i just finished a 2 week refresher course covering up to 2.1, school is a top notch organization and very close to the old town and excellent beaches, they offer a practical approach for those longing to improve their Spanish!
I studied Spanish with FU Academy for 1 year and I loved it. The staff and teachers are super helpful and friendly. The classes are a good mixture of grammar, culture and daily usage of Spanish. These studies improved my language skills a lot. Thanks to all the team of FU International Academy for such a great experience!
Whether you're thinking of taking up a course in general Spanish or Spanish for Teachers, which is what I did, you can't go wrong with this school! My teacher (Haridian) was fantastic as well as all the other teachers I observed (Sara , Vanessa, Lorenzo) and had a chance to see in action;) All the staff were always helpful and nothing seemed to be a problem or an obstacle. They organize a variety of activities that you can choose from (Salsa or Surf lessons, yoga, etc.). The school is really conveniently set next to a café (it's got a fantastic terrace) and there are shops and restaurants near by as well. For all the above mentioned, and much more, I really do recommend the FU International Academy and hope to be able to come again!

Luciana es una gran profesional , ayudó a mi hijo en curso intensivo de varios meses y aprobó el B1 para su máster .

I have just finished 6 weeks here in FU Academy. The school is a nice modern building about a 25 minute walk from the centre of puerto de la cruz. The teaching is very good, I started as a complete beginner and I am now pretty confident with basic conversations while going about my day in puerto de la cruz. The teaching is done through Spanish the majority of the time so your native language does not matter. I had Lorenzo, Sandra, Vanessa, Rosemary and Sara as teachers all of whom were very good. You switch teacher each week which is a nice change to the standard classroom environment. I also booked my accommodation through the school and was very happy with the quality of it. There is a cafe attached to the school with very affordable drinks and food throughout the day if you like. There are lots of activities hosted by the school such as salsa classes and yoga and I found it easy to make friends while here. I would recommend doing the conversation classes when you reach an A2 level as they’re a great opportunity to get practical speaking experience.
I spent 3 weeks in Desilena in July 2023. I really like the teaching method. I was a total beginner, the classes are very fun and educational. I would have liked to take more weeks, but couldn’t at this time. I’m looking forward to come again soon and learn more Spanish.

I joined Bildungsurlaub program and learned Spanish with FU. I really love the atmosphere they created for the students. I feel the procedure of getting shared apartment key can be improved. In general, I’m very happy with all the teachers and classmates. Amazing experience I collected here with FU and amazing people I’ve met in my life. 🥰
FU is a really excellent modern academy to learn or improve your Spanish. The building, courtyard and cafe are super. The teachers are incredibly experienced, funny, warm and knowledgeable. It is in the beautiful town of Puerto de la Cruz and offers a wide range of extra curricular experiences - many of them are free. Really is one if the two best language schools I have ever attended.
I started to learn German at this school from the elementary level. All I knew were the standard phrases. I didn't know any grammar either. Thanks a lot to my teacher Dieter for helping me in a short time to learn all the grammar and improve my German.
It was very cool that the class schedule was flexible. The material was explained in a very accessible way. The teacher was friendly and I was not afraid to make mistakes and felt very comfortable.

Excelente lugar y buena atención. He presentado prueba de nacionalidad y la verdad que todo muy organizado, para el calor que estaba haciendo ese día, bastante fresco el lugar.
Si que cuesta un poco el tema de aparcamiento por la zona, pero se llega súper rápido y en sus alrededores encontrarás variedad de sitios de comida, está ubicado en una zona bastante turística.

The school was very good and I learned a lot. The teachers spoke calm and clearly and there was a lot of interaction with the class. There are also a lot of activities the school organises for the students that are mostly free of charge (except for like wine tasting or surfing).
Only thing that did surprise me is that the most people who go there are middle-aged germans. I am 22 years old and I was by far (one of) the youngest that took the spanish course. However there still are some younger people at the school so had a lot of fun.

Giorgia ottima insegnante! Disponibile e preparata, ho frequentato con la mia famiglia il corso base e lei durante le lezioni parlava solo spagnolo, ovviamente lentamente e facendoci capire! Corso Base utile x noi giovani per avere una base dalla quale partire e per i miei genitori invece utile per la vita di tutti i giorni! Torneremo per l intermedio!!!! Grazie anche per le piccole chicche riguardo a modi di vita, usi, costumi, tradizioni, appuntamenti e burocrazia...Super Giorgia super consigliata!

Giorgia è un’insegnante perfetta ti parla sempre in spagnolo,metodo molto utile per capire e dialogare nel frattempo riesce correggerti.Proprio questo metodo per noi è servito molto,dato che è passato molto tempo dai tempi della scuola Sicuramente ci sarà ancora da studiare e magari fare di nuovo il corso per migliorare,ma già si riesce a capire abbastanza

Nette Lehrer, nette Gruppe aber die Texte sind nicht gut ausgewählt, wenn man die Sprache für eine Reise vertiefen möchte. Auf Level A2 wurden Märchen als Grundlage genommen. Der Hinweis dies sei nicht wichtig für alltägliche Gespräche wurde ignoriert. Zustand der Schule renovierungsbedürftig. Das Lehrbuch eignet sich leider gar nicht zum selber weiterlernen.

Ho fatto il corso intensivo con Giorgia a Novembre, e proseguirò anche a dicembre visti gli ottimi risultati.
Giorgia è bravissima, perché non da solo insegnamenti mnemonici, ma ti spiega l'origine delle parole, e per questo le parole ti rimangono molto più impresse e l'apprendimento dello spagnolo diventa davvero rapido. Concludo dicendo che Giorgia è davvero preparata e professionale, e credo proprio per queste ragioni con lei si può imparare lo spagnolo divertendosi, in un clima rilassato e gioviale, in cui qualsiasi persona può trovarsi a suo agio.

Mijn dochter volgt de cursus Spaans op Tenerife. Ze huurde daarbij de studentenflat.
Vooraf hadden we geïnformeerd of de huisvesting en de cursus geschikt was voor een meisje van 17.
Bij aankomst bleek dat ze met 3 buitenlandse mannen van 30+ de flat deelde. Bovendien kon haar kamer niet op slot.
Omdat mijn dochter zich niet veilig voelde is ze direct naar een hotel vertrokken.
Ik neem het de organisatie zeer kwalijk dat ze haar met drie volwassen mannen in een flat wilden stoppen.
Bovendien kwam de armoedige flat niet overeen met de flat op het filmpje van de website. De organisatie geeft niet thuis op mijn verzoek tot teruggave van de 1700 euro die we voor de flat hebben betaald. Schandalig!
De Spaanse lessen zijn prima maar de gemiddelde leeftijd ligt hoog. Geen leeftijdsgenoten.
Er was niet van tevoren gemeld dat dit een opleiding voor volwassenen is.
Enige voorlichting vooraf hierover was toch niet zo moeilijk geweest?
Dan hadden wij een andere locatie gekozen.
De danslessen die we geboekt en betaald hadden gingen niet door wegens gebrek aan deelnemers. Ook geen geld hiervoor terug maar een voucher voor ?

Great school and a wonderful experience! I've been learning Spanish here for six months already and the results I have are remarkable. Unfortunately I don't know about the quality of education in this school but the sale process and communication is very slow and unprofessional. Elena answered my emails in Russian language even though I started communication in English.
She sent me the test to define my level in April which I answered and sent back. I got the answer about my level in July!!!. And they didnt offer to check my speaking skills. That means they make decision about the level based on ofline test result. This is very weird because normally oral test needed to define the correct level. They invited me to "end of A2 level" whatever it means. OK I agreed to join the group.
Then Elena didn't send me the link to pay during 2 weeks. I was waiting and finally I got the message that the group is full. No apologies, no other offer. Of course I was upset and didn't want to continue with this school.
Happily I found another school on the island where totally different service and friendly guys.
UPD I saw the answer of the owner below. It doesn't sound convincing. I have no reason to lie because I really wanted to try this school.
It's quite shame that they can't admit theirs mistakes.

Clases de inglés con personal nativo, es lo mejor! Y calidad precio también está muy bien. Yo quedé muy contenta con mis clases.
If you are looking for seminars to attend while staying in Tenerife, you need to check out the FU International Academy. The mentors there Orsi, Alberto, Katya and Veronica were amazing and did a really great job in teaching us new things without making it seem hard at all. I'm very grateful that I had the opportunity to attend their seminars and meet them. I had the time of my life and I highly recommend this program to everyone. <3

I completed a one week intensive course in Feb with the school. I have completed Spanish classses in many countries such as Ireland, Peru and Bolivia. I must say that these were the best ones that I have taken so far! Jacobo is a great teacher and the teaching method used is really effective :)

Vivo en Italia quería comenzar un curso de español que comencé con Giorgia. Me encontré muy bien. Él siempre me siguió comenzando con la teoría y luego pasando a la práctica con lecciones de comunicación. Muy bien tanto a nivel profesional como humano. ¡Lo recomiendo!
Si hoy hablo un español decente, el mérito está en buena parte de la profesora Giorgia. Sus cursos de español permiten aprender rápido y divertido. Los recomiendo sin duda.
Excellente école, très agréable avec des salles bien équipées, propres et lumineuses. Un patio central qui rend l'endroit charmant. Localisation idéale. Nous étions 5-6 maximum par classe répartis par niveaux. Professeurs agréables et très pédagogiques ! Je ne peux que recommander.
I started my journey with INTI in October 2020. After spending my gap year 2015/16 in Spain I was looking for a little fresh up so I contacted INTI-support. Next I received all the answers to my questions and I picked the conversation-class option on their website. Soon I received an e-mail from my lovely teacher Eva! Since that day I am enjoying my weekly individual class with her via Zoom. I can always suggest conversation-topics and decide about my schedule. I would definitely recommend INTI to everyone who is looking for a fun and super comfy way to learn Spanish or improve his skills!
In Inti they treat you like family. The guys provide individual approach and are very responsive to feedback. The manager Amanda is always happy to answer any queries. Teachers Luis and Maria are very interesting and fun people with amazing teaching skills. I really feel the difference in my language level after 7 months of classes with Luis. Highly recommended!
The first time I took Spanish language classes with Inti was three years ago. I was in Salamanca and took an intensive course (five days a week) for a couple of weeks. Although I had known some Spanish, it was a very good way to invigorate it, to refresh the grammar rules and expand the vocabulary. Most of the classes were with one teacher, but some included others and all were very good.
Then last year, during the pandemic, I found out that the school was offering classes online. I joined again, for four weeks of an intensive course, followed by two classes a week which I am still taking a year later.
As before, the teachers were all excellent. The classes were small in size, maximum five students, which was a great way to practice the language and to have an interesting exchange of ideas. The focus was on conversation, with some digging deeper into the grammar, but also watching videos, listening to songs, writing short stories and playing games.
At this point I feel that the teacher and the students who have been in my group for long time now are all friends.
As for my Spanish, it has improved greatly. I am in Spain now and communicating with people is much easier than before.
I do recommend Inti very highly for anyone who wants to study Spanish

The flexible curriculum allows us to create classes that suit our needs -- be it for Spanish exams, for work purposes, or just for fun! My Spanish has improved significantly. I would highly recommend Inti to students at all levels from complete beginners to those who want to advance their Spanish!
The teachers were very friendly, informative and tailored the lessons to what the kids needed. Even though it was done over Zoom, it was very easy to pick things up. The lessons were fun and there were games to break things and to consolidate learning. Highly recommend this.

Nuestra peque estuvo este verano en su campus y se lo pasó en grande. No aprendió el idioma, es obvio que viéndose un ratito por la mañana no va a ser así cuando no hay continuidad en casa, pero sí aprendió muchas palabras, a entender cositas y sobre todo a relacionarse con diferentes nacionalidades y actitudes que son ideales para con su vida posterior. Hicieron muchos experimentos, recetas, actividades mil y disfrutaron de la playa con una extrema vigilancia ( lo que se por familiares que acudían a la playa). (cuando esto se vaya será la.bomba).La frase que se me quedó grabada de mi nena al principio fue "no entiendo nada, pero me lo estoy pasando bomba", lo cual sin conocer a nadie y encontrarse rodeada de otro idioma( a parte del suyo también) me indica que está bien atendida. Eran extrictos cuando tenían que serlo y llenos de una gran paciencia en otros momentos. Quizás me faltó alguna clasilla para que aprendiera vocabulario y entender algo más, pero si no se quedaba con las cosas se lo traducían. Mi más sincera enhorabuena al equipo de isla idiomas: Kirsty, Gordon y Elena son los que conocí. Si todo va bien volverá el próximo verano. Gracias a todos.

From the start I knew I was at home with Inti Online. The teachers are professional and the lessons are engaging and of high quality. I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to learn a language.

Useless, a promise of a phone call as the receptionist was only able to help in Spanish. That was the point of the scool. To teach me Spanish. The phone call never came. I was told that I had to have some Spanish in order to learn with this scool. DON'T BOTHER a waste of time !!!!!
I took a three-week super intensive course in this school and I have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life. The school is very nice, at the sea side, with a nice atrium where students and teachers meet, and classrooms branching off it. The best thing about this school, however, are its teachers. All are language professionals with degrees in languages and pedagogics, but most importantly, they are interesting people with a gift for teaching and an incredible sense of humour. I felt relaxed very quickly. This is not to say it was easy: I felt very tired every day, but learning in relaxation and with humour is a wonderful experience that I can recommend to everybody.
Really nice place to learn spanish! The teachers are really competent and classes are mostly in small groups, so every student gets maximum attention! I was here for 4 weeks and i learned a lot of spanish and found a lot of friends from around the world!

I was really interested in taking lessons in this Spanish language school. Such a pity that they are not open during the hours they say they are. Wen there twice to check the place out at 4 pm, nobody there and they communicate they are open until 5 pm. Waste of my time!!
5 veces e llamado en días diferentes y nunca contestan. Fui personalmente y no me abrieron la puerta la chica a su rollo.
No esta mal, ofrecen un montón de idiomas distintos. Los precios me parecieron un poco altos y la experiencia que tuve no me gustó mucho, pero va a depender del profesor como en todos lados.
Muy buena agencia para viajes internacionales de alumnos menores de 18 años. Yo viajé a Canadá y fue de total confianza.
