Wow. I’ll honestly never forget this! Thank you to Henry for patiently and diligently sharing his knowledge and experiences of growing up in the troubles. I am ashamed at how little I knew about the past, and current, struggles of the community and am so glad I now know. 10/10 experience that you have to do if you’re visiting Belfast.
Our tour was fantastic! Lead by Isaac, we got to experience Belfast’s history through the Troubles and the present day impact of that history. Thank you for a great experience!
Took my P7 class on a Titanic themed tour with Aidan. The tour was very informative and uncovered some of the more unknown aspects of the Titanic's history. Aidan provided a lovely prize for the child who could answer a question at the end and provided stickers and words searches for all. Very reasonable price too. The children really enjoyed it, would highly recommend!
First time trip to Belfast. Fully recommend taking a tour with these guys. My wife and I had a 1hr 45 minute tour covering both sides of the troubles. Very informative and in large Mercedes minivan. Stevie the driver open to questions and discussions on the route. Time for photos along the way. A must do on your visit to the city. Friendly staff with convenient city centre pick up points
We took the Cab Tours Belfast “The Troubles” tour, organised as part of our visit to Crumlin Road Gaol. Stephen was our guide and driver. Perfect timekeeping, and an excellent tour with a fascinating narration. My photographs show some of the sights around Protestant and Catholic areas (and the walls and gates that separate them).

Excellent tour - highly recommended. And our thanks to Stephen 👍
Had a great two hours great driver and host
Would highly recommend. Our Cubs learned so much about Belfast for the Local Knowledge badge. Even the leaders learned about things they had no idea about. Thank you for a great tour!
Marti is a very thoughtful and funny guide. He obviously really loves and cares for Belfast's past, present and future. We would highly recommend spending some time with Marti and let him introduce you to some corners and stories of Belfast you would otherwise never see or hear.
We had a fantastic day touring the city of Belfast. Aidan was a brilliant guide, very informative, friendly & all around great craic! Will be recommending to all of our family & friends.
Excellent tour delivered so well by Aidan who told a wonderful story about Belfast and its deep history. The tour was told with such charm and knowledge that it was hard not to be engaged. Would highly reccomend!
Took a cab tour of Belfast to see the murals and hear the story of the troubles. Wow. Our driver, Isaac, was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to tell us everything from a neutral perspective- giving both sides of the troubles. We were able to stop at various sites to get out for pictures and added to the writings on the peace wall. We had already done the touristy things but I would definitely recommend this tour to find out about the real Belfast. Very safe and educational experience. The highlight of our trip. Thank you. Isaac was a great guide.
Marti took us on a tour like no other! Marti has vast knowledge or the history and present goings on of Belfast. He customized our tour based on our interests and questions. The tour highlighted so many wonderful areas and made us all absolutely fall in love with Belfast. His unique personality and sense of humor made the tour extra amazing. Can't recommend Marti's tour enough!
My son and I did a tour with Marty last week. Really interesting, informative and very enjoyable, an excellent way to find out much about Belfast city centre and his suggestions on further investigations, eating and drinking options very useful. Thank you!!
Excellent, unbiased tour of Belfast and its history. Our guide, Diarmaid, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. I would highly recommend Cab Tours Belfast if you are visiting the city and searching for an unbiased tour.
The eclectic Belfast Tour by Marti was amazing. He was witty, amusing, super knowledgeable and very friendly. He took the time to get to know what we were interested in before showing us around Belfast. As the name suggests, the tour covered a mix of topics and I could not imagine anybody better placed to make it as interesting as he did. Being personable, he knew many of the owners/staff in the local buildings/venues which meant that we could go inside and learn more of the history, getting the tips and knowledge that only locals would know. Another person with us had been with a different tour company earlier in his trip and said that was a waste of time compared with what he had learned from Marti. For a 2.5 - 3 hour duration trip, the value for money is incredible and we even went for a beer at the end. This is highly recommended and I will be looking Belfastology up for another tour next time I am back in Belfast.
Marti took us on an amazing tour of Belfast. Too many tours are focussed on re-opening old wounds. He prefers a more forward-looking approach. He explains how the community is working on coming together and healing. He doesn’t sugarcoat the context but does helpfully explain the reconciliation effort. Highly recommended!
This tour was amazing! We had Tucker as a tour guide and he was absolutely spectacular. He was funny, engaging and very very knowledgeable. He did a great job of explaining the history and it was very neat to see a bunch of the different areas around Belfast.
Had the most incredible tour with William. The tour was so informative and interesting. Williams did an amazing job of being unbiased and telling us so much about the Troubles and what it was like for the people in that time and until present day. We felt so honoured to hear the stories from someone who had lived through it themselves. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond to explain whatever we asked. This has been an absolute highlight of my trip to the UK. Could not recommend it enough!
I did a 4 days road trip with Greg, Guided Tours of Scotland in June.
The tour that Greg proposed was AMAZING! The stunning landscape, the impressive castles, the roads, the countryside, the flowers, the delicious seafood, the whisky etc everything was so perfect, even the weather :)

A MASSIVE thanks to Greg, who immediately understood what I was searching for. Greg designed for me a wonderful trip through the West Highlands and Skye.
Greg knows so much about Scotland. I enjoyed each of his stories and explanations about the History, the clans system, the landlords, the geology, the culture, the government&politics, and environmental and biodiversity issues, and much more. It was never too little information, never too much. I never got bored, never disappointed. Everything was so perfect.
I fully recommend Guided Tours of Scotland.

I just returned from a road trip with three friends through England and Scotland. We were fortunate to have chosen Greg of Guided Tours of Scotland . Greg not only created a flexible, bespoke itinerary that provided amazing experiences and routes tailored to our interests, but we could actually change our route while traveling. We had ridiculously good weather in mid June, but Greg says that August & September are wonderful travel months in Scotland which are outside the Sumner travel crush. It can really be crowded in the small and incredibly beautiful towns of Portree on the Isle of Skye and the coastal city of Oban during the Summer

Greg from Guided Tours of Scotland gave us a wonderful perspective on Scottish history and the present social and ecological challenges. An incredible trip with a remarkable guide. Greg’s tours book a year in advance so plan ahead if you want a tour with the best guide imaginable.
Our group of six travelled Scotland with Greg for nine days. His knowledge of Scotland's history was extensive and added such depth of information to the sites we visited. The most impressive part of the tour was how Greg seamlessly adapted our stops to meet differing requests of the group. This flexibility added to the enjoyment of our tour. Additionally his recommendations for restaurants and hotels were excellent. If we ever return to Scotland, Greg would be our first call as we know we would be getting an exceptional driver, a comfortable ride and an insightful tour guide.

The staff were very helpful and the best place for luxury travel to Africa.
Chloe and Ryan were absolutely fantastic. Not only very knowledgeable but also fun. Would highly recommend
Aidan was an insightful, engaging and accommodating tour guide. He was full of interesting information about Belfast which even as a local I was not aware. I highly recommend him.
Fantastic tour that had it all - history, politics, culture, architecture, street art, bars, hotels and cafes. Definitely one to do at the start of your trip to work out where to visit and spend more time later. Marti knows and loves his city and tells stories with a unique style and dry wit. We also appreciated his willingness to tailor the tour to our interests and time commitments. We highly recommend!
Nice experience.
I got to see the Royal Albert docks and the Liverpool museum which are near the Beatles statue.
Greg was an amazing guide. He let us take our time and gave a lot of great information. We had a large group and were very comfortable in the van. It was nice to have a private tour that was planned around the areas we wanted to see. I would definitely book another tour with him it was one of the highlights of our trip.
Had a very interesting tour of the sites. The tour guide was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the subject of each piece, giving insight into the artists if known and stories revolving around the pieces. It was a funny and extremely enjoyable 1 and half hour guided tour that I would be incredibly interested in experiencing again. As the best thing about street art is how it keeps changing if I come back in 6 months to a year so much of the art will be gone replaced with something new.
Wonderful rural areas with street wall paint and spray art.

Our guide Issac was amazing! Once of the most powerful experiences in our entire trip across northern Europe. He presents both the Catholic and Protestant perspective of the conflicts in Belfast through the tradition of wall murals, but he won't tell you whether he was raised Catholic or Protestant. We "voted" at the end on how he was raised, and our group was split 2-2. Clearly a non-biased presentation!

The only reason I give 4 stars rather than 5 is because of a series of miscommunications with the office trying to connect with our driver. They provided incorrect information about where we should park, and we nearly parked in a place that would have earned us a parking ticket. We asked the police officer (giving out tickets) where to park. Then, apparently there had been an earlier police incident near the location they asked us to park, so they sent us a last-minute email asking us to walk about 15 mins to another location to meet our driver. After we walked, our driver wasn't there. We wandered around asking cabbies, but none were our driver. They emailed again asking us to go back to the original location. Since the driver is in a car and we were on foot, we asked them to please send the driver to our new location, which they did. I think this was just a series of miscommunications since everything was communicated via email, but it would have been easier if they had simply provided a number for us to speak with the driver directly for any last-minute questions or hiccups. Otherwise, the experience was simply delightful. We would still strongly recommend!
We just came back from a ”Highlights of Scotland’s Highland” tour of 6 days. I have done half a dozen tours in Scotland Highlands and Islands and Ireland with Greg with various groups of friends and all trips have been amazing. Every time the places we see have been customized to the group (this time we did a lot of walks, other times we’ve visited lots of castles or gardens or distilleries). The recommended accommodations were just what we were looking for (cozy B&Bs, pubs with rooms etc) The best thing about leaving your travel plans and excecution to Greg is that you don’t have to worry about a thing - you just sit back and enjoy the ride. Thank you so much again Greg! Hope to see you soon!
My husband and I were looking for a walking tour during our stay in Belfast. Unfortunately we only had one day, but we found Marti’s Street Art, music and pub experience was still available. The group was small the night we went, so we were able to ask tons of questions as we walked through the city and admired the street art. It blew us away how much Marti knew about his city, and how passionate he is about it. He also knew a bunch of people! He took us to some community areas ie music studio and explained how Belfast is all about bringing together people and everyone supports each other. He was also very knowledgeable about all the street artists and when the works were from and what they represented. He did a fantastic job showing us the city so we had our bearings and gave us so many recommendations for off the beaten path bars and pubs (we walked through many many cool bars but no one wanted to stop for a drink as we wanted to see as much as possible). It was well worth the money, and we even got a drink with Marti after at the Crown Saloon!

I took my P7 class from Springhill Primary School on Aidan's Walking Tour - It was absolutely fantastic! He was engaging throughout, answered all of their questions and had brilliant knowledge to share about Belfast and the Titanic. Would highly recommend!
We had friends from England staying with us before Christmas and decided to book a 'More than the troubles' walking tour. It turned out to be the highlight of their visit. Aidan was a great guide, informative and entertaining. I would recommend the tour to visitors and locals alike.
Aidan was a fantastic tour guide. My husband and I have lived in Belfast our whole lives and we learnt so much on the walking tour. It's eye-opening to learn and see so many parts of the City. Aidan was very informative and friendly, answered any questions we had to the best of his ability and kept the tour interesting and fun. I honestly couldn't recommend Aidan and the walking tours highly enough. Whether you are a resident or a tourist, this is a must!

Thanks again Aidan
Just did the tour today & we had a brilliant host Issac wold highly recommend this tour , it is really is good to see both sides the Falls & Shankill & the different identities & understand it from both perspectives. It really is amazing how far the peace has come on. Long may it last
I highly recommend this tour, as I thoroughly enjoyed it. Marti is a fantastic guide, who really knows his stuff about the troubles and the history of the street art in the area. He was very welcoming and charming, which helped our tour group form a bond during our time together. I will take another tour on my next visit to Belfast.
Had a great tour by Stevie. He was very friendly and informative. It was really interesting to visit all the murals and the peace wall, as well as hearing some personal experiences of the troubles.

The tour was the most memorable part of our trip to Belfast. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about the troubles and be taken to places the tour bus might not necessarily go.

We had a private tour with Stevie and really enjoyed it. The time flew by, as someone who isn't as particularly interested in history as my partner is, I can say that this tour was amazing! I don't usually retain information but having it told by someone who grew up during the troubles was really good. Stevie had great banter, lots of knowledge and even took pictures for us. The tour was interactive too, allowing us to write on the peace wall.

Thank you so much for making our city break! This was my fave part of our whole trip. Thanks to Stevie too for taking small steps to build a brighter future - he will know what we mean!

Excellent, personalised and engaging experience! As a postgrad student in Edinburgh who visited Belfast for three days earlier this month, I have to say the 90-minute cab tour was the highlight of my trip. My guide Isaak was extremely knowledgeable and gave a very personalised tour of the city, narrating the perspective of each area we stopped at, as well as the history and political affiliations behind the exquisite murals.

To anyone visiting Belfast and looking for an appreciation of history, I would say do not miss out! Make sure to book yourself a tour, which for me was less a tour and more a journey through the history of a beautiful city. Hope to be back sometime in the future!

I had to give a 1 out of 5 to post this revue but wouldn't give them any stars and certainly wouldn't book another holiday with this company. I called their so called "24 hour helpline" multiple times when I was on holiday and not once did they return a call in my families hour of need. I have now been writing and calling them since March without one reply, even when you speak to the so called Managers they do not have the courtesy to respond and fob you off, they owe me a refund for flights and accommodation which I had to book direct with another airline and they have hidden behind their phones without once replying. I wouldn't trust the company or employee's with any of my hard earned money, here's a tip, book direct and you can resolve problems with honourable and bona fide organisations and companies, sadly the only option now is small claims court or litigation.
But stay away from this company.
I had the pleasure of going on one of Greg’s private tours in Scotland while reporting on Brexit in Scotland for YLE, Finland’s public service broadcaster. Greg’s knowledge about Scottish history was infinite and he helped me finding the most beautiful spots to film. A day tour was not long enough to experience all the beauty Scotland has to offer but this tour made me sure of returning one day to see more. Thank you very much Greg, I hope you’re well!
This was our second trip with Greg and once again we were most pleased with having him as our tour guide! We wouldn’t travel to Scotland with anyone but Greg. Knowledgeable, patient, and flexible, Greg was the perfect tour guide! We heartily recommend him for anyone traveling to Scotland!

Highly recommend this tour, it was extremely educational, very interesting and very fairly priced. Our driver was Jimmy. An absolute gentleman, friendly and kind. He also didn’t hesitate in answering any of our many questions. Thank you for a heart felt experience of Belfast.

Stevie is the best tour guide in Belfast! Great explanation of history. Took a lot of pictures and talked a lot about how history affects every day life!
Fantastic expressions through very creative art. Walking around the place was inspirational. Great work the artists ! Kudos !
The only travel agency i was able to find in the area accepting payments in cash. Finding the offices proved a bit problematic. Although they managed to book the flights i requested they did so at double the price i would had done have i been able to use a cc. but i guess that is the case with all travel agencies.
Very interesting part of the city . The main feature is the amazing street art and colourful murals. Very hipster vibe. I enjoyed the stroll , the artwork and the cool coffee shops. Best enjoyed on a sunny day, which unfortunately is quite rare for London!

A fantastic and informative political tour of Belfast. Both Seán & George very welcoming and professional, did not stop talking for over two hours during our tour. We would highly recommend Belfast Cab Tours ⭐
Greg provided a highly personalized tour of our ancestral tower house. It was a dream come true for us to take our grandsons to see the the place their great grandfather had told them about. He took us to see standing stones, cairn burial site, and castle ruins near our destination. This thoughtful man gave our family a full, true, historical experience in the area where our relatives lived three hundred years ago. Greg is extremely knowledgeable about Scotland as well as the UK and Europe. Our tour was at our pace and he was open to any changes we wanted to make. Fantastic tour guide and experience reasonably priced as well.
A must... for a fan. Besides that, great sculptures with a realisticly dinamic feeling. Suits the area where it lands.
Super wow. Avid fan of Beatles like us will definitely love this place, you will feel their music, their presence. Amazing place.
If you love the Beatles you have to visit this place.. Liverpool is an amazing place
Excellent service, great prices on the holiday and very infomative. Will recommend to all my friends and family.
I'm the most biggest Beatles Fan from Argentina and I love Liverpool and all the British Culture, I love Football Soccer⚽ And the Rock N Roll Music🎶🎵🍏
Did the North Side Tour on Saturday. Fascinating 1.5 hours! Great tour guide, passionate about the subject
.
Excellent a very knowledgeable tour guide I would go again
Great service! Great price.
Arrived promptly, comfortable service and a good value rate. Would recommend if you don't need to get a black cab then this is a perfectly good and better value alternative.
It was a gratifying experience to ride in one of their cabs today. I had almost forgotten that cab drivers could actually be courteous. Castle Private Hire sets really high standards in the business.
