Gorgeous landscape on different points of the city, that's the main USP of this place. I'm sure it is worth it for plant lovers too. Why not 5 stars? The coffee place within the Palmetum is definitely overpriced. Other than that, it's a recommended place to spend a sunny morning or a sunny afternoon.

Another fabulous garden in Puerto de la Cruz, offering shade from the heat of the day, they have some fabulous specimens and varieties of flower and fauna throughout the gardens, with some very well established trees o the site that are just jaw dropping, with some varieties producing aerial roots that have supplanted themselves into the soil below.

Sehenswerter botanischer Garten mit Pflanzen, bzw. Palmen aus der ganzen Welt. Sehr gepflegter Park. Top Anlage !
Beautiful and interesting place with lots of different plantos and trees from all over the world. It's well-kept, with nice paths to walk on. If you like nature, it's a great place to visit!

Sehr gepflegter Palmenpark.

Absolutely a must see place. It’s a secret garden. A whole different, another and magical world. The plants are stunning. You don’t get to see them in my country. It’s a very private place (well, there were some people but I didn’t notice them at all)

Here’s a gem in the train station you didn’t know you were looking for. The hidden garden (or forest) is well maintained. Lots of trees and paths to get lost in, plus it’s far enough away from the train station that not many people hard discovered it yet. Make sure you go up three flights of escalators to snap a good picture of at the top.

Reiche Blütenpracht an jeder Ecke. Ich mag es. Wir werden nochmal dorthin gehen.

Nice place to visit. In January there wasn't too many interesting things to do, but I bet once the spring comes, everything will be wonderful. The place is very well cared, it was very clean.. The glass houses are nice, but a too small.
Also, one downside is that the traffic from the near road makes a lot of noise, so it's not that relaxing in the garden
2024 january - currently under renovation.
This part of the train station is full with dust. The ticket office is also located very hidden, you can barely find it.
As turists we couldn't buy tickets on the machine and had to run errands to find the ticket office that sells tickets to Toledo.

Great garden with lots of different trees and plants. You can view plant blooms and fruits of so many plants! Also so many beautiful tropical leaves. There's enough to walk for an hour or two.
It was decorated for Christmas though, and the blue lights were quite distracting me from the nature vibe.

Lovely and peaceful garden to roam around if you have time, but if you're time limited, Retiro or the National Museum should be your priority. I especially loved the bonsai trees! Unfortunately it's quite close to the main road nearby.

I thought this garden was going to be small when I looked on Maps, but I was wrong, it's deceptively big and plenty to look at! Great glasshouses too, such a wide variety of plants to see even when flowering plants (like the rose gardens) are out of season. You could easily spend a few hours here exploring. Excellent value for €4.

An excellent way to enjoy your afternoon! The relaxing atmosphere and the lush environment made it a little oasis. Take your time to enjoy every little corner because it is well worth it!
Beautiful, peaceful and quiet place. There is am excellent variety of plants and beautiful gardens. Is not to bad to just walk to reach the garden.
Beautiful place to vist. Lots of beautiful flowers and different types of trees. If you three hours you could make the most out of it. On Tuesdays between 11am to 1pm the entrance is free. 🥰
One of the most beautiful places in Barcelona. The botanical garden is very well taken care of and presents a large variety of plants from around the world. The view is fantastic and you can see the entire city from it. It is split into multiple areas based on the origin of the plants, and there's a bonsai exhibition at the top. There was no entree fee when we went there, and even if there was, I would highly recommend it. A must if you're visiting Montjuïc.

Absolutely worth the 4 euro. This garden is quite big and has versatile plants that are local to Madrid and other parts of Spain. The garden was really, really beautiful and was planned out so you can weave through the whole thing, and get a little lost in the greenery. I recommend going just a few hrs before sunset so you get shade and also get to see the light peaking through the greenery.

It’s really beautiful, I highly recommend this very eco-friendly activity for everyone!

In itself, Sitio Litre is a nice little garden, with a pond, orchids and other flowers, and a little cafe. Apart from the bird cage with some parrots inside, it's not at all spectacular -- nothing you wouldn't find anywhere else. If it's on your way and you don't mind spending nearly 5€ on what amounts to a 20 min stroll through a rather generic garden, go for it. Don't bother with the coffee shop, though. It's very overpriced and seems to cater to tourists exclusively.

I didn't expect to see so many interesting, exotic plants. It was truly amazing experience and the ficus is just phenomenal! I just don't understand why the entrance is so cheap (3 euros). I think tourists could pay a bit more to see all of this, because I bet it must be really expensive to run such place.

Great gardens, brilliant idea with nfc tags to listen to the audio guides dotted around a few plants. The only thing missing was somewhere to have a drink. I would have expected a little tea and coffee stall or even a vending machine with bottled water, etc
But great gardens with loads of history

Really worth the visit. It's about the size of a football field and costs 3 euro for adults. The big ficus planted in 1870 is impressive. The park has been there since 1780 and offers an amazing variety
It probably depends on the season but in the September it wasn't extremely interesting. To a layman at least.
Still, I liked the design, clear signs, water fountains. It's a nice place. I'd recommend to buy a combined ticket with the castle admission and visit the garden for a quick walk.

Great place to visit at any time, nice and cool & shady, only €3 entry fee, some plant have QR codes so you can listen to their info, has clean toilet facilities paths are mainly flat but some have large roots on them so not really accessible for the mobility restricted
Lovely place to visit after a walk in the Montjuic Castle. I was attracted by pictures of man-size Cactus, but turn out sadly I didn't find them. There were some nice plants of various places and some small cactus though.
We came here on a Wednesday and unfortunately couldn’t see the bonsai exhibition since it’s only open on weekends but I’ve heard good things about it. Your kids may have a good experience at the general exhibitions which are mainly about bees and the importance of insects and pollinators. The rest of the botanical garden is just ok. Might be nice for a run on a cloudy and cool day
These gardens are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. A little bit of history in the middle of Puerto. Entrance fee is 4.75 euros which may seem a bit steep until you get inside and have a wander around you will see it is money well spent. Don't forget also to buy some fish food! Super little cafe as well so be sure to make time for a coffee and a cake or some brunch in very pretty surroundings.
Thoroughly enjoyed visiting.
Was pleasantly surprised by the very cheap entry price for young people. Paid €2.50 each. The botanical garden was very empty and we only saw around 3-4 people walking around. We were handed a map at the entrance so was very easy to navigate through the many paths.

There are loads of water fountains in the botanical garden so only needed to walk around 4 minutes between each one.
Perfect on a hot day to drink from (water didn’t have a strange taste) and splash yourself with to cool off.

At the top of the botanical garden there was a bee exhibition which was interesting and air conditioned. Not well sign posted. Toilets were also nearby.

More people should visit for the price, however, I can see how it could be boring. Many of the plants look very similar, the labels also don’t tell you much about the plants except their scientific name and where they originate from. Some of the gardens isn’t completed yet.

I wish there would be fun facts scattered around the plants and the gardens as well as an informative website/ app.
A lush oasis of paths in the heart of Madrid. Green trees with wizened branches and ancient trunks. Leafy shade to escape the hot summer sun. Pleasant refreshments available at the cafe, including Fanta, cool white wine, and salty table nuts. Tall stone statues towering above, watching the tourists and the city kin pass and stroll below.
Beautiful place to visit, smells amazing. Sadly the walking path of the pond was closed and because of the heat some plants where dry. Other than that very nice treat by the staff, clean, amazing expos and very interesting specimens. Also we found a rooster and a chicken!!!
So I'm not normally one to pay much attention to flowers, but I'm on holiday so thought why not. Plus they make good pictures! I think the price on entry is a bit unfair (€4.75) but that's only because it's small, I went around the whole place in around 10-15 minutes. And took pictures of the majority of things that were there. Maybe it's because I'm not much of a plant person and didn't spend time actually interested in them🤷I'm not sure. But the plants are pretty! The location is okay, but it up a bit of a hill and some steps.
A beautiful little botanical garden. In many ways, I enjoyed it more than the other, much larger botanical garden. A great place to just go sit on a bench quietly for a while and enjoy nature.
An incredible venue for the summer concert series. A handful of stands set up for food and lots of bars throughout the gardens as well. Plenty of options to sit at a table, or relax in lounge chairs. Highly recommend going and planning to get there when they open at 19:30 to enjoy before the concert starts.

Oldest garden that is in Tenerifa! Went early in the morning when I had the Garden to myself! Small intimate space where you can enjoy coffee and cake! Lovely lady on the front desk, entrance 4,75€ (first thought it was bit much, but after seeing how the garden is maintained it's was quite ok). Great hidden spots, where if you wanted could stay longer and enjoy the peace and melodies of the birds. In comparison to Botanical Garden, great historical background- visited by Agatha Christie, home of William Wilde- father of Oscar Wild! Who likes nature and history, this is the place!

It is beautiful! Worth to visit it. Something else and a nice idea for a train station
A very rich botanic garden, it has a lot of different plants, and they are most often well labeled.

The paths are well maintained and its very nice to just walk around to discover or to do with friends/ partnes.

The only disadvantage is that some flowers are in poor state and that you have to come at the right moment to see more things in bloom

Definitely do recommend

We went to several gardens/parcs in Puerto de la Cruz and this one was by far our favorite! The people working here are lovely, so are the lovebirds, fishies and the history surrounding the garden. For €0.50 you can buy some fishfood. We had a lovely time!

An excellent place to enjoy shade whilst looking at the diverse range of flora and fauna. There are numerous seats situated around the gardens to take 5 whilst enjoying some incredible views. There are toilets too and there are ramp options for most sections of the gardens for easy accessibility. At 3 Euros for tourists to enter its great value for money and well worth a visit, especially if staying locally.
Madrid should be proud of its administration, the parks are well cared for the streets are clean, and the car drivers are patient and courteous.
Unfortunately, disappointment... "orchid garden" has less orchid types than I have at home (I have 3)... one alley long 15m full of phaleonopsis... (if there was more, it was not blooming). very disappointed... :( The whole garden is not organized... plants wildly growing between each other... well, see my pictures. compared to Jardins garden, which is 3x bigger, much nicer and cheaper?!

Well developed and well organized botanical garden featuring the endemic plants of the area. Very good job of labeling plants and providing explanations of the unique ecology of the region. And it is visually stunning with views of the peak of Teide and the caldera and surrounding peaks. Lots of birds and blue sided Canary Lizards too.
It was closed, we’ve been there around 18:00. Its just a tropical park inside train station. Nothing special. If u have time because you waiting on train, go chill there but anyway no Madrid attraction.

A hidden treasure!
We spent a fabulous few hours there, plants, flowers, birds and feeding the fish.
And a couple of unexpected bonuses... 1)A beautiful little cafe with all manner of delights. (Scones were scrumptious thank you.)
2) A lovely artist showing her fabulous work.
We came home with happy memories, happy tummies and a happy picture for our wall.
I like this place. Botanical gardens are exquisite havens that offer a delightful escape into the world of nature
Very huge garden with lots of different species and signs that describe names and other info. The entry was 2.50 euro for people aged 29 and younger and 5 euro for people above that age. There are spots that allow you an amazing view of Barcelona from above. The only little minus is that there are little seating possibilities but because it was not busy at all it was fine (we have been on the garden for 2-3 hours and met 4 or 5 times a grp of two people). The peace this place offers was actually quit amazing and calming. I loved my stay!

Decorating the EDGE old station hall with plants was certainly good, but overall I don't think it's a very big attraction. If you are in the vicinity, you are welcome to take them with you and see how beautifully the old station hall was decorated with the plants, right next to it is the new station hall, but I couldn't feel any special charm here.

The best place for over 40's to enjoy a gig. Very civilized indeed!
My oh my!!!! What a GREAT place in this already amazing city!!!! Cool people around, good music everywhere, superb mood specially after midnight (you can feel it in the air), food trucks which cook and serve a serious well craft-made and old fashion way burger, many spots offering you so many different kind of spirits, beers, wines…
For me was a paradise tuff to leave
What a night listening to the Gipsy Kings!
I expected to attend a great concert with the Gipsy Kings, what I didn't expect was such an incredible place. The whole site surrounding the concert arena is filled with lawns, lounge chairs, and little booths offering tapas, drinks, arts and crafts, etc. There's music everywhere, and the whole vibe is festive and happy. I think this is a good place to go even if you're not attending a concert.

Springtime (Feb) the plants are all in bud or growing phase. The views are lovely and the plants interesting for a while but all the same so one tires of the need to walk round it all. Perhaps a summertime visit!
Plus, the hikes also begin so be careful if you want to not end up walking more than intended! Well signposted for less abled folk too so excellent inclusion.
Very well looked after and for free spaces, Tenerife is exemplary. The visitor centre is helpful also.
Difícil encontrarlo abierto!!!
