Has an amazing experience at Deeside flight simulators flyingthe Airbus, the staff were really friendly and the simulator so realistic. A surprise gift from the wife and possibly the best one yet! Highly recommended and I'll definitely return to try another aircraft or experience.
Took my son today for a surprise visit as he is into his flight simulator game on his Xbox. Wow what a great experience from start to finish. Nick was absolutely great and he explained everything perfectly !! My son absolutely loved it and we booked his next visit . Thank you and we are looking forward to our next visit . Joshi family .
Great experience, Boeing 737 simulation bought for my 12 year old grandson, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the flight experience on the day. Big thank you to Mark, the instructor and to Angela who managed to move the booking at short notice.

What a great experience. Dave, the instructor, was very knowledgeable and friendly. A must for any plane enthusiasts as this takes place in a decommissioned Boeing cockpit. Thoroughly enjoyed
Excellent - Kenneth was great and really put my son as ease as although excited, he was quite nervous. He absolutely loved it. Equipment is of a really high standard. Will definitely be going back.
Took my 10 year old son who is autistic with adhd for a 60 minute flight experience which he was a little nervous about but he thoroughly enjoyed, Nick was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable, explaining the controls and coaching my boy through the whole flight. Would recommend :)
Lynx flight gifted to me by close family member, really great experience, the Simulator is a real lynx converted very professionally using state of the art tech, excellent flight physics, and great care taken by the instructor to find my ‘limits’ and work within, very immersive due to the wrap around visuals, highly recommended!

A totally immersive experience. Kenneth was engaging and explained the do's and don'ts and the logic of what we were to expect. The contrast between the training simulator and the spitfire simulator made one appreciate the very different skills.

What's not to like ? The welcome was warm, friendly and professional. The briefing was thorough and clear but not too long, or too short. The simulator (Lynx) was amazing and although it doesn't move, within seconds the fact it's a simulator is forgotten. The instructor's instructions were clear and precise.
I was pushed to the limit, considering I've never been in a helicopter and the workload was high, as I tried to understand how the machine "moved". But it was such fun. Flying over New York, and finishing with a technical flight which was a real buzz.
If you have any interest in flying, I would thoroughly recommend having a go. You won't forget it.

Great fun. Very good experience with interesting training. The trainer was excellent at making the simulation a fun and exciting experience. Well worth a visit.
Great fun today in my first flight with the 737. Chris stayed very calm as I blundered around. Thoroughly recommended.

I visited here as a birthday present form my 13th birthday. I am a bit of an “Av-geek” myself but the experience there needs no prior knowledge. It was a well built sim, with lots of fun challenges such as an engine failure and crosswind landing. My instructor guided me through it all and showed me everything. Overall a great experience! Many thanks to Captain Kirk and his team for this incredible day out!
Just enjoyed our second simulator flight, first with my son and now grandson. Would recommend this to anyone. Kenneth is a very experienced and patient pilot.

I accompanied my young grandson to sim2do for a youngster’s 1hour experience on a Cessna simulator. After a short informative video of the dials Josh was put in the cockpit with Ken, the instructor , firstly getting josh to taxi to the runway, then explaining the readings to take off , fly , turn then land. After landing and taking off at several airports, with no crashes, josh was told to take off and return without any help- success !!! I’m afraid Josh is quite a quiet boy which unfortunately Ken didn’t witness his jubilation in the car on the way home - yes said his thank yous and asked a question or two but was full of it on the way home to his parents. I was blown away at the professionalism but kind and wow the choice of different plane cockpits simulators- to try a 737/spitfire/ jet /helicopter - highly recommend and know will be returning ! Many thanks Kenneth
Just want to share what a great experience my 16 yr old son had today on a flying lesson guided by Jim... top guy... explained everything clearly to him and myself before taking him up up and away, I managed to track the flight on my flight tracker app so could see it wasn't just some circles around the airfield. Think I know what I want for my birthday now. Great cafe next door also, top quality food.
This in an excellent and professional sim centre. I have done a refresh and preparation flight session to prepare for a European airline assessment and went through all the points requested for the simulator assessment. I passed the assessment a few weeks after. Steve was spot on with the training and very kind and helpful during the preparation. I would definitely recommend!

I was lucky enough to be bought an experience by my fiancée for my birthday and wasn't disappointed. Friendly telephone conversations from Angela who booked me in. The flight itself was as real as you can get without flying, don't be put off by a static simulator as the sense of motion is uncanny. I hope I can visit again and try one of the other aircraft. Absolutely fantastic, first visited Virtual Flight Experience back in 2017 as a Groupon customer and am now a regular, I have completed the Boeing 737-800 virtual type rating course which was intense but very rewarding.
The staff are extremely friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable and you come way knowing you have learnt a little bit more about flying one of the most popular commercial passenger planes there is every time you visit them.

I have been using VFE for a few years now. I'm a student pilot just about to do my.skills test. VFE gave me the confidence to fly with a mate over water in a SEP to France and gave me all the navigation skills required, to complete my training in the real world. And even once I've passed I will continue to fly VFE as there is always something left to learn in aviation. The experienced and friendly instructors are always welcoming, and always seem to find a new learning objective.
VFE is a brilliant company, staff are fantastic every time I visit. Their experience and skill shines through, and gives me confidence that good customer service still exists. Pricing is very reasonable considering the competition, especially their on the day return deals. I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in flying, it's well worth a look!
Absolutely amazing. I could not recommend Virtual Flight Experience enough, it was incredible. All of the staff are all extremely welcoming, patient and polite throughout the whole experience. The flight itself was unbelievable, I could not believe just how realistic it was. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.

Bought as a birthday present for my son. He had a wonderful time experiencing a flight simulator. The guys were welcoming, knowledgable and encouraging. I’d highly recommend them as an experience. There’s places for spectators to sit and watch and listen too.

I used the Airbus flight simulator yesterday. Best day out. It exceeded expectation. Soon as I walked in I was met with a friendly smile from the man who booked us in. I had a pilot wish I remember his name but he was absolutely spot on at teaching and making the experience a great one. He helped put my mind at ease for my fear of flying and lots of encouragement. They were both very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. We had a good chat about flying at the end also. I took off from Manchester and landed in Glasgow and was shown an example of an emergency situation. I would definitely recommend and I'll be back myself!
I would definitely recommend a flight simulation session with FSM, I had a very informative and professional instructor Josh, who guided me through the not so easy as it seems art of flying a modern aircraft.

Can’t believe how much I enjoyed this. Utterly enthralling . Sarah my instructor was superb and all the staff were highly professional. Highly recommended. The cockpit is superb and my learning curve was immense. I do feel in the not too distant future the external graphics need to be upgraded to MFS standard but otherwise I loved it
The staff are very friendly and Pete went above and beyond to provide a good flight experience for my son. We were also allowed in as passengers and we sat in the cockpit too. My son learnt a lot and is looking forward to his next visit.

Got a 747 flying session for my wife's birthday. She loved it. No previous experience needed. The instructor, Paul, was excellent- a highly experienced 747 pilot and a great tutor. Really friendly staff and top notch equipment. She had a great experience. Highly recommended.
Simply incredible, Aidan my instructor was lovely, he talked in great detail all the pre flight checklist and once in the air he went into great detail explaining the different aspects of controls and even the physics behind them. Atmosphere around ACS is friendly and I have no doubt I'll apply there.

Out of town pilot looking for a adventure. ACS was absolutely awesome to deal with. Jenny starts the visit with professionalism and inviting smile. Planes are in good shape and the instructors are knowledge and easy going. If you are looking to get your licence best place to train.

The guy who took me was friendly and really nice and loved the whole thing, my only feedback is that my time actually flying the plane was really minimal, less than 5 minutes I'd say, I specifically booked the extended lesson for more time in the air. I'm not sure if the lack of control given to me was due to the weather conditions or what, I'd read the pre flight experience book and thought I would get chance to try out a number of things but I basically just got to hold the plane steady for my time in control, but that was it. Although I loved the whole being in the plane, it was really good, my expectation from the book I read and what actually happened didn't seem to match up. It has confirmed its something I love but its made me want to try another flight experience elsewhere where I genuinely would get to fly the plane for 50% of the time like I was told at the start of the experience I would be doing.

I was bought a flying experience with CFC for my 40th Birthday and i couldn't have been in greater hands. The Instructor on the day was very knowledgeable and experienced and because of this, felt completely safe and got the most out of the lesson. I have been on other flying experiences before and this was, by far, the most enjoyable and informative. To top it off, i know that the club managed to liaise and organise the lesson with my Wife, out of hours, which shows flexibility and is refreshing to see a business going that extra mile. Thank you and look forward to seeing you again soon.

A great flight school with a friendly and supportive team of instructors. Great curriculum based system to keep track of where you are up to. The fleet is impressive and well maintained. The airport is really accommodating and supportive for trainee pilot's. If your thinking of training I would definitely recommend Merseyflight.
I had a fantastic flying lesson for my 18th. Ollie's easy-going nature meant the instruction was delivered in a fun and friendly way which was easy to understand and pick up quickly.

This flying experience was a gift from my sons for my 60th. Ollies communications were clear and timely and I had my session just this Saturday. I was looked after by Richard, who fully briefed me before and was keen to learn what I wanted from my time aloft. After take off he encouraged me to take control of the aircraft, and indeed for most of the flight. Knowing the flight path he could narrate where we were and what we were looking at, and allowing me to steer and bank in the direction under his guidance. It was so rewarding to see the world at a different speed and perspective to that usually glimpsed on a commercial flight.
I fully recommend this experience for any friend or family member that has an interest in flight and 'how planes work' as an alternative to the somewhat detached experience when traveling on a holiday flight.

My husband has just had a flying experience with Alex for his 50th, had an amazing time. Ollie has been fab at keeping in touch and making sure everything went smoothly, thanks guys he’s had the best day.
Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants an experience of a lifetime! Once you do this..you will never forget the buzz you get from flying a plane. The instructor talks through everything for you so you know what all the buttons do and how to fly the plane. I felt safe the whole way through the lesson and the team were brilliant! Just took the grandchildren up to see the ✈ a very nice lady came out and chatted with them then she showed us into the big hanger full of planes boys lived it, the were supposed to have a funday today but had to cancel due to the weather forecast. Thanks for your time.

Had a flying experience with Jim for my 21st birthday. Very professional and great fun. Hadn't been in the air long before Jim gave me control after clearly explaining the basics. It has sparked a desire to start lessons.

Great flying club with friendly and experienced instructors available. The Robin is a nice aircraft to fly and easy to get used to after mainly flying the PA28 previously. Ollie is always approachable for bookings, even out of hours, and will accommodate as much as he can.

What an excellent experience ! The flight was a present for my 50th Birthday - and was worth every penny. Sincere thanks to Olly and Jim and the guys at Hawarden for making it such an enjoyable and accessible event. First-rate service - and I genuinely felt in safe hands. The Robin is a delightful little aircraft to fly - very responsive - and the perfect way to see this lovely area we live in..... It was just the perfect bit of escapism I was hoping for - and I certainly will be back very soon. Thanks, guys !
I've just completed the 3-lesson "Learn to Fly" package to get a sense of the flying school before committing more longer term for the full PPL training. The people are extremely nice, the instruction is amazing (and fun). I've got way more out than I thought I'd get out of their starter package and there is no doubt in my mind about it being the right place to continue. They're upfront about price and costs and what's included in what you pay for and the website is definitely the best out of the other schools on the same site (major factor in first selecting Merseyflight). Highly recommend!

Started flying with these guys late last summer and enjoying every minute of it. The instructors are great and take their time to explain each exercise whilst building your confidence in flying. All the aircraft are very well maintained and your safety is paramount at Merseyflight. It’s a pleasure to fly with these guys, I only wish I could spend more time flying than just thinking about it.
If you’re thinking of flying or buying a voucher, stop thinking and get it booked :)

Would absolutely recommend Merseyflight for anyone looking for lessons themselves or to give someone a lesson as a gift. I completed my Private Pilot License here and if I had to do it all over again I'd still choose Merseyflight.
