My first trip on a bus tour...better than expected all round ! ..A very big thank you to Eric our driver who got us us back to Chesterfield and managed to avoid the flooded areas. It was a very long journey home in bad weather fraught with the knowledge that we might not get home that day..Again many thanks Eric

First time with Gee Vee. Went to Llandudno, excellent journey both ways. Would definitely go with them again .
Had good holidays for many years. Good coaches drivers hotels and food office staff have a very bad attitude very rude to customers. Will never travel with then again because of them when booking.
Well I came here because I have never lived in a hostel before. And I traveled alone so I wanted to meet people. The hostel itself is quite cute, older looking and honestly speaking dingy. The best part was that every evening is an event. So first night we went karaoke singing. Next one was stand up comedy, was hilarious, third one pub crawl. So you will have some opportunities in the evening to meet people. But, I also need to point out, the cleanliness was not good. The toilets and showers are dirty. You wanna have slippers if you live there. But apart from that it's quite good. Directly in the heart of the old town. Good restaurants and bars and Cafe around the corner. The hostel card itself gives you discount in many places. So yeah its good for traveling alone.

We have just returned from another holiday with KM Travel Chesterfield, this time to the Isle of Wight & once again give 5 stars! We have been using this company now for the past 7 or 8 years for our holidays & cannot fault them at all. The staff in the office & the drivers all give 100% A family company who really care about their customers. Thankyou KM!
One of the best and funniest walking tour I have ever had to pleasure to be a part of. I booked last minute because I didn’t have any plans for the day not expecting much, but my expectations we’re definitely blown away sky high. 3 hours full of intriguing gory London history and laughter! Definitely worth every penny!

Our guide “Mary” was a splendid example of how a good tour guide can make an experience. She was engaging and knowledgeable answering some really off the wall history questions from our tour companions with smart and energetic answers. The tour itself gives new life to everything from paving material to parliament. Highly recommended! Wear good shoes, bring an umbrella, and prepare your courage!
I write this review on behalf of my mother Clare Cork who recently stayed at Cliffe Norton in Tenby. This was her 3rd holiday with KM this year and all has been great however, she paid extra for a sea view room but on arrival she was told that there were none available so was put into a room overlooking the bins. On her return she went to the shop to complain to the assistants who argued amongst themselves of whose fault it was that Clare had not been informed beforehand. Her money was returned but she was given no apology. This situation spoilt her holiday as she was looking forward to a beautiful sea view high up on a cliffe. Clare is now reluctant to book any further holidays with K& M due to the poor service she received at the time of complaint.
Ms. Lovegood was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge and funny stories and facts not only about HP books and movies. She showed us many beautiful places and her interactive commentary made the tour even more interesting. Her voice impressions and singing are spot on! We were lucky as our group consisted of only 3 people, so it felt more special and intimate. We had a lovely time. Recommended very much, superb value for the money!
Absolutely loved everything about this hostel! Phenomenal location in Old Town, close to everything, felt very safe, solid amenities, all the people there are absolutely lovely, and there's a super cheap, comprehensive breakfast everyday. It can be a little bit noisy at night, but some earplugs are really all you need. There's always something going on, and they have excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!
BEST HOSTEL! If you are looking for a hostel in the middle of the old town and one that has a really nice, homely, community vibe with free hot chocolate and tea, this is the place. The volunteers were all amazing and joined in on the activities, bringing the best vibes. Rooms were great, got 2 pillows and a great view of the Royal mile which was much appreciated. There are events every day and so much to do in the area and at this hostel, you’ll find lots of people to do them with. SO STAY HERE !
Alex our walking tour guide was absolutely and energetically delivered the tour at it’s finest! It’s like watching a musical show and him the main actor while walking around London. Taking the Harry Potter walking Tour i guess is the best thing to do while in London. It’s not just because you get to see the iconic spots related to Harry Potter movies but the history and London as well 🥰🥰🥰 Much respect to Alex for doing the job really well. 👍🏾
We had a blast on this tour! Our guide, Will Hagrid was fabulous: he took us on a wonderful tour of the city, stopping at various HP filming sites, as well as some sites pertinent to London's history. Will's humor, extensive Harry Potter and London history knowledge, as well as his creative ways of engaging individuals of all ages on the tour (our group ranged from age 5 to ~40) made the trip worthwhile. Moreover, we were unfortunately 20 min late to the start of the tour due to a delayed flight, but Will coordinated with the tour headquarters to let us know where we could meet up with them a few stops ahead, then took the time to provide us with what we missed after the tour. We'll definitely be recommending this tour to all of our friends!

We have been on a coronation street tour which was brilliant . However the coach driver left us behind and we had to find our own way to where the coach was parked . Customer service there was non . Disappointing .
My favourite hostel so far! Everyone in the room is really nice and polite, the volunteers who work there are lovely and fun people to talk with and spend time with. There's hostel activities to do every day of the week for everyone to do together if you want to meet people but you're not brave enough to talk to strangers. The rooms are clean, warm, the view is amazing, it's really close to everything interesting. If you've got mobility restraints like using a wheelchair etc. this won't be for you, there's lots of stairs to climb and not great for anyone with limited mobility.
I went there for three days to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding. The team was nice and helpful and I felt comfy in the sharing spaces. Sure, a ten bed room doesn’t give you too much privacy or sleep sometimes, but for some days and this price I was really happy. Thanks for the experience, girls and guys!

Loved it! It was informative and interactive, very interesting yet still hysterical. Mary was great! (Not sure if that was her real name? We took the 7:30pm tour on 7/11 so hope the right guide gets the credit she deserves!)
Hagrid was magical with his booming voice, jolly laugh, quick wit, and amazing knowledge of all things Potter including an immense list of interesting and even mind blowing facts with too-crazy-to-be-coincidental parallels tying historical people, fictional characters and london’s sites with HP. He belongs on the stage and we feel lucky to have had the experience of walking and chatting with him on such an entertaining, informative, and fun day.
We booked the tour pretty last minute and were not disappointed! Cary, our guide, instantly put us at ease before taking us with the group on a tour of Southwark, delving into the dark history of this part of London. Interesting, unusual, funny, just the right amount of interactive whilst also being the right amount of dark and twisted! Even the rain didn’t dampen the experience. We’d recommend this tour to anyone looking for a different way to spend an evening in London!
I took a group of university students on the tour as part of their public speaking course. Lolly was fantastic!! And we also couldn’t resist her trusty sidekick, Koda.

We loved loved loved our time on this tour! We’ve done a lot of ghost tours, but it turns out it’s REAL history that made our stomachs turn the most. Engaging and interesting the entire time!
Amazing tour, focusing on the lives of ordinary people during middle age in south London. Very clearly exposed and interesting history. Would definitely recommend to prepare yourself to some very gory aspects of the history of London.

For the price it was awesome. Really social environment, truly amazing location. The hostel itself could be a little nicer/cleaner but overall it was fine. It’s a small place so you get to know many people and they offer all sorts of activities at night that are fun. They don’t offer bag storage and reception is only open from 15 to 22 but they have a sister hostel with a 24/7 reception that is helpful.
It’s definitely more of a party vibe, not quiet, and also on a busy street.

The staff was nice and helpful, there were free towels, a large kitchen area and a nice lounge area. The location is right in the middle of everything. I do wish there had been curtains to enclose the beds for a little extra privacy but no big deal. The hostel hosted many events and posted many others including self-guided tours around Edinburgh. I also appreciated, like many of the other hostels I stayed at recycling and composting bins were available.
I was looking for excursion and landed at right place.They provide good excursion trips with reasonable price <20 pounds. Have been to Whitby recently and even looking for some more. Worth trying their service.👌
Fun, interesting and nerdy show, they take you to the locations for Harry Potter, talk about the inspiration related between Harry Potter and the history of London and you win points for your house if you know the answer! Our guide G Lovegood made everything much more fun! TEN POINTS FOR HUFFLEPUFF!!!

My group of 4 went on this tour and absolutely loved it. Our ages ranged from 16-72 and it was everyone’s favorite part of our London trip. The guide was funny and interesting; he engaged everyone with his wit, knowledge and horrifying facts. The time went by very quickly and I was sad when it ended. If you’re looking for a tour that’s fun, dark, and independently owned THIS TOUR IS FOR YOU! You won’t regret booking. We learned so much about how the common folk of London lived. 10 out of 10, would do it again!
Excellent service last week again when 8 of us went to the Belgrave Sands hotel in Torquay. James our driver very good and also taxis on time. Highly recommend KM Travel.
Just returned from a holiday to Torquay had a lovely 5 days at the Devonshire Hotel .The staff are really friendly with nothing too much trouble, the room was comfortable, clean and warm, and plenty of choice on the menu and the meals are all self service which I prefer. Although the hotel is on a hill the bus stops are right outside the hotel door and across the road .We had Barry excellent driver and a lovely man.
We Jean and I went to Calton Hotel in waymonth the coach driver Steve was brilliant made us chuckle all night long as he dressed up in hotel as a woman made us our day what lovely guy. Everyone enjoying their selves highly deserve people remember his name his a great laugh with jokes and knows his travel guide thank you for our holiday it was very lovely knowing you. Perhaps one day we will meet up again this weekend and was a Christmas break and we will be never forget it
Absolutely love this company. I have travelled around the UK and also parts of Europe with them. Always had a fabulous time and cannot fault anything. From booking the holiday to getting off the coach at the end of the tour, the staff are friendly and helpful. The drivers are very knowledgeable and do their upmost to help everyone onboard. I really would not recommend anyone else as KM Chesterfield are the best. I cannot wait to travel with them again soon.
AVOID!!!!!!!! Went with geevees yesterday 14th November for 5 nights to Chatsworth house hotel!!! Llandudno we stayed 15 hours and left in a taxi at half 6 this morning . The Coach driver tail gated all the way to Llandudno almost bumper too bumper . Had our evening meal at hotel and within half hour i was Sick and had diarrhea my husband started been sick in the night and had diarrhea . Food was not nice Never again paid £380 for a taxi home. Hopefully I'll be in my bed by half 9. Hotel has definitely gone down hill especially the food!!!!!!! The hotel was that hot we couldn't breathe properly way too hot
My in laws holiday with this company and I contacted them to ask for holiday vouchers for their Xmas gift 2022. I phoned Monday am got their bank details, paid, came home from work on Tuesday and they had arrived with their 2023 brochure.... Fabulous service ☺️☺️

Fantastic 5 day break at Bournemouth, lovely clean hotel with pool and sea view, amazing staff at restaurant and big meal, taxi was very well organized, lovely guy coach driver and well worth the money, we had a great time.
Seems l upset the owner onmy last review with my comments so I'll try again , taxi service provided house to coach and vise verser excellent service and idea, COACH ( not bus ) very clean and tidy. Driver could have been little bit more pleasant informed us at the last pick-up point ILKESTON that he would be stopping off at Trowell services for coffee as he had missed breakfast ok fine ,now Trowell Services is not far from Ilkeston yet the driver chose to go the long way round he was either following the sat nav or wasn't sure of the way from Ilkeston just ask I'm sure people would understand, as for booking the holiday we visited the office to book no problems then again to make final payment unfortunately I stand by my first review on entering the premises there was a smell of dog which was lay behind the counter, after paying the final bill it would have been nice to have someone say enjoy your holiday have a good trip but nope oh well maybe next time hey

Avista coach didn't turn up on Monday,but sent a smaller bus,with no toilet facilities on board.
Avista holidays good value for money nice hotels plenty of destinations to choose from nice and friendly atmosphere on the coaches I have been on a few trips and enjoyed everyone I would recommend Avista holidays

The Coach picked us up was lovely and clean and we were made to feel really welcome by the tour manager Chris, we arrived at the boat terminal in plenty of time for an amazing dinner on a P&O ship.
The Cabins were acceptable and we had a good nights sleep, where we woke to find ourself in The Country of Belgium.
We had a glorious drive through to Germany and arrived at the Beautiful hotel right beside the River. Beautiful Room fantastic Food, and the excursions out were brilliant.
My wife and I wish to thank Chris and Avista for making our Holiday so enjoyable !

been on 25 to 30 trips with avista- barring for delays to ferrys which cannot be known about- my wife and i have enjoyed every one -very good drivers in england and abroad -we are going again in 2 weeks.
Avista holiday company is family run which means there is no better way to start your holiday .you are made to feel welcome the minute you board the coach .The weekend breaks and holidays are good value for money.Everything is organized for you so all you have to do is sit back and relax .Will definitely book to go on holiday with them again and would recommend to my friends
Brilliant experience from very helpful at the booking stage, local pick up and value for money throughout. The bonus was we never stopped laughing, Chris and Elaine accompanied us as couriers and couldn’t do enough for us, Chris’s dry sense of humour and Elaine’s knowing look just added to a great experience. Loved it, we’ll be back.

Amazing Tour operator. Offers luxury holidays at really good prices. Went to Jordan with them in 2012 and it was perfect. The staff were really helpful, and had a lot of knowledge about our Hotel and resort.
We came back and booked our 2013 Summer Holiday with them to Turkey. Again excellent knowledge and a perfect Holiday. Looking at Mosaic again for 2014 for a possible 14 Night stint in Sri Lanka.
