My husband and I enjoyed a private wine tasting and tour with the owner and winemaker. Her hospitality and generosity made this a very special experience for us. The wines are thoughtful, elegant, and delicious. We won’t forget our visit and hope to drink the wines of Domaine de la Palud for years to come!

La cave voutée ventilée pour éviter trop de problèmes d'humidité et de salpetre séparée de la partie restauration, l'épaisseur des murs en pierre font un charme indéniable.
Les espaces sont bien agencés et permettent aux invités de se sentir comme chez eux.

Le domaine était tout à fait adapté à notre mariage, situé dans un cadre magnifique, au milieu de vignes.
Laurent est très agréable, arrangeant et disponible. Il a été de très bon conseil concernant le traiteur, la brasserie artisanale à proximité, l'organisation du mariage au global.

Great wine tasting, beautiful chateau and views. You have to book if you want to eat at the restaurant even if you have bought the 22 Euro ticket.

Very interesting exposition obout wine production. Castle really beautifull from outside, located on top of hill with great views on wineyards. Inside family history and some expositions, quite spartan. Several times per day progamm of different venues. Degustation of wines, as well as nice shop of own and regional wines, local specialities. Staff very kind, all spoke also English.

Stunning Chateau beautifully maintained and amazing views in the direction of Bergerac. Lots of history to read inside, but a lot of the rooms bare (some strange art) and not very much to engage younger children (make your own wine label, but only 1 screen worked)
The museum was very interesting in how it was laid out and taking you through the process of wine making.
The wine tasting was good, given in French and English for the various visitors, the wines themselves ok, nothing we wanted to personally buy.
You can eat there but they were 'full' apparently so we couldn't but found a very nice restaurant 2 min walk away (Le Semillon)

Really lovely tour and wine tasting around Chateau Monbazillac. Friendly staff and easily accessible in English too. They have a small cafe there too, can easily spend 1-1.5hrs there.

Très beau lieu. Mais la magie opère lorsque vous êtes en présence du propriétaire. Ce dernier est un véritable amoureux du vin. Il sait vous en parler avec élégance et passion.

Had a fantastic time with family here today. Lots to see and experience in this beautiful place. We absolutely loved the wine tasting with Marie, she was so knowledgeable and we had a great laugh with her! Would definitely recommend!
Very nice, well organized chataeu. The explanations on the special process they use in winemaking is very well done. The Chateau and it's surrounding is beautiful for.a.walk. We found the expedition inside.the Caste not really interesting.
Quand on a tout testé de la sélection Nicolas, au fil des années on se lasse, franchement vous nous faites plus rêver avec vos vieux principes "rouge ou blanc " pour répondre à une affinité mets et vins... heureusement la nouvelle génération Nicolas arrive... Riwel est l'un de ces champions, qui réinvente le plaisir de découvrir un service client impeccable et une vraie expertise de nouvelles découvertes. Rdv 65 avenue Paul doumer vous ne serez pas déçu !
Dear Geraldine, we’re thanking you very much for introducing us to the Champagne region and to the intricacies of Champagne making. We absolutely loved our visit to La Maison de Penet and found it very informative as well as personal. The tour of Ruinart was very interesting, but in a different way. Seeing the caves was something we will never forget.
May we also thank you for recommending Maison Les Crayeres for my birthday meal? Having travelled the world intensely and having stayed in most beautiful hotels we can now say that it definitely topped our list! Not only the meal was amazing, the hospitality of that place was unbelievable! We have a full intention to return and use your services again.

Well worth a visit. For €15 entry we got to see the interactive wine museum which was very interesting, wine tasting including 3 wines (and the glasses to take home), and access to see the chateu which was nice. The views were lovely. Definitely one of the better things to do in the area and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Très joli domaine pour l’organisation de notre mariage. La vue sur les vignes était superbe pour la cérémonie laïque. Pour 100 invités, Tables rondes et rectangulaires sont disponibles. Des chaises pour l’intérieur et l’extérieur aussi. Le propriétaire est très sympa et serviable.
Great place for tasting. They stock different wines from different producers. Khadija was lovely and opened a few bottles for us to try. Would happily go back!
Bonjour, château, belle demeure, situé entre Ménétréol et Sancerre, c'est avant tout un domaine viticole réputé, clichés d'été et d'automne.

Très bons produits. L'assemblage des vins est précis et subtil, mettant en avant les arômes et le fruit, sans forcer sur la puissance et la sensation éthylique, très présents dans notre chaude région.

An excellent place to visit, whether you are keen to learn about Duras and its wines (the exhibition on the mezzanine is an education, as is the walk round the garden of vines), or a seasoned taster wanting to explore more.
There is always a selection of wines on dégustation, and well over 100 cuvées (possibly nearer 200) on the shelves to choose from when buying.
The wine on sale is at the same price as from the producer - you can save a lot of travelling!
Lovely spots in picnic in the shade of vines, so if you're holidaying in the area, make this a must for a day out😊

Mariés le 29 Août 2020 au domaine des sources, nous avons été conquis dés la première visite par le charme du lieu qui allie les Pierres dorées, les vignes, le béton ciré et que dire du caveau avec son magnifique éclairage central. Le domaine a du cachet et tous nos invités ont été enchantés ! Laurent - le propriétaire des lieux a été bienveillant et sympathique, tantôt voiturier pour aider les invités à se garer, tantôt aidant pour installer la tireuse à bières, il a fait preuve de compréhension et surtout de souplesse tout au long de nos préparatifs (je ne compte pas le nombre d'appels..!) et le jour J. Le vrai plus est d'avoir pu disposer du domaine le jour d'avant afin de pouvoir tout préparer dans la sérénité !!

Geraldine is delightful and extremely knowledgeable about the wine and foods of the eastern Loire (Sancerre, Pouilly). She also has a great depth of understanding around the intricacies of wine making and the various regional particularities of each classic French region (Loire, Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone). She's incredibly warm, patient, and a great teacher. She took our group of three from Paris to Sancerre and served as our ambassador, translator, and good company throughout. We look forward to our next visit and regional tour with her.
