Awesomeness 👌 Les Arcs is a true paradise for skiing enthusiasts, offering a spectacular winter wonderland that is bound to leave a lasting impression. Nestled in the French Alps, this ski resort has gained a reputation as one of the premier destinations for winter sports, and my recent visit only reaffirmed this status.

The ski terrain in Les Arcs is nothing short of remarkable. With over 200 kilometers of slopes, skiers and snowboarders of all levels can find runs that suit their abilities. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, there are plenty of options to explore. The variety of trails, from gentle blues to challenging blacks, keeps the experience exciting and engaging.

One of the standout features of Les Arcs is its interconnected ski area with neighbouring La Plagne, forming the Paradiski ski domain. This vast expanse of slopes is accessible via the Vanoise Express cable car, creating a skier's dream with endless possibilities to explore.

The resort infrastructure is top-notch, with modern ski lifts and well-maintained facilities. Accommodation options range from cozy chalets to luxurious hotels, catering to various preferences and budgets. Additionally, the après-ski scene in Les Arcs is vibrant, with numerous bars and restaurants offering delicious French cuisine and a lively atmosphere.

The breathtaking mountain scenery, blanketed in pristine snow, adds a picturesque backdrop to your skiing adventures. The overall experience in Les Arcs is a harmonious blend of natural beauty, thrilling slopes, and warm hospitality, making it a must-visit destination for anyone passionate about skiing. Great place to go in summer as well as winter. We did paragliding, horse riding, mountain biking, "Alpine Coater" in Les Carroz, "Le Splash" water park and climbing in the trees at Lac Bleu in Morillon, a little hiking. There are loads of other things we didn't do: rafting, canyoning, visiting local farms and museums. There are loads of places to get food local food and drink, with a surprising amount of local beers from various different local breweries.

We've been a few times, in both winter and summer, and explored all the local towns. 1950 is our favourite place of Les Arcs. Great for skiing and walking. Lots if activities for kids, too.

Very nice place to visit and stay for two weeks minimum

Vanaf camping Le Chamois prachtige wandelingen gemaakt.
Amazing week in the french mountains.
The food was good and the ski was really great. The staff was so kind and the services flawless. I will comeback next year for sure
Amazing team! thank you to all the manager and the GO&GE for this holiday. the tea time it’s excellent et incredible food. thanks Saïd and Vincent

Really love this place it's big. Good for beginners and experienced and kids.
You can easily stay in Bourg Saint Maurice and go up by the funiculair.
Go to restaurant la ferm in villaroger when skiing. Get a plate du Jour at the sunny terrasse. Best restaurant when skiing.
Will definitely be back.
The whole of espace killy is a great ski area.
It awesome, I had so much fun
But the snow can be very soft were you sink through very hard were you can't stop
Having been to the relatively nearby Les Trois Vallées, I can say Tignes is comparable in many ways and offering a ski experience on par with its more premium cousin.

The resort boasts a large piste playground stretching over several key areas from the family-friendly Tignes (Le Lac, Val Claret, 1800) to the more advanced terrain of Val d'Isère with a wide range of pistes for different skill levels. Runs are great as they're groomed daily and the slopes receive tons of powder. Weather conditions can vary drastically throughout the week but we experienced some of the best conditions during our time with lots of bluebird days. And just as you think the snow's getting a little packed, fresh snow gets dumped to refresh the pistes. The resort is generally well-connected, allowing you to easily reach new areas to explore - otherwise, they have frequent shuttle buses that go between major stops around the resort.

The town is very walkable and has a decent range of dining options both on and off piste throughout the day and to kick back après ski.

Overall, it's a great resort with lots to offer for beginners and experts alike!
It's a great ski area when there is snow. Only gripe is that the lift company has closed quite a few lifts and runs just to save money this year. Seems odd there is no discount for buying multiple days on the lift pass
Can you imagine a place where you can spend your holidays and don’t need to worry about commuting because you have everything in just one place? This is ClubMed. I spend my last weekend at Grand Massif and the experience was nothing but extraordinary. In the resort, you can enjoy the sauna, pool, gym, and stretching classes, or if you are a night person you will also love the aperitivo time just before dinner and end up the night having fun in a real nightclub.
The food is incredible from breakfast to dinner and the cocktails are precisely made just in front of you to complete the gastronomy experience.
Nothing mentioned above would be possible without the incredible and refined customer service provided by the resort’s staff, in special Joely and Axel that provided the best support and made us feel especially welcome, and Glauco one of the most skilled and kind bartenders I've ever met.
Cons: The swimming pool could be less cold.
Very efficient ski resort with a large range of slopes from easy ones to very difficult ones.

Nice ski resort site. Not so well maintained common areas. No easy access for disabled people. Overall, it was quite friendly for the French standards. The price range for food and drinks not too expensive.
Club Med is no longer what it was before. Long queus at buffet, swimming pool at 26 degrees (almost no one inside), rooms cold, electric heater in bathroom not working, this during ski holiday, difficult to dry clothing, personnel disorganized and not aware what it takes. No management. Our stuff that was supposed to be safe in the locker room, was suddenly moved into the public entrance area 5 hours before the bus arrived. Great ski location and a great asset hotel but they have no clue for customer quality.
Amazing ski station with great ski runs and many other winter activities to do.

Went to les arcs for skiing. Had a great experience. The mountains have a lot of blue slopes (more for intermediates) compared to red slopes.
The valley has 3 main points: lowest level at Arcs 1600, and then 1800 and the last 1950. Heard from locals that Arcs 1950 is best place to stay and indeed is more expensive.
To reach Arcs 1600 you can go to Bourg St Maurice station and then take a funicular. If you have a ski pass then funicular is free.
In summers you can also enjoy trekking here.

A lovely place to ski. Half term week not a good idea again. Lift queues horrendous! Slopes a danger because there were loads of people! However I would visit again, not in term time. Awesome views.
Pros:
The central location, the ski school (one of the best!), the clean rooms, the young kids club.
Cons: the limited non-ski older kids and youth activities, the shows and evening events that can be better, the restaurant in the M floor that doesn’t have kids’ options, the main restaurant with boring buffet food, the tiny uncomfortable gym, the pool that could be a little less cold, and sauna that is open only in the afternoon.

If you come to learn to ski from the best experienced teachers that will also keep you safe, in a convenient club med environment, that’s the perfect choice for you.

If you come for the food, the social life, and for the entertainment, lower your expectations.
So it was a bit messy before the arrival but when we arrived: was great! Temperature at the rooms was great and warm, organisation of all activities is very well done, staff work is 5*! This facility works great.
Ski instructors : great people, especially I recommend for both kids and adults Jeoffray Ravera: a great teacher and good people!

Some improvements to be considered :
1-food, it’s correct but can be better.
2-Kids clubs I would love to get the kids schedule activities.
3- if you have small kids take a private transfer, not a big bus with everyone, tiring, waiting can be up to 1 hour.
Sadly it was so disappointing! Guest relations poor with very little attention to individuals. Massive hotel, feels a bit like a guest factory. Amazing location, but lacked a lot of the little touches that make a holiday memorable and special. Food was also sub average. Probably best for big groups and families with young children. Won’t be going back again.
Amazing ski resort it is super big and easy to get to and from places, it is separated into multiple towns which is nice.
The towns are super nice and have everything you need!
It is well taken care of.
We visited Club Med Grand Massif with our 2 daughters (ages 6 & 9).
It was their very first time skiing and being on snowy slopes, which was quite challenging to them. Especially since they don’t speak French nor proper English.

We want to express our Huge gratitude and appreciation to the most wonderful, kind, friendly, funny and attentive GO in the kids club TIN TIN - nicknamed “the crazy unicorn”!!!
Tin Tin made a huge difference to our total experience and the Club Med should feel very lucky to have such an amazing talent!
He has an amazing approach & always made our daughters laugh and feel special.

As for the hotel, one important note, take under consideration that the heating is insufficient. It can get really cold in the room and the front desk cannot assist since they claim the the law in France is restricting the temperature to up to 19 degrees Celsius.
The mattresses and cushions aren’t indulging to say the least but hard as stone..
other than that we had an enjoyable stay!

Thanks again Tin Tin, you are the BEST!!!
Lir and Emma miss you a lot :-)

Fantastic resort! Ski in and ski out with a huge range of runs to cater for all levels. Excellent self catering accommodation is a home away from home with beautiful panoramic views of the resort.
The altitude is perfect and snow preparation was great.
However there are no numbers for the slopes, so it was very difficult to find the right route.

Nice little town most restaurants and a bars are very good but a little spread out wound the town
Family place . Easy acces to slopes. New and well equiped appartments and services. No night life if that is what you are looking for .
When there's snow, very good place to ski as part of the Grand Massif ski site. The parking is big and easy to reach. There's rental and a bakery next to the parking. The lifts are good and fast. There is one main lifts to the top and if there's a problem, no way to go to the rest of the site. The ESF instructors are great as usual. There's a good restaurant next to the lift with a big selection for lunch.

Love its incredible view of the Alps. The resort provides a great variety of slopes and restaurants in general are good (though usually overpriced). Can’t give it five stars because of its ridiculous shuttle between villages. If you missed your last lift back to the side of your village, expect to spend 2 or more hours waiting for/standing in a crowded shuttle bus. Not a good skiing experience at all.
Great ski area , lift ticket prices are very high this year, and not all the runs and lifts are open . A lower priced ticket for periods when lifts are not open would be nice
Slow cable car, went in summer. Slowness put me off winter visit.
Nice alpine village, quieter than other resorts but well connected and cheaper than other surrounding resorts
Slow lift but plenty of space at the bottom. We went in summer, not sure about winter for skiing?

Kind of OK. No instruction on how to get in. Strange low ceiling bedroom up a ladder. Nowhere to eat in the locale so had to travel to the next village for food.
Beautiful landscape and sweet people who will help you if you fall while skiing. Very nice place
Sunny sky, snow on the ground and a feeling of pure freedom!
Flaine and the surrounding villages offer really good variety. Some challenging blues and steep red runs. Weather was extremely hot when we went, ideally the resort needed a little more snow cannon use than we got but overall it was a great resort. A somewhat hidden gem, would highly recommend
Great variety of slopes for all ability levels. The food available at Samoens 1600 is absolutely fantastic. We hired some equipment from the Roland shop there as well as a locker for stashing our stuff in. Went in very early March and while it hadn't snowed for a few days before the slopes were very much boardable.
A very lovely and small ski town, very friendly people too.
Beautiful ski resort with very nice slopes.
I have to give this resort a 3 star rating because it's how I am finding it. I'm an intermediate ability skier, so have found the steepness of the blue runs very challenging and frightening. I'm comparing with Les Arc, which has been my go to resort for the past 4 years. A blue here would be a red there. There are green runs here, but to get to them from Samoens is a real mission and not really possible for the people who need them to improve. If you are a competent skier, then this is a 5 star resort. If you are not, I would try somewhere else. Just my opinion, but I wouldn't want anyone to spend a lot of money on their holiday and not enjoy it, or worse still get injured.

We visited this town in September when it was nice and hot. There are some good bars and restaurants
Great place for skiing or snowboarding. Plenty of different routes to choose from. Suitable for beginners and experts. Ski rental shops are close to the cabin lifts. Free bus going up down every few minutes. As you can see from photos, the views are amazing too!
Good ski area with ample number of runs for beginners. Majority of lifts are high-speed quad or six-seater chairs. Stick to the Morillon and Caroz side of the mountain to stay away from the biggest crowds. Ski shuttle bus runs between all the main lift points. If snow coverage is lacking you will need to download at the end of the day however.
we were there in august. this resort is really amazing free parking, the lift pass was 10 euros for all day and covered val d'isere. the pass also allows other activities. we used the cable cars to explore the mountains.

Best Ski Hotel visited so far. Situated on the mountain so you can ski straight out and down the hill. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good is amazing at all mealtimes and there's always a 'welcome back from the slopes' party at the ski in entrance at lunch time. The "Cascades" slope is fantastic and takes you through and unseen part of the resort and even access to the excellent restaurant by the lake if you're willing to take a short ride on a snowmobile. The lifts are generally good quality, although they tend to get crowded at times, especially right after lunch.

The usual club med awards ceremony for all the kids at the end of the week was a big fun event.

The number of kids wearing Armani is something I've not seen before.

Would definitely come here again.
Paragliding, Skiing, Camping, Swimming, chilling. Best Place in France Alps
Brilliant place to spend a week downhill mountain biking. Loads to do as well off the bike with the mytignes card all for free. Great for families to come away in the summer, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, pedalos, swimming pool, tennis, football etc. Plus a ton of walking trails all with free lift access.

Parking readily available despite easter weekend...however french schools were not yet off
Good resort but quite overpriced, it has little to offer by itself and it can be quite tedious to get to other resorts in the Massif area so Flaine offers better value for money. Also, if you stay at 1600 like we did, there are very limited options for apres-ski, it's a very small place. Having said that, the views are great, there are a few decent runs and it is quite good for beginners. Accomodation is also good value for the Alps!

Great car park well managed, fills quickly on busy 'sunny' days.
Simply the best ski area in France, great lifts with few waiting times en perfectly prepared slopes.
Great resort to ski, generally good solid snow cover and whilst it does get busy there is ample room for everyone to spread out. Longest wait for a chair lift is about 6 minutes in peak times.

Oh god, don't go up here. 7 euros each, for children too. When you get to the top is a miserable Club Med building site with nothing open. The view is OK but there isn't really anything to do when you are up here. Probably pretty good for extreme mountain biking, judging by some heavily kitted out gritty type dudes.
Excellent resort, right on the Spring snow line, but with excellent shuttle buses all day long to Tignes 2100. Amazing scenery, expansive ski area, varied options for accomodation and food

Lift that gives you the opportunity to travel between Les Arcs 2000 and Les Arcs 1950. A lot faster than taking the bus :-)...
Super domaine
Malheureusement je n'ai pas de photo. Mais cest surper. Un peu cher a mon goût mais ce n'est pas l'excès.
