Gracious and friendly staff, knowledgeable sommelier, exquisite food. One of my very best restaurant experiences.
Amazing experience. We celebrated my fiancé's birthday. We ordered snails, frog legs, and duck served with olives. Chocolate profiteroles for desert. Everything was very tasty! We also liked the ambience and old French songs mixed with Sinatra ;)
A nice bar in the area of Chatelet right next to the westfield mall.
Hard to think of a worse dining experience in my life, much less at a place with the prestige and reputation of Allard.
The lobster wrapped in chicken was decent but forgettable, but the chicken for two seemed to have nothing added to it and was quite dry. Certainly nothing special as you might expect. What was really appalling though was the portion of seasoned vegetables (separately ordered for $12!).
The list of service issues are too lengthy to mention.

Lots of big screens in this British themed pub so ideal for watching sport. Didn't eat so can't offer an opinion. Fast friendly service & a good range of beers.

The quality of the food was very average for the price (39€ on Sundays, 29 on Saturdays) with basic and limited choice and average execution. Bacon over cooked and dry became extremely salty. The food was almost cold. The brie was poor quality. The large choice was for pizzas.
I would have liked more verrines for choice of desserts.
It was very noisy with loud music and loud people.
We were sat at the last table by the toilet. There is no door, just a beaded curtain so you were living with people entering the toilets and washing their hands and had to squeeze to make sure they did not bump into your table or feet.
No space between tables to get to the buffet, and you had to crab walk to access. People's coats on the back of the chair became a trip hazard.
Also mixing level of tables meant that you had people's bum at eye level.

This was an extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end. We booked in person 7 weeks ago and were still shown to a terrible table that was in a corridor and we couldn’t fit. Other people sitting nearby said they tried to sit them there and they also asked to move. We were then moved around the corner to a folding table seated next to a table of ten. Before that table arrived we had to ask to order drinks but it got worse after that table arrived. The staff paid us no attention. We poured our own drinks whilst having our table jostled constantly whilst they served the other table much more attentively. Every other table had couples like us and looked similarly unimpressed. The food was ok, we had the duck for two. They tried to take dishes away before we had finished them and then we did finish, took forever to clear our table despite many staff walking by. We weren’t asked if we wanted anything else, so eventually got up for the bill. The waiter at the till ignored us whilst talking to his colleagues. After taking our coats, and interrupting him we paid. Another staff member came by and we told them it was a terrible experience. They asked why and we explained as outlined. They didn’t seem to care. I haven’t written a bad review for a restaurant before. After having been on holiday for 7 weeks, eating in restaurants both cheaper and more expensive, this was particularly stand out for appalling service. For €211 for two, having 2 glasses of rose, a half carafe of red and one shared main dish, it was most definitely not worth it.

Very nice French restaurant by Alain Ducasse . The dining room is very cozy space inside. Lunch set is at superb quality at decent price for this kind of quality. Wine selection is great and high quality. Beef cheek la bourguignonne is excellent.
Un endroit convivial où vous êtes certains de passer un agréable moment. Nous n’avons pas encore tout goûté mais les planches (rondins) sont incroyables, autant salées que sucrées et les tapas 😍..,et avec un grand choix de boissons 🍸 🍺 Bravo 👍

I love this place. It's a great English pub with a strong Irish flair right and downtown Bordeaux right off the shopping district. If you are a guy, in particular, and your lady friend is doing some shopping, this is a great place to grab a cold pint!

Smelly, dirty and needs to be gutted. So worn it is not fit for use. Bathroom full of flies. Untidy and unfriendly girl at bar.

Really nice place to spend a night out. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is quite nice. The neighborhood is also full with food options in case you will need a snack .
Great little bar - perfect for watching the rugby. Lots of English people and French locals as well.
Bar très vide quand nous sommes arrivés, un peu étrange je dois bien l'avouer, mais la guinness y est très bonne. Un rockeur complètement foufou y a fait un concert c'était incroyable mais il manquait de public c'est bien dommage !

Weekend of RWC England v Argentina and Marseille was packed but the staff kept on top of service and clearing tables.

Great bar to watch sport. Stumbled into this bar to watch some rugby. Bar was pretty busy and service was great. Decent a/c for a hot day, had a projector in the back and two good tvs.

Awful. They are thieves . They tried to gaslight us into thinking we hadn’t paid for drinks when we had. Having ordered AND paid with the waiter, we went to chase up our drinks only to be told …. No, you need to pay. Ok, no problem a slight miscommunication no worries we have confirmation on our phones of the payment going through… nope they didn’t care the manager just shouted at us until we felt so uncomfortable we had to leave. Awful experience and feel like we aren’t the only people they will pull this sort of act on. They pray on tourists - do not go!!!!!!
This pub is on a cracking street however.... The manager in here scams people. They take payments for drinks that don't arrive. They use their bouncers to intimate you and make you leave.
The worst part was later in the night we met another group where the same thing had happened to them.

I wish there was a zero star option because this place would get it. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They take payments for drinks which never arrive. And then get very aggressive and deny you paid. Do not go here.
Great staff! Cozy atmosphere! Great selection of English beers, ciders and snacks. Multiple screens to watch your favorite sport. Plenty of fun events such as Quizz on Tuesdays and Pub songs on Thursdays. Once you go there is it most probably you would want to come back again!

Cette note évalue uniquement le fait de s'être fait dirigé a la sortie par la serveuse du fait que mon fils de 1an et demi a gémi de plaisir a la vue d'un chien à notre arrivée tout en étant prévenu a l'entrée que notre enfant devait absolument bien se tenir et ne pas faire de bruit.

Wow. The frogs legs! Seriously this dish may be my favourite in Paris! There’s a new chef in the kitchen and I will definitely be visiting every time I come into town for this food! Unreal - MUST try! The rice, mixed with the sauce… mouth watering

Nous sommes venus passer un bon moment, mais au final très déçu… Le service n’est pas terrible, la serveuse visiblement débordée et le patron désagréable à souhait, ne souhaite même pas former ses employés, nous avons eu de la peine pour elle. Nous avons demandé à être simplement servi, mais visiblement il faut se débrouiller tout seul. Le patron est quelqu’un de très désagréable, qui cherche le conflit avec ses clients, jusqu’à en venir à une pseudo confrontation faciale pour nous impressionner et nous faire partir. Même les clients autour étaient choqués de ce comportement qui ne ressemble en aucun cas à celui d’un commerçant.
Si vous chercher à passer un bon moment il ne faut pas compter sur le patron mais plutôt sur les seuls clients qui s’amusent dans une sorte de karaoke désorganiser. Bonne soirée !

Watched the Women’s World Cup Final on their big screen. What an atmosphere! Lots of beer and noise! Perfect!

Great pub, lots of options on tap and the staff had great experience with their customers, good English speaking group, the manager is an expat from England and provided a great experience.
Good pub serving a variety of beers and cider. There's a large terrace and a lot of place indoors as well. The staff is friendly.

Unnecessary use of violence. One of our friends was violently lifted and pushed out the terrace for bringing some food, even tho the bar's kitchen was already closed. The security guard acted disproportionately with excessive force even if our friend had stepped out the table and was standing in the sidewalk next to it, which is public space. I will not go back nor can't I recommend a place that tolerates this kind of behaviour in their staff.

Really an enjoyable moment. The staff was very nice and kind though the service was full. The brunch buffet is composed of different this as the suit all. I visited with my sister and kids and they all enjoyed it. I recommend and I will be back !

Cool environment in a quite neighborhood for a cold beer, a delicious crispy chicken with French fries and a vegetarian Burguer, very delicious!

The pint in HH is cheap, 4€. After that the price are pretty expensive and the beers are not the best. 10€ an IPA that seems a blonde..
Allard is classic French food done right. I think the quote on the menu about clients coming to the restaurant not for surprise or novelty, but for well-executed culinary classics sums up the ethos well. The chicken for 2 was heavenly. Perfectly cooked skin, moist inside, full of flavor in every bite. The truffle macaroni and cheese was indulgent and comforting. My only complaints would be the incredibly warm dining room and the sometimes blunt service, but this is characteristic of many places in Paris. The food more than makes up for it though, and truly a memorable meal. Best chicken I’ve ever had.

Nous sommes venus fin mai pour la première fois tester ce bar/resto que nous avions trouvé via des avis Google, quelle merveilleuse idée ! Les rondins (planches à partager) sont délicieux, un mélange de produits de qualité, du fait maison et avec amour. Sarah est aux petits soins, hyper attentive au bien-être de ses clients sans en faire trop.
Nous recommandons vivement si vous êtes de passage sur Trouville !! On a déjà hâte d’y retourner !

Pints, pints, UK vibe and not (it is in France)... very chill. Very down to earth and near the cartier St Michel. Spent many evenings there in the past....Staff were always sooo great.
I love coming to the Black Lion when I’m in Toulouse. It’s the only bar that can properly do a Vieux Carré and and Old Fashioned with grace and ease.

I recommend for anyone in Toulouse. 5/5.

J'y suis allé 2 fois, le pastis est excellent à 1€50 seulement ! Les serveurs et serveuses sont super sympas. Malgré mon taux d'éthanol dans le sang plus que problématique, le personnel a été indulgent avec moi. J'adore ce bar !

I like this place as the staff are very friendly and the prices of beers and street food are reasonable.
39€/ person is a little expensive. And you have just one hour to have your brunch. There is so many people inside, very crowded. I think it’s not very quality-price choice.
Cozy and good beer. Cheerful staffs. The fiber foods are not that good. Overall, nice place.
Nice bar with bocce ball downstairs. Bar staff is superb, there was a ton of students in for a bocce ball tournament and they were great at handling the rush. Didn't eat but the food looked good.

I honestly had a blast. The decoration is pretty nice, reminds me of my time in London. The music is mostly rock, and fits the whole place. It's warm, cosy and nice.
Thanks a lot to the staff, Julia, Ben and Lucille for their warm welcome, and very pro behaviour, they are proof that having fun while working is possible.
And, last but not least, go try the bloody cider. It's good, and, will work its magic as you intend to.

I honestly had a blast. The decoration is pretty nice, reminds me of my time in London. The music is mostly rock, and fits the whole place. It's warm, cosy and nice.
Thanks a lot to the staff, Julia, Ben and Lucille for their warm welcome, and very pro behaviour, they are proof that having fun while working is possible.
And, last but not least, go try the bloody cider. It's good, and, will work its magic as you intend to.

One of my best experience to get drunk in a gentleman style in Toulouse. Beers are just wonderful, and i can't speak of this place Without a special mention of The Weston Cider that would get you more happier than your ex-wife.
Is this what a cuba libre should be looking like? We ordered for us because it is happy hour. Instead we got this. Returning to the bar asking what this is and that we ordered cuba libre which should more look like coke, they scoffed at us telling us to order a new drink. Very bad service.
Great Service, well run pub, nice range of good beers, very comfortable atmosphere of a British pub. The most ideal part is how you can walk up to a bar, order pint, receive pint and pay for pint in one go. We got tired of the French bars because they do not know how to run a pub - there seems to be no option to just go for a “quick pint” with French bars.
Discret de l'extérieur , c'est en passant la grande porte d'entrée que le premier effet kiss cool de fera ressentir ..Une déco très soignée vous accueille dans un bel espace moderne et cosy .Laurent et Christelle seront au petit soin pour vous accueillir et vous accompagner tout au long des soirées musicales et festives, spécialilté des bords de scènes . En famille ou entre potes c'est un vrai plaisir de partager une soirée de détente en musique . Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement qui mérite largement le détour.
FAB bar. Visited before and after rugby match. Real friendly staff. Good beer (in pitchers if you want👍) and a really good singer/guitarist kept us well happy1👍😀👏

Nicely decorated and cosy place to have a drink with your friends. It was quite busy when I was there. Good atmosphere. Self service at the bar. Cocktails ain't much so I recommend having something else to drink.
Fish and chips for 16 euros??? Taking into account that nearly the main ingredient is chips and the amount of fish is ridicolous, this price is totally unacceptable. Quite bad beer, although the price is affordable. Finally, staff smoking near the clients when they are eating is unaceptable. Definitely I'll never go to this pub again.
L'amabilité de la serveuse laisse un peu à désirer. Malpolie, malveillante, mauvaise et insultante. Elle nous a envoyé balader sans respect, soit disant à cause du coronavirus et parce qu'il était tard alors qu'une quinzaine de personnes sans masques consomment devant l'enseigne. C'est tout simplement malhonnête et irrespectueux. Ce n'est plus ce que c'était.
Best pub of Toulouse. Simple environment, friendly staff, good food, nice music and beer not expensive. Highly recommended!

A cozy place to drink. They have some nice beers on taps, good cocktails and good shots. We went there on a Sunday night (Not the most ideal day to got to a bar), and there was a quiz there (which was in English). I highly recommend this place which is conveniently located next to the metro/tram station Palais du Justice.
Great bar and lovely staff where we organize every Monday from 7.30 pm a language exchange event. Our members meet locals and internationals from around the world. They practice languages whatever the level in a friendly atmosphere.

Very cool guys at the bar. If you visit during Happy Hours you can enjoy cheap beer, while the rest of the bars charge twice as much for being next to Notre Damme. As of Nov/2018 Happy Hours were until 22:00 and Kronnenbourg 0,50lt cost €4.50. Other bars charged way more. Enjoy!
Grand place, has a dart board and decent range of ales but weirdly not many lagers (their "lager" was really a light ale and too hoppy) but my craft beer drinking friend loved it!

D'un pub sympa c'est devenu un bar dansant qui ne ressemble plus à rien. Encore un établissement qui dans 6 mois aura rendu l'âme.
Stopped in with a friend for a quick post-work refreshment. The staff are super friendly and fast with the service. Happy hour runs till 10pm which is appreciated. Good selection of refreshments on offer. I will return if in the area.
The fish and chips are very delicious! There's an English pub atmosphere. The personal is very kind. Is good to eat lunch, dinner or to have some beers only.
Great selection of beers, loud rock/punk/indie music and visitors that reflect what I just wrote. Dark, stylish and pretty cool. A good contrast to the more fashionable places in town!
