Great secluded car park - a hedge separates the cars from the main road which reduces the noise and makes the area feel safer and more protected.
Gravel unmarked car park, plenty of space available. Easy access to the park. Be careful when you enter as it’s one in one out

Very busy but perfect location for a short walk to robin hood cave.
Yes, the car park is free. The garden is wonderful filling the whole valley with beautiful planting and a superb collection of magnificent trees. But most of all, I've never seen so many benches in one place!!
However, the food was a bit limited in range and supply, unless you went back out to the carpark where there is a bigger restaurant.
Lovely day out
Amazing place and nature for relax.

Beautiful, well-kept gardens, with many ways to navigate your way round the gardens. There is a good nursery here with a good variety of plants for sale. Just outside the gardens by the car park, there is an excellent cafe with a good choice of food on offer.
Overall, a great place for a day out.

They have an amazing deal going on, offering half peri peri chicken, rice, chips and fries for 7£. This deal is a steal. The chicken is tasteful and the rice are cooked to perfection. Definitely recommended.
Could do with a resurfacing. Busy on weekends.

On the plus side it's all free parking, on the down side if you are coming in on the A24 where you are driving into the park, you will find that there is no tarmac and it is full of pot holes.

Me and a couple of mates visited here yesterday for the first time and ordered double chicken burgers half spicy and couldn't believe how fresh and nice the food tasted. We all agreed it was the best chicken burger we have had in a long time, and highly rate the food. Will definitely be returning!

BEWARE OF REVIEW BOMBERS. Lots of fake reviews from a few hostile people all around the same time period. Anyways,

Great owners, great staff, great food. Honestly not much more to say. The meat quality is superior to most local places. If you can handle spice, go hot, as the spicy dip burgers are arguably the best in the area, since they're actually spicy. Also, one of the few places on Stockport road that takes card payments. Highly recommend. Fries are definitely the best in the area, though the red salt can overpower what is already fine.
A bit of a grubby layby (I wish people would take their litter home) but space for quite a few cars, providing good access to walks along Stanage Edge to the south, and Derwent Edge to the north. Free parking and did not seem mega busy even on a Saturday.
A great place for building stamina and working the body and heart' there are steep hills to walk up and lots of stone steps to climb' it's a place I use for fitness training and it's peaceful also couple of hundred feet above sea level and its free also plenty of free car space and fresh air from the river' snowdonia is visible on clear day' best things in life are free.
Lovely walking and stunning scenery

I never, ever write anything about food places but this place, Krispy Chicken on Stockport Rd, Levenshulme is absolutely amazing. The service, food and prices are the best this side of Manchester. 🏆🏆🏆 Treble winners 👍 This food cost me £7:00 !! I've just been into Krispy Chicken again tonight and the manager recognised me from the other night. Ok look, a few people have been saying unjust things about him in some of their reviews. I found him interactive, polite, friendly and respectful. When I went in I had to wait a while as they were snowed under. The manager explained this to me. Now, if you feel that you don't want to wait then there are plenty of other eateries on the Road. It was busy tonight which gave me a chance to watch his people skills. Tbh he was great with customers who he knew and those who he didn't know. Sure, if you go bouncing in with an attitude he doesn't look like the kind of character who will take that kind of disrespect. But then would you if you were in his place? Be honest. So yeah. Some of the reviews on here have been quite personal towards the manager. If you have a problem with the food, which myself and lots of others don't, then it's you right to complain. But forget the character assassination as I was in there a while tonight and the other night and didn't see that. Anyway I just wanted to add that. Go in, check the food out because Krispy Chicken is definitely worth checking out 👍

Beautiful views ruined by litter and extensive graffiti.
Hughky recommended for long distance 4 hrs walk. Good scenery and not too difficult terrain.
Lots of parking if you go early and close to views

I must say, the food was truly horrible, leaving me utterly disappointed.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the behavior of the owner ( The guy who looks like Hagrid in HP ). Not only was he rude and impolite, but his demeanor seemed to suggest that he was dealing with some mental health issues. As someone who believes in treating others with respect and kindness, it was disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism.

Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted with a complete lack of courtesy. The owner appeared disinterested in serving customers and had an overall dismissive attitude. It was clear that he had little regard for customer satisfaction or even basic customer service etiquette.

Moving on to the food, it was truly abysmal. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and lacked any flavor whatsoever. The portion sizes were significantly smaller than what one would expect, given the prices charged. It felt like a complete rip-off, and I was left questioning the quality of the ingredients used.

In addition to the poor food quality and the owner's inappropriate behavior, the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. The dining area seemed neglected, with dirty tables and floors. It was evident that hygiene standards were not a priority.

Terrible Experience at Krispy Chicken

I recently visited Krispy Chicken with high hopes of enjoying a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I felt compelled to share my disappointment with others considering dining at this establishment.

First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff appeared disinterested and unmotivated, displaying a lack of basic customer service skills. Not once did I receive a friendly greeting or a sincere smile. It seemed as though they couldn't care less about providing a positive dining experience.

Moving on to the food, it was nothing short of a disaster. The chicken I ordered was overcooked and dry, lacking any semblance of flavor. It felt as if I was biting into a piece of cardboard. The breading was soggy and greasy, giving me the impression that it had been sitting out for far too long. The sides were no better; the chips were cold and tasted like they had been reheated multiple times.

The cleanliness of the establishment was also a major concern. The floors were dirty, and tables were sticky, clearly indicating a lack of proper hygiene practices. It was off-putting to say the least, and it made me question the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area.

Furthermore, the prices at Krispy Chicken were exorbitant considering the poor quality of the food. I expected a higher level of quality for the amount I paid, but unfortunately, it was a complete waste of my hard-earned money.

Overall, my visit to Krispy Chicken Shop was an absolute letdown. The subpar service, tasteless food, and unsanitary conditions were simply unacceptable. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider dining at this establishment and explore other options that prioritize quality and customer satisfaction.

I understand that not every dining experience can be perfect, but the complete lack of effort in providing a decent meal and the dismissive attitude towards customers is simply unacceptable. It is unfortunate that such a place exists, where the owner seems more interested in defending their establishment than actually improving it.
This is a spot of natural beauty and is stunning.
This place you can hike all day, but you can stop and take in the 360 panoramic views that will leave you breathless.
I went and had an amazing day.
I fully endorse this trip for able-bodied walkers.
Children aged over 10 should be able to walk the paths without too much effort.
Dogs will love this open expansion, but keep in mind there are sheep roaming the valleys, so maybe a leash would be a good idea.
Remember, this is free and cost nothing, but you will have an amazing time.
There is free parking on the sides off the main roads.
The cafe and toilet are about 5 miles from this particular location, and you should ve mindful of that.
I recommend taking your own drinks and food and stopping anywhere, and doing alfresco is all good 👍

A huge space for free park ..
Marked low due to the attitude of one over efficious parking bloke. Difficult to find a parking slot for a motorcycle on sloping earth/gravel. Asked for advice and openly laughed at and told to go and find somewhere. Fortunately, a chap came out of his office and took us to a suitable slot.
Not what anyone wants to experience.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
This has been the worst encounter I’ve ever experienced with a takeaway. I’ve ordered food on the website the money was deducted from my account, and the food was one minute away, according to the delivery app. The food never arrived after 2 hours of waiting, the shop was closed. I contacted the manager the next day to discuss the matter; he was extremely rude and had awful customer service; he never apologised and simply stated that there was a technical issue and that the business was closed. I still haven’t received my refund two weeks later.

Brilliant car park!.
It's on the doorstep of stanage edge,so perfect for a great hike up.
Positioned on the West side of Nonsuch park. Lots of pot holes, requires maintenance and car access can get congested at the entrance.
The entrance is a bit tight but the parking is great, lots of space in lovely grounds.
Free parking at the moment, but are looking at charging in the future.
The C.P. gets very busy, and fills up quickly first thing in the morning.
May change if parking charges come into play.

Loads of spaces and as close as you can get to Stanage Edge. Free but there is a donations box to help support maintaining the local services.
We go there to walk our dog such lovely friendly people would give more stars if I could
An absolute must to visit, so much scenery to blow your mind. Great walks as well..

Gravel car park where they do alot of filming for WW1 films as soon as it rains.
I don't understand how the powers that be can't get a lorry load of hard-core and a guy with a rake to back fill?
Otherwise bins often full and no facilities - one star fir being free though 😉
Beautiful gardens with an interesting and varied display of flowers, shrubs and trees all set in lovely diverse surroundings. The paths are good with various gradients. Very enjoyable.
Not many car parks are free around here in a perfect place to get on to derwent edge and surrounding areas
If ever you need your breath taken by a view this is that View !! Where else in England can you be face 2 face with 2 towering figures ?? Then see a panoramic view of 2 countries ,,,A case of Cymru meets Scouse lol..then the waterfront including the Mersey ferries and The I.O.M ferry Can be seen also... Tranmere and Birkenhead lay facing you.. extreme right gives you New Brighton including the light house..So enjoy !! Not my first visit that was 2007 New Year's Eve 20 mins of splendid fireworks
Hope you visit Regards Phil Hughes
I did my breakfast with the nice view ;)
Stunning place a great day out
Good well layed out carpark. It's on a steep slope so can be hard to walk back to the car. There is disabled parking which is easier to access. Carpark is free with toilets very close by
Nice little walk with stunning views

Beware there have been catalytic converter thefts from the car parks in Nonsuch Park including this one. Its free but poorly maintained by Surrey CC, potholed and muddy after rains. Keep to the few paths and bring wellies if wet!

Pot hole strewn car park - no evidence of maintenance. Shame, otherwise nice Park
It was So Muddy there we had to go back Home and Wasn't able to walk our Dog
Honestly don’t bother with car park. I’d only consider it if the two car parks which are bigger than this one across the road are full. This car park is so small sometimes cars can’t even round it.
Nice views, spoiled by druggies - often playing bass loud at night, disturbing other visitors (and they leave loads of laughing gas canisters), and boy racers breaking speed limits around the turning circle. Could do with a few cops up there just to deal with those mongs, but we all know Merseyside cops are useless tossers
A beautiful part of Peak District!!! If you like nature you can come here to let the car in the car park, which is busy all the time, and you can walk around to admire the area.
Great car park, we were the first car there this morning, plenty of spaces, easy access for walking, will be back.

A car park so big there are always parking spaces available. Free parking. I park here all the time when we come to Nonsuch Park.
A very wide and spacious car park. Ground is a bit bumpy but it is still good
Parked here today arrived around 8:30ish and was plenty of spaces to park and for free ! Really close to the visitor centre /cafe and toilets . I’d advise arriving early !! When I’d finished my walk around 1 o’clock every car park and and road side space was taken maybe it’s because it was New Year’s Day but it was extremely busy.

Have a lot of place for public parking. Parking is free and have toilets. Have cafe and later on big Garden where you can enjoy walk, waterfalls, different styles of trees and plants. Need to pay £15 to enter Garden but I think it's really worth it. Views from there is amazing! Definitely recommend!

The car park is free to use but it's on quite a steep slope so can be tricky to negotiate. It's also only really useful if you're planning on visiting Bodnant Gardens or one of the adjacent shops.
Cutthroat Bridge Carpark is such a fabulous Starting place for your days adventure its free and its perfect for Derwent Edge loop or even watch the sunset from Bamford edge. Easy access point to winhill for all out door adventure ie Mountain bike, Running , walking with some amazing views right in the peakdistrict ... IG. @wildmaninthepeakdistrict please follow 👍
this is a great place to walk up to look over the reservoirs, you can do quite a good circular walk that brings you back to the gate. Park in the layby 100 yds past the bridge heading towards sheffield , its free and a short step. Fab views and a great walk

A car park desperately requiring re surfacing. Even filling the many pot holes would help. It is not a good advertisement for an otherwise excellent park
This is a fairly small carpark in the centre of Rushden. It also looks quiet tight. Handy for the centre of town centre. If spaces are available, I would go to the Orchard Place car park, just across the road. This car park is free to use.
Free carpark, but full of potholes and very noisy. The place is constantly very busy with cars going in and out, especially when the nearby school closes and the kids come out.
Free car park all day if required, with the added plus of the best view of Liverpool.
Small car park and free
Great views of the city skyline and the mouth of the Mersey river
