located near our accom, this was our go to bakery, the staff were friendly and helpful, the baguettes were cooked to perfection, we succumbed to the treats more than once which were awesome value, (cheapest we had seen in Paris), and tasty.
Really delicious! We only had less than an hour and the waiter was very accommodating. The portions were huge for the ‘menu’
We got 3 mini ice cream balls for 10,5. they look perfect and very yummy! Unexpected filling that’s brings additional flavor. Shop has minimal seating and quite cramped. Needed to repeat orders to staff several times before receiving the items.
We tried 3 small pieces (chocolate, mango and pistachio) for 10,5€. Chocolate and mango were amazing and definitely worth the money.

Berthillon is an old famous ice cream shop. Tried fig and chocolate sorbet for 6.5€. I think it’s better to take away the ice cream and enjoy it outside rather than in the shop. Fruit sorbet was too sweet for me I didn’t find its flavor natural, but chocolate one was good. Even though there is better ice cream in Marais which is near Ile Saint Louis, this place can be good to try out and see the vibe on the little island.
Great place to eat. Me,my wife and my daughter were staying in a Ibis hotel just few minutes walk. Our initial plan was to dine here once,but food was so nice that we came back next day.

A very good french restaurant in Avignon. Among a lot of french restaurants in Avignon who serve basically the same kind of Bistronomy food, Le Violette is definitely the place to try. The menu is amazing, the chef deserves stars and the owner is really friendly and recommends other adresses in Avignon and nearby.
Love this ice cream, it’s famous for a reason. We got honey nougat and speculoos but there are lots of flavor.
Heads up: There are many shops and cafes nearby that say “Berthillon” in the window because they sell the ice cream so make sure you go to the actual right place! (And not just some random cafe that carries their ice cream cream.)

This restaurant is completely different from the reviews. Even if you order two dishes with the same sauce, the staff will not follow up on you at all. Closing work begins even though customers are eating. The owner was working on his computer even though he was aware we were leaving the restaurant. For the first time, I met a shop owner who never said ``Welcome'' or ``Thank you.''

This place is normally crowded, but in terms of price and taste, it's good and convenient. Great for a casual dinner after work or sunday lunch.
I heard this is popular ice cream shop but there was not a queue when I visited in the evening on late autumn.
One scoop 3.5€ and it’s so tiny for that price.Taste is good but it’s too expensive for that taste.It could be better if there’s some cover for the containers of ice creams.Cuz i saw a staff spit unconsciously on them when they talk.

The food was good and affordable. I like it more it there’s more soup since the topping’s a lit abit salty
Viande kebab, de à broches congelé,c'est mangeable..mais pas de quoi monter au rideau, petite quantité,mais très chère pour cette petite portion,perso,j'y retournerai plus...trop habitué au broches faites maison,et des fois moins chères

The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the history of ice cream in Paris. Their signature flavor is Mango Vanilla for which the founder (David Wesmaël) won the Meilleur Ouvrier de France Glacier in 2006. I had the cheesecake and caramel flavors which were also really good 👍
Light and fluffy croissants. Fresh, soft baguettes. Friendly service, who understood my mangled French.

A beautiful restaurant set in the ambience of the Collection Lambert Avignon museum. Surrounded by plane trees in the courtyard and away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Avignon. A very attentive service. Our wine Chateau Des Tours was very tasty. We had the aubergine caviar (with garlic, but a bit bland) and Dame of Shanghai ( very good chicken salad) as starters and Argentine shrimp in coconut curry (sovereign, but not outstanding) in the main course, the crying tiger (beef with grilled potatoes with chillie mayo) was ok, slightly burnt.
Conclusion: Restaurant in a very nice ambience. Very good wine. Food so 4,5.

The ice cream shop was recommended to me by a shop assistant at a shop selling shirts. All the ice creams are delicious✨I got the Fig and salted caramel flavours with whip on top. They look pretty and the coffee was delicious! There are so many different types of ice cream that it's hard to decide 🥰

Such a great place, the food is excellent, Asian inspired and so tasty. The outdoor space is not sunny and they have high baby chairs. I recommend the eggplant as starter and main dish the zucchini.

I had churros in this lovely cafe by the place de la comédie. The cashier was very friendly and churros were very good. Very affordable also. Recommended.
Tasty Indian food. Not spicy at all but with the right flavoring. As an Indian I would recommend it to everyone who wants to try out Indian food. Very pleasant space. Outdoor seating is available. Super good service by the person who handled us.
We came in as a big group on a Sunday lunchtime and we get served fairly quickly. The food is really nice at a reasonable price here. If you are really hungry, definitely come here they will fill you up.
visited here as silly americans speaking very little french. our server was incredibly sweet and kind. the best service we had for our 5 day trip, as well as the best food! right near the 7 metro and lots of hotels. highly recommend.

We came about a half an hour before closing, expecting to be turned away especially after seeing how packed it was. But we still were treated very well even if we couldn't have a full dinner. This is a great place and a big thank you to all the staff.

Tried their food for dinner while staying in Paris. It was near my hotel so I decided to try. The ambience was a little congested but overall good.
Tried their Butter chicken with nan. The cost is high as compared with other options available in Paris. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but not exceptional as well.

We arrived around 8.30pm on a Sunday and we were second in the queue for a table. We waited for about 20 minutes for a table to be available. The first disappointment came that I kept getting attention from waiters that I’m ready to order several times but I was kept being ignored, maybe because my table is next to the window behind a pillar. The table next to us arrived after us but ordered food way before us. We waited for about 20 minutes before placing the order. The frustration is that only the owner can take the order which is the main reason why it’s so slow. When I complained this to the owner, he said:”Did you see we are very busy? Do you want to place order now or what?” He is certainly doesn’t care about losing one customer since the restaurant is so busy. He didn’t argue with me but clearly his attitude is ‘whatever’- I don’t need your business! It was well after 9pm when we ordered the food and that’s very late for a family with young child to dine out.
My first impression after seeing the menu is wow- the price is really good! So I ordered 6 dishes altogether for 3 of us (one is child). The food tastes okay but I was disappointed to find out the portion size is very small. They are all starter sizes. So I ended up ordering an extra dish after we finished all food as we weee still hungry. The last dish was supposed to be spicy duck salad but it definitely didn’t taste like duck but more like liver. I didn’t complain as it’s so late and I just want to leave. So each individual dish is quite cheap, it’s only because it’s starter portion size. Our bill at the end is about €65 for 2 adults and 1 child which isn’t cheap and we only had water. All in all, it’s somewhere I would want to return.

I made it clear to the owner that I am a chef coming from Italy on trip to Paris and I showed him a lot of Enthusiasm how much I miss good genuine Indian dinner so he assured me he is one of the best so I was fool to believe.
Chicken tikka over salted and under cooked. The lamb biriani was real disappointment, over cooked old rice lack of every taste of biriani, the only taste you will recognise is the cheap cubes of chicken broth that you buy from the supermarket.
Zero effort from the chef and very cold attitude from the owner.
I had with my companion 3 1/2 pieces of chicken tikka just to make sure we are not making a false claim but when we started what so called lamb biriani it was absolute disaster.
I have returned the food back kindly and peacefully and kept the money un-refunded to support them out of kindness hoping they will learn a lesson which I doubt.
Anyway our dinner spoiled and the nice memories in paris has been effected.

Food is fresh and amazing and the owner was very kind! Croissants super flaky.
We had to wait to get seated but it was Saturday afternoon so not the fault of the staff. They were incredibly quick at the turn around of tables and getting us seated. Menu was simple. I got the chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and it was some of the most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had. My husband got the chocolate cake and it was also great. It was a perfect treat on a warm afternoon.

The ice cream all had a lovely texture, but flavours were not as strong as I was expecting, with the exception of the passionfruit which was the stand out winner. I did like that the green tea wasn't too sweet. The shop is really nice though, and smack in the centre of Paris. Their cakes look out-of-this-world gorgeous.

Great Indian food and incredible value for the price. Tandoori was phenomenal. Garlic Naan was cooked perfect. Butter chicken curry was on point. Mango Lassi was fire!
The server was super kind with a nice smile. They mostly get online orders, so the place was quiet and not crowded, which actually adds to the experience for us. It's like we have the whole place to ourselves.

More low-key and certainly less busy than the bright bakery just up the street, but good none the less. Very nice bread!

The waiter said he would bring my change quickly. He didn't and proceeded with attending other customers. I reminded him to do it as I was in a hurry. He didn't like it and finally brought me my change in 5c and 10c coins.

Excellent choix. Menu à 15€ avec entrée, plat , dessert, café et vin rouge ou rosé, c’est exceptionnel aujourd’hui. Et en plus, c’est bon ! Le tout dans une ambiance presque familiale. Si l’occasion nous est donnée, nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

My favorite Lao/Vietnamese restaurant in Paris. We always try to come here at least once every time we are in Paris. There is always a long line. My uncle dines here frequently. We waited a good 30 minutes this time around. We were pretty hungry by the time the food arrived. Because everything is freaking delicious I am not even going to give ratings. We ordered:

We finished all of it! Portions are smaller than in the states but quality is excellent. Be ready to wait in line!

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, insbesondere wenn man bedenkt: man ist in Avignon.. der Touristenstadt. Das Essen war gut und der Service freundlich. Die Portionen sind Recht klein. Eine Ort der Ruhe in dem überlaufen Ort. Kleiner Tip zum Abendessen: Villeneuve mit wunderschönen Blick auf Avignon.

I have visited this place today (17th July 2022) with my wife. Unfortunately they have behaved vary badly because we did not like their mojito cocktail. They brought back twice and bring same one at the end one of the French guy brought the mojito and he has knock the glass on the table very hardly and he was so nervous and I have called him and I told him that you can not behave like this, I am the customer. He has suddenly changed his language to French and I told him please speak in English and what a pity that he said you are in France and you must speak in French than he left. I did not stay over there and I paid their money. I understand that he does not like tourists in their bars but he likes to get money from the tourist. I recommend that if you are not French you must not go his bar.

The only nice thing about the place is the view. I had a tea and a cappuccino. Honestly, I never thought is possible to screw up a tea… and the cappuccino never saw the coffee beans probably…

Many options that I wanted were unavaible, but the Glace i ordered was ok. Less tasty and more expensive, like the other places on place de comedie.

Patronized this establishment based on the reviews but thought I should set the record straight. The staff was not friendly, unmasked, and the pastries weren’t fresh at 9am in the morning. Disappointed!

Pretty awesome ice cream and a really nice store. The Mango-Vanilla flavor is excellent, and evidently of high quality as visible by the vanilla bean specks. The pistachio flavor on the other hand had a taste of almond extract (benzaldehyde) which was not desirable. Either way the base texture of the various flavors are excellent and still a great stop for ice cream on a sunny day!
Inexpensive yet excellent pastries! We stumbled across this shop by accident and it became our favorite snack stop in Paris. They have a wide variety of items salty and sweet, we settled on a strawberry tart and slice of apricot flan. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and the store has a great atmosphere.

My family had a wonderful lunch here today sitting outside. Service was efficient and friendly. We were the only Americans. Mostly locals here. Their plate of the day was roasted chicken falling off the bone with delish mashed potatoes. The green curry was beautifully presented and yummy. The quinoa salad with avocado, pomegranate seeds and a light dressing was another winner. Prices were reasonable but not cheap. We paid about 14 euro per entree. Worth it for a relaxing, wonderful lunch. We are already planning to go back while we are here.
The restaurant is located a bit far off the Chinese district per se. This joint offers some tasty Lao/Thai (and Vietnamese) dishes! The service staff is reactive, accommodating and very efficient, especially during rush hour. Expect to wait a bit (take-away service is also proposed). It would be tough to suggest one dish above all as we didn't have any bad experience for the past 5 years. We would suggest to go for egg noodles (mentioned in the House Specialities): you won't be disappointed by the quality (and quantity).
My tip: Salads are worth a try, especially the chicken feet one. Don't forget to adjust the spice level while ordering!

The crepe is ok, the coffee in the picture supposed to be a cappuccino (I mean come on?), of which the chocolate powder on top tasted salty. The the weird policy that coffee is more expensive after 6pm (what?), that Pepsi is brought in a Bacardi glass (you kinds pay for presentation here as well), and the waiter was incredibly impatient and showed it. Very rude. He also tipped himself one euro, even announced it, and got the crepes wrong. And the crepes weren't anything special either.
The one star more because this is partially a waiter problem, and the location is really nice. But there are other Cafés there too - maybe go there instead!
