Thank you Gail for what you have done for my little boys confidence . 5 weeks ago he was clinging to my neck as he was scared. His 5th session he is telling me he can do it by himself. Gail we will be back to you 100%,unfortunately he is a social butterfly and we have trips away at the weekends, but seeing his progression with you is phenomenal. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to him, getting his water safety certificate after 5 weeks is fabulous. Xx anya

Excellent! We look forwards to attending every week. Rowan is a great instructor. Love her enthusiasm. We decided to attend Turtle Tots based on a friend's recommendation 👌

Having recently signed up for a triathlon and not being able to front crawl at all I thought it was probably time to learn. Did 4 lessons with Gail within a week and by the last one I was competent and confident enough to carry on swimming on my own. She was a great teacher, very patient and clear with the instructions without over loading me with information. Would highly recommend if you’re an adult looking to learn or improve your swimming.

Gail taught my older three children 10 years ago who all were quickly out of armbands and learnt three strokes quite fast.
My youngest who is diagnosed with Autism is now also learning to swim with Gail and we really weren’t sure how she’d take to it given her sensory issues but she’s surprised us all and has learnt really quickly with Gail! She is now out of armbands and swimming 10m breast stroke in only 12 lessons. Would highly recommend Gail!

Gail is a fantastic swimming teacher. She has made such a massive difference to my children’s confidence. We have spent years attending weekly swimming lessons costing lots of money and time, in another venue, to no avail. My oldest daughter who loves swimming didn’t learn proper techniques or reach her potential and my younger daughter who is nervous made little progress and still had arm bands. Gail changed all this in 5 lessons. In 2.5 hours of swimming lessons both of my daughters had come on leaps and bounds with my eldest daughter learning breaststroke backstoke and front crawl and younger daughter gaining confidence in the water and able to take off the arm bands and do a width of breaststroke. Both of my daughters gradually gaining more confidence is the biggest positive of the lessons. She is very kind and patient but encourages my daughters to really believe in themselves which is inspiring and has really helped them to have confidence in the pool. It is also something they can take into other areas of their lives not just swimming. I am so glad we found Gail and so are my daughters.

We love turtle tots! Both our boys have enjoyed lessons with a variety of different teachers and venues across the years. Our 5 year old is now an independent swimmer, loves water and most importantly knows some skills that would keep him safe in water. It’s great to see our 2 year old developing the same skills. Lessons with turtle tots have been a constant for the last 5 years and we’ve made some great friends along the way

I thoroughly recommend turtle tots Edinburgh. My first child swam with them from 5 months to 5 years and as a result is a really confident swimmer who loves the water. My youngest (2 years old) swims with Karina and she is absolutely wonderful at what she does. I can't sing her praises enough. All the teachers we have swam with over the years are so dedicated to the children they are there to teach. Wonderful people and a wonderful swim school

Ollie has been swimming with turtle tots since he was 4 months old and is
now just under 2. He loves swimming with Karina as his wee face lights up and he gets excited. She allows him to take things at his own pace and never pushes him into something he’s not comfortable with. My niece and nephew also learnt to swim with Karina 8 and 13 years ago. A great swim school that I’d highly recommend xxx

We have loved swimming with turtle tots from 8 weeks to almost 5yrs. The teachers have all been so friendly and engaging with both parents and children. They really have got the best swimming out of my children who are now very confident in the pool.

Turtle tots has been absolutely amazing teaching both our kids swimming and water safety. They do this in such a fun playful manner and it's a nice time to spend with your wee one in the pool. We've been with them now over five years and through this time found the communication excellent and always helpful and friendly. They are quick to inform us of any changes and reply fast. There's also now an app to notify your absence and book a make up class.

My daughter has been swimming with turtle tots since she was 4 months old. She's now 4 and a half. She has great confidence in the water and that's down to what she's been taught by the fabulous teachers she's swam with. She's had 4 different teachers and each one has been amazing. She loves all the songs they sing and how fun they make the lessons! The badges at the end of each term are a nice touch too! Turtle tot lessons are worth every single penny. Highly recommend them.

Gail is absolutely amazing I highly recommend her to teach your little ones to swim. I was searching for the right person to teach my daughter to swim when I came across Gail's page, After reading her success stories and recommendations I needed to talk to her. Even on the phone I could feel Gail's passion for swimming and teaching and knew she was the one. We signed up for a 4 day swim crash course. My little girl was so nervous not confident in the water and wouldn't even put her head under. On day 4 she was super confident swimming on her back with no aids or help breast storke, back stroke and confidently showing me her breathing. She did 35m with no help at all, this is thanks to Gail's teaching skills and the children buzz of her enthusiasm for swimming. Thank you Gail your truly a water Whisperer

After taking my little boy to a few different classes with no success (so much so that he wouldn't even get in the pool after his last lesson) I found Gail online via her website. Fast forward a few weeks and my little boy can swim 4 breadths. Gail is a brilliant swim teacher who has no messing from the kids (in a great way) and keeps everyone's attention with simple techniques and even playtime to keep the kids going. Highly recommend to anyone looking for swimming lessons.

My granddaughter has gone from being apprehensive in the water to totally confident. She can now swim competently with style and distance all due to Gail’s teaching. Gail’s ability to get the best out of her young swimmers is second too none and her work with disabled children is nothing short of phenomenal. Gail is an outstanding coach with a personality to match.

My son Nathaniel has been having lessons for almost one year now and I cannot recommend Gail enough! Nathaniel was extremely nervous about going into the water when he first started but with Gail’s approach and technique used during her lessons has help Nathaniel gained confidence over time. Gail is a fantastic teacher/coach and full of passion in helping children achieve their swimming goals.

Been a few years since we finished but these swimming lessons were amazing for my 3 children. All went from babies until they were 3 years old. Best money we ever spent as all became confident swimmers because of these lessons. It's a fun approach but also learning crucial life saving skills from a very young age.

Have 2 kids in Turtle tots (4 year old and 1 1/2 year old) and I can't rate them highly enough. I started doing swimming classes with both kids as newborns as a nice activity to do and to build some water confidence. What I never expected is that Turtle tots would go from splashing around, singing songs all the way up to swimming and diving independently without aids. People never believe me at first when I tell them what my 4 year old can do. I show friends/family videos and people are as always shocked (as I was) that a child so young can dive independently and swim 10m independently.
My son has started to learn and took to it more easily thany daughter. So, I'm confident he will be doing the same when he's a little older.
I tried Edinburgh Leisure classes, too, but TT are way better. Also, when I talk to other parents who have kids in EL or other swimming classes, the toddlers are often taught how to swim with armbands, whereas TT teaches kids how to swim without armbands. Since my family is partial to a swimming pool or a beach holiday, I see TT classes as an investment in their safety and to develop a life skill.

Great class. Lailah loves going swimming every Saturday morning. She has come on leaps and bounds in the 12 months she has been going since she was 3 months old. Louise makes the classes fun and laid back, with every part being for a reason. Would highly recommend

We have been taking our little boy here since he was 12 weeks old, he is now 2 and a half. He absolutley loves it and so do we. The lessons are fun with lots of toys and interaction and lots of singing. Communication is great and the payment system is super easy to sort. Our little boy has come on so much and his confidence in the water is fantastic! Thank you Sutton Dolphins!!

My wife takes our baby boy swimming and she loves the classes. Email correspondence has been excellent, but it's just so much easier to call. We've had no issues and my wife thinks the instructor is superb. All straightforward.

I had my son signed up for a class. Fast forward. I considered posting the content of Emails going back and forth between myself and Sutton Dolphins. Since posting or writing about that content here might be too damaging to their business - I am a lawyer and formerly working for law enforcement - I will only say this: A surreal experience for me in terms of customer service; when I told them they violate the law in various ways they did not care; even when I told them I would write them a bad review, they still did not care. For more details I can always be contacted via personal message. I will definitely not trust them to take care of my child.
