Former bank, quirky but welcoming decor. Called in for a drink mid afternoon whilst on vacation. Ordered at the bar, 1 x coffee, 1 x milkshake. Unfortunately my partner had finished the coffee before my milkshake had even arrived. Would visit again, if only to see if food service is better, daredevils that we are 😆

Ordering a nightmare. You have to either use the app which is ignored or order at the bar. I was happy to spend £100 between me, my wife and a 12yr old to get basic tapas evening meal. The app is horrendous and simply gets ignored. Your other option is to order at the bar. Either isn’t acceptable when paying this kind on money for decent food. Waitress service required. Our drinks completely ignored. As did our deserts.. if we didn’t go to the bar 40mins after desert order, they wouldn’t have had a clue. Shame, as food was great. Just get some table service and would be superb.
Who wants to go to a decent food place and sit on your phone to order food?? Especially when it gets ignored.

Stopped by at Brasco Lounge for afternoon drinks on a warm day (there was one, honestly). The place was busy.
As the day headed towards the evening, went for the two for £12.50 cocktails. A good selection that went down a treat. We didn't stop at one.
The only food we had was a few fries, so not really a representative rating. The menu did look interesting, with enough variety to make sure we will be back.
We went in and got a seat pretty quickly given that it was busy. Took the waiter about 5 mins to bring us a menu and after serving lots of others that arrived after us, he then came back and took out order. We then got our drinks, the glass my daughter got was vile. Smelled like it was washed in cold dirty water, so she didn't use it and just drank from the can. It took 25 mins from We placed our order to get it. Others that came in well after us were nearly finished before we started trying to eat. I say trying to eat, our food looked like it was flashed in the pan. Guy sitting beside us had lovely well cooked bacon, ours was still oinking. It was vile. I would have complained and waiting for it to be redone only we needed to get off to get our train for a booking we had. Won't be back needless to say.

Great brunch spot - no nonsense, good portion sizes.

Easy to order via the website and good arrived fast. Convenient location. We were able to get a table for two without a booking on Sunday brunch time.

We went here for breakfast on our last day as we dropped our bags nearby. Cafe was very bisywith tourists and locals alike. We were lucky to get a table outside in the sun. Service took quite a long time but no wonder given the crowds and I think there wasn't enough wait staff for that. They forgot 2 items from our order but when followed up they appeared quickly
I had scrambled eggs with salmon which came with toast. It was OK. Coffee was good though.
Overall, nice place for a coffee and simple breakfast to a fair price.

Really good place and staff were very friendly and exceptional in going the extra mile to cater for my dietary needs. Food was very tasty.
We have just celebrated our friends birthday here at the Bonnington Cafe, and it was one of the best birthday celebrations we have had as a group of friends. Of course the people we were with made the difference but the lovely staff, lovely food and fantastic ambience were the cherries on the cake. Excellent venue, keep it up <3

Lively little eatery in Paddington which opens until 11pm. Food was so so but staff were very friendly. We watched soccer & enjoyed the warm ambience as we cheered together with other guests.

Very good stop in Richmond for anyone passing through. Well set out and great menu selection. Got the Chicken Ciabatta which was really good but disappointed it didn't come with anything else considering it came in for under £11.
Easy yo order and laid back place with friendly service.

Very busy, really noisy. Hard to hear each other. The music was turned up to above levels of customer noise so people talked even louder! Floor strangely sloped in an area near ladies toilet - invisible in the current lighting. See photos for ladies toilets. Don't take a timid person in there, looks grubbier than a 1900s Whitechapel cupboard.
Great for resilient teenagers I expect but we needed trauma counselling when we left.

This Italian cafe serves breakfast all day (and is a popular spot for that), but we were there in the afternoon and ordered lasagna and the spaghetti and meatballs. They were both so good and tasty. The lasagna in particular, had the creamiest cheese on it, and deep flavor in the sauce - so delicious! Our server was busy, but delightful. So glad we chose to stop in.

Im a chef and this place is 10/10. The food is amazing. Service is brilliant and friendly. Decor is fun and refreshing. Manager was lovely and gave really good information on how carefully and refined the food is sourced.
The waiters are hard working but the food is not good, especially pani puri which is bad even it looks alright. It’s 8 pounds for just small 6 pieces! Seriously? It’s alright if you’re expensive but how’s the taste? It’s just some salty water??! The reasons of its popularity is just the good location. Please, if you couldn’t make good pani puri, don’t charge so high price which is worthy at all. And even as a south Indian restaurant, your dosa is also not good.

Found this place online last night when looking for somewhere for breakfast on Sunday morning. Lots of parking outside with no restrictions on a Sunday. Large disabled bays right outside the door. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Our food arrived very quickly and looked and tasted lovely. Vast choice of foods and they cater for gluten free and vegans. Help yourself to fresh chilled water on the bar. Dog friendly with dog biscuits on the bar.
Ramp out front and wide doorway ideal for anyone in a wheelchair or scooter.
This quaint cafe has some of the best coffee I’ve had in Bournemouth. The roast is absolutely perfect and every cup tastes just as good.
My Granola bowl was absolutely delicious and giant, great quantity!!
It’s dimly lit, with wood accents that make your life seem like a movie. Whenever someone orders food, everyone can get a whiff of it and it smells delicious.
Highly highly highly recommended♥️

Had a fantastic brunch at the Lounge in Bristol. Great service, girls could not have been nicer. Quality fry up! Would highly recommend. 😎
Suitable for Indian families visiting London.
Would only recommend dosa's, dint like the uttapam.

However we experienced a long wait to get our order. 15-20 minutes just for filter coffee and more than 30 mins for food.
This was my first experience at a Sarawanaa Bhavan and I had heard a lot about it. Generally I am a fan of dosa’s too. However I was generally disappointed overall.

The food looked pretty and the starters were not bad at all. The disappointment came in two forms:

1. Apart from one of the waiters, the remaining staff were abrupt and borderline rude.

2. The dessert served was off. It had someone thing yoghurt based and the yoghurt had gone off.

They did not charge us for the dessert but by that point it didn’t matter.

The food was also unnecessarily expensive too.

I am a regular here and it's always great!
Food is good, menu has all the greats ? Eggs benedict, pancakes, morroccan eggs.
The drinks selection is awesome - their shakes are nice and thick, and their frappe delicious, I really like their iced coffees (especially if you add French Vanilla syrup)
Service is swift.
Outdoor tables are nice in the sun.
The decor is quirky.
My recent visit to Saravanaa Bhavan left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant's reputation for authentic South Indian cuisine, the experience fell short due to poor service and food quality issues.

Upon arrival, I had to flag down a waiter to take my order, which was an inconvenience from the start. Despite waiting patiently, my Mysore Masala Dosa arrived cold after a lengthy 25-minute wait, with no follow-up from the staff. This lack of attention to our table was disappointing, to say the least.

To compound matters, while enjoying my meal, I was dismayed to discover a hair in my chutney. This hygiene oversight was unacceptable and soured my dining experience further.

What truly disappointed me was that despite these glaring issues, the restaurant still charged me the full price for the meal. This lack of acknowledgment or action taken to rectify the situation was disheartening.

In summary, while Saravanaa Bhavan may boast flavorful South Indian dishes, the overall experience was marred by subpar service, food quality concerns, and a lack of attention to hygiene. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for future patrons.
We loved our early evening meal here. Our chef was a delight and as she said, served everything with love. A great community atmosphere. Very little choice of food, which I personally prefer, but it was fresh, honest and tasty. Great lemonade. Location an oasis of period tranquility. Will be back.

The original and best (possibly) of the Lounges. They do Hofmeister but it tastes like the proper German stuff and not the watered down English version from the 80s 'follow the bear'
We were lucky to get space without waiting in noon for lunch. I must say this was one of the better Sarvanaa bhavan , I never liked them in Wembley. Quality and taste of food was great . Service was bit laggard and drinks came very late.
It was our second time here. This place is the best option for a healthy and modern breakfast in central Bournemouth. I love their brunch bowls. The ambience is very cool inside and the service is always perfect. They buy coffee beans from Bad Hand Coffee, a local coffee roastery, and make delicious coffee.

Once again I have bought my lovely girlfriend on another date in bristol, this time I let her choose and to my pleasure she chose new moon.

What can I say, food 10/10, drinks 10/10 and staff 10/10. The waiter on the night seemed to be handling everything to a high degree, even though he was the only floor staff of the night. He made excellent recommendations for after meal drinks, as-well as making us off menu cocktails which he got bang on. It’s crazy how much a connection with a waiter can enhance your experience.

Me and my girlfriend had the most lovely night, and we will definitely be back again.

Highly recommend for an intimate dining experience, with incredible food and drinks. 10/10

It’s a good choice of breakfast place. Price is reasonable, staff is friendly, food is fast and delicious. And coffee is good too.

The cafe is a bit small so tables are packed closely. So there are many people buying take away too.

Toilet is small but clean.

We are visiting Clifton and found this tapas bar on Google and as we walked past it looked inviting. The menu was very impressive, and the quality of the dishes was excellent. We were sad when the meal was over! The one man show serving was also brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine, some great options at reasonable prices and the bottle that we tried was so special and we have saved the name of it to see if we can order some at home (Hungarian Red). We also had a desert wine which was lovely and a generous portion. We brought our dog who was welcomed (though he is small and well behaved).
A lovely little restaurant, we would certainly bring friends/family/colleagues who we would like to impress.

2nd time of visiting. Last time was lovely and it's always a worry when you go back wondering if it will be as good as the last time. Well they didn't disappoint. The food was exceptional. We ordered aubergine rolls with goats cheese and walnut mousse, it was so so good we ordered it again. We had 7 dishes and a dessert each and drinks and the bill at the end was good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Went here for breakfast and immediately got greeted by Jay who gave us a warm welcome. We had looked at the menu at the restaurant next door but no one came over to urge us to sit down had they done we would have, however we were like “let’s look at Branco lounge menu and decide” to which as soon as entered we were greeted warmly. The food was delish - Shashuka and Miami brunch so tasty. Also Jay bought over treats and water for my dog without us even asking. Honestly really impressed with this place, music great also for the time of day. Well done Brasco lounge I’ll be back - adding this to the regular breakfast list.
I been to Saravana Bhavna before in London this place for the first time. I found out the taste is good but the prices are expensive according to the taste it was not the same I used to eat in Wembley and south hall no idea it was the same case anyone feel it or just me. I feel the food quality and quantity is less than other branches of this restaurant.
Other than service was quick and staff was also good. 👍

I've been here a couple times now and I honestly enjoy it. I usually come for the breakfast, since they have a very nice vegetarian full english breakfast and I love their avocado on sourdough! Can get a little cramped at times but we always had enough space to comfortably eat.

A little gem. Friendly staff and excellent food (with good veg options)! It's a small café so sometimes worth calling ahead at busy times to make sure you get a table.
Have been a few times and particularly enjoyed Vic Conran's delightful menu, tasty Laila did a Mexican menu recently. The popular Utopia make the most delish rose lemonade and Arfa makes the best pakora! Misiek does a fab vegan apple and rhubarb crumble. Lovely welcoming atmosphere with changing exhibitions on show in the Café. On Thursdays the piano is played.
absolutely delicious! Each dish was bursting with authentic South Indian flavors, and you could tell that they used fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether it was the dosas, idlis, or sambar, every bite was a delight.

Overall, I highly recommend this South Indian vegetarian restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. With its inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, top-notch food, efficient delivery, and fair prices, it’s definitely a gem worth visiting again and again.
Recommend if you are staying in Paddington area. Cozy place for breakfast we went there twice on our stay. Staffs were welcoming and friendly. We had mushrooms omelette which cooked fresh. Personally love the butter toast. Reasonable price.
A beautiful, cosy hidden gem with amazing vegetarian and vegan food! The cafe is so friendly and it feels like you're going round someone's house for dinner, in the best possible way. Victoria's cooking was incredible from starters through to dessert - especially loved her carrot fritters with zingy salsa, spinach and mushroom roulade, and Eton mess. The community vibe at the cafe makes it such a special place to eat. Will definitely be coming back!!
A hidden gem! Bonnington Cafe is clearly loved by locals creating a buzzing and loving atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night when Vic was cooking - you wouldn’t want to miss it! The quality and creativity of the dishes are levels above the impressively affordable price, I cannot recommend her cooking enough! Will be back for more the next time we’re in London - thank you Vic!

Amazing food! Very authentic and perfect portions! A must in Bristol!
A lovely breakfast/lunch/brunch place! Friendly staff and just a cozy vibe to the place. The food was excellent, with a great selection of both meat and vegetarian options. Reasonable pricing and definitely worth the money. Will be going back once I’m in the area again!!
Wow Vic’s menu was one of the most imaginative and delicious meals iv had. Every other Saturday, very highly recommended and check out my meal which was called ‘Little Wing’, a terrine of spinach, carrot and Gruyère. Served on a puff pastry and so delicious… and to top it off you can byob of your favourite tipple :) so good!
Such a cozy little cafe. Good looked amazing, the hot drinks are amazing and rather inexpensive. Students and NHS staff get 15% off too!

Been going here for 10+ years! Food is great as always but please, please sort your lighting out! Bright white LED lights is like having your meal in an operating theatre! You feel like your about to be abducted by aliens it's so bright. Something changed a few years ago with the lighting and now we won't eat there as the ambience is ruined. Sounds dramatic but it need to improve their lighting situation.

Had to meet up with visiting friends in the area so I looked up for breakfast places. I was a little skeptical about this place as it is quite popular amongst tourist guides but hell I was wrong.

The team was ever so friendly, even when the place was packed with tourists and locals alike. They came and took our order, and within moments our food was served, smoking hot and delicious. The portions are okay, I’ve had bigger and definitely had smaller. But it was so reasonably priced!

I asked if they do fried toast instead of the usual toast. The staff very kindly said it should be no problem and asked if it was okay for the toast to come separately as it would take longer to prepare than the rest of the food. I didn’t expect this level of customer service at all, considering it was a full house on a busy weekday morning.

A great brunch and coffee spot. Never known such good service from a cafe, they made a small error with our order and went over and above to rectify it. Not all granola bowls are made equal and this was the best I’ve had! The OG bagel was great and such generous fillings. Great coffee too!

Found this place randomly on Google maps and thought I'd give it a try with a visiting friend. It was a really excellent experience from start to finish. It's a small restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere inside - quirky chic decor, dimmed lighting and 'smart cocktail bar' music playing in the background. The waiter was so friendly in a natural way, and really looked after us during the meal (water refilled without having to ask kind of service). The food was superb, our favourites being the coconut chicken, king prawns, the pea risotto, and the aubergine goats cheese rolls. In truth there wasn't one dish that we had that wasn't delicious, only that the calamari was a tiny bit chewy. Chose three dishes and that was enough to have us just full. For dessert I had the crepe Suzette and again this was so tasty. The price was about £40 per head which I think was reasonable (service included). Overall a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning.
We visited for a leisurely brunch on a weekday. It was busy but we managed to get a table and the staff were very accommodating when we asked to change table. Excellent take on a mcmuffin. High quality food. Really good coffee. Would highly recommend

I visited for an art exhibition and a classical musical delight just recently and was greater with smiles and an amazing atmosphere of lovely people hidden away behind Vahaul Tune /Train station. Look it up because it will be your little secret place to take friends and family who will know you are truly on the button for the places to be.
Stopped by for a spot of lunch today while walking in and around Bollington. The cafe is a lovely cosy place with a mix of tables and chairs giving it a nice feel. The menu is good with a nice selection of different meals each one has their own personal spin on it. The food was served nice and quickly and each meal was perfectly cooked. We had a selection of drinks (a few coffees as well as soft drinks for the kids). The coffees were lovely and exactly what we needed on a cold wet day. Staff were very pleasant and overall the cost for the quality of food / drink was spot on. A really nice spot to visit if you're in the area!
Absolutely great place! Mouthwatering food and amazing atmosphere. It was my second time there today and I will absolutely return. Absolutely worth taking the side road when traveling up or down the M6 🥰🥰

Excellent food and service at reasonable prices.
Staff were very accommodating and polite, and the food was to die for. Complements to the chef. New ownership and the only downside was no alcoholic beverage, although you were allowed to bring your own.
Apparent lack of customers, but I think that was down to the open planning. Put some blinds up and make it a bit more private looking, and it's definitely a winner. It's certainly worth a visit and is now my goto restaurant for Indian cuisine.
A really nice atmosphere in here, the staff were all very friendly during my visit. Quite a few people working at laptops while eating and drinking which leads me to believe it’s a good place to escape to from home or the office.
Food options were all tempting and catered for most types of dietary preference. Coffee is locally sourced too, courtesy of Bad Hand Coffee in Bournemouth. Dine in and take-out for everything. Will definitely return.

Great service and excellent food in nice surroundings. Can't fault it. I had the Lounge Breakfast and the wife had a Chicken Shawarma Flatbread. Daughter had a bacon breakfast muffin.

The mixed grill plater is well prepared, cooked to perfection and very tasty! The curries are well spiced and delicious with the moist briyani rice and freshly prepared naan. They have a shisha place at the back of the restaurant.
It’s a Great evening meal and would visit again.

Back on form. We haven't been for a long while since the refurb because at the time they had gone downhill a bit. I'm well impressed with the standard of the food now. Mixed grill, lamb chops, Ceylon curry, all excellent. I may have been ambitious with the heat though. My mouth is on fire and I'm sweating. Very enjoyable, will certainly come back. Now for the bill...
