Not the best sushi (too much rice and rice itself was not the good japanese rice), the meat/fish not as tasty, but acceptable.
ordered donburi which had a lot of sauce but only a few small chunks of beef. Ok miso soup. They have wasabi so that’s good. The one I liked the most is salmon sashimi but they limit that to 5 per person.
Buffet is super good value if you’re hungry. Good service too.

excellent experience!! The food was great, clean and delicious. The staff was wonderful. Everything is delightful!! Highly recommend!
Y (Why) Sakura? Because it is the nicest, coziest, funnest place were we ha been in a long time, no matter the country, time or currency. A very nice concept of all you cat eat where the can cook you up to 100 dishes fresh to order, the drinks are not overpriced and all you need to have a good time is an empty belly. Extra points for the fact that they are a family business with huge smiles on their faces. Will go back 100%.
Went to have the night buffet, very good food, we enjoyed the sushi the most.
The restaurant offers great food for a fair price. We were quite happy with the service; however, the order of the food could receive more attention (soup first, then the rest). The location is average, and it was a relatively loud. But I would go there again since in the end the quality of the food matters.

Ich hatte eine Thailändische Ente mit Reis. Das Essen war kaum gewürzt und die Sauce bestand nur aus Fett. Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.
Llevo pidiendo comida de este lugar años y el 80% de las veces sale algo mal: o viene algo de menos o me COBRAN DE MAS. Esta es la última vez que pido, no hay asiáticos en la zona asique me tengo que conformar con esto pero ya me he cansado de que me timen.

No tienen la carta actualizada a la hora de los alérgenos, pedí ternera con patatas y en la carta pone que es sin gluten, lleva soja y lleva gluten, pedí que me lo cambiarán y me dijeron que tendria que pagar el otro, su carta no solo esta mal actualizado con la ternera también lo esta con otros productos.

The best sushi in the area and I have tried many. I like dining alone and I felt very comfortable. The food was amazing maybe only udon noodles were not the best but otherwise fresh delicious hot and tasty!!!
The worst food I ever had. They wanted to charge me extra because I didnt finish a single plate. I felt sick after first bite. Do not recommend.
The restaurant is ok nothing special. A modern sushi restaurant type. They have more than a 100 dishes so probably something isn’t as good as it should be. We had few starters and they were ok. The sushi though was quite nice. Only thing we order something like 4 spicy dishes and either they were not spicy enough or the was no spice at all. It an all right place if you’re in the area. AYCE dinner for 19.95€ plus drinks and/or dessert.
Disappointing experience. The food wasn’t good at all, specially the Tuna. You could see that the fish had been frozen and then heated up with the blowtorch.

Wir sollten ca. 15 Minuten warten. Nach ca. 30 Minuten verschwand der Sushi Zubereiter und wir wurden vertröstet. Wir haben auf das Take Away verzichtet, da wir wegen unserer Hunde nicht länger warten konnten.

Nice Japanese restaurant. Service was a bit spotty but improved as the evening progressed. Edamame beans were a bit over done. Rest of our meals were very good. Would definately go back.
The place is very cute and the atmosphereis very informal, the people working there are also very friendly and quality/price is actually pretty good! I love their miso soup, super healthy, hot and tasty!

Hice un pedido a domicilio de ternera en salsa aparte de que lo han subido ahora está a 9 euros te ponen menos de la mitad de la tarrina cuando antes ponían más y costaba menos, cuando llamo para decirles que no quiero el pedido por que obviamente para lo que cuesta y la cantidad que ponen no me parece normal, me dicen que si quiero la tarrina llena que la próxima vez lo pida con verdura y encima de mala manera. En cualquier caso no vuelvo a pedir más a domicilio ahí.
La comida es deliciosa, me gusta ir a darme un gusto de vez en cuando, el lugar es muy agradable, los precios son accesibles, sería una experiencia perfecta, pero la amabilidad de los camareros depende del día que tengan por qué algunas veces me atienden bien y otras me siento regañada, sería bueno que mejorarán eso por qué el lugar está genial.

i wanted sushi and my boyfriend said it was a waste so we made a compromise and said we could only get all you can eat, sceptical i agreed thinking that sometimes the quality of food goes down when it’s all you can eat ESPECIALLY important when eating raw fish…
we arrived ready to murder the CAN EAT aspect of an all you can eat meal and we’re greeted by the most lovely waitress with a lovely view of the food coming out of the kitchen. excitedly we made our first order (out of four) and we’re SHOCKED at the quality of everything that quickly arrived out of the kitchen.

we finished our meal with a delicious mochi and i am leaving this restaurant a well deserved perfect review, i respect everything they do and all of their rules - including the €3.50 for every unfinished order rule and also the please drink with your meal rule. amazing place if you’re in barcelona and you want nice sushi definitely come here :)

I ordered the menu (4 plates) and the Gunkans were full of rice with a little salmon on top - which was smelling terrible. I'll never come back. I don't know how this place has 4 stars. Defined not recommended.
No se puede hacer un arroz tres delicias tan malo, arroz pastoso y con sabor raro. El pollo con limón sin sabor a limón... El resto pasable. Tiempo de espera casi una hora, me.esperaba mejor comida. Sin duda no volveremos a realizar un pedido.
Really fresh and tasty sushi and dumplings. The ingredients for the sushi rolls are simple and cheap but the fish is amazingly fresh and the whole thing just melts in your mouth. The dumpling sauce could be better quality. The portions of rice are abundant.

I don’t even know how this restaurant still survives 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 worse experience ever had in my life I pay even before they serve and they don’t give a damn about giving me the whole order I paid for until I have to ask for I think I waited a whole hour
Best sushi buffet in Barcelona
Kleines Restaurant in der Calle Verdi (Hauptrestarantgegend von Gracia). Das Essen ist japanisch und meist von guter Qualität zu fairen Preisen. Der Sevice war bisher immer sympathisch. Das Mittagsmenue ist praktisch und hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Very cheap for what you get, 16.50 euros for a buffet on weekends and 11.50 on weekdays.

Good value , great service and nice super chilled music . Had the “degustación menu “ which had a little bit of all worlds , must come back - ah the dessert home made by the wife of whom I assume is the owner - was absolutely delicious .
The miso soup and salad were very good. However the sushi were horrible.. too much rice and very little fish. Wish this place was better.. :( also we came on Saturday and the buffet price was around 19€ pp
Excellent sushi 🍣 Food is served very quick and hot! My favourite sushi’s are Fukuoka & kokoro Kai and definitely tori no karage . Have been here for more than 20 times till now. My go to sushi place in Barcelona. I liked the way how they cared about our comfort and taste. Chef Manroka really listens to how you like it and tailor makes it as per your taste.
Best value sushi - really fresh and only 3 euros per plate. Great food and great prices conveniently so close to my Airbnb. I’ve enjoyed the sushi rolls, nigiri, tempura, and rice so far.
The one in Carrer Goya is nicer in terms of ambiance and decoration. Here you can book at least. Sushi was nice although I didn't like the Italian Uramaki, It tastes just like pesto and nothing else. Service was ok.

Cozy, quiet, and phenomenal quality for the cost. Enjoyed our first meal there so much we went back the next day. Great service with English menus available for those who need it. Highly recommend the Toro, Unagi, and Sake nigiri- the Horse Mackerel was some of the best I’ve had.

Great place to eat Asian Food (Sushi), awesome sevice, great pricing on the menu style service and great a la carte food. I will visit again and the place is basic but food and pricing are worth it. (Service is good and polite). If you are looking for quality and price this is your place. Recommended.
I was sick for four days after eating Sushi there. Didn't realize that and ate again, then got sick for a day only. I guess my body started to recognize the bacteria or whatever it was. Also know a guy who vomitted after eating there. I told them about it but they seem clueless when you say anything else but not the number of the dish you gotta order. So i don't recommend to play this roulette.
One of the greatest places for sushi and tsukiyaki in Barcelona. The place is quiet, so you can relax and have a delicious dinner!
Unfortunately, if you decide to take a child with you and they don't eat anything, they happily charge you an extra 7 euros for nothing.. They actually decide they will charge for this based on the height of your child!?! So, a reasonable lunch ruined by being ripped off. Well done, never coming back 👍

On the plus side the day time menu was good value at €11 for three courses. The food was nice but not not as good as other sushi restaurants locally.
It’s ok for a visits if the queues at the other restaurants are too big.

All you can eat für 18,50€ einfach top! Sehr schneller Service der nicht ganz freundlich ist aber dafür schmeckt das Essen sehr gut.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Getränke und das Essen kam sehr zügig. Der Eierreis war sehr lecker, der normale Reis ging auch geschmacklich, aber warum muss man sich denn Reis separat bestellen? Ich kenne das nur so, das normaler Reis zu den Gerichten serviert wird, außer man möchte wie ich Eierreis essen, der ja auch mehr kostet als normaler Reis. Die gebratene Ente hab ich mir mehr kross gewünscht und bei der gebratenen Ente mit Zwiebeln waren nur einige Zwiebelstreifen unter der Ente, da sollte sich der Koch doch mal die Fotos der Gerichte und wie die herausgegebenen Speisen aussehen, vergleichen. Die dazugehörige Entensosse war so schlecht im Geschmack, daß ich meinem Mann von meiner Soße abgegeben habe. Sossen müssen auf jedenfall mehr gereicht werden, man möchte ja seinen Reis und das Fleisch nicht trocken essen. Wenn jemand dort essen möchte, rate ich dazu in den äußeren Räumlichkeiten zu Speisen, da im Restaurant eine Atmosphäre und die Geräuschkulisse einer vollbesetzten Kantine geherrscht hat. Von in Ruhe das Essen genießen waren wir weit entfernt. Auch hat mir gefehlt das zum Essen keine Soja-und scharfe Soße gereicht wurde und ich erst danach fragen musste.
Im grossen und ganzen war ich mit dem Restaurant zufrieden. Beim nächsten Mal, hab ich keine großen Erwartungen. Das Restaurant bietet alle Gerichte für 3/4€ an und für den Preis ist die Qualität hervorragend! Plus die Familie, die das Restaurant besitzt, ist super freundlich. Liegt auf dem Weg nach Hause und esse ganz gerne nach der Arbeit da: mit 9€ wird Mensch satt. Klare Empfehlung!

A bit disappointed on what was given for the price
Presentation: the first thing about the sushi was that they didn’t seem uniformed which is not a big deal but they also started falling apart when you pick it up
Taste: I’ve had better in Barcelona for the same price. The taste wasn’t anything special and rather basic.

Value for price is good. Food comes out relatively quickly. Tempura Chicken roll was not great. Fried rice is good. Miso soup is good, but missing the seaweed. Atatido vegetal was the best thing I got. Veggie tempura was also pretty good. Overall worth it if you’re looking for all you can eat.

The Tuna tower was a great choice for appetizer, and the beef skewers are a must try.
We had the Thai soup, which was not very traditional, but tasty.

it was awesome… the food was great and soooo tasty, it came fast even though there weren’t that many workers. Also, specially for tourists it’s unbelievable how cheap it is. We paid 12€ for all-you-can-eat and one drink.

Great little Japanese place just a step away from Sants Station. I tried the special menu for €25. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it, especially if you're looking for a break from Spanish food and Japanese cuisine appeals to you. Regular meals are a lot cheaper but not as varied.
Best buffet restaurant in Barcelona. You guys should send home deliveries with Uber Eats, Just Eat, Glovo, Deliveroo to compensate for the missing clients due to the pandemy and avoid getting closed due to lack of customers.

There is so much food on the moving conveyor belt that we hardly had a moment with no food on our table. They refill the belt often and with a wide variety of different foods, which were all delicious. Definitely worth the price for all you can eat, it was amazing!

5 stars for being one of the few restaurants buffet with good sushi and very polite staff. Adapted to the COVID19 measures, perfectly safe.
I don’t know how this place received as many stars as it did, but I’ve had sushi all over the world and this is by far the worst I’ve had it. The sushi rice was too sweet and wet and the sushi on top of it was bleeding into the rice. Even my two kids wouldn’t touch it and they are not too hard to please. In addition, the “Japanese” food is not Japanese food. I ordered tempura shrimp udon and I got some udon noodles in broth that tasted a combination of MSG and random various flavors starting from Worcestershire sauce and ramen powder packet. It was salty and after three bites the portion was done. That’s how little came out. If you want authentic Japanese, you might think twice.
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. All you can eat sushi and Japanese style food. My partner ordered everything in Spanish so I'm unsure how easy it will be to order in English. The service was quick and friendly, the food was fresh and very tasty. I'd highly recommend the ribs!
A bit expensive for the variety they offer, costumer service not the greatest, a bit rude. The food was good tho, and didn't take long to come so that's a plus. Now, saying that we have to buy a drink otherwise we can't eat in the restaurant it's too much, as tourists we drunk a lot of water as were walking all day, and we still had some water left, making people buy drink just so you can get more money is unacceptable specialy when you don't even say it in a nice a polite way.
I myself wouldn't go again, but again, the food and waiting time was good, just keep in mind those few points I said.

Lovely Restaurant with friendly Staff and efficient Service. A good selection of various Sushi and hot asian dishes. Portions are generous. I can recommend the mongolian beef, thai duck and vegetable fried rice. It's all fresh and very tasty, Moderatley priced. Easy parking right behind the Restaurant.
Update: Went back to Shan Oriental Restaurant 3 years later. The food was still very tasty. Sushi fresh and yummy. Only the Staff was a bit slow and listless this time.
And had more Sushi just a few days later. Simply delicious

It’s cheap and really good, it was better thank I expected.
Nice place to spend with friends and couple. There was an huge amount of sushi, rolls, uramakis and this Japanese staff to choose from their menu. Pasta was amazing as well, and for me the quantity of it just for one person, is small. If you share it is great.

The staff there is very friendly, i really recommend this place. Tried a variety of foods i never had before and i wasn't disappointed at all
Reasonably priced sushi buffet. Quality of fish is average and placing orders to cater for individual needs within a group maybe a challenge, since every order is served together. Attentive service. It is not possible to leave any food on the dishes. You have to finish everything you order or else you will be charged for the leftovers.
Good Japanese restaurant. Not your typical trendy Gracia sushi restaurant. Don't need to book. Nice atmosphere. Sushi is well prepared. Service is good.

It's always packed at night so reservation is a must ... Lunch time you might have better luck but I suggest you book a table anyway.

Forgot to take pic. Every delicious fried noodle in the set menu, almost the best I ever have. Not Japanese owns the restaurant, but who cares. Most important is sashimi is fresh enough. Fishes don't lie.
Excellent food. Very tasty and fresh. Highly recommend
