Easy parking for many shops. Though it can be very busy at times
Lots of parking space. Lots of frozen food to choose from at very reasonable prices. They also sell lots of groceries that are nit frozen too.
I often visit for lunch while at work for the hot counter which is comparatively good with plenty of choices. However, when I’ve picked up fresh food on special offer, it hasn’t been fresh e.g. fruit. I have found maggots growing on a lamb leg on special, also. It seems dimly lit and absolutely rammed making it feel claustrophobic. The staff seem run down and fed up and it takes ages to check out. Tried doing a shortcut with my two lunch items at the tobacco counter but people were using it as a customer service point and taking a long time to have issues sorted.
A modern large store with free parking.well stocked and with all the bargains you would expect.
Be careful when buying Indian masala powder as most of it is out-of-date. Check the expiration date before making a purchase.
Always good range of new items and well stocked with essential household food and cleaning products at great prices. Staff always helpful with finding items when I can't reach high shelves 😁

No self check out service.only 2cashiers so it’s long queues.the cashier scan twice one of my item I just seen when I reached home.she asked me even do I need a receipt but of course for 1item can’t go back so need to be careful next time .

I love Asda but thier cigarette counter is so time consuming it took 15 minutes to buy cigarette papers it should be cigarettes and daily papers only not baskets full of shopping.get it sorted.

A new store, but built with no self checkout tills. So I, with my 3 items, was stuck behind someone with their monthly shop. Why didn't I use another till? There was only one other till open and that looked to have a two monthly shop.

High prices. Choice of food is alright (better than the Asda down the road) but it’s jus too expensive these days plus they do a time slot for people with mental health but it’s always too dark and quiet for my mental health which really stresses me out so I can only nip in for things. Not that I’d do a full shop on 9 anyway as I’m not rockerfella.
Needed milk phew! Lucky they had plenty, large fresh chickens good price my cat eats one every week.

We had so far 2 very unfortunate situations in this shop that showed us that some of the staff in here needs more training. First time Casper refused to let us by a bottle of wine as he insisted I look under age when I clearly look in my 30s and refused my partner too to by it, him having his ID, saying that he saw him earlier with someone who looked under age. And everytime I by steak the alarm start beeping and security check are so suspicious that makes me feel like a criminal. I doubt its customer s fault that you alarm system is so bad and also the fact that your self checkuts tills DO NOT PROVIDE RECIPES for when you scan the Lidl App. I definitely had enough and I'll stop using Lidl for good.
Ilive in high wycombe. I went there 2 weeks ago only for Indian food (frozen fish) and vegetables (Sojne danta, mocha, ool etc), worship things ....I got all things which I need...

Second time shopping here , clean , easy to navigate , great to do non brand shop to save money , still lacks in some products unless I just couldn't find them . Do great fruit and veg boxes fresh each morning of produce that has unpacked etc , all a couple of pounds and looked really decent . Will defo look there first next time , car park stress free .

Hi all, Always ask for a bill from this shop and carefully read it. This old lady / owner belives in duplicate charging and will intentionally do it. If it happens once then it could be due to a mistake but not everytime.
Scanning machine will have different price of an item than the price tag.
An example - bought two haldiram boondis with £1.29 tag on it. She charged 3 * £1.99. Couldn't belive it. What a rip off.

Good selection of food . I loved the choice of ice cream they have.
Shop floor and product selection is decent, but customer service in this branch absolutely lets the place down. Quite unlike the other Aldi branches I’ve visited. Staff generally behave like they don’t want to be there. Check out staff throw your items through the till scanner like they’re trying to win a race - don’t seem to care if items are being damaged in the process. Management needs to seriously consider whether this is how they want to run the business. Avoid.

Good frozen products but staff need to be a bit more careful as they sometimes hit kids with boxes when filling shelves or almost knock them over because they hold the boxes in front of their faces so they can't see where they're going
Really disappointed with the store. It's my closest but I usually opt for further away stores because of staff members. On one occasion I've gone to the tills and they had no dividers, despite telling the cashier multiple times the shopping wasn't for the same person she didn't listen and then caught an attitude when she started scanning my shopping with another customers. Then on 4 other occasions I've had the same member of staff refuse to let me use self-service checkouts for silly/lazy reasons. Yesterday was the last straw when she said I couldn't use it unless I made 2 tranactions because the shopping wouldn't fit into one bag. Funny that, other stores just allow you to add/swap a new bag when it's full.
Can be pricey, but can always find some good deals if you have a good look about, always good for selections of pizza, and variety of chips/fries and table sauces that can't be found in other stores.
Can only afford to give two stars after today’s experience of queuing for almost 15mins! After work rush means shops are usually busy and they had only two check-outs opened. Also they don’t have sef serving check outs. I kind of regretted going there. I could have been out in 10 if i had gone to Lidl which is only next door.

The staff at this store is so rude it's amazing. it's like you, as a customer, are in the way of their day. when taking my order the woman at the till was so impatient as though she thought she had better things to do than take my money. After waiting an hour the food arrived, and the lady (a different one) apologized for the wait and we said it was ok. So then I went to get some tea and sat down and the woman who had taken my order at the till stormed over to our table and screamed we hadn't paid for the tea for all the cafe to hear. Luckily I'd saved my receipt and she had to back off.

Busy retail outlet due to location. Does not always have what I require, so it's fortunate there are other supermarkets locally. Handy store for picking up a few small items.
Very clean and tidy store. Great range of goods for a supermarket at reasonable prices. Ques are never a issue as I can get out reasonably quick compared to the other supermarkets in the area.
Good shopping, can get a bit snarled up at times when busy especially at checkouts when one checkout open, otherwise an outstanding shopping experience

Firstly, self checkout people are always distracted. Secondly there is always batching going on and thirdly, it is filled with amazon eelovery drivers who take up the family parking spaces despite not having kids.......

My only problem was I had brought some items from M&S. At the tills, I moved a bag of crisp from the M&S bag to my handbag so they wouldn't get crushed by items I was about to purchase. The man behind the Aldi till was so rude and asked to see what was in both bags. I don't mind him checking. It was the way he went about it - his attitude. I thought innocent until proven guilty was a fact. I asked him if it was because I moved the crisps to my handbag. He refused to answer. Surely why would I move it when he and the customers behind me could see my actions.

Thanks so much to molly ( hope i spelled it right ) who was an absolute star last night... We had a big shop with loads of small items which would have been a nightmare to self serve.. We asked if it was possible to put on a till to ring us up to save time and epic amounts of frustration.. She put on a till and sorted us out.. So incredibly pleased by this i had to write this review. Thanks so much Molly, despite you winning the "Grand Total", guessing game. It's an Aldi store like most others, spoilt by the complete apathy towards people with disabilities in the car park, with the usual response, and I quote 'we expect our customers to respect the blue badge bay'. Might help if you put up signs and painted the bays the same as you managed to do for 'Click and Collect ' call me a cynic, but I do believe that short term profit is the motivation???
Absolutely pathetic staff and pathetic managers, I recently purchased daawat extra long basmati rice 5 kg bag and the product is not basmati, could be one odd bag with faulty product and went to return, the manager whose name is Nalayani started arguing that you don't know how the basmati rice look like, she has no customer service experience, I don't know how she has been doing what she is doing, she asked me to approach the manufacturer, if I have to approach the manufacturer then why this store is selling the products, I would highly recommended not to buy products from this store, there are better stores in reading area who has best in class customer service and excellent products. I have returned the bag but she didn't offer the refund or exchange which is fine as I won't visit the store anymore
My family and I went to Aldi Purley Way 30/04/2023 for the first time because another shop was closed. I was carrying my shopping trolley. However when we approached the checkout the staff asked to look inside my shopping trolley. It was not explained to us why she wanted to look into my trolley. If it is Aldi’s policy to look into every customer shopping bags to see if customers are stealing then a notice of the policy should be in writing on the front door. Aldi need to hire more security guards to carry out bag and trolley searches.
I have been to a lot of supermarkets and have never have my trolley checked at the checkout. I am very disappointed and upset with Aldi Purley Way actions and the way my family and I were treated and we will never shop in Aldi Purley Way again.

Small but good store. Sadly I was overcharged for some items that I need to return. The checkout operator was too busy chatting to be a friendly face. Hmm 🤔
There is an older gentleman who works on tills , was very happy to be working. His name was Dave. He made shopping actually enjoyable. 😀
While checking out my wife Marjorie let go of the shopping bag and a bottle of red wine broke. Even worse, as she tried pick up she sustained a cut to her hand. The response from your staff was amazing.Especially Kirstie who helped getting the cleaner and some medical help. We both thank you.
Harassment at the door. Disgusting they allow sales people at the front of their store. Literally chasing after people to say "you look friendly", "quick question for you" completely disregarding customers replying with "no thanks" or "I'm busy". I saw this happening to many different customers in a row. What a nightmare for customers with social anxiety. Is a put off. There is a time and a place for sales.
I always complain when they get home, Where am I going to put all this food? A freezer bursting, value for money, monthly shop.
Iceland - great place to shop! They tend to have most items that I need. The Croydon branch is located in a street market (Surrey street) which makes it convenient. Open quite late most nights (mon-sat).
Ordered delivery for saturday... didnt turn up. I had no notification or email saying it had been cancelled i had to chase up myself. Got told they would cancel the order and then i would have to put another payment on for the order again and then wait 5 days for my money back. Advised that dont have the funds to pay that amount again as it was a big shop and i cant afford to wait a week for our families food shop? Spoke with manager and arranged for next morning which didnt arrive i chased again and got told that they need to check with store and will call back at 2pm... 2:30 still no call so chased again. Told delivery will arrive between 7 and 10pm tonight. 930 i call up and advise its getting close to 10pm wheres my delivery to be told they will chase up store (store is closed on a sunday early) but they stated will call back... 10:15pm no delivery again had to chase... got told delivery wont be there and that they had cancelled my order earlier in the day anyway. I stated that they had lied to me about a delivery to which they agreed that they had made a mistake. I stated that i was unhappy with how i was treated to which was responded with and i quote "no worries its gonna be sorted"... i stated that i have worries as i have a family to support again and i want compensation... to which i was told... no compensation as they feel they havnt done anything wrong... raising with trading standards and citizens advise absolutely appauling customer service.

Called in for some tea after school with the kids in the Morrisons cafe. The Service was excellent, food was great and 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals only cost £16.45 with the drinks, excellent value for money. We Will certainly be going again.

Unfortunately I don't go to Tesco's. As I find it very expensive.
It used to be great, but now it's going downhill. Many times now, there was only 1 or no available cash self checkouts. They constantly move things around, making it very confusing to shop. The prices are great, the staff is good but they need to fix their self checkout and stop moving things around all the time.
Seems to be more reliable when it comes to meal deal selection than the sister store in Market Sq. Bonus marks because they stock the chicken tikka and onion bhaji wrap which is S tier meal deal fodder. Usually quiet at lunch time so a quick in and out job.
All type of Indian groceries can be find here easily. Other than groceries, pooja material n accessories can also be purchased from here.
Has what is needed. Small though, but if you go at a quiet time it's easy enough to get what you need and get out. And the store is generally clean and well presented. Now that they have self checkouts, it's easier.
I do enjoy shopping at Asda as their prices are very reasonably. However I went in today to get some shopping and had a £1 off voucher if I spend £10 instore from parking in their car park. The voucher I had was from a previous visit when I paid to park and the cashier would not except it due to the car park voucher not being the same date. Clearly from the picture it does not say that I could not use it on another day from when I originally parked.

I've been going to this Tesco every single week. I'm a regular customers and all of the employees knows me. A lot of employees are friendly and really helpful but the security guards doesn't like me for no reason. I haven't done nothing for wrong I normally come in and pay then leave. He accused me multiple of time for theft even I always have proof payment went through. He clearly has shown me he doesn't like me by showing anger and getting annoyed even I haven't said a world to him

Surprised it wasn't too busy for the time of year. The shop was still well stocked with some Christmas goodies. There was a steady flow of people and the delivery slots were all full by time I went through checkout at about 11ish.
Just moved out from Worcester and start using polish shop in my town and I need to admit I miss staff from Fresh Market. They are amazing. So nice and polite. Staff working on the floor are so helpful same thing going to staff behind a meat counter. Ladies working on the till are always smiling and welcoming. Just read review below and I think this person mistaking your shop with another one very close to yours where staff indeed are rude and shelves are empty. Or someone just playing dirty. One way or the other I love Fresh Market and people who working there. Nothing never too much hassle for them. I will be back to do shiping in your shop as the one we have in Wigan is bad lol 😂
The best store in worcester! Very large selection of products, all very fresh, especially mushrooms, tomatoes and yoghurts. Mrs. Aneta and Mrs. Ela are always smiling and helpful in choosing the right products ☺️☺️☺️
This is the only Polish shop with RUDE STAFF I know so far! They will never smile to you, never use words like “you are welcome”, “Thank you”, “Sorry”, so you never felt welcome in this store, but I regret been there. In terms of products is going down in past few months, not much choice of products as before, lack of veggies as salads.
The Owner/Store Manager has to work out and improve customer service from all members of staff if they want to keep some customers, otherwise there are plenty of smaller but friendlier Polish store around!

Love ASDA the clothes are great value for money and school uniforms are good too at ideal prices.

Good store with large variety of daily stuff. A small part for furniture and cooking tools turn out to be very useful. One more thing, don't forgot to use the Asda award to earn money. It is very easy to save money there
Used to be much better for Polish products now just filled with Romanian stuff. Feels cramped, shelving too high, staff look constantly stressed out and annoyed. Has gone dramatically downhill since 2021...

This is where I fo my shopping and my father's . I feel its great value fir money ,variety and sells what I call ethnic food.
Agree we get a lot of Indian foods here, however also keep an eye on the expiry date while buying the packaged groceries. I am surprised to see shop selling products post expiry date. I bought the expired items twice without knowing. But this time I see a note about the expired date too. That's brave! Really brave to inform the buyer that your product is expired.

First ever visit to an ALDI store. This specific store has good parking space. Clean and wider aisle. Nice to see doors on refrigerators shelves to save us all. Loads of fresh produce (Sat 6pm). Good amount of essentials. The famous middle aisle deals. Two checkout counters open as it wasn't crowded. Some of the items had short shelf life which won't work as weekly shopping. No children friendly parking space seen. Trolleys can be picked/parked only at one point.
Tesco Express is a good alternative for shopping wen you go to work. Nice place ☺️ nice people.
Best indian grocery in the locality. We get each and every Indian delicacy here in this store. Though it's a little unorganized and very congested, still we have no other options except going here for weekly groceries.
Polish and Romanian food, very good 👍 shop. Normally I would give 4 stars as it wasn't very well stocked but considering that was right after the Christmas (27 December) most of the shop they had not an excellent availability so 5 stars for now
Was just served by a very rude man. He was very polite and friendly towards the woman before me. Even asked if she would like a bag, when he served me though said the absolute bare minimum and didnt even bother telling me the total. I was under the impression employees serving people were meant to have people skills.
The best shop to buy south Asian foods to be specific south Indian foods. However, people from other places shop here. Their main attraction are seasonal grocery, fruits and vegetables. A variety of rice, lentil, spices, pickles, biscuits, dried fruits are available. They have a halal butchery back of the store which also sells variety of puja essentials too. They have Indian sweets. Bit weird but it's far far away home so Gods and goddesses must understand 😆. They have deep freezers full of frozen meat and foods.

If you have a choice I wouldn’t shop here. Very badly managed store. Check all prices at the till as you will find you are paying far more than you think. My local store but stay away as much as possible.
Best shop in town with a lot of diverse products from a lot of countries! Highly recommends if you want to try something authentic and new
Pleasant shopping. Not as frenetic as some of the bigger branches. Staff at checkout extremely helpful and friendly. Even managed to grab a bargain, fluffy dressing gown for winter snuggles, down from £20 to £7, great! Prices very reasonable and lots of variety.
Ridiculously slow service. The checkout staff don't have a morsel of urgency between them. The most common sight is a queue of 6-7 customers waiting to be served, and usually the checkout staff casually chatting while they slowly scan.
Very good and well stocked up. The problem I had was the costumers leave all the fridges doors half open I spoke to the security he was very pleasant man he said people just don’t care, like that the fridges use twice as much energy and the dust from outside gets in side the fridges.

Good deals on household named products. Most of the staff are nice but some shine more than others. Went there today and whilst they dont stock what i would call essential (yeast etc) its still good. Update = staff have changed a little and have improved.
