easy explanation, enjoyable walk up and down the different rooms/floors. Nice architectural interior design. Even a section with antique books.
War dort um die Ausstellung "Maschinenraum der Götter" zu besuchen.
Die App zu dieser Ausstellung ist großartig (Kopfhörer nicht vergessen).
Manche Exponate sind in die bestehende Skulpturensammlung integriert. Das fans ich sehr schön.

Alle Exponate passen hervorragend zusammen und ergänzem sich hervorragend zu einem schlüssigen Geaamteindruck.
Das Haus ansicj ist auch fantastisch umd man darf den Garten auf keinen fall verpassen wenn man schon einmal vor Ort ist.
Ich würde es eher vor dem Städel besuchen solange man noch voll aufnahmefähig ist.

You find paintings from the 15th to the 21st century. And the artists are very different too. Some of them are really famous.

Beautiful museum. The ivory sculptures are mesmerizing, and need lots of time to enjoy. Worth it to spend the whole day. Family tickets are available at a discounted price (18€).
The museum has some great exhibits on early automation. Very informative and helpful videos on ancient time keeping and astronomy.
A magnificent exhibition featuring works from both the 19th century and contemporary authors who lived in Leipzig
Wonderful Art Gallery, definitely colossal! Three floors of art from different european art epochs up to xx-xxi century, plus a bonus level in the basement floor describing more of the Leipzig and east Germany newest history and role of different people and their lives in it.

Schönes weitläufiges Museum... Super Interessante Ausstellung Maschinenraum der Götter... Das Special Secret Garden ist 100 prozentig ein Besuch wert !!!
TIP: Die Karten für Secret Garden auf jeden Fall vorher besorgen da sehr sehr großer Andrang !!!!!

Absolutely lovely cafe and very interesting museum. Not sure how they make such a great ice latte but it's amazing. Great staff too!
Zum Secret Garden dort gewesen, Hammer Veranstaltung im Freien (Garten). Führungen für innen gibt es auch, cool im 15 Min Takt.

This new installation Mall of Anonymous is quite the scam unfortunately. I normally enjoy contemporary art, but 6€ for this is scandalous. Access to two rooms only.
Great collection of Max Beckmann. Great collection of local artists, especially during GDR era.
Ein tolles Museum. Sehr schöne Ausstellung die mindestens einen Besuch wert ist. Wir hatten das Glück ein so tolles Event erleben zu dürfen . Tolle Musik,sehr leckeres Essen. Einfach spitze.

Doesn’t fall into comparison with Borghese gallery with its sculptures, 1 hour here will be enough, but still we enjoyed it a lot.

With very friendly staff, they will teach you a lot about what and how people constructed beautiful works of art from different materials.
In the beautiful courtyard there is a cafe where you can enjoy cold drinks in an interesting environment.
The entrance fee is 12 euros.

Spare your money and do not visit this place.

A very nice experience visiting this huge museum. It take me 2.5 hours to see everything they offerd . The prices are very low and we'll deserve it. I recommend to everyone to take a look
Die Ausstellung "Human Is" könnte großartig sein, wenn man einfacheren Zugang zum Kontext bekommen könnte. Keine Nummern an den Ausstellungsobjekten, sehr unübersichtlicher und teils falscher Übersichtsplan, nervige pdf-Dateien, die man herunterladen muss, um dann in mühsamer Kleinarbeit (und bei schwachem Licht...) die Namen der Künstler:innen über die Zuordnung der unnumerierten Ausstellungsobjekte mit einer Nummer auf dem Papierplan mit dem Namen der Künstler:innen im pdf-Dokument zusammenzubringen. Vielen anderen Besucher:innen erging es genauso...
Beautiful place, super interesting to spend a day there with family or friends. Everyone can find something interesting, either it's architecture, nature or art.
It’s huge territory where you can spend couple of hours easily. We were in January and this was also super lovely. You can go from one object to another and enjoy the great nature around. It is not easy to reach by public, but still possible.
Very impressive, wide selection of art pieces going back hundreds of years to some that were made this year. Also I thought the building itself was very cool, big tall ceilings and massive rooms, with nice colors. We went at 4pm and I thought it would be relatively busy, but surprisingly felt very relaxed. Great experience!

A wonderful experience. The park is very well designed and as you wander around you come across pavilions with art. Worth going back in May when the rododendrons are flowering
Great museum. Every view line is spectacular. The simple and basic food, water, thee and coffee in the cafetaria is free.

Not all buildings are open, may 2022, but amazing flowers!
Amazing collection. Loved the experimental colour project. Helped to visualise how some of our ancestors may have looked. Too much Christianity or Christian iconography. Even if we went this is Germany centric, what about Jews? Or the Pagan.....

Es war halt mal etwas richtig tolles anderes und Liebhaber von Sriencefiction und Aliens kommen voll auf ihre Kosten. Die Ausstellung wurde noch einmal bis zum 20. März verlängert!

Gestern zur Giger & Bellmer Ausstellung dort gewesen. Wer Bellmer nicht kennt und von Giger nur die "Alien"-Entwürfe weiß, wird vom weiten Repertoire der Künstler überrascht sein. So erstaunten uns u.a. sexualisierte zeichnerische Darstellungen. Alles verpackt auf zwei Etagen im kleinen Pavillon, mit Ostunderground-Ausstellungscharme. 6 € Eintritt, ca 30 Exponate und wenn man viel Zeit hat kann man sich "Alien I" in einem der Nebenzimmer anschauen.
Nice collection of art, especially the ivory one. Would recommend if you are really passionate or if you get the Museums Ufer ticket which basically includes almost all the museums in Frankfurt.
Eine recht eine Galerie, aber wirklich schöne Alien Ausstellungsstücke. Der Eintritt beträgt 6€ und die Ausstellung geht über zwei Etagen. Die Toiletten sind sauber und auch vor dem Ticketkauf nutzbar.
Exhibition was closed due to Covid19 regulations, but the landscape was so beautiful and it was peaceful and refreshing to walk around
Unfassbar gute Ausstellung, Kuratierung und Location. Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer. Freu mich auf die nächste Ausstellung.
Von beeindruckend und schön bis zu "Wollte der Künstler uns überhaupt was sagen?" ist hier alles dabei. Aber das schöne ist, dass es Menschen gibt, die von anderen Sachen begeistert sind als ich. Und genau das macht Kunst ja auch aus, dass der Zugang zu den Werken immer etwas individuelles bleibt.
Overpriced small park with random art pieces, where at the end you get to eat a free potato with sourcream and bread. All this for €20 per person.
A nice museum and a great exhibition! If you are interested in old sculptures, you should come for a visit. Right know they have a exhibition about Medea and the hunt of the golden fleece. Pretty interesting to go threw the historical facts and story's.

Eine der wichtigsten Sammlungen von Skulptur in Deutschland. Ausgehend von der Antike bis in die Moderne. Immer einen Besuch wert.
Wenn man an Skulpturen-Kunst interessiert ist, sollte man da definitiv hin. Auch von außen ein beeindruckendes Gebäude.
