A beautiful vintage-restored place, Includes a cinema, a large café, an open art gallery, independent art and gift shops, a very good (and expensive) bakery and a chocolate shop. There is a book corner and a few comfy chairs righr nextcto it and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Also, there are public toilets, a lot of parking and a famous ice cream shop. It's within a short walking distance to the town centre, so it's a good parking option (£3 for 4 hours!) on a visit to Richmond. You can take a walking trail some of them start here), enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river Swale, climb up to the town centre (300 meters away), have lunch and then climb down to the carpark, buy a beautiful piece of arr/craft made by a local artist (very reasonable prices) and return home. A perfect day!

Quiet when we arrived at about 3.40pm. We were shown to our table. We just wanted tea, coffee and scone and tray bake. All very nice. Lovely historic location. Nice gallery of artwork. Cinema in same building. Swimming pool adjacent and lovely walks. Maximum stay in car park is 4 hours, recent price increase. Internal photo and some of Easby Abbey which is a walk away.

Whilst I agree with preserving local buildings for future generations. I don't agree with over charging. We had a couple of bits of cake and drinks and it came to almost £30. Basically the same price as other local businesses that aren't charities, so not sure why the prices in the bar / restaurant ast so high. It's completely excluding people and simply catering for a lot of holiday home owners who visit the area.

Whilst the service was excellent and the cakes were nice. I think the pricing really needs to be addressed, there is not even discount for permanent local residents.

Really disappointed with the unprofessional behaviour of the staff. Having travelled extensively and teach personal development, I’ve never come across a cafe with such miserable staff who speak to me as though I’m a stranger each time I come in.

It’s deeply unpleasant.

It’s a shame as the Station is a beautiful place to visit and dine at.

If the staff are that unhappy, they should leave and not make it an unpleasant experience for those who are visiting.

One manager particular today was incredibly rude to me. She left me waiting and forgot to serve me a week ago with every other member of staff passing me by without even so much as a hello. I decided to leave in the end.

I never received an apology the next time I visited (today), instead she was incredibly rude to me. As a woman in my 50’s, I won’t tolerate this disrespect and won’t be visiting again. The place is beautiful, the staff in the restaurant are mostly unpleasant. Not one smile ever..apart from this particular manager very childishly jumping up and down at the counter in delight as she shared with the other member of staff about my upset.. Spiteful woman. Time for change.

First time eating at the station bistro and would definitely return and highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed. Shelly served us tonight and was lovely, friendly helpful and professional. Real chunky chips were amazing!! We had pizza a side, glass of wine & coffees. I look forward to returning soon.
My son has attended All the Arts for 10 years. We sent him as he was so shy and wanted to give him confidence. All the Arts has certainly done that and last week he received news that he has been accepted for Drama college. We love watching him in all his performances in so many different theatres and love the friendships he has made. I cannot thank the teachers enough for all their hard work and the opportunities they have given my son xx
My daughter absolutely love attending ATA. The teachers are all amazing and build every child to the best they can be. So much fun and love in the school. Thank you all
This is a fabulous place. The staff are very good and caring. My kids have been going there for about 8 years now and it’s like a second home to them.
My son was a very shy toddler, but as Lucy and the team are so encouraging and great with the kids, he has grown in confidence. He played the main role in one of the plays for the concert. We would never have thought it possible given that he used to be so shy. All credit to Lucy and the Team..
ATA is a great place for kids where they thrive. I simply can’t praise them enough.

I had a ballet course here today which I really enjoyed. Thank you for all the ideas that you gave us teachers for dance in the primary curriculum! Watching the students dance was a real highlight!

There are so many good food options here. A very nice cafe, a bakery, and an ice cream shop!

The cafe is open for lunch and dinner (not sure about breakfast). Their food is very good and they have great service.

There are free public toilets inside that are very well maintained.

The ice cream shop and bakery also make very high quality desserts!

Oh and it’s also a cinema!

After watching the documentary on BBC 1 tonight, it’s disgusting the way young children / adults were / still are being treated - to see people stand up and speak out against the bullies is heroic act and takes courage.
Change is needed!! Needs shutting down!

Shocking reading the BBC article on how your teachers body shame students.
Cannot recommend All The Arts enough! My eldest daughter has been going for four years and it has made her passionate about performing. Our main goal was to instil confidence in her from a young age which it has definitely done but it has become so much more to her. Our younger daughter has been attending for 2.5 years. She is more timid in nature but the amazing staff at ATA have helped build her confidence and she now enjoys performing too. If you’re looking for a friendly and enjoyable environment for your child, look no further!

Jane Ellis drawings there today were brilliant on mezzanine gallery (Artist from Reeth). Check out her work! We show there next year as The Art Crowd, Northallerton! Excited. Wonderful bakery, Goosewings jewellery is a lovely side studio, ice cream parlour, brewery, and lovely cinema! Not forgetting cafe and also gallery shop! There is a beautiful woodland walk too. A bit soggy today though
My daughters have flourished since joining BSPA 2 years ago. The creative team are all extremely talented and experienced professionals who nurture their students' love of theatre in a friendly and inclusive environment. There are a variety of classes available, as well as private singing and music lessons. The annual musical, which is performed to a very high standard, also gives the children an opportunity to audition in front of a panel of industry professionals. There are also many other opportunities to perform locally throughout the year. They also have an annual summer school which is loads of fun and gives some of the London theatre summer schools a run for their money! Parking is also very easy, which is a plus. All in all, BSPA is a fantastic stage school that enables your child to reach their full potential - we love it!
8 years of BSPA in two locations. My son has gone from boy to man through the care of the school. Especially through lockdown when the one to one singing lessons with Miss Amanda were the highlight of the week. The last two big shows - Adam’s family and Legally Blonde were amazing and the children had so much fun.
I would definitely recommend BSPA. My daughter is a student there. She absolutely loves it. She has been enrolled since it moved location to Warmley. It is so convenient and parking is very easy.
Amanda, Sam, Sophie and Chloe are brilliant teachers. They have really increased her confidence and ability in acting and singing.
She has private singing lessons with Amanda who has increased her range and repertoire, and has just started piano lessons with Chloe, which she is really enjoying.
Our daughter has been attending All The Arts Theatre School for 7 years. It is one of the best opportunities I have given my child. She absolutely loves going every week. Not only has she gained so much confidence but has made some wonderful friendships. All of the teaching team are AMAZING and very nurturing. I couldn't recommend this theatre school highly enough :)
All The Arts is a fantastic theatre school and my son has such a wonderful time there. There are so many opportunities available for the children to shine from shows and performances at prestigious venues to being able to undertake IDTA and LAMDA exams.
They also have a fantastic casting agency that also offers up many opportunities for the children to audition and if successful appear in a wide range of media outlets. The team are very supportive of the children and I get so much enjoyment from watching the excitement and joy in my son's face when watching him perform.
I would highly recommend ATA ⭐

A fantastic organisation in the world of ballet helping many young people achieve their dreams it is an honour to support this company in their achievements - They have a friendship membership which anyone can join for £50 a year & a shop, which I have just purchased two Royal Ballet School T - shirts!
My daughter absolutely loves all her classes at AAPA. This is her second home as she is there nearly every day. She has been given so many varied and fabulous opportunities to perform and grow. She was already quite a confident person, but she has really blossomed since joining AAPA, and her skills have developed greatly as the teachers are all amazing. Friendship is another important aspect of AAPA life. All the kids have a shared love for dance and performing so they’ve got this close-knit bond which is amazing to see! 🥰
My daughters love being part of the AAPA family. They have been given so much opportunities including preforming on stage regularly, attending workshops, taking part in the Aberdeen Christmas parade, social activities with friends and even travelling and performing throughout Scotland, Birmingham and Disneyland Paris. AAPA is a safe, friendly, positive place for children to learn, grow and be who they want to be. The staff are supportive, encouraging and welcoming. If you are thinking of joining the AAPA family… do it!
My 4 year old boy loved performing so we trialled him at Mini Musical Theatre at AAPA, he cried when it was time to leave, he didn't want to come home. Four years on he is still there, he has went from 1 to 7 classes a week and wants to do more. I love how he himself has chosen to do exams and competitions, his confidence has soared. He truly has found his second home.
Amazing dance studio, a great range of different dance styles that you can choose from. My daughter has been going there for years and would always recommend aapa. There is lots of different opportunitys for the children to do. The staff and all of the other children are all welcoming and are always willing to help.
Daughters been coming here for a few years now and she absolutely loves it, staff and teachers are absolutely brilliant

Went into the station for lunch, 1st time going in to eat but pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food. We ordered egg/mayo sandwich, and expected it to come on small plate but it came with side salad and crisps ,our coffee was a treat far better than any other coffee shops. Went for a walk along side river swale underneath the canopy of trees
I highly recommend ATA. My daughter has been attending for a few years now and she loves it. I have noticed her grow in confidence, which was my original reason for encouraging her to go. The lessons seem a lot of fun whilst also teaching the kids valuable skills. Having recently watched a performance at the O2, it was clearly visible just how much hard work Lucy and the team put in. We were blown away with how polished and professional the children came across and they all seemed to be enjoying it so much!

Fantastic facilities specifically for elite training for the future generations of classical ballet dancers. Beautiful studios and space for special dancers.
My daughter has been with ATA for just under a year now and she has loved every minute since she has been there. During a very difficult year the teachers have been very supportive and adapted when they needed to, so that children were able to do their classes and make Zoom calls fun! In just under a year my daughter has had the opportunity to take exams both IDTA & LAMDA with more to come this year as well as performing opportunities. She has absolutely loved all the holiday courses she has done and they have amazing opportunities to work with those already in the industry in these classes.
Lucy and all of the teachers are incredible and look to bring out the best in all the children. I've definitely seen my daughters confidence grow since she has started. Highly recommended ATA and only wish I had found them sooner!

My daughter has been studying dance here for a number of years and takes classes in ballet, modern contemporary and jazz. Her younger brother also takes boys hip hop. They both really enjoy the classes and the teachers are energetic and engaging. It can be very crowded as classes change but it is a popular school. My wife and I look forward to the shows that are performed every three years.
Great performing arts school. My kid is happy.
This place is amazing x I go here and I have learned so much from this place x truly truly amazing place to have fun and learn about performing xxx 💕
Dance studio giving quality tuition, but in need of decoration and heating
BSPA is absolutely fantastic. They have given my daughter enormous confidence over the last few years, and are FAR better than Stagecoach in my opinion. My daughter is now involved with Choir, as well as performances, and will be appearing in a well known production in a Weston Theatre soon. I am grateful to all those that have supported and encouraged my daughter, and the support she gets from other children is superb.
I love attending the shows and watching the children perform, they are really professional, and I can honestly say I feel proud to be a parent here.
A great ballet school and an encore dibble opportunity for children to express themselves in the performing arts however I very much disagree that to get in you don't just need to be an exdrordanary dancer but also your bodies is an impact on wether you get in or not as you almost need to be anorexic to peform with the "perfect body ". I believe children do not need to be inspired to be this barbie doll like figure and teens do not need this criticism which is makeing teens go home and hardly eat to live up to there standards
