When I visited much of this museum was closed off (I think in transition between exhibitions), however the three elements I was able to see left me happy to have been. These were a lovely cloister and stairway, a (I think) permanent collection of ceramics, and a temporary exhibition of beautiful paintings by a chap called Juan Berenguel. I also managed to visit on one of the free days. Lovely.

We came to see the museum and El Greco's pictures in
particular. To our surprise and disappointment we did not find anything, but a nice exhibition of a modern Spanish artist. He is really good, but we wanted to see absolutely different art. The staff couldn't help when asked where the masterpieces were. One can miss it.

I didn’t pay much attention to the exhibition but I was impressed by the infrastructure, incredible building.

There are so many places to go in Toledo that you might miss it. However, if you go, you won't regret it. Best of all, there are relatively few people here. Tickets are free until December 31, 2024.

A "must see" when visiting Valladolid
A very good visual introduction to the Knights Templar and a perfect location: Toledo is steeped in history and heritage. Well worth a visit and lots of shops for some good retail therapy.

Such a quaint and beautiful setting as well as home. It is always heartening to be in space, one so talented lived and worked.
We went to Valencia Templarios expo with my partner. You pay 9,50€ each and there are only panels with lots of texts and a dozens of dolls dressed up as templars. Everything is aging poorly and the information needs a bit of refreshing.

Interesting museum text mostly in Spanish but a lot to examine in the different departments. There is also an aquarium on the ground floor which is well worth a visit. Note the museum had super visiting times than the acquarium.
Well worth a visit. Three floors of exhibitions: contemporary art, 19th century local art and humorous dioramas of Malaga history. And it's free!

Great museum with temporary exhibitions of modern art as well as a beautiful permanent collection of XIX century art. It also has an interesting collection of historic scenes related to Málaga made of play dough. Free entry.

Excellent museum in central Toledo. Fascinating collection of art and artifacts from Toledo's history. Well laid out and explained in Spanish and English. Lovely central courtyard in historic building. Free to enter as well!
Very rude receptionist who wouldn't let us enter on prepaid tickets until she finished am extended phonecall about very exciting gossip. After several minutes she paused the call to insult us for our lack of patience. After we tried to enter without her permission as she was still gossiping on the phone, she paused long enough to shout that she was calling the police so we left. We were unable to get a refund on the tickets from the original office.

Obviously, not recommended.
Una sorpresa muy agradable! Ha sido muy entretenido!
Totally underwhelming. We did not enjoy.

Free museum. It’s essentially all Catholic paintings and figures in the main hall. I preferred seeing the garden, which had four or five pillar remnants with Quranic verses, and the exhibits upstairs, which included a ceramics section. Please note that if you have a bag, you need to carry it in the front of your body. Alternatively, you can pay 1 euro to rent a locker.
Nice museum and not busy even if it's free. You will paintings, modern art design, anime, etc.
Nice free museum to enjoy some nice paintings and plastics-funny scenes, almost dioramas about Malaga's history
Wonderful exhibition of woman artists on the upper floors and a photography project on the ground floor. Free entry.

So, the museum is actually closed but the exhibition on the ground floor is open (and free).
It’s an exhibition about transgender people, trans art and trans artists. I didn’t expect it and I’m so grateful we stumbled open it because it was so heartwarming and marvellous. Thank you for this space!
Visiting the Santa Cruz Museum in Toledo, Spain, was an enlightening journey through the rich tapestry of history and culture. From the meticulously preserved artifacts to the splendid architecture of the museum itself, every moment spent here whisked me away to Spain's illustrious past. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, providing insightful glimpses into various epochs, making it an educational and captivating visit.

The staff deserves special mention for their friendliness and expertise, eagerly sharing their knowledge, further enriching my experience. The ambiance is serene, allowing for a peaceful exploration through the well-laid-out galleries.
This place was amazing. We were greeted at the front desk by the sweetest member of staff. She was excellent. So kind and friendly to my children and provided us with all the information we would need, her name was Lola! Excellent. Even the staff upstairs minding the gallery were nice and helpful, definitely made a big difference to our visit. I love the plasticine models which display historic information of the City! Such a good idea! The paintings were so nice and I couldn’t believe it was all free. Don’t pass the chance to see this place if you like art!
Very entertaining and curious museum with the history of the Templars. Wonderful to see and let you know how it happened, how it evolved and everything they did.
Popped in here just to kill time and enjoyed it. Quite small, can be done in about 15-20 mins.
Couldn't visit the museum. They were temporarily closed but didn't update their Google maps.
you don't need tickets, and fewer people, not very big,but you can see many things, I spent longer time because I needed Google translate.

Wonderful place! Well worth a visit. Big selection of cars from all eras. Something for everyone.
Luckily, at Sundays it is free entrance, but it is not worth paying.
A small house, and all the titles are in Spanish and no other languages. It is very boring.

Wonderful centre of biosphere nature conservation in Urdaibai. It is offering an excellent way of presenting the matter for a easy understanding.
Highly recommended!!

Beautiful green space and museum, was there for a workshop but still was able to see the exhibits and walk the grounds. Very nice mix of an old fort and modern museum, the exhibits focus on local biodiversity and the forests and nearby ocean. A lookout with telescopes at the top offers amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Great collection & exhibit! What a welcoming place for tourists, the community and world. Experiencing the building's architecture is worth a visit alone. The admission was free! How fortunate we are to have not only these works to enjoy, but that they're incorporated into the preservation of historic architecture. It's so accessible and easily located.

Cool museum with free entry. Three floors and access to a small contemporary museum on site too. Loads of local art.

Enjoyed my visit there. Very few other people so it was easy to just slowly enjoy the Museum
Very interesting museum with even Picasso artwork which I didn't know. At the moment, december 2022, there is an exhibition about female art. Liked zhe outstanding architecture and the friendliness of the staff.
Nice place, but not much space if you have more than 20 people. Also bbq place is really bad.
Great place for any special event. They have large Rolls Royce collection that is impressive.

This humble house of the 17th century provides an evocative example of the typical house during the times of Cervantes. Here, in this lovely location, the author of Don Quixote lived some of the most turbulent final years of his life. Many of the objects on display belonged to the author himself. An obligatory visit for any of this most universal Spanish writer’s many admirers.
Nothing is in English. The rest of the museums all have English translations. Not much to see here anyways, though the location is cool.

Amazing collection of old cars
Wonderful experience

A nice and informative centre with spectacular views from the top of the tower. The labyrinth however, needs some attention. For a center about protecting the environment, there was a surprising amount of litter in the maze and the hedges need pruning as brambles made some paths impassable.

Beautiful views over the estuary country side viewing with telephone from upper floor restaurant and cafe outside seating great walks children's play area
Gives a lot of information about Cervantes, very well preserved, nice experience, the furniture and tools brings you to the 16 century, worth pay a visit only 3 euros.
If you’re looking for an art exhibition, I wouldn’t bother with this art centre. The exhibition is tiny and not worth the detour. It’s probably a good place to buy art books in Spanish though.
Nice bookstore
Amazing experience! The collection of Rolls Royce is breathtaking and the atmosphere there is just amazing. Everyone wants to experience being there. It’s a unique place. Unique people. Being there is like being in a movie, you cannot believe it’s real but it is. One of the best experiences of my life.
Cool too bad mostly no photos allowed but they have books in the gift shop full of photos

Very good collection of cars, much more than I expected. It’s a museum so you cannot touch or enter the cars sadly. Huge collection of vintage Rolls Royce. Amenities include a simple bar at the premises.
Kleines, nettes Aquarium.
Small, but quite ineteresting museum.

It's pay what you think (3euros recommended which is well worth it) and features some amazing artists of various late 20th century fashion paintings/ designs and at the minute there is a what I would describe as geometric art on the first floor.
This is a museum to read more than to see stuff and get entertained. One hour will be more than enough to read and see everything they have. The few thing they have to show are cool, but the whole place it is not as amazing as I thought it would be. However, I am happy that now I know more about the templar order, from a place where they used to be once upon the time.

Really great exhibitions on biodiversity, around half of which are available in English. For the ones that aren't in English, the pictures are terrific, and the views from the top of the tower are amazing. They even provide telescopes for bird watching. Loved it! Nice bar area too.

Very nice carriage collection, gentle stuff and nice modern building.
With Lisboa card entrance is free.
Real story well presented.

Cervantes and his family moved to Valladolid in 1604 and they settled for one year on the first floor of this modest house. On the ground floor there was a tavern now it is a library.

Great staff, well prepared and very friendly.
Admission is free for everyone on Saturdays from 2.00 p.m onwards and all day Sunday.
So like I didn't visit the museum itself, but they give talks here every once in a while and they're pretty solid.
Beatiful place and the surrounding scenary will offer you grand sigths and walking routes.

Not so much a museum as it is a book store. Which by itself is amazing. It is the largest selection of design books I've seen in one place. Very interesting stuff from all over the world with beautiful design. The building is also fantastic. The metal panel facade is striking and the underlit floor modules are really cool looking at night. They gate off the courtyard when it gets dark though. The museum is not exceptionally inspiring, but you should still go up to the second level to walk through the connector.
