What a gorgeous place! The army museum is enormous but the most impressive was the dome with Napoleons tombe. We thought it was fearly cheap for the overall experience. there is so much to see in different parts of the building. It's close on Thursday so make sure that you will not plan visit on Thursday.
Extremely big! Too big to explore in one day. It pack of war history, outfit, tools and several stuff.
Gorgeous area, with spectacular views in all directions. Definitely worth a little detour to take in this site
Lovely beach on the Dordogne River , you have table and chairs just need to bring your picnic

Lieu idéal pour un pique nique avec des tables , la pêche le farniente, en famille tranquille et ombragé , mais pas de baignade.
Interesting place, with an exquisite entrance gate and old cannons and other military equipment around. Lovely greenery and architecture and beautiful road leading to the gate with golden figures on monuments on the side of the road!

This beautiful lawn is located between Pont Alexandre III and Musée de l'Armée. It is open for public for free. When visited yesterday, there was an art event supporting the life of dolphins.
I visited the place a little later in the evening just before the lights came on. It looked like a magnificent building without the lights on, but when the lights were turned on it was a completely new place. It looked so much ago. There are some places for people to sit around and relax. I would definitely recommend people to check this out after the lights are turned on.

Nature, vaste et magnifique. Prévoir un petit repas sur place ou un goûter. La forêt accolée est superbe.
On peut y tremper les pieds mais la baignade est interdite et on comprend pourquoi.

Really nice for a walk but quite muddy for picnics even during summer.
Superbe lieu de nature et de dépaysement au bord de la Dordogne. Espaces de pique nique et de jeux pour enfants.

Perfect to meditate with nature and take a pure breath
Sweet memories from childhood, needs more shade (Stop cutting trees), needs a place for food and drinks!
Beautiful park in the forest. Great getaway from busy Paris for a picknick and not far.
Amazing visait to the invalidés war museum and esplanade filled with helicopters. At the end the pilots climbed in and took them home in front of everyone! Amazing!
